Hey there,

We have launched a few new facilities recently:

Pizza Restaurant: Produces Cheese Pizza, Mushroom Pizza and Onion Pizza from flour, cheese, tomatoes and other vegetals

Juice Factory: Produces Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Grape Juice and Pineapple Juice from the corresponding fruit in your storage

Bakery: Produce Apple Pie, Cherry Pie, Cheese Cake, Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Cookies from flour, sugar, chocolate liquor, butter and hen eggs in your storage

Chocolate Factory: produce Chocolate Liquor from the Cocoas in your storage (to be used as an ingredient for other products)

Please provide feedback and suggestions.

Thanks

Well if I want to make pies from the bakery, don't I need to make milk from a dairy barn, sugar from the refinery and how do I make flour? Is that more than I facility??

I love the new facilities and have bought them all but I'm running out of room on my farm. I hope we get a third farm soon. I know some will be upset by two of the facilities being for farm cash but I'm not, I know you all need to make money. Also farm town has less premium items then any other game I play. Especially compared to farm ville which some people think is so much better then this game. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_20_4.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSfox000) I don't I have played several farm games on FB and Farm town by far is the best one out there. Thank you for all the updates now I just need to plant the right crops to use in the facilities.

So many new things, so little housework getting done.

Can't wait for the 3rd farm and a place to put everything.

I love playing this game.

Yes, 3 facilities, Dairy, Sugar and the cute little red windmill makes the flour! I've been experimenting for 3 days now and it's fun. Neighbors can help speed up processing and gain xp and coins ;)

I refueled my harvester on facebook farmtown I had 69 more fuel tanks left. Later when I went back to get a cow in gift bin all my fuel was gone. How do I get it back? Why did it disappear in the first place?

When you refuel it takes all the fuel out of your gift box and uses it. If you only want to use one at a time only accept one gift and leave the rest on FB.

the question I have is how do you put the chicken in the chicken coop, seems like no one has the answer.

Animals do not go inside the buildings they only have to be on the same farm as the building. Read the first post in this thread it explains all about harvesting animals.

ok, we have 2 farms & to have all the facilities & to grow all the crops/trees, we will need more land or another farm. Is this something that is going to happen soon I hope??? IS THERE A GOOD CHANCE THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE??

Developers, you all are the coolest!! I love the new facilities, and have just built a bakery!!

The thing is, How am I EVER going to grow any more crops with all these very cool buildings and facilities that I need to put up?? Really now, it's just unfair. I cannot do without the bakery, but where on earth will I ever put the pizzeria?? And the chocolate factory?? And how will I ever build up enough $ credits to afford the chocolate factory when I have to get rid of most of my crops so that I can have enough room to build the factories, etc???

You have made my head spin with all these tough decisions!!!

I am NEVER, EVER going to get my housework done now. Thanks Devs!!!!!! Please stop for awhile, I can't keep up. Going to need ANOTHER farm if this keeps up, as I am running out of room! What great improvements to the game and it is truly appreciated. Kudos to you.

The new facilities are AWESOME and very exciting. The only negative feedback is the lack of room. I want to have one of each BUT how do I run them if I have no place to farm? A third or even a fourth (like Fishville that have many tanks available if you can afford them) farm is a NECESSITY at this point. Otherwise it will become a frustrating game.

Going back to what I said at the very beginning, the new facilities are TERRIFIC!! More land please.

Thanks, Teresa

the question I have is how do you put the chicken in the chicken coop, seems like no one has the answer.

You must play Farmville! The animals in FT do not go inside the coop/barn. They are harvested from wherever they happen to be on the farm.

If I understand correctly, you had fuel in the gift box, then you refueled, went back to the gift box and the fuel was gone. The fuel is taken from the giftbox and put into the harvester when you refuel, that's why it's gone!

Oh this is all just flippin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! TYVM!!!!!
Ok Devs, slam the brakes on now with anymore new stuff, so this can all sink in.
Plus you need to backtrack and address what you have currently accomplished, and finish making all the functions of each facility work for everyone - - ESPECIALLY US MYSPACE STEPCHILDREN!!!!! LOL
We need the produce faster feature to start working, and also please consider allowing us to hire ppl to harvest facilites instead of using streams to advertise for random help. They simply just don't produce fast enough.
There are so many ingredients required for each product, and we are having to wait MANY MANY DAYS to get our return profit back.

