I love it all but have been getting bumped out a lot and also the game moves very slowly. I have cleaned out my cache and deleted cookies and scanned and down everything there is to do. It is very frustrating. What is the minimum memory one should have to play this game and not have to endure all of these problems. My neighbors complain of the same thing. Is is us or is it the game.

Very much hoping for farm 6 soon ... another wish is that when we first start to harvest the option to sell or put in storage is changed. With the facilities we definately don't want to sell as we harvest and it causes many an accident. Please eliminate the sell as you harvest it is antiquated and plain not needed.

Thank you so much for fixing the fishing bug where the farmer moves every time I click to fish. I love that my farmer now stands completely still while I'm fishing. I was always getting in my own way! :)

Right this is my last day off work - I go back tomorrow - I have approximately 6 more hours left to play and I am (im)patiently waiting .... I've no fingernails left .... I'm so maxed out on real coffee that I'm jittering and the refresh button on this page is so worn out that I need a new mouse!

I can guarantee that I will be up at 6.30am (GMT) tomorrow as an update comes out and I'll need to go to work ... life is just so unfair sometimes. My friends think I have a problem and that I am addicted to a computer game.... I think is completely acceptable and normal behaviour and I know that the people on this forum absolutely agree with me ...

If the truth be told I'm just killing time until an update actually does come out ... I will not however speculate what will be in that update - although I am free to dream of a sixth farm, Level 200 and of course I could really go to dream land and dream of fairies that will plant in the wave of a magic wand and handsome lumberjacks to chop my trees and wee fairies to re-stock my facilities whenever they run low....

You can place in your coops etc, 100 of each animal. Yes you can have separate dairy on each farm. You can do that with all your facility buildings and be able to harvest all of them.

For those that don't know, there is no value of more than one of the same coop/ facility/dairy/etc on a farm, as they will work as one. For example two coops on the one farm; you put four hens in a coop, the other coop on the same farm with also read as having four hens. There is no extra harvesting of eggs. Hope this is of some help. :)

I'm starting to have problems selecting animals. They are visible, yet I can't highlight them nor can I move them using the hand. There appears to be certain "dead spots" on my farm where I can insert an animal but never select them again. This has happened on two of my farms. Now I have some animals I don't want visible standing around. I can't select them to either sell them or move them into their appropriate animal pen.

On my farm 3 there is a bunch of sheep I can no longer select in any way.

To answer my own question, I turned off buildings and it appears I can now select the sheep. Kinda strange. They were fully visible and not hidden by the building they were next to in any way.

some things are what I call "bossy" - they have a larger personal space than they appear to, so even when they are not in the way of things they won't let you select them. Glad you've got it all sorted :)

Is the fishing improvement for rivers limited to newly-purchased rivers? I am seeing a definite difference in catch rate, but it varies between older & newer river sections, and it's still quite a ways from 1 click, 1 catch. (Older river sections = bought at least 8 months ago.)

Wow, with that kind of attitude I can certainly understand why people would want to give you something for free. NOT! If I can make a friendly suggestion. Quit whining and go play farmville, see how far you make it there without cash.

I don't understand why people expect something for nothing, this game takes time and effort for the developers, and they deserve to be compensated.

I LOVE this game, and choose to purchase farmcash, however it would still be a quite enjoyable game just utilizing the free portion.

Each and every month, I buy some Farm Cash. It might not be much. 5 dollars or like yesterday to help out my daughter I got 20 dollars worth of Farm Cash. Now she has a few more facilities that she couldn't get.
I'm also on a fixed income. Yet I still eat each month and don't go hungry. I pay my bills first and if I have something left over. Well since I don't go out to eat, or go places that cost money for the entertainment, then I have no problem at all in spending 5 - 20 a month for the entertainment I get from Farm Town.
I also look as that money as going to the people who are providing me with a bit of entertainment.
The people at Farm Town aren't money hungry as at some other games on here. They have a balance of what you can get with the coins you earn in game also. They give you *** for tat with what comes out.

please add a clearcutting tool for the choppable trees, the game is so laggy it's painful when trying to do a large amount of the trees. even something that does a smaller section, like the fishing or tree shaker etc... even if it costs me fuel i am cool with that, but right now cutting the trees is so painfully slow i just avoid it, and it's a huge loss of potential profits for me.

Do you play on fb or ms? If it is fb although the official limit on neighbors is 80 I have 118 neighbors, so keep adding them. If you play on ms that is controlled by ms there is nothing FT can do about it.

You just gave me a BRILLIANT idea: I have 4 FT accounts, with as many facilites as I could afford to buy since they first oes "appeared". I have 4 farms dedicated to facilities (one for each account - doh), and multiple headaches keeping them all "fed".
NOW I get the inspiration to "specialize" my accounts:
#1 - produce crops, etc, for snacks, juices, and candies - keep snack factory, food processor, juice factory, and taco restaurant - everything goes to highest bidder
#2 - produce crops etc for drinking, keep brewery, oast, juice factory, bee farm chocolate factory, tea shop, buy coffee shop - clear space for trees.
#3 - produce foods for re-sale - keep pizza restaurant, sandwich shop, sushi restaurant, cereal factory, bakery, dairy and ice cream

#4 - produce any crop that makes money


I'll start implementing this plan as soon as I find a way to get fair money back for the facilities I bought.

I "had" that problem until I read the Forum. :) I made sure my "animals" were turned on under the wrench thingy. Then I enlarged the farm as much as possible and low and behold they finally highlighted so I could move them after trying for over a year (back then to my storage) and put them in their respected places, i.e. hen house, cow in barn, etc. :)

I have 25135 olive oil in storage right now.

I use 7 groves of olive trees in the 4x8 format (32 trees each) and am now harvesting them with the tree shaker.

