Hi There,

We just released a new update with the following features and bug fixes: En Español AQUI (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=662258)

1. 60 x 60 farm expansions for Farms 1 through 11: Prices are 60 Farm Cash or 120 billion coins.

2. Flower Harvester 44 x 44: Harvest up to 1936 flowers at once.

3. Buddy List screen Improvements:

- Bigger screen
- It now include pictures and real names
- Search bar

4. Other Minor Improvements:

- When receiving a Buddy request from a farmer there is a new option to accept the request without adding that farmer to your own Buddy list
- Bugfix: More scenarios where pictures and names were not showing correctly in offline messages

5. Other Minor Improvements released in the past few weeks:

- All players can now set any of their farms as a quest farm without the requirement of owning any animal tools
- Bugfix: Some of the smaller Dozers not been able to delete or highlight certain items
- Bugfix: Some players using passwords containing the % character were having issues verifying their login credentials for the new farmtown.com website

Post Release Updates - April 27th, 8:00PM

- Bugfix: At 11:00AM today we introduced a bug that caused a significant % of users to lose most of their preferences in the game, these include the Shortcut selection, the settings in the Facility Manager filters, the selection of which Facilities and Products you want to start or not, the selection of which products you have selected for sell in the Market, and others.

If you open your Facility Manager and see too few Facilities, it's probably because the setting in the Facility Manager filter (funnel) is set to show Facilities in 'Current Farm' only, you need to change this setting to 'All Farms' to see all the facilities you own in the Facility Manager.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

- Buddy List screen Improvements (Round 2):

1. Added last activity date and level to each buddy

2. Buddies that are also neighbours will have a blue background

3. Added a blue neighbour icon to each buddy:

a) When the buddy is not your neighbour, you can click this icon to convert that buddy into a neighbour, that farmer will be removed from your buddies and added to your neighbours

b) When the buddy is also your neighbour, you can click this icon to delete that buddy from your neighbours

4. When you remove buddies or when you close and re-open the Buddy List screen, the scroll position is remembered

5. Added a Sorter icon to sort by: Avatar Name, Name, Online Status, Level, Last Active and Neighbour. Also, the sorting ignores non-alphanumeric characters, so it's more accurate.

6. Added stats at the top left showing total buddies and capacity used

7. If the Avatar Name is the same as the Name, then we only show one to reduce clutter

Post Release Updates - May 3rd, 1:00PM

- Bugfix: At 8:50AM today we introduced a new bug with a similar consequence to the bug introduced 6 days ago, a significant % of users lost most of their preferences in the game, a fix was released about an hour ago.

This is all related to the updates that must be completed before we are able to expand the neighbour and buddy capacity.

- Released 6 new Mothers Day items, 2 as gifts, 2 at the top of the Mothers Day category in the Store, and 2 at the bottom.

- Expanded Neighbours capacity by 33%. The Buddies capacity is now 3 times as much as before. You should be able to have about 500 neighbours and buddies combined.

This release has only changed how the buddy list looks when you view it.
You still don't earn a bonus chest when hired by a Buddy.

Are you using a saved link in your computer to load your farms? If so please load facebook and click in the game icon located in the left column.

Please let us know your id number and which farm you are having problems while plowing.

A big thanks to the devs, Marymarcel and Taz for all they due and putting up with us. I started playing on FB IN 2009 with Mafia Wars, Farmtown, Farmville, and Cafe World. Gave up playing everything and by 2011 it was and is the only one I play now. You all do a great job.

I do have the game icon in my facebook home page, that is the way I load the game in Facebook platform.
Don't you see it anymore?

If you are talking about the dark mode, it was implemented by Facebook not the game, and all users are getting it when Facebook update their servers.

It makes the game more unwieldly to navigate and I hate it - even if I collapse the page. Have tried everything to go back to playing the game without the darned page but have had no success. No you are not the only one. Facebook Gaming page and the darm mode are Facebook changes. Facebook has been rolling this out over a time period so not everyone is getting it yet, but eventually all will have it. One thing you can do to help is to click on the arrow in the upper right corner to collapse the game listing.

Im sorry but there is nothing the game can do about that. I got the dark mode and the new view about 4 months ago.

You can click in the little arrow in the upper right corner so you all games on the right side disappear and you get your farm screen only, but you have to do that in every tab you open.