IE:
plant entire farm of wheat-2days
tomato-2 more days
cheese - 10 YEARS
onions - 3 days
It will take 9 days just to plant and harvest all these crops, not to mention many more days to have the ingredients PROCCESSED so we can send it all to the pizza shop, and then wait many more days to get the pizzas made.
We're talking a few WEEKS just to make a decent amount of pizzas!!!!!!!!
Meanwhile we have to invest a butt-load of money and wait few weeks to see our return.
OMG please have mercy - devs.........

Mar 30 2010, 08:57 PM
Can I only have 1 of these facilities per farm?

You would want 1 of each on your farms. All material you process comes from the storage area, so having more than one Dairy Processing Plant, for example, one on each of 2 farms would be a HUGE waste of money and space, as well as the time it would take to be sure you put part of your harvest in each plant, as only one is needed.

Would it be possible to make it so we can sell a specific amount of sugar/flour instead of selling all?

That way we can keep some to bake/make pizza

That would help if we accidently clicked sell, then all is gone and we'd have to wait to grow the crops to make the sugar/flour

Hey, Duck, I thought the same thing when I bought the plants, but once they get the request for help working, you will love it! Each neighbor can process up to 20% of the total amt in production, so it happens VERY quickly if you get 5 neighbors to help. The problem I'm having, is most neighbors play FV, and the FT req for help get lost in all those FV posts, so I'm having to req help via chat msg. The key to needing several items for pizza, is not to fill the entire farm with one ingredient. Get them all going at once.

I started by planting the entire farm in raspberries, done in 2 hrs, now I have plenty of raspberries for yogurt. Blueberries and strawberries will be done tomorrow and Thurs. Plant half wheat and half sugar on 2nd farm, if you have one. It will all work out and you will LOVE it!!

What a gyp that you have to be gifted cocoa trees! I bought the chocolate factory, with real cash, mind you, only to find out that I can't plant my own cocoa????? What a rip-off!! I am really angry - you should have made it clear when the purchase was made that you aren't in control of how much cocoa you can harvest because it has to be gifted - I don't have very many friends playing this game anymore, so I guess I wasted my money! Thanks alot!

I really like all the additions :) I started playing FT when it first came out but stopped a few months ago. I returned to the game a few days ago and WOW allot of things have changed and all of the old complaints have been addressed and fixed. I'm only level 31 and am going to start working hard to get the second farm so I can buy a sugar plant and the bakery. Right now my farm is full with the dairy shed, dairy plant and the wool shed. Although I don't even have a second farm I have to agree that once you have all the facilities you are going to need a third farm to keep things going and not just have one industrial farm.

When i logged onto the game tonight, the info box popped up saying "juicer now available, start making juice now". There was only a green arrow, no red X, I clicked it and the box went away as ususal. I went to facilities to buy it ($28. and i had $41) when I clicked "buy" it said I did not have enough....I looked and game was showing only $13. So i was charged and have no juicer! Any ideas of where it went or did i just get ripped off by a "glitch"?

HOw abo being able to trade our FT coins for FT cash. Like for every 500 FT coins you can get 1 FT cash. I love the game and the new upgrades, just upset I don't have enough FT cash for the Chocolate Facility. I spent it all on the Juice facility. I have over 7 million in FT coins.

To produce faster click on your facility and then click on what is cooking and after that click on the produce faster button at the top left. It will take you through the process of advertising on your facebook page, that you have products cooking. They will be able to come and help which causes the process to go faster. I hope I explained that well enough. Can anyone add anything that I have not?

I am running out of room also. It would be nice to have a new piece of land that can house just the buildings or make it a small village. We could change the pizza place, bakery, sugar refinery and dairy place to this farm. If planting were allowed it would be just the crops you could use in these places. Thanks

They are locked unless you want to buy them with farm cash. In the alternative, you can level up.

I love all the new facilities and am having a blast redecorating to make room! I realize that you need to make money since you've put so much time & effort in to making this a great game, so I understand that some items cost real cash.

