Hi There,

We just released a new update with the following features and bug fixes: En Español AQUI (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=658674)

1. 56 x 56 farm expansions for Farms 31 through 44: They cost 50 FarmCash or 85000000000 Coins.

2. Farm Pass: This is a seasonal event offering the opportunity to earn all kind of rewards by completing different goals as you play and interact with different features of the game, here is how it will work:

a) It will be a monthly event available for players at level 100 and up

b) 3 daily goals will be unlocked each day for you to complete on the current day

c) 3 season goals will be unlocked each week for you to complete on the current month

d) Season goals will be harder than daily goals but will earn you more farm pass points

e) As you earn farm pass points you will be unlocking different kind of rewards

f) Rewards can be free or premium, everyone will have access to the free rewards and players who purchase the Farm Pass will also have access to the premium rewards for that month

g) Some rewards when claimed will grant you instant benefits like farm products, facility ingredients, farm decorations, coins or farm cash

h) Other rewards will grant you certain privileges that enhance your game experience and will remain active for the rest of the season, for example, earning extra products when farming, increased capacity for facilities that produce common ingredients and increased output for trains and ships

i) All free rewards will be instant rewards. The premium rewards will include all the privileges and the same set of free instant rewards but with 20% more benefits

j) The Farm Pass to access the premium rewards each month will cost $4.99, it have to be purchased from inside the game and cost real money, it cannot be purchased with Farm Cash

k) Any of the current goal targets and reward benefits may change in the future

l) New type of goals will be added soon, including trading and facility chain goals

m) New type of rewards will be added soon, including avatar features, reviving crops, unstuck ships and completing quest steps

To access the Farm Pass screen click the top left yellow ticket in the farm, it contains 3 tabs:

Goals Tab: This tab shows all the active goals and your progress on them, the left hand side shows the daily goals and the right hand side shows the season goals, you can mouse over each goal to check details

Rewards Tab: This tab shows all the rewards you can claim as you earn enough Farm Pass points to unlock them. It is divided into a free bottom half and a premium top half. Purchasing the Farm Pass gives you access to all the rewards in the season.

Privileges Tab: This tab shows all the available privilege rewards, the ones you have already claimed will show in color with a green background


Mod Note: There are 2 different goals for Ingredient Packs.

Send Ingredient Packs to friends - Go to 'My Requests' and then click on 'Show Other Wall Requests' and then select anyone that has requested ingredients. The Ingredients pack will appear in their Giftbox.

Receive Ingredient Pack Gifts - Open any Facility and click the + Icon to request ingredients. When others click on your requests, the Ingredients Pack will appear in your giftbox.

6. Science Club (Coins): Provides Science Community Services and can be stocked with products from the Science Supplies Factory and the Great Scientists Book from the Printing - Packaging Factory

- Bugfix: The red star over the yellow Farm Pass icon still showing even when there were no new rewards to claim or new goals completed.

- Bugfix: Removed the progress indication from the Neighborhood Chains Content goal, this season goal is always completed the first time you rank in the top N places

- Showing more prominently the Farm Pass benefits earned when doing actions like unloading trains and ships, claiming the Job Completion Bonus, etc

- The unclaimed Farm Pass reward notification will only show up when you reload the game, rather than on each farm. Also, it will not show up if the only pending rewards are decorations.

- A warning message is shown when claiming a Farm Pass decoration reward but having no space in your item storage to store it

Bugfix: Send gifts back from the 'My Request' tab now counts toward the Send Gift Farm Pass goal

Bugfix: Cannot delete an existing facility chain

Bugfix: Excavator tool not working when deleting a big number of items in big farms

Thanks for the new update but I've seen a discrepency as the TEST TUBE RACK produce in the Science supplies factory is used in the Science club service. When I go to sell my items at thee market using ''non-ingredients for me'' selector the test tube rack is appearing into that list. Can you explain, and if it is an error please correct it please to avoid selling those at the market

Thanks so much for the update. I love the Science Club, but it's causing me a lot of confusion. In the Science Club, when I click on the little notepad to the required ingredients, I see:

A run until-full of what you stock in the Science Club F5 requires:
Maple Lumber Pile
Teak Lumber Pile
Pine Lumber Pile
Plastic Granules
Stainless Steel Sheet
Aluminum Sheet

But when I look at "see stock planner for the Science Club" it shows the Pencil Compass, Calculator, Funnel, Test Tube Rack, EMC2 Equation Poster, Atom Model, Telescope, and Mobil Science Workstation that are made in the Science Supplies Factory.

