The Farm Pass 2 contest will be released on February 15th and will behave very similar to the regular Farm Pass, see below the main differences:

1. It will start the 15th of every month and will last until the 15th of the next month

2. It will not have any "Get Hired", Trains or Ships goals

3. It will have the following 9 new goals:

- Hire farmers at the Job Marketplace to work on N items
(Progress is recorded when the Job Completion Bonus is claimed)
(each plow field, crop, tree fruit, tree log, flower and fish count as 1)

- Buy online N regular products at the Trade Marketplace
(trade directly with an avatar, not using the Trading Warehouse)

- Buy online N super-facility products at the Trade Marketplace
(trade directly with an avatar, not using the Trading Warehouse)

- Sell online N regular products at the Trade Marketplace
(make a profit on each trade, the markup % should be greater than 0)
(trade directly with an avatar, not using the Trading Warehouse)

- Sell online N super-facility products at the Trade Marketplace
(make a profit on each trade, the markup % should be greater than 0)
(trade directly with an avatar, not using the Trading Warehouse)

- Buy from other farmers N times in Your trading warehouse

- Buy from other farmers N times when visiting Their trading warehouses

- When using irrigators plants will grow 3 times faster instead of 2 times

- Duplicate online trading buying limit *AND* reduce buying period length by half, from 12 to 6 hours
(soon you will be able to check your own buying limit in the Time Manager tool when mouse over the "Buy Products from Others" option)

- Reduce request ingredient period length, from 12 to 8 hours

- Finish an ongoing facility quest step 2 times each week

- Add an extra help note in your co-op quests 2 times each week

- Use most of the tools in your toolbox that you don't own for the next 6 hours
(the exceptions are the manure spreader, mobile sprinklers, and any tool in the first 2 columns from the left)

You can participate in both Farm Pass at the same time. If you claim the same reward on both Farm Passes its benefit will be combined, for example, if you claim the "Increase ships output by 10%" reward in Farm Pass 1 and then claim that same reward in Farm Pass 2, this will increase your ships output by 20%.

By default, when you open a Farm Pass screen and go to the 'Privileges' tab, you will see only the privileges that you have claimed on that particular Farm Pass. If you want to see all your combined privileges from both Farm Passes at the same time, click the dropdown list at the top right and select 'Combined Privileges'.

Post Release Updates - February 15th, 1:00AM

- When you open any Farm Pass screen, we will show a fresh updated information for goals related to gifts, ingredient packs, bonuses and trading warehouse, no need to reload the game anymore

- Check your own online trading buying limit in the Time Manager tool when mouse over the "Buy Products from Others" option

Post Release Updates - February 19th, 9:00PM

- Bugfix: Players not receiving Farm Cash sent by others when claiming the 'Gift Farm Cash To Helpers' Farm Pass reward.

Post Release Updates - February 24th, 11:50PM

- You can now use the Farm Pass 2 reward 'Revive Wasted Crops' when visiting or working for other farmers, just click on their visitor tool box icon at the bottom left and then click the new 'Revive Crops' icon.

Post Release Updates - February 28th, 1:10AM

- Bugfix: When both Non-Workable facility privileges in Farm Pass 1 and 2 are claimed at about the same time, they were both consumed by a single facility worker, so your Non-Workable faciliies ended up being worked only 1 time instead of 2.

Post Release Updates - March 7th, 10:10PM

- Released 13 new St. Patrick's decorations, 3 as gifts, 6 at the top of the St. Patrick's category at the store, and 4 at the bottom.

IMPORTANT: Farm Pass 2 requires you to trade.
You will need to use the Super Facility tool in your tool box to Upgrade a current facility to become a Super Facility for the week.

Just like Farm Pass 1 there will be a row of free rewards and a row of rewards for those who want to pay.

Many people accumulate the max pts in FP by mid month and are wanting more. So a second farm pass season starting in the middle of the month gives us something to work for.

Even if you only do a few of the tasks in FP1 and/or FP2 you can earn rewards for things you were doing anyway.