One little problem I have is: When I go to sell my stuff in the marketplace, it's hard to keep track of what to sell right away & what I need to hang on to cuz I'm going to need it in another facility. Maybe you can split up the items for sale...or have it say an alert if I start to sell something I'm going to need in a different facility? Like the eggs; I hadn't been to the bakery yet and I sold them, THEN I got the bakery and realized I needed them!

Anyway, Love it and thanks for keeping this game so much fun!

If you have the gift in your gift box click on more then post to your wall. If the item has a gift box beside it in the store click on the gift box post to your wall. If you have one of the items click on it (except animals) then choose request as gift and post to your wall. All else falls write on your wall asking for that gift until you get one and then can do one of the other options.

If you get a gift you want more of, push the more button to post it. If you don't have any cocoa trees yet, just put a note on your home page to ask your neighbors for them.

Put them into storage then go to the other farm and take them out of storage. Now with the facilities you need to make sure they have no work or products that need to be stored in them when you store them because might lose them. Also trees should be harvested before going into storage because putting them in storage resets the growth on the trees and you will lose the fruit so might as well harvest them and make a few coins.

Hi, I am enjoying baking, milking and making juice (had saved level $)
Hiring friends: I want to hire a list of specific people rather than publishing my farmtown habit to all friends (!some game posts are very tedious for friends to read if they don't play that particular game)
There is not enough space in the customize box to do this - can you fix please?
Also, the one hire post I managed expired really quickly.
Could you make it that once you hire a friend or neighbour, they can work whenever they want, just like neighbours can visit whenever?

Thank you. Mmmmm pizza and then apple pie!

For the wool shed, dairy farm, etc the animals must be on the same farm as the facility to be "harvested". But for facilities only requiring crops you have already harvested, you may grow these anywhere.

So now FT is like Cafe World or something?

FT is still FT, nobody requires you to buy the new facilities. You are very welcome to play the old way and pursue all the same goals you had before. There are just new options for those who want them.

how do I get the products like cheese for the pizza shop?

You get cheese from the dairy facility. The dairy facility makes cheese from cow's milk collected from the dairy farm. So basically you need a dairy shed to collect the cows' milk and then the dairy facility to turn the milk to cheese. This facility also turns goats' milk to goats' cheese and cows' milk to butter.

The cows and the dairy shed need to be in the same farm in order to be able to collect the milk. The dairy facility collects milk from your storage so it could be in a different farm from the cows and shed.

Hope that helps! :)

Oh this is all just flippin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! TYVM!!!!!
Ok Devs, slam the brakes on now with anymore new stuff, so this can all sink in.
..........

IE:
plant entire farm of wheat-2days
tomato-2 more days
cheese - 10 YEARS
onions - 3 days
It will take 9 days just to plant and harvest all these crops, not to mention many more days to have the ingredients PROCCESSED so we can send it all to the pizza shop, and then wait many more days to get the pizzas made.
We're talking a few WEEKS just to make a decent amount of pizzas!!!!!!!!
Meanwhile we have to invest a butt-load of money and wait few weeks to see our return.
OMG please have mercy - devs.........

Here is a plan ... Don't plant your entire farm with one crop; try planting four or five or even more crops at a time.

I have two farms; one growing berries, trees, mushrooms, etc., my animals are here, most of my buildings and decorations, etc. the second one is growing onions, wheat, tomatoes, etc. (four or five different crops). Facilities on both farms (twice the production), and I don't seem to be out of room. Still have a couple of facilities to put up (juice factory and maybe chocolate factory), but I have plenty of room to do it.

I really don't understand why people seem to think they need a third farm ... Perhaps Farmtown should open a college that teaches Ag courses, Civil Engineering courses, landscape design and a few business courses. LOL

It depends on how you design. Some people have several houses, barns, facilities etc = town. Other people have one house, barns etc = a single farm.

I love the new facilities - but I would get more workers if I could hire within FarmTown instead of having to post to FaceBook. Farmers are already ON FarmTown, you know? (and my non-Farmer friends don't understand)
Could we add "hire to work in your facility" as an option when you click on an avatar? Or make it an option to use within a message to a Neighbor?
Thanks for making the game more interesting again!

