i noticed what is happening. i go on my husbands account to hire my person to work threw ei and firefox one day i finished up on my end and went to return to his to hire myself to plow while i was done on my end everything clicked and waiting for my avatar on his screen everything was still there un harvested untill my dude got to it. so even tho we did the work others see it as there and if there guy/gal gets there first they get it no matter who clicked it first really annoying but the second i see allready dont i leave no need to waste time there

Very much dislike the hyper avatar - always in the way. The 'Already Done' is wrong and is putting so many people off playing this game. Finding plots that you have plowed/harvested being redone by someone else (and thenthey get the XP and coins) is SO annoying- especially if you have waited for some time for the counters to register.
Please will you 'unfix' the Dec22 update asap.
Maybe less items like festive pigs and dogs(!) and piles of gifts (only worth 18 coins when sold). More items like fences and walls etc that fit the square format/spaces without leaving gaps that have to be filled by sacks or hay bales would be brilliant.
And I now have a plot on my farm that that shows a 'queing' 0% that does not clear. I cannot delete it, nor bulldoze it - it is still there despite several reboots. It is not layered - or not intentionally so.
Hope these things can be sorted.

I like the speed at which the XP and coins accumulate, but I have to agree that the hyper avatar is both disconcerting (when you are trying to concentrate on the square that you are harvesting or plowing), and indeed is always in the way.


That said, my original suggestion was to: completely disable the "Avatar walk", and simply mark the plot with its "harvested" or "plowed" symbol at the same moment that the XP and/or coins are changed.


A correlary suggestion, which I don't recall if I mentioned before, is to not have to be hired twice to plow just to get rid of the plow square symbol, which is yet another annoyance to fast plowing action.

The point here is to minimize graphical distractions (the Avatar walk and the plowing symbol) as much as possible.

This will start an immediate thread of "then how do I know that *I* got the plot as opposed to another farmer" ... so to preclude that discussion, I offer the following suggestion:

Instead of every plot that is harvested or plowed appearing in shades of light to dark brown, change the color shading FOR THOSE PLOTS THAT *I* HAVE HARVESTED OR PLOWED so they are shades of a different color, such as blues or greens ... they will clearly stand out against other harvesters and plowers and also show instantly what *I* have won versus what someone else has won.


I think this combination of suggestions will not only make speed harvesting and plowing easier, but will also give both users and developers a better feel for who is getting credit for what, particularly in a user-forwarded screen shot.

I'm having the same problem. Just hired to a farm to complete a plow job. Almost all of it said "already done". Don't want to wait around for nothing but don't want to leave and lose xp.

Thank you for the best game on the internet! I love this game and play it most every day. I uninstalled and rebooted my computer and reinstalled flashplayer though I didn't have any problems. Seems to work better and faster.
I've been playing this game since february of 2009.

hi i dont like the new upgrade when i harvest or plow fine no problem if i am harvesting plowing by myslef but when others are hired as well they over harvest me and plow me. i lose my coins when harvesting and xp when plowing. because it says already done

This new update is a complete pain.All i get is already done when i get hired or if im lucky enough to get hired on my own it takes an absolute age to get off the farm again waiting for the coins to scroll up.Its taking longer to leave than to do the work,so were not saving any time at all,in fact the whole process is taking far longer than ever.I love farmtown but must admit since the update have spent more time on the other farm game(not mentioning any names) than here as they have by far fewer glitches and issues than here and much better items to buy and send as gifts.Although i prefer farmtown i really hate this new change,it worked fine before so please restore it.

tHE ONLY RESPONSE i SEE TO OUR PROBLEMS AND COMPLAINTS IS THAT THE SEED BAGS AND SCYTHE ARE SMALLER. SO "DEVELOPERS" IS THAT THE ONLY THING THAT GOING TO BE REPAIRED?
