Default How to Search for a Missing Item

How to Search for a Missing Item

  • This is your preferences icon which you will find top right of your game screen. Click on it and it will open your Preferences window.

Make sure there is a check mark in the box for ALL of the Items in the red boxes in the picture below AND Show Farm Cash Items AND Show Coin Items.

If a check mark is not in the box for each of those preferences, add them, then click on the green check mark at the bottom of the Preferences window to save the change.

  • This is the search tool which you can find in your Toolbox. Click on the Search tool and type in the name of the item you are looking for.
You also have two options in that window to "Highlight matching items" OR to "Hide non-matching items". (The latter is going to be easier for you if you have a lot of items on the farm.). Then click the green check mark.

All matching items for your search should then be showing, either highlighted or the only things showing on your farm, depending on your choice. When you are done, click on "Show Items" bottom right of your game screen and the rest of your items will be shown again.

  • Also check your Item Storage and see if it is in there. Click on the Storage Icon and click on the Items tab. You can use the drop down filter to search your storage by different types.

  • If none of the above help, try clearing your Browser Cache then reload the game and check again for the missing items.

When you have done that, the first time you load your farm it will load slightly slower as all the graphics need some time have to be reloaded.

There are a considerable amount of different Items in Farm Town today than there were in the early days and farm sizes are considerable bigger as well so if you have a huge farm to load with a lot on it, it will be slower to load than a much smaller farm with far less on it.