Could someone tell me how much cocoa one needs to produce how much cocoa liquor or whatever it is. I only have 2 trees, so at this point it wouldn't be worth buying the factory. How long does it take to make how much? I don't guess i would be selling it, so that is not needed, I would only use it for making other things. Also, how long does it take a cocoa tree to produce. From what I see, I got one cocoa for harvesting one tree. Seems like one is going to need alot of cocoa trees.

I think it will take forever to get enough cocoa trees to make it worth getting the cocoa factory. I think the gifting system needs to change. I am pretty sure people would be more likely to send me a tree if I could send them one and they could easily resend it. That is what I do on most games. When you accept a gift on this game, it takes you to your farm. You have to click on gifts to go there, and find the gift and then find the person you want to send it to. Not too sure most of my neighbors really care to go thru the trouble.

I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm posting it here. If one of the moderators want's to move it, that's fine.

I think they need to make an area in the storage for things we have harvested, but don't want to sell because we need them to make other items. We should have a place to move our stuff to, so we don't accidentally sell it at the market place. Things like milk, eggs, butter, flour, sugar, fruits, etc..

Because you take 5 units of Pineapple that you would sell for $3070 and turn them into 25 units of Pineapple juice which you sell for $6400. So you make more money turning it into juice.

Also, if when you specify the names of those you want to send the request to you can no longer see the "Save" button, just use the arrow down on your keyboard, and you'll then be able to save the names you selected.

You don't have to hire people on FT either... You can harvest your own farm.. You just earn more coins for the crops... and it costs you less to hire someone to plow than if you do it for your own farm..You are on no time constraints on Farm Town.......

Ah ha, I think I see the problem. I only had a dairy shed on my first farm, as I thought you could only own one producing dairy shed per 'account'.

Thanks

I posted this on another board and it may have been a wrong one so posting it here also. I apologise if either one or both are the incorrect place. I just finished a batch of Mushroom pizza which it says should give me 2900 coins per batch. When I go to the marketplace (and in my storage) it says it's only going to give me 290 coins. Is this a glitch? Seems like a waste of my time if it's for only 290 coins. I'm holding off on selling my stuff until I know if it's a glitch or not.

Hi Adbasmom. :)

There are 10 units (pizzas) per batch. The selling price for one unit is 290, therefore for the whole batch it's 2900 coins.

I have just completed my research on whether or not it is advantageous to create the products of these new facilities and I must conclude that all but one of the additions is a complete waste of money for players. Unless you are trying to increase your level points there is no reason to waste your money creating these new foods, but there are more effective ways to increase your level points without wasting so much money. I am of course assuming that a player harvests their crops with help on each crop. I will explain below.

If a player could sell a unit of Wheat at market for $136ea., and it costs 10 units of Wheat to produce 1 unit of Flour, then the cost to produce one unit of Flour is $1360. Wheat unit per Flour unit, the loss to the player would be -$760 per unit on what the player could potentially produce.

Using this same rationale from a Sugarcane unit to a Sugar unit, the loss to the player would be -$530 per unit on what the player could potentially produce.

Using this same rationale from a Cow Milk unit to a Butter unit, the loss to the player would be -$93 per unit on what the player could potentially produce.

Using the same rationale from a Cow Milk unit to a Cheese unit, the gains and losses are equal, but the Cheese just takes time to produce.

Using the same rationale from a Goat Milk unit to a Goat Cheese unit, the gains to the player would be $30 per unit on what the player could potentially produce. Goat Cheese seems to be the only advantageous product from a raw resource (Goat Milk).

Trying to produce Pizzas, Yogurts, Pies, Cakes, and Cookies makes a player's coin losses exponentially worse, SO DON'T PRODUCE THEM! Unless you like to lose coins unnecessarily. On the other hand a player would lose less coins and gain more level points if they simply plow, sow Raspberry seeds, bulldoze the Raspberry fields, and plow again.

To the creators of the facilities: You need to make the coin incentives much more advantageous to players to make it worth the time and coins to produce them. For example at a minimum Flour needs to sell at no less than $1360 per Flour unit, or reduce the number of Wheat units it takes to produce a Flour Unit to no more than 4 Wheat units at Flour's current sell price. Sugar, Butter, and Cheese would also have to change.

