Hi There,

We just released a new update with the following features and bug fixes: En Español AQUI (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=642994)

1. 14 Halloween decorations: 4 as Gifts, 7 at the top of the Halloween category in the Store and 3 at the bottom.

2. 48 x 48 farm expansion for Farms 10 to 20: 40000000000 coins or 40 FarmCash. Please note that these expansions are for the *original farms* 10 to 20. If you have moved your farms around using the Farm Selector Manager then you will need to find your original farms from 10 to 20 to expand them. You can not expand a farm just because it is sitting in one of those locations in your Farm Selector.

3. Tree Shaker 40 x 40 (FC): This new Tree Shaker harvest up to 1600 trees in one click.

4. Flower Harvester 40 x 40 (FC): This new Flower Harvester harvest up to 1600 flowers in one click.

5. Other Improvements:

a) Continued increasing speed when working neighbours facilities, we replaced the feedback provided by the Mayor by a fading text
b) When you click a text in your Chat screen, if the farmer who wrote that text is still present her avatar menu will show up
c) BugFix: Some farmers with special characters on their avatar names were not able to report/ignore other farmers

6. Create 'Purchase Offers' for Regular Products in your Trading Warehouse: Trading regular products using your Trading Warehouse works totally separate from trading regular products online using the "Sell Products to..." avatar menu option, it has different buying and selling limits, trading interval length and rewards. Here are the rules for buying and selling regular products using your Trading Warehouse:

- There are a total of 6 categories of primary products: Crops, Tree Fruits, Tree Logs, Flowers, Animal Products and Fish

- You can have only one Purchase Offer for each of those categories at any given time

- There will be a maximum of 10 trade periods per day, each lasting 1 hour

- If there is no current active trading period, one will be created the next time you create a Purchase Offer in your Trading Warehouse or sell a product to a farmer in her Trading Warehouse

- You can passively buy and actively sell one time per category per period

- You can buy once and sell once to the same farmer each day

- You can not sell a product that you are also buying, for example, if you have a Purchase Offer for rice, you can not sell rice to others

- The products you buy in your Trading Warehouse don't count toward your quest Trade Lifeline

Trading Limits:

- When you buy or sell a product you are limited to a certain fixed amount each time, a trading limit

- For Crops, Tree Fruits, Tree Logs and Flowers the trading limits are the same for each product in a category, i.e. all crops have the same trading limit

- For Animal Products and Fish the trading limits can vary for each product in a category, i.e. cow milk may have a different trading limit than turkey feathers

- Trading limits are calculated based on your farms production capacity, so if you can generate a yield of 500,000 crops from your farms your trading limit for crops will be 1% of 500,000 = 5,000 crops. If you can generate a yield of 400 salmons from your waters your trading limit for salmon will be 1% of 400 = 4 salmons.

- Your trading limits will be recalculated about once a week, so for example if you restructure your farms to have less trees and more crops or if you expand your farms and plant new flowers this change will be reflected in your trading limits the next time they are recalculated

- When you open a Trading Warehouse of another farmer you will see your own limits not the limits of the Trading Warehouse owner, your trading limits will likely be different than hers, i.e. she may have a Purchase Offer for 3000 crops but your crops trading limit is only 1000 so you will only be able to sell her 1000 crops, to compensate for this, the other 2000 will be sold to her by the Mayor automatically. If your limit is 5000, then you will sell her 3000 and the Mayor will buy the rest from you automatically.

Special Reward:

- When you sell products from a certain category to another farmer you are going to earn a reward of 2 times the amount of product you are buying from that category, for example:

a) Say you have a Purchase Offer for 2000 tomatoes, and then when you sell crops to another farmer you are going to earn an extra reward of 2 x 2000 = 4000 tomatoes

b) Say you have a Purchase Offer for 4 squids, and then when you sell salmon to another farmer you are going to earn an extra reward of 2 x 4 = 8 squids.

Notice that sometimes the products you are selling are in high demand, like the salmon, however when you sell it, you are going to get twice the amount of squid that you are buying, which is also in high demand.

7. Traditional Japanese Restaurant (FC): Produces Traditional Japanese Food.

All these products can be stocked in the Taste of Japan service facility.

New products from other facilities: Dried Seaweed in the Semi-Trailer Truck, Matcha Powder in the Tea Factory, Dried Bonito Flakes in the Drying Facility and Buckwheat Noodles in the Pasta Factory.

8. Dominican Restaurant (Coins): Produces Dominican Food.

Three Hits Mangu
Pica Chicken
Fried Fish
La Bandera
Pork Locrio
Braised Goat
Sweet Beans Cream

New products from other facilities: Sofrito in the Sauce and Condiments Factory.

