Hi There,

We just released a new update with the following features and bug fixes: En Español AQUI (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=648702)

1. 15 Halloween decorations: 5 as gifts, 6 at the top of the Halloween category at the store and 4 at the bottom.

2. 25 New Levels: Items located in the Buildings, Other, Farm Decor and Trees categories in the Store.

3. Next 5 expansions for Farm 42:

Upgrade Farm 32x32 - 48000000000 or 30 FarmCash
Upgrade Farm 34x34 - 48500000000 or 30 FarmCash
Upgrade Farm 36x36 - 49000000000 or 30 FarmCash
Upgrade Farm 38x38 - 49500000000 or 30 FarmCash
Upgrade Farm 40x40 - 50000000000 or 30 FarmCash

4. Increased Carbon Steel Sheet production by 20%

5. Other improvements released in the past 2-3 weeks:

a) A new "Consuming Specific Ingredient" filter has been added to the 'Regular Facilities' dropdown in the Facility Manager. When you select that filter a new dropdown arrow will be added for you to select a specific ingredient, then the Facility Manager will only show those facilities that produce at least one product consuming that specific ingredient.

b) When working together with a hired employee on a farm, the white text messages alerting you of the work your employee is doing will disappear when you mouse over them, this way they will not interfere with your own work.

c) Show a warning when loading a farm that have duplicated Farm Cash facilities, this way if you have accidentally placed a duplicated Farm Cash facility on a farm, you can move it to another farm and benefit from the extra production.

d) Wherever you search for something in the game, for example in the store, farm or market, you can now search for multiple things at once by separating the words by commas (,) ex: to search your farms for potatoes, tomatoes and peppers at the same time you can enter: "potatoes, tomatoes, peppers" in the search box.

e) When a product has a use as an ingredient AND can also be stocked in a service facility (ex: Leather Masks), we are now showing information on both roles in the help screens, i.e. what other products you can make with it and on which service facilities can you stock it.

6. Turbo Open-Pit Mine (FC): This is a new facility that produces 3 times more minerals than the current Open-Pit Mine. This works similar to the Red Windmill and the Stone Windmill facilities, the Stone Windmill has 3 times more output than the Red Windmill.

Note: This facility and the regular Open-Pit Mine can be placed on the same farm and both be producing at the same time.

7. Lanolin Factory (Coins): Produces Lanolin, used in the Milking Supplies Factory.

8. Milking Supplies Factory (FC): Produces Milking Supplies.

New Product from a new Facility: Lanolin in the Lanolin Factory.

9. Carpenter Supplies Factory (Coins): Produces Carpenter Supplies.

10. Milking Supplies Store (FC): Provides Milking Supplies Retail Services and can be stocked with products from the Milking Supplies Factory.

11. Carpenter Shop (Coins): Provides Carpentry Services and can be stocked with products from the Carpenter Supplies Factory.

12. Helping the Migration Team: For the next 3 months we will be spending maybe half of our time helping the migration team in the conversion of the game from Flash to HTML5, so new features and functionality changes will be less than usual in the coming releases. However, new facilities, new levels, seasonal decorations and farm expansions will be released as usual.

Post Release Updates - October 20th, 3:00PM

- After selecting a farming tool in full screen mode, there will be another dark brown eye icon on the bottom right to hide all game interface elements and provide you with more space when farming, this will include the main panel and all top icons. To show them back just click on the dark brown eye icon again.

Post Release Updates - October 21st, 7:00PM

- When farming with the main panel and the top icons hidden, you can now use the farm selector icon at the bottom right to switch farms.

- BugFix: Facebook profile pictures missing when sending and receiving offline messages.

One of my friends in Europe said she already saw new levels earlier in the week and wanted to know if I got the new farm cash for them and she was at level 1175 before she asked me about it. We both thought it was weird, but I am guessing that maybe she had some missing items that she had forgotten she wrote to support about. Until about 3 weeks ago she had been unable to request help with factories and shops and THAT was for a couple years. In any case I look forward to the new levels even if I am still trying to figure out how to spend 15.6 trillion coins! Thanks muchly Raul for the updates and the turbo open pit mine is truly handy.... (but then so is chocolate.) :D

When you get your tool to plant and the seeds tabs opens, hover your mouse on the seed picture and you will see how much is stored.

Many of those people play other farming games than Farm Town and think they are produced by Slashkey or even that they are the same game!

Thanks so much Raul and Devs for the awesome work you all do!!! I can hardly wait for the migration to be completed as I am unable to really play the game because of Flash being embedded in my new computer and I cannot make any changes or clear the cache. I continue to send gifts and am redoing my farms so when the migration is completed I can make up for this lost time. I absolutely adore this game and I will probably be playing it the day I meet my maker, lol

I love all of the new stuff. You have a creative team that is much appreciated. I do need to ask a question but don't know how to classify it as to me, the classifications are confusing and don't see how to ask a general question. Have you guys thought about getting away from Facebook? It would be nice if you were stand alone. I would be willing to pay $10 or less for membership.

The developers have looked at the problem and it appears to be a Facebook issue that just happened to occur at the same time the new levels were released. Only thing we can do is wait for Facebook to correct the problem.

Please do not post about this as it has been identified.

Try it now. If it still doesn't work try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

You can still send gifts if you select "search friends manually" instead of "farmers lists" but you do get a list of all your friends not just farm town friends. Not perfect I know but at least it works.

Was a nice idea, but not a good working one for a couple of reasons. 1)
When the top panel disappears, there is no way to go to the next farm without having to click the "eye"
2) with the bottom panel disappearing, Even tho the toolbox shows to the right of the screen, that takes out the entire purpose of having the shortcuts in the bottom panel for our tools for quick access. Just my opinion, but not working for me at all. You have to click on the eye so many times it takes more time than just doing it the old way.

After I very carefully read your post I gave it a try. Provided all the available work on the farm is done the game automatically switches back to normal mode with the top and bottom panels back. As a right handed person whose right hand sometimes does not do exactly what it is supposed to because of a stroke I found it extremely helpful not to accidentally be clicking the neighbor bar and ending up on a different set of farms. It works best if the Autoselect Tools box IS checked in the Preferences (wrench / spanner) menu.