10 fields of wheat produce 5 units of flour that sell for 600 coins each. it takes 2 fields of wheat for every unit of flour. The wheat cost you 200 coins for 2 fields that is 80 coins for seeds and 20 coins to plow per field (this can be less if you hire to plow). If you hire harvest the wheat you make a profit of 116 per field. If you make flour out of the wheat you will now make 200 coins per field. This is a much better option then selling your wheat. This goes for all the products you can make, you will make more money off of them then just selling the corp.

Your math is way off across the board. I think perhaps you are mixing batches and units when you do the calculations.

Let's take wheat, for example. Hired harvest wheat sells for 216 coins. 10 wheat would sell for 2160 coins. That same 10 wheat makes one batch of 5 flour that sells for 3000 coins. You've just made an additional an 840 coins for processing the flour into wheat.

All of the facilities that I have are profitable. I'm sure the two I don't own are just as profitable.

The only thing I could suggest is that if you aren't doing a lot of production you aren't going to see huge increases in coins...just like planting. If you don't plant a lot you don't make a lot.

I had over two weeks worth of production in my sugar refinery at one point prior to neighbors being able to help speed production. Once my neighbors could help I was able to finish that in just a couple of days. I don't remember how much it sold for but it was a huge amount. I had 200,000 plus of flour in my storage yesterday and used about half of it to make pizzas.

Mr. H
Apr 01 2010, 02:26 PM
More numbers:

Surgarcane, hired harvest sells for 133 coins which becomes one unit of sugar for 200 coins.

Cows milk sells for 30 coins which becomes 20 units of butter and sells for 140 coins or 6 units of cheese which sells for 600 coins.

Goats milk sells for 35 coins and becomes 8 units of goat cheese and sells for 960 coins.

I think the batch vs. units is continuing to confuse people and the fact that it isn't usually a straight 1 unit in for 1 unit out.

Sounds like you need some new friends. I have the same problem with a number of my friends, and trust me, as soon as I can replace them, I will. Right now all that some of them are good for is fuel count when I refuel (you don't even want me to get started on the fueling system on that 'other farm game').

Now, if you want to talk gifts ... That 'other farm game' is about as worthless as it gets. I keep getting eggs, which once I have a ton of them I can maybe trade for a decent looking windmill, otherwise I can trade it for a sheep wearing a New Years Eve hat or some other ridiculous looking prize. Geez, isn't that wonderful. If I get really lucky, someone will send me a mystery box, and when I open it I can have another Elephant topiary to stick on my ONE farm.

All in all, I'd say we are darned lucky with this game, so I simply recommend that you smile nice and go 'friend' shopping :) I know that is what I'll be doing soon. And maybe one of these days I'll even get my farm linked to this thing so I can invite folks over LOL

They are all on my 2nd farm, do I have to plant wheat for flour or sugarcane for the sugar factory? I'm so confused. Hope I haven't wasted money buying these things. Also, I barely have any animals, do I need to start getting some?

So, where do you store everything? Do you not sell it in the marketplace?

Most of the ingredients you have to grow on your farm. Some come from trees. Once they are full grown and have been harvested, then you can produce things. For example, say you want to make a cherry pie from the bakery.
You need to grow wheat and then harvest it and make flour at the windmill (if you have one).
You need to grow sugarcane and then harvest it and take it to the sugar factory.
And the cherries are grown on trees. Once this is all in your storage (the flour, sugar, and cherries) you can now produce cherry pies.

It can be many steps to create one pie :)

To make cheese you need to have a cow and then have that cow milked at your dairy shed (if you have one) and then take the milk to the dairy processing plant (if you have one) to make cheese.

Once you've harvested the sugarcane and it's in your storage (correct, don't sell it at the marketplace) go to your sugar factory and click on it and then click "show facility " and then click "produce" and it will make sugar.

Thanks for this, I'm still not sure HOW to get the ingredients, or where to put them?

Grow sugar cane, then process it in the sugar facility. Once processed in to sugar, you need to put it in your storage (you will find the "store" button under "what's cooking" in your facility).

Grow wheat, then process it with the red windmill, once finished it becomes flour, put it in your storage by using the "store" button in the "what's cooking" section of your facility.