So, while in the Science Club, I tried loading one batch of Telescopes, and on the "what's in stock" tab, it indicates that I now have 2 Telescopes in progress. But I have made no Telescopes in the Science Supplies Factory yet.

Is it just me? Do you need to pat me on the head and advise a second cup of coffee? I'm also curious about the Great Scientists Book.

You do not have any belts in the Science Club as it is a service facility and those do not have belts. The belts are in the facilities and the only product loaded in the Science Club currently that has belts is the Great Scientists Book that is produced in the Printing - Packaging Factory. The rest of the products for that service are from the Science Supplies Factory and we do not have belts for that facility yet.

My guess would be midnight EST in the US as that is the time used for the servers and the game for those things that use the 24 hour clock, like the NCC.

I remember, around two updates ago, there was a yellow tag on the farm screen and it counted down the number of days left for the farm pass. Based on that, I think we will see that appear again. Just speculation, we shall see.

it is released but there are NO details. You have to spend Five Euros and Five Cents to get the pass but no details and there are less than two hours to the end of the day and somethings have to be done daily.

Look above the daily goals and that will tell you how many more hours you have to complete them. It is not by your local time.

i sent to support, I can't believe no one considered that putting something flashy sparkling on field would be an issue for players who are flash sensitive, i now have to play with a piece of black tape on my screen and be very careful not to scroll up or down,,,, not happy ....:(:(

I have to plant 144,000 crop fields. When I work on a farm that I am a SN it counts towards that. But when I work on a DIFFERENT farm that I am SN, it doesn't count. I get error message - Farm Pass Server Mismatch. Help!!

I received a bunch of cows as a gift from Farm Pass for completing goals and getting points, I can not get them out of my gift box, I tried moving them to storage, to an empty barn and putting them directly on 1 of my farms and they do not move from the gift box as they do not show up at the end of my curser when I click the use button, I can store/move any gift sent by my neighbors from the gift page or bonus/ingredient post, just not the 1 that came from FP.

The sparkles will disappear when you have collected all the rewards that are open for you. They do show when you have a completed goal as well but if you open the farm pass manager and the points are added then it will stop.

The points are earned when you complete the goals in the Goals tab.
It will update usually if you move your mouse off the side of the game for a couple seconds.

I moved your post to the new release thread as this is part of the release.

If you did not get the normal bonus for working for a stranger then you would not get credit for any farm pass goal.

Either you were working for a neighbor/buddy or you did not complete all of the work on any of the farms.
I checked your data and I do not see any work for strangers in your account.

There isn't one for load as we do not load our trains. We either dispatch them or unload them.

Check post 7 of the new chapter about Farm Pass and find the one that fits the one in your manager.

If you are talking about unloading and dispatching your neighbors trains as their super neighbor, those do not count for your goals. You have to unload your own trains only for that goal.

Wow. This is sure going to push me to learn parts of the game I've never bothered with before. I'm supposed to water 3 bromeliads. I read the thing about how to earn flower watering goals - but what I don't remember is, how do I find out which of my farms have bromeliads? Or - can I water neighbors' flowers and hope there are bromeliads? How do I do that?

Wow. This is sure going to push me to learn parts of the game I've never bothered with before. I'm supposed to water 3 bromeliads. I read the thing about how to earn flower watering goals - but what I don't remember is, how do I find out which of my farms have bromeliads? Or - can I water neighbors' flowers and hope there are bromeliads? How do I do that?

You have to water your own or as a Super neighbor you can water your neighbors. One point though if you check it closely you have to use the water can. It will not work with the sprinklers.

Try reloading your farms. That should clear the Farm Pass Server Mismatch. If that doesn't then please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

Hover your mouse over them. They may not need watering (all the drops are blue) when you first plant them. If that is the case then you will not be able to water them until some of them show empty.

this morning I started the Game Pass Goals, only one I had difficulty with was the number of peoples facs I needed to work for the chosed fac... a lot of my neighbors can't afford fc facilities so I didn't quite readh the ideal number... when I came back this afternoon, it had all changed and a totally new set of goals had me working hard but I managed to do them all, the only one I am avoiding is the one that requires me to come between 1st and 6th place and as that is never going to happen, I don't even attempt the NCC anymore. Was very happy to spin the wheel and collect a pile of rewards, so am quite happy with it all so far... only problem is now I don't have time to actuall farm, LOL

And I do understand that we do not have to complete daily items to get rewards. I assume by completing some items daily you build up points to collect a reward.

