Am I reading this right? You can only use things in the store and/or gifts that are now being shown. You cannot, say for instance, use a mom with child from Mother's Day or butterflies from I believe Easter or any people that were sold in the store for holidays or decorations also? I moved your post to the thread about contest help to better answer you. There isn't a contest open currently that you can enter. New contest will be open soon.
The way you do this is when you enter your picture then make and paste in a link to that specific farm. How to do that are in the following link:

I would like to share how I make sure I have posted my farm correctly before I submit it.
Below your post you will see 2 options.
."Post a quick reply"
"Go to Advance"

I click on "Go to Advance" Once I am there there are two options:
"Submit Reply"
"Preview Post"
Click on the "Preview Post"
If my farm picture is there I know I am ready to post my farm. If not I go back and correct my errors.

You can use any items you want, but some Halloween items must be included into your design. Perhaps you can do your design using other items, but some of the Halloween ones must be included into some of the designs or to complete the general view of your farm.:)

First thing, welcome to the Forum and to the Contests:)

We do not add a farm to Novice or Advanced lists because of the farmer level or if this is the first time they enter the competition.

We decide the category based in some specific things, for example the design techniques the farmer use in their farms. :)

Please remember that your photo must be set to Public in your facebook profile or it could disappear from your post in the forum.

To set the photo to Public, please open your Farm town album, and click in your photo.
You will see the photo and on the right you will see your name and the date, besides the date you can see who are able to see that photo. Click there and set it to Public.

Yes it is allowed as long as it is the only account you enter from. Be sure you add the link directly to that farm you enter. Good luck with your entry.

I have just fixed your photo in your post

The link you are providing it is not good for that farm. Please open you tool box and click in Farm selector Manager. You will see the names of all your farms.
Click in Copy link button and then click in the name of the farm you are entering for the contest.

Come back here and paste that link in a post so I will be able to add it to your post for the contest.

With the various changes Facebook has made it is not possible to set the album to public. Some years ago when you took a photo it was inmediately set to Public, but since a few years, you choose the settings for every photo you take.

Dont worry, I will check your entry as soon as I can. The only thing I need is the link to that farm.

I'm sorry but no, you can't. All entries must be on your own farms, designed and created by you. You cannot design a farm on someone else's farms and then enter it in the contest.

Mary is not available right now, but I will answer you. By hidden we mean that you haven't hidden them in your preferences when you take the picture. You can hide things behind other items on the farm.

Just want to say that I went to my farm that i entered in the contest and someone has water my flowers, they need to be dead, its the flowers in the sky, i did not make changes to the design, its different because they were watered, hopefully they will be dead when the contest closes, just wanted to know if my entry was going to be removed because they were watered?

We have set this forum to not be edited by the farmers, only a moderator is allowed to do this.

About the link, no there is not any glitch with it, the link you posted for the farm was leading me to another farm, so I corrected it.:)

No, avatar does not have to do that, since decorations where changed to different layers, that's not always possible anymore.

You are getting double http in your link. That happens because when you click in the image icon to paste the link, you are clicking left first and then right to paste.

I have just fixed your photo for you.

When you want to answer the private message just click in Reply button inside the message.:)

The problem about picture not showing up in your post is because you are getting double http in your link. That happens because when you click in the image icon to paste the link, you are clicking left first and then right to paste.
You only need to right click and paste.

Sorry for the delay to answer you but I had internet problems.

Your farm link was added to your post.

You see your farm is not linked because you dont have a permanent link in your signature, but we dont need it when you post for a competition, we only need the link to the farm you are entering.

And about your farm, we cant visit it as it is set to Private. Please click in the farm name and remove the tick for Make this a Private farm. Thank you:)

You can use items you most like to design your picture. As it is stated, you can use any items from the Store, Gifts or your Storage.:)

So I dont see any problem if your friend wants to enter the farm for this month competition.

The only rules there are, are the ones we set for each month for each contest and those are posted in the top post for each month. It is entirely up to you if you wish to do a regular design, a picture farm, design stairs or buildings out of items from the store.
