Interesting to hear from a Linux user. I'm a Mac user and computer consultant and my friend who is the local Mac dealer and grew up with computers (and is a genuine guru), swears than Linux is the best operating system from a technical point of view. I have a friend who is a computer technician and consultant in South Africa who also has good things to say about Linux despite the fact most of her customers are PC users, so she works primarily with Windows computers -- and has a few less than complimentary things to say about Microsoft systems (with which I often agree).
How does Linux work out for doing FT and other online games in general?

I bought alot of llamas and sheep in order to use the new textile facility and also, got gifted mulberry trees. Now the main farm where I keep trees and animals is lagging alot and when I hired people to do the trees I think they had trouble loading, as one, never moved once arriving and finally poofed and another said it froze on her and she didn't do much and also disappeared. The facilities are great, but they need a solution for the animals and loading.

Your answer is in your first sentence.Animals en masse slow the application down enormously, are you using IE because it is not particularly good to game on.

I have also gotten the request for my contacts but have not been denied access to sending when I tell it to skip.

I am now getting this pop-up and like you click on skip and wait for the next step of sending the gifts to happen. I have noticed that all of a sudden, I am not getting as many gifts. I would suggest that this pop-up is confusing a lot of people with the page being closed down before the gifts are sent.

Thanks for responding. I believe the animals and the trees cause lag, but I don't know what to do about it. If they could make it possible to put animals in the buildings, perhaps that would help. However, I don't get much wool from my animals as it takes 2 days to harvest them, but don't feel buying more would be wise. It just isn't very practical.

well the one given is that you cannot move the animals so how about moving the trees to another farm, straight after harvest of course, and seeing if that makes a difference, only the wool shed must be on the farm with the animals
Can you pack the animals into the 4 corners to spread the load and freeze them?I notice when harvesting on other's farms it is hardest beside the packed animals.

Since it is painfully apparent that no amount of pleading is going to get us to the point where the animals can either be moved from one farm to another or put into the buildings I would like to know from an "official" source the real reason why. How about it devs - the least you can do is tell us the reason.

I am not nor do I think a large chunk of us are technically challenged. If the reason is too complicated for some mortals to understand I'm sure that some of us can translate it down to a simple statement.

Take up the challenge and give us an explanation. I'm throwing down the gauntlet which of you devs is going to pick it up?

I found your farm did load quickly for me but then I do freeze animals so that they are not wondering about. It will vary though with visitors, depending on their computer and internet speed or even if they freeze animals. Don't give up because there are many that can harvest for you. I have quite a few animals on my 2nd farm with all the facilities and no complaints....or perhaps they don't dare! lol

PS.... I use Firefox and found for me, it is the best for my applications.