Butter, cheese, etc. must be made in the Dairy facility from cow's milk and then put in to your storage by using the "store" button in the "what's cooking" section of your facility. You needs cow's milk and fruit (berries from crops that you have grown and put in your storage) to make yogurt.

Bakery is a bit more complicated. You have to have HEN eggs (not goose eggs), flour, sugar, apples, cherries, cheese, or chocolate and possibly butter (depending on what you are baking) already processed and in your storage unit to make these items.

Pizza shop needs processed cheese from your storage, processed flour from your storage, tomatoes from crops you have grown and placed in storage, and mushrooms or onions from crops you have grown and placed in storage (if making those types of pizzas).

I don't have the fruit and/or chocolate fatoryies yet, but my guess is that they will work along the same way.

Don't forget to check your "what's cooking' thing for the end products and then to STORE them in your storage so you can take them to market to sell them.

It all sounds a lot more complicating than it is ... Once you do it a time or two and remember to not sell the items you need to bake or make pizzas or yogurt, it is a breeze.

I think I got that all right. Really ... the toughest part is remembering the ingredients for baking and pizza. LOL

Have fun :)

A batch of sugar is 10 units of sugar. A batch of sugar sells for 2000 coins a unit of sugar sells for 200 coins. The price in storage is a unit price not batch price.

Hi all

where can I find a list of what to plant/what is needed for all the different facilities??? like for example flour for pizza - what produces the flour???

Flour is made from wheat. The red mill is what turns the wheat in to flour. Don't forget to go to whats cooking to put the wheat in to your storage for use in your pizza shop and bakery.

If you have any questions about what it takes to make something, there is a little question mark in the upper right corner of each item the facility produces that will tell you what you need to make that item.

Pizza takes flour, tomatoes, and cheese. You can add mushrooms for a second type of pizza or onions for a third type.

Cheescake takes flour, butter, cheese and hen eggs.

Pies are pretty basic but you have to have the fruit.

Hope that helps, but check the corner for a better list. Happy baking :)

I haven't made a choice yet (I procrastinate at times), but I am leaning toward the juice factory. I don't really need to bake chocolate cakes or cookies (don't really need to make juice either, but I want one of the two facilities just to have one). My question is (and I guess I should look), is what juices does the juice factory make?

Hi Raul...I always plant lots of blackberries & blueberries, so how about making those 2 available in the Juice Factory? After all, you can buy those juices in real supermarkets/health food stores! Also carrot juice should be made available...lots of folks drink freshly juiced carrots every day!

It should. I have a dairy shed on both farms and cows on both farms and it collects from them both.

Farm1: 12 cows and Dairy Farm

Dairy Farm on Farm1 doesn't milk cows on Farm2. That is the way it works. So, no, it shouldn't milk the cows on farm2. You have to add a second dairy farm on farm2

Could you please post with the announcement of the new facilities exactly what it takes to produce what and how long it takes. This is frustrating. I was considering buying the chocolate factory, but it is farmcash and I will not buy it without knowing that it is actually feasible. I am only up to 8 trees which I am assuming take at least 2 days to harvest. I only get one cocoa from a tree at harvest. I would like to know how many it takes for production and how much I would get from the production. I have asked this on this forum a few times now and no one has answered me. It would so much simpler if it was on the announcement page. The little question mark in the store does not answer these questions. Putting this important bit of information there, would also be very helpful and would probably have spared people from buying it and finding out after they bought it that they couldn't really use it enough to make it worth that much farmcash.

Your start production on your dairy. Then when it's done, go to "what's cooking" and then click "store". Then once you go to the market to sell your produce, you get coins.

was wondering how or if i can move things like buildings or animals to the 2 farm

just put the item or facility into storage and then go to your other farm and go into storage from there and take it out again.

Thanks

Bought all the facilities, except Juice place. Can't harvest my hen house or my dairy. Why? It says 100% to harvest. I click. The words 'no aminals harvested' appears. Tried for 2 days. Do I need to have animals on that farm?

Yes, you need cows or goats for the dairy shed, and chickens or geese for the coop (adult hens, not the little yellow chicks) On the same farm as the sheds.

