Hi There,

We just released a new update with the following features and bug fixes: En Español AQUI (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=660034)

1. 24 New Holiday decorations: 4 as Gifts, 4 at the top of the Holiday category at the store and 12 at the bottom. Also, there are 4 new people at the bottom of the Winter category.

2. 58 x 58 farm expansions for Farms 1 through 11: Prices are 60 Farm Cash or 100 billion coins.

3. Server side optimizations:

a) Accepting gifts in the 'My Request' page is now much faster
b) Completed optimizations that enabled us to release bigger farms
c) Currently working on more optimizations that should enable us to release bigger tools

4. Minor Improvements released last month:

- Removed seasonal gift decorations from the Farm Pass 'Receive Specific Gift' goal
- Added a note icon next to each player in the Farm Pass collect farm cash gift screen so you can say Thanks back
- The search bar in the custom sort screen in the Facility Manager now accepts more than one facility name separated by comma and you can use the arrows to scroll through them
- When arriving at an empty marketplace we suggest players to set the language to English (US) in their preferences
- New Thanksgiving decorations
- Bugfix: Linked emails were reset to empty when changing your avatar name or sex in the Accounts tab

5. Slovakian Restaurant (FC): Produces Slovakian Food.

Post Release Updates - December 15th, 9:30AM

- When accepting gifts, the 'Send Gift Back to All' button is now showing up if your gift box fill while accepting those gifts. This will allow you to quickly send gifts back to the senders of the gifts that were accepted.

- The Show Names->Show Work Info and Farm Stats features now use browser memory more efficiently. When you open the Farm Stats screen it doesn't always shows the latest info, if you need the latest info click the Refresh Stats button.

- Bugfix: Daylight Savings clock changes caused duplicated purchases of the November Farm Pass. We are currently in the process of granting credits or refunds to the affected users.

- Bugfix: Sometimes the game got stuck after posting Belt/Dans bonuses

Post Release Updates - December 24th, 12:00AM

- Released workarounds for the Facebook bugs affecting areas of the game like sending train boosts, neighbour requests and gifts back to players. When using the 'Send Gifts Back to All' button in the 'My Requests' page we are showing you a friend selector with all the senders of the gifts you just accepted, we know is not ideal as you have to do some extra clicking on each friend, but at least you don't have to search for each friend manually to send gifts back to them.

Hopefully Facebook fix this bug soon and we can go back to the original flow.

there is a issue wit the gift acceptance page when you accept gifts and your gift box fill part way through a page you get the message that your gift box is full and the send gifts back to all button does not come up meaning if it has only accepted part of the page you have to go through and return gifts one by one to the players on the page that only got partly accepted before it used to accept the whole page and just slightly overfill your gift box please fix this

also can you please extend the ship despatch time to 1.5 days i have stopped doing ships because of constantly getting the expired message due to missing the time with work commitments etc the time is 2 short

Thank you, I've noticed the farm pass has some very dubious behaviour, e.g boost neighbour's supreme train, when I do it doesn't register that I've completed the task, some train boost requests showing up on gifts but not on train manager?

Hi Leslie Lou :)

The best way to send belt/dans to your friends is by clicking in your My Requests tab and then clicking in Show Other Wall requests.

There, you will find belts/dans bonuses, they are the ones saying " I just reached....., when you click in Get bonus link you are sending them to your friends.

Be sure those posts do not have a pink background, if they have it, then it means that you have already sent them belts/dans bonuses.

It's not just disappeared. It appears that Facebook is blocking it again. I had 2 accounts with it open already and went to check the co-ops and Neighborhood competition with the third and it could not be opened. :mad:

UPDATE 03 DEC 2022 8PM GMT (UK Time)

The developers have let us know that they have had to go through the appeal process again and are currently still waiting for a response to the appeal.

Facebook have deactivated the game due to issues with their policies, however these are not security issues this time and are about app integration and experience.

The appeal process is the same process as the last time and until Facebook have had time to review the appeal and approve the changes the game will remain deactivated for the time being.

The developers will also try to update the Farm Town fan page later today.

Hi Farmers,

On December 1st the Farmtown app was deactivated again by Facebook, see below the first email we received from them:

Your app is violating the following Platform Terms or Developer Policies:
Developer Policy 1.2: Build an app that is stable and easily navigable. Some common violations of this policy include:
- Broken Facebook integration (e.g. broken share, like or comment functionality)
- Broken user experience in the app (e.g. app has broken links or user interface failures)

Their motive for deactivation this time around are broken Facebook integration and/or user experience in the app but they are not specific about what the issues are, we have already submitted an appeal asking for more information and we received the following reply from Facebook:


We received your appeal for Farm Town (56748925791) and are reviewing your case.
Our team will get back to you by the end of the next business day. Please note that while this case is pending, you won't be able to submit another appeal for this app.

Last time they took a week to reply, hopefully this time they will reply faster but we don't really know.

Phew, glad to see the game is back! Thanks for all the hard work Raul and the team have done to get us back to it. I've been playing for about an hour and I have been disconnected from the mainframe a couple of times, but it's no biggie.

Thank you for getting farmtown back up and running but there is going to be any compensation for the time lost as this was the second time? All my crops were wasted. I had seven quests out of 8 finished for 2 fc that were too late. I have invested a lot of time and money in this game and refuse to put anymore money into it if it just disappears without a moment's notice without any compensation. You have made it very difficult to year fc, unlike in the past and so many facilities that were once free now require it.

You would demand a credit, you would be legally entitled to it, the company would be in hot water if they just ignored your protests, and you just might be in the market for a new Internet provider.

The difference is that the developers were not pocketing or earning any money while the game was down both times. Since no one was able to buy any farm cash during the shut down then there was no income and no monetary loss for you.
Your protestations were not ignored and they worked as fast as they could with Facebook to resolve the complaints from Facebook. Facebook is not quick in responding.

As I said any compensation will be up to the developers.

I moved your post to the current release thread since you are asking about compensation.
It is up to the developers what if any compensation for your virtual losses you have incurred. As for real money, I am not sure what loss you have had for that as no one could buy farm cash during the time the game was down.


If you wish to make a suggestion for the Farm Pass please post that in the Suggestions section where the developers will see them organized by subject.

Even if the deactivation was entirely the fault of Facebook, it would be a sign of goodwill on the part of the developers if they offered some sort of compensation. As it is, some players will feel reluctant to spend more money on the game, and some may quit entirely, out of speculation that further outages are likely in the future.

I'm thinking that maybe we ought to be buying MORE FarmCash to help with the finances of moving the game away from Facebook and onto their own servers. I think that if Raul gave us some indication of need, I'd gladly chip in to help facilitate a move.

This has been sent off to the developers to look into.

Not sure if I will ever play again after all that, through Facebook saga. I noticed a bad mistake by Slashkey .First some of us lost 6 farm cash plus during the lay down yet there was no offer of any compensation on that. So therefore the developers think the same as Facebook. Well news to the developers the players think the same of your game now.

I have managed to get the 2 farm cash for each farm pass since the feature first came online. Are you trying to get everything from just your own farms? The animals have to be done from your own. But the fish, flower, tree, and crop goals can all be done on the farms of other people if you hire yourself out or are the Super Neighbor for other farmers. I hope this helps.