It does not cost you double, the Australian dollar has a different value to the US$ when you exchange one for the other, you'll find they are the same amount. Your $8.24 is the same as $4.99US which is £3.96 in UK pounds.

Did you sell the items directly to someone or did you put them in you trading warehouse? Your goal says to sell directly with an avatar, not using trading warehouse. Also they have to be super facility products not regular products.

You do not purchase a super facility. You already have a super facility that you created today. It is the paper mill. You need to start products in your paper mill facilties. That will give you products that you can then add to your trading warehouse. All this is explained in the Game Guide chapter 13 about facilities:

I am totally flummoxed by the whole trading warehouse thing. I never used the super facilities - they weren't worth it to me - and then were impossible to reset. I have scoured the forum, read, asked advice in the marketplace and tried to find more to read, and I still just don't get it. I play to relax, and this is too complex for my 70-year-old brain - no fun. Wish this wasn't the emphasis of the second farmpass as from now on I doubt I will fork out for it. You can sell directly to anyone in the trading market, preferably to someone who has the light green on their avatar as that means they are buying. You click on their avatar and choose to sell products in the menu. The Super Facility products are at the bottom of the drop down list for choosing what type of product you want to sell. You do not have to put them in the trading warehouse to do this.

Your previous post you said that the pop up told you to set up to buy products, so that was what I was giving you information.
If it is now telling you that you need to set up for Selling that is different. For those tabs you need to first have a Super Facility set up and be making products in those facilities (when you start them in the facility manager) in order to set up and selling of those products.

The Super Facility changes at your midnight on Monday, so it has probably changed and you will need to Update to get one again.

I have been setting up everything with a 10% markup everywhere, and I double-check it as I go, including when I click on the avatars and then create the sell products offer. Everything looks like it checks out.

Yes, I sold Super Facilities to those two. The 6384 sold is from a few days ago which were successful in adding in the credits. Selling Super Facilities products yesterday and today has not resulted in credits to the goal. The products sell successfully, but no credits go to the goal.

this time, when I went to the Trading Marketplace to sell for ParmPass2, I checked and the sale offer using Super Facilities products WAS set to 10% above mkt...BUT...

You can not sellect a specific amount. If it is a super facility product, you have to sell all you have of that product. If it is a regular product you are selling then you have amounts set at certain percentages of their total buying ability.

According to your data, you have sold 6 times to other avatars, all of which have a markup as free. The things you have sold that have been marked up to make a profit were in the trading warehouse.

It is the ones you sell to other avatars that need to be marked up. Not the ones in the trade warehouse.

Correct, it must be a regular product and must be marked up to at least 10% and sold directly to an avatar without using the trade warehouse.

No there isn't anyway to see both farm passes at the same time. However, if you want to see the combined privilegesfor both then there is a dropdown where you can select that in the Privileges tab that youy can choose to see both of those combined.

You have to sell directly Avatar to Avatar for both of those. without using the trade warehouse. Hover your mouse over the goal for all the information, check to see if you have to markup any of the items by 10% or more to make a profit.

If the privilege says 2/2 then 2 different neighbors got them.It may be that both didn't show in the Activity log for some reason.


For the revive to work on another farmer's it may be that you need to be their super neighbor and have the plant privilege in that. We don't have specifics on that. When you are hire by others as in the market you can't plant for them.

If i am there to sell all the wear house gives me buy stuff for the most part, out of say 15 to 20 farmers i might get 2 sells the rest are either buys or they have nothing. if i am there to buy all i get is sells. this seems to happen all the time its like the game knows i need to sell so all i get is offers to buy or vice versa. As this is new everyone is trying to make the same sales or buys as you are so more of them are taken before you get to them. It is not the game itself limiting what is available.

I usually finish Farm Pass 1 in two weeks or so, so I was so excited for FP2. Not anymore. Sitting in the market place for an hour is no fun. I hope it improves soon. I definitely won't be spending any money on it again as it is now.

