I have a full and busy life; don't need to hang out and chat in rooms with folks who do not. I DO NOT like the new change that came about...but found a happy reward for ti since the slow/lag time forced me to it. I/we play the game and enjoy it. Have Farmville going but prefer Farmtown because we can interfacew ith humans. It is a game, but with human parameters. Thanks for the advice, but I prefer to live my own life within the social norms comfortable for me and my family. Real life and climbing the "ladder" have enough pressure =)

You can still go very fast, if you go from left to right and then from right back to left; top to bottom and then from bottom back to top. You can still click very fast as if you're playing Nintendo or any other video games.

If you go line by line as I have described it, how fast you go is controlled by yourself. I'm faster than anyone because I'm used to playing games, your finger has to go clicking fast on the mouse if you want to go fast.

You can't just go randomly click on any fields anymore, otherwise your avatar will go around in circles and doesn't know where it should go next. Just follow straight lines in the manner that I have described above. I had done several farms after the upgrades and I have never been happier.

THIS IS FANTASTIC IF YOU FOLLOW STRAIGHT LINES!!!!!!

left to right, and then from right back to left and then back to right ...and so on.

top to bottom, and then from bottom to top, and then back to the bottom...and so on..

You will find you're actually so much faster, if your finger can click fast, then this upgrade is your cup of tea!!

To the developers - thanks for all you do. Been there. Done that.
The problem with your post is that none of us are claiming to be able to do any of that, but the developers of the game are. This app has more glitches than ANY I've ever seen and it's largely due to the fact that they don't fix what's already wrong before they start implementing new things. The fact that they didn't stop and fix the problem with the XP/coin issue back when it first began (and before players started posting thousands of pages about it) is now biting them, because as stated, in the original post, the new changes we're now seeing are a result of those XP/coins issues. I've been making this point for the longest time now (fix what's wrong first), but, clearly, it's fallen on deaf ears. Apparently, there's better logic at work, though I've yet to see it's results.

compared to how fast most people could click before this way isn't even close, i agree its faster, but not even close to before.

Very true. It's been one day and I only do high end harvests where I use to help anyone, I don't plow for anyone any more because it's just not worth the time involved. Such a shame.

you MUST be level 1... because this game used to be FUN!!!!! why waste the time rewriting all those lines of code, web-based apps, etc., if what you're doing makes the game CRAPPY and a useless waste?!? hope they saved the old code... because this new code is doodoo. and I mean that in the nicest possible way. :-)

exactly, thats why a nice little unwind with this game a few minutes at a time was nice. the new style takes too long. more and more people will go to multiple day crops, and it will lose its daily fun.

I started playing FarmTown about 3 wks ago, I truly appreciated the game and the fun it gave. I also found friends from the past that I have not heard from in over 20 years.
That's part of the fun of Farm Town meeting people and playing the game. The new harvest and plowing rules has taken the fun out of the game. It is so slow that you doing nothing but wait around. Can't even talk to other people. You have truly ruined the game. It's take me less time to farm my real farm of 20 acres than I can do one farm on the game. It truly got boring, wasting time of the user. I work hard and I play hard. To bad some people can't work as fast as other. I try to hire 1 neighbor or friend to do my farm. Now I have to have min, 2 harvester and 2 plowers to accomplish what one could do. By hiring one neighbor or friend you could help the people that you asked to play the game. My neighbors and friends are no longer playing. They are off line. Don't want the hassel of time lost or wasted. Very depressing. Listen to the maket talk, people don't even want to work anymore. I lost xp and coins, but I am level 37 and over 3.5 million. Didn't hurt me as much as the new change. Lost a whole crop becuase hard to find harvesters. You truly have made other games more acceptable, by this change. Slow people just have to get faster or they have to go somewhee else. The proper change for this soultion is to change the hiring process, limit hires to only 1 or 2, then the problem would go away. I had no problem with many workers, I just stayed away from them, if that didn't work I left and went elsewhere. I play this game till all hours of the night and now I don't have the desire to play. Raul YOU RUINED IT. MAKE THE CHANGES BACK TO WHERE THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AND LETS FORGET ABOUT THE MINOR ASPECTS OF LOST XP AND COINS, THEY MAKE ENOUGH ANYWAY. I will continue to play for a few days and see what the outcome of this new change is. If it stays the same I WILL QUIT AND FIND ANOTHER GAME!! And as the saying goes That,s no Bull.
