Please use this thread to suggest changes to the Settings, Pop ups or Preferences in the game.
Preferences are the items that you can choose to show or not show, things like crops, trees, decorations etc.

Please remember NOT to comment, reply or quote any suggestion you see in these threads. This is to allow any member to feel comfortable about posting their idea regardless of whether or not it would be popular with other members or farmers!

All comments about other member suggestions, replies to them or quoting them will be removed by the moderators.

Periodically the developers will ask the moderators to clear all the suggestions out.
This means that the developers have reviewed them and made notes about them.
Currently suggestions made prior to March 20, 2024 have been removed.

FARM CAPACITY INDICATOR - It would be extremely helpful to know what percent of the farm capacity is used, similar to the Facility Capacity Used % which is nice for planning where to put new facilities, but showing the total % used on the whole farm. I understand that regardless of size each farm has the same capacity and exceeding that is what causes the disappearance of everything from previously plowed fields, flowers, trees, etc. including facilities because exceeding the capacity causes data corruption (per FT Support). I am working on my farms to avoid the problem, but really need to know the Capacity Used so I can see how much needs to be done on each farm. I thought just increasing size of farm could use some of the capacity even if that area was left empty? I also know layering is using a lot of capacity but would like this Indicator to help me manage the farms with less guess work. Thanks for considering the idea.

Please add a 24 to 36 hours filter to crops/wasted in "Show Farm Stats".

When looking at lists of neighbors or buddies it would be helpful to know which ones have ships enabled and NCC enabled. Maybe something like a Orange Light like the Green Light for Online. Or a fish/boat for ships enabled and for NCC just "NCC" or blue dice. Could also do one for those that do co-op with a purple dice. Can also put blue facility chain manager icon for those that do chains. This would help farmers decide on neighbors, buddies. Also, for those that like to decorate you could make a artistic icon.

Search Option Available For Multi-Planter For Trees And Flowers

When I search for a facility in the facility manager the icons for store all, start all, load all, and cash out all are greyed out. Please make it possible for these buttons to work when we want the facility we search for.:)

In the search bar for facility manager, add a start all/load all button. This will make it easier to start all of one facility, instead of starting one at a time. Would be a great time saver or players with multiple farms/facilities. Thanks for your consideration.

One aspect I would find helpful would be to somehow show what neighbors or buddies are helping the most (perhaps within the buddy/neighbor area). I know that it shows who works, send trains, etc at the bottom, but those go away fast - and it would be nice when deciding neighbors to clean and buddies to add to the neighbors, which ones are helping the most. What would be even more ideal could be to show what they regularly help you with.
For example, I might change a buddy to a neighbor if they are exporting items to me vs sending gifts, always sending trains, or working facilities. You can see these concepts on a one-on-one basis, but it would really helpful to see them compared to other neighbors in the same area. It's very difficult to keep up with them individually.

Hello - when you're tabbing through other farmers trading warehouse and people are buying/selling items from/to you, the notification text shows up right over the buttons to scroll through the warehouses. Please shift it to the top or middle of the screen so that it doesn't block the buttons. :) Thanks!

In the trading warehouse have the default settings as FREE for selling at super facility products and as 50% above for buying regular products. It is tiresome to manually reset each time.

A dual filter needs added to the train manager. A combination of farmers helping me and farmers online would be my first choice when selecting friends to request boosts for my trains.

Not sure if this belongs here, but here goes. In the farm stats window, you can sort three ways: Alphabetically, Quantity, and by category. The only place you can use category is for the trees, which separates them by shaker and chop. Could we have more options that would be useful for crops? I would like to know how long my crops will be good for - will they last the night? Something called "Wasted by" or some such. Thanks.