Are they Facebook friends of yours that you do not have as neighbors? If so then you will want to accept those. When we get the release of the website then you will understand why. It is not hackers as long as you know they are your Facebook friends who are not your neighbors.

The website did not get released last night, some saw things that are no longer visible. Information will be provided when it's released, which hopefully will be sometime today..... if there are no more delays.

It will take us time to get the guides up dated which is normal when there has been an update or release.

Currently buddies do not get the bonus. You will have to wait and see what the developers decide on that. With the website you will not have friends as we have in Facebook. So on the website currently only strangers can get the bonus.

I just went to my farm on Facebook, and the shortcuts I assigned are gone. I ran a MEMCACHE and reloaded, but still not there. I had to re-assign them. It's the same on my other accounts also.

Also, the Facility Manager was all wonky ... had to fix that too.

We will have an eye on this in case that there is a problem.

Looks like my short cuts and fertilizing preferences are now back - even restarted my computer to see if they would still be there when I got back and there they were. Just loving the new site and any small inconveniences are certainly worth the improved speed, maneuverability and definition.

OK I am ever so confused. Since yesterday afternoon the settings for the shortcuts etc. and the watering cans have been totally up the creek. I think I've read a couple of postings saying it's been fixed, but I'm not sure if they relate to a previous bug or a current bug.

So, it's now 5pm ish here in the UK and everything is still back to factory settings, shall we say ,lol. What's happening , I don't mind waiting for it to be fixed, but I just want to know the current state of play. Thanks !

The latest posts are about the second fix which happened yesterday. The fix was to stop the constant resetting of them when you reloaded the game. You have to set them back to what you want them to yourself as the fix was only to stop the constant resetting of them to default every time you reloaded.

Cheers Taz, but I've just had another thought, the box at the bottom, where your neighbours are lined up, they aren't in the order the way they were, and the brown shortcut box next to it isn't as long as it was, and I have changed the shortcuts a couple of times, but it keeps going back again....so that's still to be fixed ?

Hi Peekachoo,
The neighbor order, shortcuts and facility manager settings were all affected by the changes they made to the preferences database. When the shortcuts are reset to default the the extra space for those won't show until you add shortcuts into that area again.
If it is still resetting then we will alert the developers to this again.

Please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen, reset some of your shortcuts and reload again. See if they stay then.

- If you keep your browser open or you have enabled the 'Continue where you left off' option in your browser, you will remain logged in to the website for up to a week, so when you reload the game during this period you won't have to enter email and password. If you use the Farmtown website in a public computer, just remember to click the Logout button at the top right when you are done playing.

- Hide duplicated facility posts in 'My Request' tab 'Facility Wall Requests' section.

Thanks for the update ...no known issues, how about checking your support line with issues on the use of the green manure spreader and purple irrigation tool and the multiple use of irrigating and fertilising farms as i have reported!

When you pick up either of those tools then click on a farm, in the window that opens to show all your farms, try clicking on the tab at the top that says Select Multiple Farms and then you should see the check boxes also appear that allow you to select the farms you want to fertilise or irrigate/water so you can do more than one at a time. The tabs are not turning orange to show you which one is selected (Select One Farm or Select Multiple Farms). That has been sent off.

Raul only posted about the browser setting in the New Farmtown Website thread as many farmers complained for log in the website everytime they closed their browser. So his post was only for the Website release.

The duplicate posts is affecting both versions, Facebook and Website so it was posted in both releases.

So you will only see one set of posts for each of your neighbors, buddies or friends as the additional previous posts are being deleted.

There aren't any pop ups in the game that say search that we know of. What are you clicking on that you are getting that? Can you take a picture of it?

Good morning, I did an update on my pc a couple of days ago and I'm running windows 11 and so many things on it I am aware of yet. I did dome research on this "search box" and now it's gone. Sorry everyone, its wasn't Farmtown but it was me.

The NEW Log Truck w/ Chainsaw (44x44) is for sale in the Store, but it doesn't work yet. Was it supposed to be released before the next update? There is no info for it in the GAME GUIDE yet and it does not show in the Toolbox Area. We should not have been able to purchase it until it is rolled out officially.

The My Requests changes are fabulous! Instead of scrolling through FB only to find a bunch of expired facility service requests or ingredients I can find all my neighbors stuff in one convenient spot. Thanks so much for this change.
