I remember general shut downs for maintenance/repair for FT. I believe there were issues with some crops withering while it was closed...and of course people frustrated when they could not get in to play right away. There was a note that it was closed so we would know what was happening.

the future of this game is alot more stable then that of any zynga game. they've shut down 11 in the last few months and have way more problems then farmtown does or ever did.

Yes, I remember notification of maintenance. I love Farmtown and wouldn't leave but I do get a bit fed up with glitches etc.