If by chance I do things that complete a goal during my normal game play all well and good but I am not going out of my way to do things I do not normally do. I can't remember the last time I was hired at the market to work on someone's farm. I simply do not have the time!

It appears that quite a few games on FB are taking on this kind of play in the their game and adding in extra incentives for buying a pass with real money monthly. And it's a good little money earner for the game developers. Pay to Play and not grumbling it is a choice.

It is forcing us to change the way we play if we want to do them. Making us come on the game more to achieve stuff or doing things we don't normally do.

And there was me thinking the Farm Pass would be something that was actually helping us in the game just doing our normal daily stuff and perhaps earning a bit of farm cash along the way. Silly Me lol

There are a whole bunch of examples of what the various goals are.
For gifts and ingredients it depends which icon you are seeing. Mouse over the goal and read the tooltip it should tell you need to send them or accept them. The post about "Gifts, Ingredients, Send Bonuses Goals" has examples of the various red and brown gift boxes you might see.

For stats on Flowers, you need at least 7 farms at 28x28 or bigger (ignores frozen flowers)

You may find some daily goals will be easier than others, so it's worth checking them daily and see if there's anything easy enough for what you like to do in game.

The seasonal goals you have all season to do them and you get more every week, those aren't replaced like the daily goals, you just get more every week. It's worth checking those as well to see if what you get as it is possible for you to do.

The points you earn accumulate they don't reset every day. They reset at the start of a new season so you have the rest of the month to earn some points.

Even if you are only participating with the Free goals, some of the rewards can help you with supplying your own facilities.

Some goals can be for helping others so if you have goals for those and tend to help others with things like working facilities, ships, trains, co-op quests you can still earn some points completing some of those.

You can also have a look in the Rewards section and see if there is a Farm Cash one on the bottom row to see how many points you need to earn it.

The game looks at the size of your farms (as they can be different sizes) calculates the average of what you could get from them (when not layered) and when you spin the wheel you have a chance of getting up to 32 times what that average is.

The goal that requires a specific tool to use are the watering flowers goals, those you must use the watering can and not the sprinkler.

For things like crops, trees, flowers, fishing any size relevant tool can be used. It's not possible to show all the different tools so when you see one it's usually representing the kind of job it is so harvest flowers might show a flower harvester, crops to plant will show a seeder and so on.

When you claim the reward, just look in the fortune wheel that shows. It will show you the highest and lowest amounts that you have a chance of earning for that particular reward when you spin the wheel. When it stops, that's the amount you get that time.

Wow. I just completed one of my seasonal goals but I've yet to complete a set of daily goals before they were replaced with a new set. I thought daily goals were supposed to be easier, but so far, that hasn't been true for me. For example, right now, I'm supposed to dispatch my yellow cargo ship. My yellow cargo ship is out making the rounds to ports at the moment so there was no WAY it could get back in time for me to launch it again. Yesterday, I got 2 of my 3 dailies. Today, I'll only be able to get 1. Did I see somewhere that the points we get for dailies get counted somewhere? Or if we don't get all 3, is that set of dailies just lost?

Yes it is a monthly season. So you do have to buy the farm pass each month if you want the premium rewards. Or you can just do the free rewards.

If when hovering your mouse on the goal image it doesnt tell you to go to market to be hired by a stranger, then you can harvest them in your own farms or in a super neighbors farm.

Sometimes if you arrive to a farm with trees just ready to harvest or chop data is not updated and you need to reload the game.

Goals are ramdom, so you can get some for things you dont own. It is your choice to do the goals or not. As it is a seasonal goal you have almost all month to complete it.

Please think that users at low levels can purchase it,as it is available at level 100 and then do their goals.

If you wish to do that goal, you can purchase the ship and only load 1 container and send it.

There are goals for unloading any ship as well as for the specific ships. The ships are coin and if you only use the blue one for the goals you haven't lost any thing and you gain points for the Farm Pass.

The privileges go green when you have claimed the reward for each of those privileges. You can claim those rewards when you get enough points to have the green claim show on them.
Those privileges are not in the row for the free rewards.

The privileges go green when you have claimed the reward for each of those privileges. You can claim those rewards when you get enough points to have the green claim show on them.
Those privileges are not in the row for the free rewards.