9. Wedding Supplies Factory (FC): Produces Wedding Supplies.

Cake Topper
Wedding Napkins
Candle Holder
Wedding Centerpiece
Wedding Arch
Ring Pillow
Bridal Bouquet

All these products can be stocked in the Bridal Shop service facility.

10. Taste of Dominican Republic (Coins): Provides Dominican Republic Cultural Exchange and Food Tasting Services and can be stocked with products from the Dominican Restaurant.

Post Release Updates - October 9th, 7:30PM

- The brown dot in the Neighbours Bar and the brown marking on avatar labels in the marketplaces are now aware of the availability of Regular Products Purchase Offers
- Small adjustments to the layout of the offers to make it more clear when you sold and when you bought products
- Added 'Rules' and 'Benefits' buttons to the Trading Warehouse screen with explanations of all the rules and benefits
- BugFix: The earned rewards when selling animal products is now based on the trading limit of the animal product you are buying, not the animal product you are selling
- BugFix: When filling your service facilities, sometimes a text was shown with how much coins were deducted

Post Release Updates - October 17th, 2:08PM

- The brown dots in the Neighbours Bar and the brown marking on avatar labels in the marketplaces are now much more accurately reflecting the current status of offers available to you from those farmers.

Make sure that it is open to the correct tab. The Buy/Sell of Regular items is open now and it may be showing that tab instead of the one for the Super Facility items.

They all will be at the bottom of the list in each of those facilities.


If you are not seeing them please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and look again.

I only worked 3 or 4 today and this started. I am sending screen shot of my message. And yes.... i ran MEMCACHE, cleared browser History, and tried it in 2 different browsers with same results.

I removed the link you provide as it is a link on your own computer and we have no way of seeing that.
You have a limit of how much you can get from Ingredient requests and from Belt bonuses. That total is all of the amounts you have received from those you have posted as well as the ones you have clicked on for others posts. They are not separate.

spice factory... you can always find out this information by opening your storage, set the filter to "From Facilities" then type the product name in the search bar.(magnifying glass) .. then click on the ? and then when the next pop up opens, "see how to obtain wasabi paste' and the facility is in the top right hand corner of that page.

afraid I got totally confused with the new selling regular products, thought I was SELLING but found out in fact that I was actually putting up goods (crops, tree products, flowers etc ) that I wanted to BUY, as a neighbor sold me tomatos... I have tomatos in storage up to my ears... was intending to sell some off... but its all a learning process so will persevere and see what happens.. LOL what I do like is that we can refresh offers after a time..

The new tools we got were the 40x40 Flower Harvester and 40x40 Tree Shaker.

We do not have a 40x40 Log Truck with Chainsaw yet. The biggest one is the purple and red 36x36. There is a white arrow above it in the tool box, but as there is no bigger Log Truck with Chainsaw it will not scroll that column up any more. That arrow has been there for quite some time now and may well disappear when we get a bigger tool in that column.

You are correct that you are saying you are willing to pay 50% over market price. The stock for those come from the farmer selling it to you.

Please click in your neighbor pic and then click in "Refresh Trade Offers" from the menu.

If they still show a beige dot after refreshing then when you click in "Show Trading Warehouse". Be sure you click in Buy Super Facility products button and not in Sell Regular Products as we still dont have full information on this feature.

It will be in the top part of the menu when you click on them. It will say "*Refresh Trade Offers" or if you don't have it sorted by trade offers will say "Order by Trade Offers"

If you look immediately after someone has told you they set it up it may not have had time to update for you. Did you try opening it anyway? It would have shown it to you even though the brown dot hadn't shown yet.
You do not have to hit the refresh for each one of those. Hitting it once is enough. I agree that some seem to continue showing the brown dot even after you have gotten something from them. That may be because of the additions they have done and are still working on to get it to all work correctly.
For the blank screen again make sure you are looking at the right tab. The Buy Super Facility Products at the top should be orange. Then if it is on the right tab and still showing blank try closing and reopening it. That has helped me when that happened.

The more you work the more memory is used. After those 15 or 20 facility work requests you do and it starts slowing down try closing and restarting your farms and see if that will speed things back up.

That can happen if a neighbor has already bought what you were trying to sell. They may have bought it just after you closed your warehouse to sell to a neighbor. Check your warehouse again and see if they have been sold. If it's still showing products to sell, reload and check again.

The developers have taken notice of this, so maybe they can figure something out. It could just be an internet link between you and the Farm Town servers getting bogged down as that data goes through many links between.

I do have the exact same problem. I have cleared cache, reloaded and even rebooted, but after I have worked about 10 facs ... its slows down completely. Even worse than it was before.

Since the Sept 27, 2019 release accessing neighbours warehouses has been very difficult. Today, Oct 2, 2019, there were 5 neighbours with the beige dot indication they had items in their warehouse. I tried going to each of them in turn only to have the screen come up without any items. Sounds like a major bug to me.

