I'm excited for the new adds, but I haven't been able to get to my farm since the new upgrade. It loads to 3% then just stops. It worked fine until now. Is there anything short of the whole uninstall/reinstall thing that's on another post that will fix the problem? Please?

This may have been addressed, but I have a question regarding the capacities of the chicken coop, etc. The update says you can have 100 of each kind per facility, but when I try to add (specifically) hens to my coop, it tells me I can only have 100. I have 3 coops but only 100 chickens total. Is this a glitch or can you only have 100/kind of animal no matter how many facilities you own. In order to have more than 100, do the facilities have to be on different farms? No matter which coop I check, it shows exactly the same number of animals.

Came back to FT after a few days away to very nice surprises.

The fishing boat is worth every penny, not only does it do a great job but the animated graphics when you use it are fantastic. It was a delight to fish my numerous rivers and coasts, big kiss to the developers for that one alone.

The new views on the snack and preserve factories are fabulous and a vast improvement to the old designs. Any chance of doing the same for the chocolate and juice factories? pretty please xx

Have just got all the new facilities and i have to say i am very pleased with the design of all of them. Production wise it looks like the brewery is going to be another big earner like the wine cellar :) :)

Tuna comes from the large seacoast..then you can can it in the food processor,to make tuna sandwiches in the sandwich shop. Lobster comes from the large seacoast also

The fishing boat and tree shaker are fantastic additions. My seafood and sushi resturants were mere decorations until the last couple of days because fishing was so tedious. Now I have empty rivers, lakes and seas waiting for them to fill back up! I'm also planting a lot of rice, I have fish and no rice!

I've also finished planting a nice orchard, with the tree shaker it makes harvesting trees a pleasure instead of a chore.

I wish there were more flowers like sunflowers, plowed and planted by seed.

Patiently waiting for farm #6, 7 and 8. :)

New levels usually come with new buildings and new decorations. People haven't been putting in nearly enough decoration requests in!

I'd like to see more fence designs, like brick walls and stone walls with round, dark stones.

I'd also like to see more animals but put a limit on them so the animation doesn't kill people's computers. 20 of any animal is plenty! I wouldn't mind a hound dog to sit around the place. And some ducks (the green-headed ones with the stripe on the neck) :D

I totally understand the need for facilities that cost farm cash, but in the interest of agriculture in general, I'd point out that you don't need a "bee farm" to get honey. All you need is hives. Honey comes ready-made from the hives: all you have to do is clean out the dead bees and put it in jars, the food preservation factory could do that bit.

Grew up on a farm that had beehives: lots of free honey and more to be sold :)

I love this latest update, and have just about lived in Farm Town since it came out.

I too love the boat! It may be my favorite new innovation yet.

I also like the ability to switch the looks of the snack factory and food preserve factory. The alternate looks are very attractive, plus I appreciate the smaller footprint. I would love to see more facilities get the choice, as these buildings are just beautiful.

The Preserve Factory cost $$ and now it makes tuna in the can, only you need more $$ to buy the large sea coast. And ya'll love the fishing boat that also costs $$$$. This is becoming an expensive game with more restrictions on folks who don't have the $$$ to spend. I bought the preserve factory, yet I can't do the tuna without spending more $$$ on the sea coast.

Very nice app, overwhelming lately for sure, and expensive.

For a while it got kinda lonely, although the autonomous nature is one

I would be beside myself if I were a Farmville person and only had one
farm to put all that stuff on and try to grow crops! AND ~ I don't have to
pay oodles of coins for a dog, or shell out cash to get him back if he
runs off, the fuel is free, the graphics are better an I can have
friends drop in and we can chit chat n what have you.


If I had to come up with anything that is missing from my
Farm Town wish list, it would be to have a better variety
of fences n hedges...and maybe a 4 plot bulldozer for
all the times I decide to remodel aaaaaagain.

The tuna is canned in the Preserve Facility. You then can use the canned tuna in your Sandwich Facility. If you don't have the Preserve Facility, you may have neighbours that do and able to work in their facility to gain canned tuna. Hope this helps. :)

Come on, 5 units every two hours is only 60 units a day per truck !!! can't make a lot of beer with that!!!

there's not only the application of the day but if you click on Earn Cash and coins and then click "Free" there are also sites that give away coupons for instance Chick Fil A.. and other things you can do for free on that page like get an insurance quote... or ask a friend that has added up some farm cash and no longer plays the game to gift you the item you want with their accumulated farm cash they will never use! I had a yard sale and used some money earned from that to purchase things for my house and a facility for my Farm Too....

I started another game - treasure madness, which wants cash ($/£) FAR more often than Farm Town - hate that, it is insidious and a gambling game basically....
I have spent a few quid on facilities and think it is jolly good value for the time I spend playing. I have stopped smoking recently and spend much time farming, and it seems very cheap to me.