I'm loving all the facilities and especially now that we have a 3rd farm. Awesome! One suggestion: in our storage area, it would be nice if there were some way to tell which items are "finished products" (i.e., there's nothing else we can do with them so we should sell them) and which ones might be used for something else. I know it should be obvious - and it is - but it'd be nice to have them marked so we don't have to think so hard when we go to sell our stuff!

Also - for now, these items are finished products, right: Goose eggs, sheep wool, llama wool, goat cheese. Are they going to be used in the future for new facilities or should I go ahead and sell them?

AWESOME JOB!

Oh yeah - and goat milk is a finished product, too, right? We can't do anything with that except sell it, right?

Also . . . I have another great idea (IMHO <g>). I'd love it if those neighbors who have things percolating in their facilities could be marked on our neighbor list with a little glowing dot or something. Sort of like the "Hot Doughnuts Now" thing. LOL That would make it easy to go help even if we miss the FB post (or if they don't post, for some reason).

Goat milk can be changed into goat cheese, but that is as far as you can go with it right now.

You can make goat cheese with goat milk if you have dairy processing facility.

I'm enjoying the facilities very much: my own and my neighbors'. It's fun to goto their place and work in their facilities and get stuff. Another dimension to the game.

The facilities (except the mills) look so modern. I guess I'll have to accumulate some more neighbors, get the third farm and just "hide" them there (maybe behind 100 willow trees LOL). I like to have an old-fashioned looking place. Of course my farmhand, Fred had to go and put up a pizza place, but he's a good hand otherwise :)

When will we be able to transfer our animals between farms. This is making things slow, as I don't want all the facilities on my first farm!!

Yes, a stock pile of prepared ingreds would be nice. Like make the flourer and then have a third storage place--like a pantary.

You have to have the relevant animals on the same farm as the chicken coop, dairy shed and wool shed, but the other facilities can be on any farm, as they use produce from storage which is shared between the farms.

You can leave them however long you want to, as they don't go to waste.

I agree about not having everything posted on face book and It is too bad we have to buy chocolate. How about making it so we can turn in our coins for real cash? I do like all the new facilities though and my husband and I think your programmers are Genius. Some of this stuff is soooo cool, thank you :)

Happy Easter everyone !

No you don't lose any of the product at all. Their share is extra. :)

Click on 'what's cooking' to see progress of the products, then any that are at 100% can be sent to storage ready for sale.

I have a dairy barn and coop on one farm with the relevant animals. We can't move animals to either of our other farms and those facilities have to be on the same farm. So, can we have a second dairy barn and coop on another farm, add any new animals that have been gifted to that, and both farms produce milk and eggs? My number 1 is getting cluttered with animals. They're trampling the zinnias

i like it, would like to see bee hives that make honey, peanuts would be nice

Thanks Raul and all, game is getting interesting again...
Bought all the facilities, have all the trees and stuff, planting like mad...
Got my third farm already upgraded to 14x14.. don't mind buying things if you keep us happy, y'all are wonderful

Please no bees to sting the harvesters and plowers... as for the peanuts some people are allergic but hey we have the walnut trees - those can do for sprinkles in your yogourt.

THANKS EVERYONE, KEEP IT UP

You don't have to have the animals in all the farms, as long as you have the products in storage the facilities will pick up from there. I have not had any problem and now I have all the facilities on farm 3 which is ideal, do not have to rearrange and mess with farm 1 or 2.
Wait a while and you will see more facilities, remember we plant rice, cotton, and other things that are great to make things..
How about fried rice? Rice, Eggs, Ham from the pigs (LOL), and we can have a restaurant to sell food, a real town. If only the people could sit down and have a good time visiting and eating not standing up, just a suggestion, lol

We've been told you have to have the animals on the same farm as the facilities. This is in regards to the dairy barn and chicken coop.

the question I have is how do you put the chicken in the chicken coop, seems like no one has the answer.

Put a fence around the chicken coop, the chicken DO NOT go inside the coop, that would be asking for too much... they stay outside but if you want to have them contained, then put a wire fence around the coop leaving enough space for them to feed...

Neither horses, llamas, cows, or sheep go into their stables either, they all are outside, but don't worry you get their products wherever they are.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE - THANKS RAUL AND COMPANY

yes, you can have a dairy shed and chicken coop on each farm and harvest the produce from any animals you have on that farm.