Don't run out of olives and oil either.

I never load the oil facility with all my olives. Do in batches of 1000 to 1500.

You can put a truck on each farm, or several farms, you won't run out of yeast that way. That is what I did.

First I want to say I do love all the new updates they are truely great. Only problem is this game has consumed all my wife's and I time.

What I want to say though is we need alternative ways of obtaining Yeast. Ordering it through the Semi-trailor is way to slow and slows down production. I have a lot of thirsty farmers out there and can't keep up with them. Can you please have other ways of obtaining it? Maybe even let us gift it.

You can put a truck on each farm, or several farms, you won't run out of yeast that way. That is what I did.

try hiding trees, and buildings, then unfreeze your animals then refresh the game , come back and see you can move them while they are not frozen... that helped me......


It is much simpler to just "turn off" buildings and trees and then clicking the animal (and you might try "walking" away, because avatar can cause the same problem).

If you go to all the trouble you outlined, and animal han't moved - you may have wasted your time, because other objects have priority in that area.

they did fix it so the axe worked faster and the trees clear faster... fishing is faster that is great...... thinking a chain saw will be cool ok... but........ if you make the game so easy it will take a lot of the fun out of it you know ??? just my dumb opinion.......course the tree shaker is way cool especially if you have a ton of trees which is needed with sooo many facilities......to me any way there needs to be a bit of fun........i so miss having plowing races we had on my farm with the repeat plowing i do know it made leveling up too easy but we used it for fun stuff also.....

Stopping chopping down trees is a brilliant idea - here's one more: stop whining for a chainsaw!

Do you idiots clamoring for a chainsaw even know what benefit it REALLY provides in cutting down trees? You still only get one tree at a time; all you gain is that it takes less effort than swinging an axe, and one person can fell a tree. (But it still requires one more to get rid of branches etc)

If you WERE able to get the chainsaw, and could cut down several trees at a time, your additional income from selling lumber would just about cover the cost of the saw.

I need also a 6th farm i dont have more space for trees!!!! Even though i have one wool shed, dairy shed and chicken coop in each of my 5 farms, every one with 100 of each kind of animals i never have enough eggs or milk to use? and the worst never enough yeast to do beer =/

I don't think I can go much longer with out an update! And I hope it isn't just new facilities. I would like to see some game-play changes, like a reorganization of the storage/selling window, possibly having the option to only sell some of an item, not all of it at once. That would be really exciting!

Roving farmer saw the Farm Town update, being loaded on a slow boat from China.

Roving farmer was able to talk to the captain and was informed that he was taking the cargo to Atlantis for placement on the computer servers.

He will be there by Aug. 1, and it shouldn't take any time at all, for them to do there thing.

I'm like a lot of other FarmTown fans and eagerly awaiting a new release from the devs. I have to say though, looking back through the release dates since February this year I think we've been treated to a lot of fantastic new features and enhancements. Long time players will remember the days when things were stagnant for months at a time.

Full marks to the devs for all the tremendous work they've put in this year:)
But of course they're more than welcome to keep the new stuff coming ;)

Why just they dont come and say : Dear farmtown players we apologize for the delay but we r currently working on some game problems or whatever and thats why the update havent still be released...

That is until a glitch is discovered and then we'll hear complaints until it is fixed. Then, when fixed people will be asking for the next update.

Last I heard it was on a slow boat from China???? Oh please don't tell me that the update includes Sharks in the big Sea... the Sharks have attacked the boat and now the update is at the bottom of the ocean?

Can you tell that this game is actually affecting my ability to function as a normal human being (although if you check with my husband - that was always in doubt :rolleyes:).

Another Scottish Night falls and the F5 button has taken yet another pounding... but once again we live in hope .... oh to go back to the days when I dreamt only of plow lines - do you remember those first heady days of Farm Town when you closed your eyes and all you could see was plow lines!

And yes we are thankful for what we have to date; but I also know the developers must be very happy we want more - when they started with 34 Levels they didn't even dream about today where they had a forum full of 'Olivers' saying 'Please Sir, can I have some more?'

The tree shaker works better and gets more trees the closer the trees are together.. I can get the max amount, but my tress are very close :) Hope this helps

for fruit trees, I think it is worth it. Down side of the shaker is I have added so many trees to keep the facilities running since I get them in batches of 32 for 1 click.

have redone the farms over and over. Am doing it again for the trees, moving then into the groves of 32 with 4 tree spacing between groves. Works best for me.

Take a look at my farm 2 this is how the trees need to be to get 32 at one time. You can separate the bunches as I have or bunch them all together but they have to be next to each other with no spaces to get 32 trees at a time.

I have 3,000+ trees on my farm 2 and it used to take me well over an hour to harvest them. Last night was the first time all my trees where ready at the same time since the tree shaker came out. I chopped all my trees (about 100 of them) and harvested all my trees in like 15 minutes. I love the tree shaker it is worth every penny of fc it cost. If you do get it be sure to arrange the trees the right way to get the max use out of it.

Jas, have you looked at my farm 3, Valhart's Orchard, that's another way to set them up also. I can havest 32 trees in one click with the way I have them.
I have 3000 trees on there and room for more.

This made me lol hun xD. Took me about 3 days to do each farm give or take. And it does keep you busy. Because I did trees over crops I couldn't grow anything on that farm until I was done. I used plots to separated my trees with plots while some use paths and I'm not a big fan of decorations. But in the end it was worth it. I love being able to load up my facilities. Comes in handy when you want to have more then one bakery and more then one juice factory. :)

to layer trees over crops you need to plant them first, then hide them.. reload the game i usualy put a dirt path down one time and delete it. then you can plow everywhere.. if you dont delete something first it wont let you plow all spots lol