I have tried some of the 'free cash' games/surveys. It never worked. I guess they are mostly meant for the American market ;./

I had some small savings and used them... and am not sorry! This game gives me so much fun!!! Of course I do hope their will be other ways to get FC, but I gave my husband another account to help me, and even it will be hard to give him a third farm, I see it is fun also when you don't have FC (I don'y spent money on his farm). You developers are great. I dropped FV and now also World Cafe, since my time is taken here lol

I would love to see the Ice Cream Factory, Dairy Processing Plant, and Sugar Refinery changed. I love the look of the Natural Remedies Shop, Coffee and Tea Shop, and the Hardware Store (I know this isn't a factory).

I love the new stuff but would like a faster way to earn dollars so I can buy more facilities

i have tried to be very very cautious about this but i am so wondering about the production of wheat into flour in the red windmills.... i have just sent four area of my farm into only one of my 2 windmills... and man it does not look right only having now 255 units... just honestly does not sound right..... is there anyone that can look into this just to please ease many of our minds?? just saying........

like honey, peanut butter, tuna fish, jam casue you got to remember a lot of us don't have
the facilites to be able to produce some of this stuff

Not sure if the developers have noticed - but they have spelt OATS as OAST on the facility when you hover over it. Just thought I'd let you know.

Oast is correct, An oast, oast house or hop kiln is a building designed for kilning (drying) hops as part of the brewing process.

Just for the sake of discussion.........

Suppose 25 levels were added today..... and you (and many others) were automatically at level 125, with $25FC more..

so what

I think that many would start "complaining" that they are "stuck" at level 125.... and "it's just not fair". :eek:.....:D

Others would "complain" that $25FC was not enough to buy any of the expensive facilities (which they wish they had saved the FT$$ for - not knowing that there would be future increases in levels)

I suppose the only answer is to make the lower levels buy the same things which other long-playing farmers bought way-back-when.... and then everybody would be the same.... unhappy.....lol

As for me..........

--- give me 5 more farms to buy... I have lots of coin
--- give me mansions and toys to consider.... I have lots of coin
--- give me more variety of crops, trees, etc.... I can always chose to decline
--- don't give me more FT$$ (people will call me unfair)
--- give me a steady and reasonable expansion of the game...

it's a game..... and I, for one, enjoy it at both by 5-farm accounts.

My name is Mary and I am a Farm Town Addict.
I LOVE THIS GAME!!
I have been playing for over 1 year now and it just keeps getting better and better. Love the new updates, all of them.
I'm one of those who at first cried foul when they started adding fc items but if you visit my farm you will see that I own all of the facilities, fishing boat and tree shaker. Just can't help myself.
I do see a really good balance between coin and fc, something for everyone.
I also understand that some of my neighbors can't do what I do. They buy the coin facilities and play the game just the same.
I would like to see a way to gift honey to them since they have the cereal factory and it uses honey. We gift ketchup, chocolate liquor, pickles and such so why not honey. Maybe yeast too.
Just and idea.
Still love it and watch everyday for anything new that might pop up but will not complain if I have to wait. Keep on farming.
Thanks to the devs for the wonderful job they do to keep this game fun and to the mods for the help they give on here. Have a great day everyone!

REALLY REALLY tired of hiring someone, not having an ack, hiring again, not having an ack, hiring again, getting an ack and then showing up on your farm with 3 ppl working it, all previous ack's where apparently acked but you never knew it.

I hate ppl that hire multiples but with the current method of "hire someone and they may or may not show up on your place, they may or may not have an ack shown to you" method just, uhm, makes me angry.

Hi there, we all have that dilemma once we reach level 100. If you don't won't to buy FarmCash, you could check out the "Earn Cash and Coins tab" in your game to earn extra coins. :)

In that area --- since I don't depend on a zillion trees overplanted on 50 different crops that I need just to maintain all the facilities at a minimum production --- I don't have an axe to grind.

Oh, I have hundreds of cinnamon trees.... I do have an axe to grind.

I have on several occations asked about "something" (building, tool i.e. ) that will water all my flowers *in one click- or two* LOL

Is there anything already done, and I've missed it, or is there any plans to "make" one????

I think I've seen some kind of option to buy some "Tool" to "Grow Faster" with FarmCash, but I'm not capable of finding it. :(

I appreciate the fact that we are not dependent on our neighbors to send gifts to finish building facilities, like in Farmville or other games. That is why I quit playing those.

On the other hand, I love it that we now receive a portion of the crop when we help harvest someone's farm. I never had time to grow the 2, 4, 8, or 12 hr crops, and thus could never use facilitiy components that required those crops. People who work, or in school, really appreciate your consideration of the fact that online game time is limited.

