New Farmtown Website Released!

Perhaps I'm blind but when I go to the website, under the My Requests tab, I'm not seeing the option for this feature released on May 4th under either of the Show Facility Wall Requests or the Other Wall request sections. cleared everything out logged out, closed browser and reopened it and then logged back in and no change.

This is done for you automatically. There isn't an option for you to change this. When you go through the Facility Wall Requests, you will only see 1 post for each type (regular and service facilities) for each person. If you go down the list any older posts from those same people have been deleted. Only the latest posts they have made will show.

Will we be able to sell items to buddies on the co-op quest? We can do it for non-neighbours but we have to be facebook friends first. Now that we don't need to be facebook friends can it change a little so we can sell items for co-op to our buddies as well as neighbours. It would help them too. And for co-ops can you put the buddies and neighbours together as then we don't have to check between the 2

We have sent this to the developers but we have to wait for them to fix the issue.

Please remember you can work your own farms without problems and also work as super neighbor while we wait for the fix.

It will not reset the previous settings unfortunately but should stop it from changing back to the defaults after you have changed anything.

If you run the memcache, reload your farms, then change one or two shortcuts, then reload again to make sure it doesn't remove those and it still resets to defaults tomorrow let us know and we will send your ID to the developers to check on it.

I'm pleased to report that after 3 weeks of resetting preferences on my facilities, they have finally stayed the way I set them. :cool:

I moved your post to the thread about the website.
We do not have any information yet from the developers on how new players will be able to join Farm Town through the website yet.
Friend is a Facebook item and not for the website. You can only make someone a friend through Facebook.

If you ended up at the login again for the forums it means you timed out for your time in the forums andhad to login again to continue.

The issue we had was when you were for example working as superneighbor and you sent trains boosts requests to your friends.
It was not when you boosted a train from one of your friends.

But if you want to be sure, try to contact your friend and told them about the expired train. Maybe they had sent more boosts thant the ones allowed.

I just loaded the farms from links posted on the forum and didnt get that message.

If you click in a farm link from facebook, then the game will load in facebook not in the website.
On the other hand, if you click in a farm link from the website, the farm will load there.

There are instructions on how to get the farm link either for Facebook or the Website in the following link:

It would be nice to see some direction of where gift giving is headed. It seems like most people have moved exclusively to playing on the website and not going to FB to send gifts. I start on FB and send gifts to friends before heading to the website. I'm not getting nearly as many gifts as I was before the website.

i agree I play on the fb site first and then change to web site after I do gifting but then later g back as i can send out gifts every 2 hours ... so it is back and forth i do wish the game was on one place.

The groups are not associated or owned by Slashkey. What Facebook does for those we do not know as they don't tell us anything. That is up to Facebook but I can't see any reason why they would shut those down. They have never done so when they have deactivated the game in the past.

No they won't because Slashkey will no longer have access to that information. That is why they increased the neighbors and buddies limits, so you could add more of your friends who play.

- Released the Gift Manager, this is an update to the current Gift box and will allow you to send and accept gifts from inside the main game, no need to navigate to the Send Gifts or My Requests tab. It will show 3 tabs:

Send Gifts tab: This section will allow you to send a gift to multiple farmers, several filters and sorting options are available to make the process faster

My Gifts tab: This will be the same as the current Gift box, it shows all the gifts that you have accepted but haven't used/stored yet

Pending Gifts tab: This section will show all the pending gifts that farmers have sent you but you haven't accepted yet, it will contain all the options currently available in Farmtown Facebook My Request tab

Note: The gifting activity in Farmtown Facebook app will be separate from Farmtown Website app, meaning, the gifts you send using Farmtown Facebook could only be accepted by farmers using Farmtown Facebook. Gifts you send using Farmtown Website could only be accepted by farmers using Farmtown Website.

Note 2: You can accept gifts using the My Request tab in Farmtown Website, however, sending gifts back can only be done inside the main game using the Gift Manager.

- In the farmtown.com website, when selecting friends to send gifts or train boost requests, there are now 3 sorting options:

1. Selected Stay in Place -> selected farmers remains in the same spot
2. Selected Move to Top -> selected farmers are automatically moved to the top of the list
3. Selected Move to Bottom -> selected farmers are automatically moved to the bottom of the list

If you don't want to select specific farmers as the recipients of your gift, it will probably be faster for you to use the default option 'Selected Move to Bottom', this way you just continue clicking on the same spot until you have selected the amount of farmers you want.

- Gift Manager bugfixes and improvements:

a) New 'Select ##' button in the Select Friends screen to select up to 50 farmers at once when sending gifts or train boosts

b) Bugfix: When using the Store Ingredients/Animals/Plants button in the Gift Manager, the stored gifts were not removed from the screen

c) Bugfix: If you have multiple pending gifts from the same farmer and that farmer is not your neighbour or buddy, if you click the Manage button under the picture and add the farmer to your neighbours or buddies, the Manage button remains on the screen until you close and re-open the Gift Manager

d) Bugfix: If you have farm pass goals to send or accept gifts, you will have to reload the game after sending or accepting gifts in the Gift Manager for farm pass goals to update

e) Bugfix: Pending gift count sometimes not fitting in the red circle

Note: In order to save storage space in our servers, pending gifts that are not accepted in a 60 day timeframe will be removed automatically.

We have questioned the developers about that. It may have something to do with shared code in the program and may not have been something intentional.

On the website there is no posting box to post to Facebook as the game will no longer be there..

When you post them you will only see the popup asking if you want to request them to be worked and then a brief notification that says Request Sent.

You need to log into your Facebook account and then load your farms there.

Then you should get the window to be able to register in the website. There is no way to do the registration directly in the website.

Im not sure if they could do anything for you but you should contact Support. If you wish you can contact Support. To contact them click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Please include all details about your problem so you can get help faster. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

You will receive an automatic response email when you submit your ticket. That email will have your ticket number and a link for you to check the status of your ticket, so please do not delete that email. If you do not see the email then check your spam folder as sometimes those emails get classified as spam.

Creating new accounts on the website has not been implemented at this time, keep an eye on any release updates for when additional information is added.