I'm new to the whole trading thing, never bothered with it before, but so far I seem to be doing ok, until today!
I have a DAILY quest that requires me to sell over 500 SF products direct, not using trading warehouse, it only allows me to sell 18 at a time, so....Am I right in assuming that I have stand there and sell direct to individual avatars 30 times to meet my goal? And hope that they accept my offer, which also has to be at mark up price? Isn't that a bit much to ask for only 4 points?

It all depends on what SF you have at the time and how much you start in that facility as to how fast you can meet the goal. In this case it might be best to wait a while and let your neighbors work the facility to be able to get a larger amount to sell at one time rather than the smaller amounts.

I think it would help if every time we come to the trade market place we got different people to buy and sell to. i leave after getting all i can from the ones there which is most 3 or 4 sales or buys and come back to the same useless people, i need new people when i come back

There isn't anyway to make sure you get a different group of people in the trading market as well as the job market.

Yes, I got it start your facilities in the facility manager and the rest will follow
But it doesn't follow on my end as it doesn't work. Also when I go to sell something to an avatar that is at the limit it provides a time when the person can purchase again. Try and sell to another same amount of time So I clicked on each avatar and ALL of them had the same amount of time. So clearly something is not working.

Hi Nettie,
Try clearing your memcache (link at the bottom of your farms page), then restart your farms and see if those times clear. This has been reported to developers but it is intermitent when this happens, so difficult to find.

- You can now use the Farm Pass 2 reward 'Revive Wasted Crops' when visiting or working for other farmers, just click on their visitor tool box icon at the bottom left and then click the new 'Revive Crops' icon.

For some months now, I've had to refresh the game for the seasonal goals to show up. I now just make it a habit if I am farming close to the new week start to go to the My Neighbors tab or somewhere else until it's time for the new tasks. I have a neighbor that has to do this as well.

They are not going to update if you already have it open at the time they are added. Not everything updates immediately when they change and requires something else to be done to trigger the updating even as simple as changing farms.

I did a little experiment tonight and didn't go to another page just before 11 pm (my time). FP1 showed the new seasonal tasks. FP2 did not. I really didn't expect either to show as I figured that I would need to reload the game. That's what JNelson was talking about, that while the daily tasks will update automatically when the new FT day starts while we are playing the seasonal tasks generally need us to reload. It's not a big deal to me. I like to reload every so often during the day any way.

I did see that on the Farm Pass 2, but Farm Pass 1 did open right. Yes you should restart your farms once in a while just to make sure everything gets updated. I am on most of the day and evening, but do close when I am off the computer for a while.

Last night when i loaded factories some of my non workable factories load at over 100% " mineral mine, open pit mine , oil pump, semi truck". I look at the farm pass 2 to see if i had clicked on a reward that would do that and did not see one. so is this a mess up in the game.

This would not be just Farm Pass 2. There are rewards in the Farm Pass 1 that would also cause this at the changeover to a new month for it. So if you had those rewards for February, then when we changed last night to the March Farm Pass 1 those additional amounts would show as over 100%.

You need to start products in the Rubber factory to be able to put them in the Trading Warehouse or to sell them directly to other avatar.

If you want to put them in the Trading warehouse, open it and click in the previous super facility product to be able to change to the new one.

I enjoy doing the Farm Pass but the Farm Pass 2 with all the trading for super products or other items are too much of an headache. It's not very clear how some of the trading works and even though I have read through the Guide I am still confused on how this is suppose to work. I have been trying to help my neighbours buy selling them regular products but they tell me this doesn't work for them. Does this mean we are not able to help our neighbours by selling and buying reg products to/from them? Does it has to be strangers and does the transaction have to be done at the market? It's bad enough trying to get people to take stuff for free at the market in the super trading warehouse before the FP2 started, unless it's a premium item. Having to stand around in the market for ages, waiting, trying to push goods on to someone to make a profit is a nightmare not to mention time consuming and boring!

To answer thee questions you asked, the trading goals do not have to be with a stranger, but they must be done in the trading market. You can always arrange to meet a neighbor in the trading market to buy and sell.