Make sure when you open their warehouse that the tab for Super Facility Products is orange. You may have been looking at the Regular Products tab.

The Sell Regular Products tab was just activated with this release.

"5. Create Buy Offers for regular products in your Trading Warehouse: Details coming in a few hours."
Try going back to each of those neighbors that have nothing showing in the warehouse and click on the tab title at the top "Buy Super Facility Products" and see if the products show up.

The developers are still working in this new feature and the information has not been released yet.
We will know more as soon as we get all the details to use the new tab.

When you open a neighbor Trading House and click in the new tab you are selling them regular products, not buying them.

My fog disappears under some items but not others. Several of the ones I bought got completely hidden in buildings instead of hovering over the buildings. SOME times it works, though, and looks cool!

I don't think it is like the clouds where it floats above everything. From what I see it works the same way everything at "ground" level works, in that one end is higher than the other, so if you put something on one side it goes under , but moving it to the other side allows it to be on top Like the swimmers and skiers. It may just take playing with it to get it in the right spot.

the question was for Raul did i put in the wrong space, i understand the 1 hr tme period and the 10 trades a day but it doesn't let us change what we want to buy and it doesnt seem to reset at midnight like the other TW stuff, so that what i was asking ..

You are right it doesn't let you change the item you have the buying offer up for. As I haven't had one last very long, it could be it stays until someone sells to you or it could be you could change it after an hour. I have not had one last that long. I do know that you can not set up a new one again until an hour after yours has sold.
Raul does not answer questions here directly, but maybe he will see it and add to the information in the first post, so keep watching there for any additions.

Great release! One issue I'm seeing is that when I try to create a purchase offer for fish it still says "coming soon". I can create offers for all the others. I have cleared my cache. My wife is also seeing the same results. Is this expected?

We know the fish section was more problematic than the other sections so I am not sure if they are still working on that. We have asked to confirm.

This MIGHT answer one of the questions that I THINK you are asking. I have found that if I want to change the crop (and other categories) all I have to do is delete the crop that I want to change. Then the bar comes up to create a new crop offer. This post is supposed to be directed J Nelson... first time I used the quote function.

Hi Lara,

The fish section is not released yet, it will likely be released in a few days time, that section has proven a little more complicated to implement, but it will be released in time.

Your Trading Period starts as soon as you add the 1st Purchase Offer in your Buy Products section of the warehouse OR you sell someone what they need in their Sell Products section of the warehouse, and it lasts for one hour. If someone sells you something you are asking for , in that section, within that hour and you look back in there then the Purchase offer will show you the details of who sold it to you and what you got and there will be a greyed out button with a time on it indicating when you can make the next offer for that category. When the session is over that button will again turn blue and show Create Purchase Offer. As soon as you Create another offer the next Trading Period starts. When you are out of Trading periods and you try to create another Purchase Offer you will be notified that you can not.

I hope that helps for the time being. The game guide will have full information about this feature as soon as we can get it done.

- BugFix: The earned rewards when selling animal products is now based on the trading limit of the animal product you are buying, not the animal product you are selling

At the moment, for the dot to go, you need to take an offer in both sections. There is an issue with it not clearing if they only have offers in one section. If they only have offers in one section and you take one of those offers, you just need to refresh the Trade offers for it to update. A similar thing happens with trading at the Trade marketplace as well.

The devs are aware of these and are still looking at how it could be be improved.

If the Avatar Only has Super Facility items, and you get one, the Tan goes away, BUT if they have Super Facility and Regular Items for sale, and you only take a Super Facility item, they stay Tan...very annoying. it seems to me that the only ones still showing the beige dot and items with BUY in blue which when you click on them then say the farmer doesn't have that item, are mainly from my neighbors in the USA as all those here in Australia work beautifully.. maybe the time difference has something to do with it.. who knows? I am not stressing as I have all I need in storage but it is becoming a waste of time opening the warehouses of those neighbors if thats all that is going to happen from now on.. hope the devs find a way for the feature to work as it is a great one... no need to reply to this.. just having a small winge... LOL ps have not had my coffee yet.

I have moved your post to the new release thread as you are asking about an item from the release. The last thing they worked on was the beige status for the trade marketplace. They have not said if they will be making further changes there. The only thing left to release is the fish section in the buy regulars in the warehouse. Keep an eye on the 1st post on page one. Raul will update that if he changes anything.

Yes ,we have seen your other post about this, which is also in this thread and so have the developers. What is possible to do, and whether or not they can or will change it to be able to show you either one or the other as well as both, only they will know. What you might want to add to your post, for the developers, is why you do not want to participate or can not participate in selling to others what they are wanting in the regular section of the warehouse. I can think of a few reasons why someone might not want to or could not, but it's better if you say why yourself.