To get honey, you have to buy the beehive facility. Then you can "order" the honey. The cinnamon trees are not harvested, you need to use the axe and cut them down just like the bamboo, pine, and oak trees. If you don't cut them down, you will never have any cinnamon.

I love all the new goodies!!! Thanks for the great boat!! That fish net grabs them up fast!! I really disliked the fishing because it was too time consuming but now, I look forward to heading out with my fishing pole to see what I can catch!!

I would so love to see a gasoline powered chain saw for doing the trees. The axe takes forever!! I would also like a better way to water flowers. It was fine when you only had them as decorations but now, you need a LOT of them to run the flower shop and it's really hard to water them. Maybe have a larger patch and charge more or give us a hose to use.

The new buildings are awesome!!!! I switched both of mine. I love the colors and styles of the facilities in the last few updates. The coffee shop and the other one that uses the herbs.. both very nice!!

Last request, please give us a replacement for that huge oil refinery! It takes up such a huge amount of space and makes the farms off balance!!

You do not harvest cinnamon trees. You chop them with the axe in the tool box.

It started after I bought the Truck, and I have lost a lot of Cheese yesterday and the day before.

Worst thing, though, is that it seems impissible to get the cheese into Storage

I am done messing with the "suggestions" they give that do not work. I have "allowed" them access to my information and if they can't attempt to load the game to figure out what they did that made it quit loading it isn't my problem the problem is with Farm Town. I have spent over 2 hours messing around with their suggested "solutions" to the problem. It still doesn't load.
I am leaving town on Friday morning and won't be back until late Sunday night. I have a funeral to attend tomorrow. I am not wasting any more time on this.
When I try to log in Monday it either works or it doesn't. If it doesn't I will just delete the farm and move on and be done with this.

First post on here so hello everyone! been playing farmtown now for 3 months and really enjoy it and all the recent updates! what about having a farmtown pub? and supermarket? and definitely more farms needed possibly upto 10 - always running out of wheat and now with the new things like hops and barley cannot keep up with demand - please more farms to be added!!!! I also have problems with keeping up with wheat and did anybody mention tomatoes? ;)
My two pence thought is: that it is a part of the game... It would become too easy and probably boring if things where to easy to get. I do agree though: yeath is a bit too slow. Now it is for me a sport too see, what to plant first, what do I need most, what do I what do I want to make first and what can I use my crops or harvested trees for. I even made my own inventory list in Excel lol.

This is the first game I ever spent money on, and the only play I still play...

To FltThundr: are you sure you linked your farm right? The automatic link doesn't work, but some have the link how to do it. I am not clear about your problem, but if you had the same with Zynga it might be your flash player. I had only two times a problem with Farmtown, but after giving them access it was solved in a day.

Why are you hovering, have your tried clicking? Also unless you link your farm, there is little anyone can do to help you. There is a link in my signature to show you how to do this. "The Farm Town Account Linked" for some time now does not work. You need to manually link your farm.

Edit: It got the better of me to see what you are trying to hover over, which I don't normally, as I spend enough time here already. :)

To help you find your Facebook ID, load any photos in your Facebook account, even your profile image will do. In your browser address bar, click and hold down then drag your courser along the whole address so that you highlight the web address right to the end. You will then be able to see your Facebook id numbers. I am having issues with the sand. Will you please make it go under everything? It is shaped horribly for placing, it covers up the edges of parts of my sea coast, when my avatar walks in it all you can see is her head, and when I place hammocks or chaise lounges, they get buried as well. Pretty please? I love that you have it, but I cannot cover the areas I want to or place the things on my beach that I want there.

did you have all those hens in before the latest update? From what I understand if you have more than 100 in your chicken coop it will still harvest from them, but will not let you add any more and if you take any out it will not let you put them back in

Not sure if the developers have noticed - but they have spelt OATS as OAST on the facility when you hover over it. Just thought I'd let you know.

Its "Oast". An oast house is used to dry hops. (This is what I remember for going to Germany?!?!?!) I guess it would be best for the developers to call it an Oasthaus.

How about the lemoin juice be a part of usable ingrediendts since in abscence of fresh lemon you could use the juice from there and it would make great leno merengue pies. Not sure if this is the right place, I have just been to my storage to collect some coins and noticed that my Fuel has only 4 on there when I know for a fact that yesterday there was over 40, I have been spending a lot of coins on the fuel so that it lasts for a few days and now it looks as if I have to start all over again, is there a glitch with this, I feel really disappointed about this, it means that I will not be able to seed all my farms.