Goals are ramdom, so you can get some for things you dont own. It is your choice to do the goals or not. As it is a seasonal goal you have almost all month to complete it.

Please think that users at low levels can purchase it,as it is available at level 100 and then do their goals.

If you wish to do that goal, you can purchase the ship and only load 1 container and send it.

the blue ship is only ten million COINS. If you don't want to deal with it after completing the goal, put it in storage. I have gotten to the point that ships are profitable and not as frustrating as they used to be.

Did you get hired by a neighbor or work as a super neighbor? That doesn't work for the goals.

You can send ingredients to a friend or receive ingredients. We dont know which is your exact goal.

To send ingredients you could click in your My Requests tab and then click in Show other wall requests link. There you will find many ingredients requests you can use for your goal.

If you need to receive ingredients, then you first need to ask for them. Open one regular factory and then click in the + icon for any product. You will post to facebook asking for ingredients. Once a friend click in the request, ingredients will be sent to your gift box and the goal will be completed.

Only way I know of finding them is to look. You can uncheck all the things for show except ships in the preferences and that will help.

On the first one did you collect the bonus on each farm you worked? You have to complete all work on the farm you were hired for and collect the bonus for the goal to count.

If you are supposed to send the bonus to neighbors then look in the My Requests/Show Other Wall Requests for any posted Belt/dan bonuses and click on Get Bonus.
If you are supposed to receive the bonuses you would have to post a belt/dan if you have one you can post.

If you go to the next field, you still get a pop-up message saying what you have collected from the chest (whether or not you clicked on the chest.) I'm pretty sure that I've actually got everything inside the chest when just going to the next field, but before the Farm Pass, it had been a long time since I worked a non-friend farm, so I will have to double check that I'm actually getting the stuff, and not just getting a pop-up message but not getting the stuff.

If you get another problem with a goal, please mouseover the goal and copy the exact information in the tooltip in that goal so we know exactly which one it is.

Then please also tell us exactly what the jobs were that you did and on how many farms, if there was anyone else there working as well, if the farms were layered or not when the goal did not complete.

Please also make sure that there is no number on the disc (save) icon before you collect any bonus and leave a farm and make sure that you complete all jobs on all farms, then reload the game and check farm pass again and see if the information updated for that goal.

Then if it does complete on another job hire, please also let us know exactly the same information about that particular job was, so we can compare what the differences were.

It shouldn't matter how you want to collect the bonus chest, either before you leave the farm when that farm is completed, or if you collect it as you click on another farm to work, or if when the last farm is done you collect when the job hire is completed and then go home.

I am sorry we have to ask you to do this but there are a great many goals and types of jobs, so you do need to assist us in giving specific details if there is a problem with any goal so we can try and pin down exactly where the problem may be.

I will look to do that if I have any issues in the future, there are so many variables. But to give you some more of my anecdotal info, with the issue I had, the farm pass goal was to collect experience after being hired at the marketplace (something like 7,000 experience, I don't remember the exact number.) I was hired for a solely harvest/plowing, the farm was layered. I went through the individual farms (around 5 of them) and then returned to own farm, when I realized I got 0 of the needed experience. I then went back to get hired again, my next job was mixed, harvest/plowing, trees, etc. I manually clicked on the bonus box each time before moving to the next farm, and then checked my farmpass, and the experience was all registered. Today, I had another experience farmpass goal, this time when I was hired, the job was once again solely harvesting/plowing, since clicking on the bonus box before moving to the next farm had worked the last time, that is what I did. Next time I get an experience goal, I will get all the exact information, and try just going to the farm without clicking on the bonus box, to see if that really does make a difference, or if it was just coincidental.

If it is for cooperative quests then you can open 1 every 10 hours, so twice a day.

If it is for regular quests, are you sure it is for open 2 or for complete 2 of them?
You can check that by hovering your mouse on the goal image to get more information.

If it is to open 2 regular quests daily then it is not easy. If it is to complete 2 regular or cooperative quests that day, then you have to think what is good for you depending on your times to collect.

Please think that all goals are assigned randomly, maybe you cant complete 2 quests as you have just collected your cash, but there are other users who will not have problems as they have collected days ago.

I signed out and back in again - did a hard reboot. Have NOT cleared my memcache 'cause I just did that a day or so ago. Still only says 29. Did I miss something? I'm pretty sure I've snatched trains off the My Requests page before and they counted. Guess I'll go try my memcache thing again.