If we have a quest farm that we set for Replant same crop and when we set all farms to plant Peppers for example it changes our quest farms from Replant same crop to Peppers. Is it possible that once we set our quest farm to replant same crop to also stop from it changing each time we change crop? Thanks, I love the replant crop tool!

when we hit 'show names' and facility info ......... the blue % line ONLY show for % full of just the facilities ---------- can it be changed to or give us something to 1] show what % full a field is with everything that is one it ,,, and 2] show us what % full all our farms are together is taking up of what allowed total everything in all

this would really help in decided what to put where, which fields need 'un layering' etc.. etc..

suggestion: add the memcache clearing to the game. Many farmers don't know where to look for it. Or don't know how to make a bookmark for it.
Maybe give it a place in the game and add a question mark with a brief explanation? And the warning that the start-up will be a little bit slower? Just to avoid panic!
Could this be possible?

Hi! the repeat last crop tool is working great. I use it on 27 60x60 crop farms and the operation is two keystrokes where I have to pick the choice on each farm. It would be handy if this tool was available as a shortcut.... cheers!

It would be helpful to have a notification when our neighbors post their factories and services. It would also be nice to be able to work their factories from the NCC list of neighbors. The link could also say "Click here to help". Maybe create something on the side or within the neighbor bar.

In the ingredient planner, it would be helpful to have a filter that would limit the category shown. For example, I would like to be able to show the requirements for crops only, sorted alphabetically. As it is, I can only sort by crops or alphabetically. Alternatively, there could be a double sort - e.g. first by category, then alphabetically.

You know, the list of farmers who have done things for me like boosted my train or loaded my ship or worked my facilities? Listed under the game window. Can we please know when they did that help, so I can know if they did that today or last week or whatever? It would be much appreciated. Maybe make it a sorting option at the bottom in the gray ribbon.

When there is a special announcement about information we need to be aware of, please try to tighten that line up or the access line or anything you choose so that the bottom 8th inch or so playing screen does not fall out of sight.

Please add a "search all farms" option. When a farm pass quest calls for a certain tree or flower we have to go to each individual farm and search. And if we also have to go to our super neighbors to try to get enough for the quest, we have to do the same. Takes forever! Would be MUCH easier if we could just "search all" and know which farm has the tree or flower we need. Thank you.

Please consider changing the colors on the "store all" or "load all" buttons. It can be hard to distinguish the buttons when trying to load or store items. Thank you!!!

I think this category comes closest to my suggestion.

My eyes aren't what they used to be and I've always had a problem with breaking down large numbers quickly. If at all possible I'd like to see a comma or space in the numbers in mouseovers. 10 537 or 105 376 or 1 537 549 make it much easier for me to know what I want to sell/buy in the trade warehouse than do 10537 or 105376 or 1537549.

It would be helpful to have a filter for the other requests page such as Ingredients, Bonuses, Gift Requests, Farmer Accomplishments. Increasing the volume on this page helped but as more people use this to request 5 gifts at a time is taking up much space and making it more tedious to find what you need to accomplish your task. The category I referred to as "farmer accomplishments in most cases is useless and really takes up space. I do not think anyone has ever visited a farm because someone enlarged it or bought a new tool. Maybe a separate brag page for those who have interest in this would allow for better efficiency for all players and help all players get what they actually need. The best parts of the game are when you can help another player and there is some benefit for you too! Thanks for your consideration!

It would be very helpful to have a filter when you are in Check Products. I try to export something to all my neighbors that have room to receive exported goods. Sometimes to to that I have to go through Check Products. It would save time if I could sort by quantity rather than having to scroll through a bunch of products that are in alphbetical order. Other times it would be helpful to sort by facility.

I would like to see added to the game the following ability: When unchecking a production or required supply item, I would like a pop up window giving me the option to unchecked the same item in all the same facilities that I own, from some of the same facilities, or just one of the facilities. I would like to see the option of choosing two different choices on the drop down menus. As an example, I like to send train boosts to folks online, but only want to send them to neighbors helping me as they deserve them before I send to all neighbors who do not participate in helping me back as I always help them.

Add a Filter to the crops selection screen when planting (maybe just a checkbox) that limits to "Crops Used by Me".
Would be very helpful for those that are newer to the game or just don't have all the factories. When you sort by "Stored Amount", having a bunch of 0's before what you need to plant isn't beneficial.