Was this fuel you made in your Factory or were they gifts?? you need to specify this and link your farm so the Mod's can better assist you . they are a really big help with the problems.. it is generally and easy fix. perhaps you stored the fuel and it will show up when you go to refuel? have you clicked to refuel yet.... if you don't click ok i will refuel you can come back to it and then try to find where your fuel is if you have it stored in a diff area of the game.. don't click ok yet if it is not there ok??

for any mod's out there ok. been having problems with my wheat and flour. could be just me ok. not so sure . need assistance on this ok.? please.. just had three of my farms harvested ok.. it was a total of 1059 fields. it only shows in my storage ok. 1 reg wheat. and only 952 large wheat in storage. two of us counted the fields a few times to get the correct amount. i had on farm #4 255 flour in the red windmill . nothing in storage when i sent this to storage ok it shows the 255 now had to refresh to get it in there.....going to put the harvested wheat into the red windmill now.. it shows only 475 in the wind mill
how is this right?? am i nuts..... from 1059 fields down to 953 and now i only get 475 flour from all that???

Please try to use the "Save" icon (upper right corner) OFTEN. As you are harvesting, use it maybe twice or three times, and especially as soon as you finish.

The work you are doing is being sent to a server which will remember only what it receives. And if you should jump to another farm or another activity while your avatar is "catching up" to your harvesting, you might lose some of the last of your work.

I had a similar experience.... coming up short on harvest for what I knew I had just harvested myself. Since using the "save" icon..... no problem.

Some times we just need to slow down a little bit, and realize this is a game and is not perfect.

wow that is not very much for the amount of items in the facilities that need flour is it?? does anyone else agree with me on that?? since we started the facilities i am guess.. now i don't know for sure ok?? but is this same figure since we started with only a couple of facilities needing flour?? is there anyway we can ask for an increase in that ratio?? just wondering.......i just checked my windmill and so far it is producing like you said Tony...so I am guessing that it is working right......wow that is not much.. but this is the windmill on my 4th farm i have one on my 3rd farm also i need to check the same way......

Hi Sunny, The way I count my fields (cannot verify the accuracy) is to make of a note of fuel units before ploughing, plough, refresh and then see how much fuel I have used

ok, I think I get what you mean now... like the coffee grinder saying it required 4 coffees but only taking 1, or the tv cabinet in the furniture factory saying it requires 4 pine lumber but taking 8. You'd have to note down how many were in your storage before starting a product, click to just do one (just to be on the safe side) and then going back to your storage to see how many were left

This may have been addressed, but I have a question regarding the capacities of the chicken coop, etc. The update says you can have 100 of each kind per facility, but when I try to add (specifically) hens to my coop, it tells me I can only have 100. I have 3 coops but only 100 chickens total. Is this a glitch or can you only have 100/kind of animal no matter how many facilities you own. In order to have more than 100, do the facilities have to be on different farms? No matter which coop I check, it shows exactly the same number of animals.

I can't find the answer to the above question.
If I have say...5 farms
Might I have housing facilities with the 100 limit of each
on EACH farm?

you can have a chicken coop on each of your 5 farms and house a maximum of 100 or each related animal in each coop. Same with woolsheds and dairy sheds.

ok, I think I get what you mean now... like the coffee grinder saying it required 4 coffees but only taking 1, or the tv cabinet in the furniture factory saying it requires 4 pine lumber but taking 8. You'd have to note down how many were in your storage before starting a product, click to just do one (just to be on the safe side) and then going back to your storage to see how many were left

The coffee has been fixed it now says that it takes 1 and is taking one. I have never had an issue with the windmill taking more wheat then it says but I have the stone windmill and no wheat so I can't go and check it right now. I noticed the TV cabinet and reported it.

SunnyD the flour has always needed 10 wheats to make 5 bags of flour. I agree it is not enough but I don't know if it will ever be changed. Doesn't hurt to ask though.

I am aware the issue with the coffee grinder has been fixed, which is why I used the past tense of "require", but could have been more specific. And yeah, also could have been specific about others first mentioning the issue with the furniture factory but didn't think it was relevant to the matter at hand.

REALLY REALLY tired of hiring someone, not having an ack, hiring again, not having an ack, hiring again, getting an ack and then showing up on your farm with 3 ppl working it, all previous ack's where apparently acked but you never knew it.

I hate ppl that hire multiples but with the current method of "hire someone and they may or may not show up on your place, they may or may not have an ack shown to you" method just, uhm, makes me angry.

Oh, and I'd really really like a chainsaw.

I agree, it is getting harder and harder to hire at the marketplace. 1. Wish we could hire to harvest and plow at the same time, that would solve a lot of problems with hiring. 2. Have a separate place to market to sell items. You go to hire and most of the people are there selling and you waste time trying to hire them.