Your problem is you boosted those 2 through the My Requests. You have to boost the trains through the Train Manager only. They do not count for the goal if you boost them in the My Requests.

When you did the 3rd train boost for your goal did you do it through the train mananger or the My Requests? If you did it through the My Requests those do not count for the goal. Any boosts or train things you do for the goals has to be done through the train manager.

NCC goals are Seasonal goals. Season goals do not always have to be completed the week that you are given them. They are not replaced by new ones the like the Daily Goals are. Season goals are cleared when a new season starts.

In your example the goal is to place in the top 5, so depending on when you get that goal you do not necessarily have to place top 5 in the contest that ends that particular week. The exception to that, would be if you were to get an NCC goal in the last week of the season.

For example you got that goal in the first week of the season and didn't place top 5 that particular week, you still have the rest of the NCC contests in the rest of the month to see if you can place top 5 in one of those before the season ends.

The feature is still being worked on and we will do our best to make sure the game guide for Farm Pass is also updated if any changes need to be made to it as soon as we have time to do it.

You should be able to send any gift showing on the Send Gifts page you just need to make sure it's one per person and that you are using the Send Gifts page to send them.

Were you both doing that?

If the goal has a big green XP on the picture and states that you need to be hired at market, you must be hired by a stranger at the marketplace, then you will get the bonus chest when you complete the work on a farm and go to another one or leave the farm to return home.

The seasonal task that requires a player to work at a ft friend/neighbors facility x number of times needs to be a realistic number especially if they only count as 1 point regardless of how many of that specific facility the player owns.

Example: I currently have to work at my ft friends/neighbors Hospital 182 times .. I have 91 ft friends, 86 are neighbors .. only 28 of them have this FC facility and 9 only work their facilities/farms every 2-3 days so working this facility that number of times will make it impossible to complete the task. my progress so far is 57 out of 182 since FP was released and there are less than 48 hrs to get the task completed.

That is a seasonal goal, so you have the whole month to complete it.

You have 48 hs left to get more seasonal goals, but the ones you already have will stay, they are not replaced as the daily goals.

You should be able to send any gift showing on the Send Gifts page you just need to make sure it's one per person and that you are using the Send Gifts page to send them.

Were you both doing that?

For example using My Requests to accept/exchange and then return them won't count.

Yes I was using the my requests to accept/exchange and then return them but was returning hot dog sausages, when doing the same but returning tomato's it worked fine.

Farm Pass, a pay to play feature, too bad. I don't need yet another game activity based on timers and clocks. If Farm Town needs to generate income, keep it simple and offer periodic sales and special pricing on Farm Cash. But $4.99 a month for virtual crops? Nope.

I have a small issue with the game pass. Yesterday, 9-5-22 I had to finish 2 regular quests, which wasn't the issue. I was able to do that, and once I did, I collected my 2 FC because I finished them all.

Now, this morning I come on, and low and behold, I have the same thing to do again. Now I can do the 1 regular quest, but I don't receive another until 9-7-22, at which time it is too late for this goal. What if anything can be done about this? BTW, I do love the challenge of this new game. However, there should be more season goals to work on. Thank you. Donna.

If they were, I'm afraid that is just the random section of goals that you can get. It is possible to get those as daily goals and it's up to you to determine if you can do them or not.

The reason I asked if any were a season goal was because you have more time to complete season goals as they aren't replaced every day like the daily goals.

Any goal that is given, doesn't mean that they will all be possible to do by every one.

You are of course free to give feedback in this thread if you don't like that possibility happening so the devs can see it.

Hi Fireball,
You don't get to select the neighbor. It would be the first neighbor that works your facilities after you have collected that reward. Same for each week it would be the first neighbor to work your posts after the new "week" starts.

The only way I think you can do that is to post only to one neighbor first after collecting the reward. We are not sure yet how it would work for the succeeding weeks. That would still be hard to do as anyone can start working your facilities from previous posts and might get them.

I am a bit confused. The instructions are Job completion is a job requiring 3 different jobs in one hire. I was hired to do ponds, trees and flowers and collected my bonus at job completion. I did not receive credit for this. Am I misunderstanding what the description of a job is. Please clarify for me. Thanks

The job has to be done for a stranger, hired in the job market, and completing the the 3 jobs in one job hire. To get the completion you have to collect the bonus chest or chests if the 3 jobs are on different farms. It looks like that is what you did.

Try restarting your farms and see if it shows you got it. If you still see it open then please contact Support concerning this.
