Try clearing your cache, restarting your farm, and clearing your memcache using the following link:

i went to the link and i got a long list of things but it did'ent tell me how to get rid of it. can anyone help please.

There is nothing for you to do, when you saw that list, it was clearing the memcache and after the (F) reappeared on your browser tab then it was done clearing the memcache, which usually only takes like 1 or 2 seconds.
