We always recommend to not complete the first quest for the new week inmediately after getting farm cash.

Complete a quest means when it gets the green check mark for the last step, not when you collect coins for that quest.
Quests are added to the chart to the day it was completed, not the day you collected the coins.

I usually have 3 or 4 quests open in my quest manager without completing them after collecting my farm cash, but it depends on the date those quests expire.

Just to be clear, you can open regular quests every 20 hours, so 1 per day. So you have to continue opening them but you dont have to complete the first one after one, two days after collecting your farm cash.

So next week when the button turns blue to let you collect cash again, if you had a problem entering the game or you need to complete more quests, then you have enough time without the first quest for the week dropping off the chart.

i was short my first week returning if i held my first few quests longer on returning to game i could probably make 2 fc first week. I'm going try remember this for next time I'm away and return. It seems the quests will be giving you enough time but its a sort of tight schedule.

No, I know I missed the football trophy quest by about 15 minutes (grrr). What I'm saying is that I had 14 quests already completed (coop) and that's what the "Claim FarmCash" number said. I am sorry but it is not my system. If you don't like the way the rules are set then you can make a suggestion. You last received 2 Farm Cash for completing your Regular Quests on 2023-08-21 so it's too early for you to claim for your regular quests again.

Today you earned 1 Farm Cash for reaching level 1219 in the game. Could you have been mistaken about what that notification was for and thought it was for claiming your quests?

You can check this yourself by looking in your Farm Cash Activity Log in the Account section which shows you up to the last 6 months.

To go to your Farm Cash Activity Log, make sure that you are still logged into the website and then you can click on this link: https://apps.slashkey.com/farmtown/settings2/farm_cash/

OR you can click on the Account tab at the top of your game screen. Then click on Farm Cash Activity Log to get to the same place.

That quest is now completed so we cant check what has happened.

I have a quest to harvest cucumbers, so I went to my 4-day quest farm and harvested 6 squares of cucumbers. I then went on to other things to harvest. When I looked at the quest progress, it was showing the peas, carrots, apples, and olives that I need, but 0 cucumbers. Weird. So, I went back to the 4-day farm and harvested another 6 pieces. Still 0.
I don't want to waste my whole batch of cucumbers if they're never going to show up. Any suggestions?

If it is that, then you were harvesting broccoli instead of cucumber.

Please consider that the times we are given you are eastern times for USA.

The quests you see in red are not considered for this week as they were completed and added to your previous week. Both of them were completed before you collected 2 cash the previous week.

So this week and up now you only have 6 completed quests.


Load Tube Fridge Condenser was completed on August 30th (Wednesday)

Make Pallet was completed on August 31th (Thursday)
Make Book Wight was completed on August 31th (Thursday)

Make Barcode Printer was completed on September 2nd (Saturday)

Load Fusion Popsicle was completed today September 4th (Monday))
Make Cheese Fondue was completed today September 4th (Monday)

Im not sure why you are not seeing the quests completed today.

Please run memcache, link below. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and also log out from the website. Then login again and see if you can see the correct quests added to your chart.

Also, be sure that date (day, month, year) and time (hour, minutes, AM/PM) are correct in your computer. If any of them are off, then problems could happen.

The 7 day timer for the Claim FarmCash Button turning blue starts the second you last claimed FC. That's the earliest time you can claim the following week assuming that you completed enough quests.

For your Regular quests you last claimed FC on 2023-09-02 at 00:32:30 EST and opened a Quest to Make Men Bracelet that same day at 10:44:33 EST

You can check that for yourself when you last claimed any Farm Cash by clicking on the Account tab above your game screen, then click on the section called Farm Cash Activity Log or you can click on this link while you are logged into the website to get to the same area. Note that dates and times are always shown in EST:

There is more than one 7 day timer.

When you claim FC, a 7 day timer starts and won't let you claim again until 7 days has passed. That's all that particular 7 day timer is for, it prevents you claiming again in less than 7 days since you last claimed FC.

When you complete the last step on any Quest, each Quest has an individual 7 day timer that starts the second the last step is completed.

A quest will expire when it reaches 7 days old since you completed the last step on it.

So using this example:

claimed FC Mon 10 am
first quest completed after Mon 10am was on Wed at 10am


Next Monday 10 am you could claim FC IF you had completed enough Quests.

By not completing the last step on any quests until Wed 10 am that gives you some extra time the following week after Monday 10 am to claim, just in case you are late claiming or need some extra time to complete another quest to get 2 FC.

As you did not complete the last step on any quest until Wed 10 am you will then have given yourself all of the rest of Monday and Tuesday next week to complete another one as the first Quest you completed on Wed 10 am won't expire until the following Wed 10 am.

The days and times in Show Quests, which are on every quest completed, are there to help you know how long ago you completed it. When a time on a Quest in Show Quests gets to 7 days old that Quest no longer counts.... if you have not claimed by then.


It's the LAST step on a Quest that you DON'T want to complete for at least one or even 2 days after claiming FC. It's quite hard to get 8 quests done within 7 days, some Quests take far longer to do than others and you never know which ones you will get.

If you own the Start or Load tools for the facilities you can remove the check mark on a product made or stocked in a facility to prevent that last step from being completed. You just have to remember that you need to know how long that last step will take to complete so that it's done in time for you to collect your FC and before any of your completed quests get to 7 days old. Then you also need to remember to put that check mark back on the product in the facility so you can continue making or loading it after then.

Let me try to explain what happened as it has nothing to do with the game out of Facebook.

Last week you collected your cash on September 11, at 12:49 eastern time.

You then completed your first quest for this week, that same day at 14.49 eastern time.

Today, September 18, you collected your cash at 15:41 eastern time, so that first quest had already dropped off the chart. That is why you only got 1 cash instead of 2.

Quests are only good for 7 days to the second, then they dropp off the chart.

We always recommend to not complete the first quest for the new week till the next day after collecting cash. That way, in case you have a problem or you cant enter the game on time, you will still have time and that first quest will not drop off the chart till the next day.

I am sorry, but you did not get the 2 FC because you did not collect in time before quests had dropped off the list of completed ones. Quests are only on that list from the time the last step is completed (not when you collect the coins) for 7 days exactly. If a quest is completed at 7:45 on Thursday it goes on thelist of completed until 7:45 the next Thursday or until you collect the FC which ever comes first.

I am sorry, but you were not cheated. In the case you presented the 13th quest had dropped from the list almost an hour before you collected your FC.


Be sure before you try to collect, at the time you are ready to collect that it is showing 13 complete for co-op quests or 8 completed for the regular quests before you click to collect. That was not what you would have seen had you looked at the time you went to collect.

While doing coop quests on my husband's account I tried to send a neighbor the (1) carbonated water they needed and it said he didn't have enough. I checked his storage and he has almost 51K carbonated waters. Any idea what's going on w/that? I've run into the same sort of issue on my own acct when I try to collect something I need from a neighbor's quest and it says they don't have enough. If it was something odd I'd believe it but when it's something like apples I really have to wonder!

Not having access to your husband's account data the only thing I can think of would be he didn't have enough regular Carbonated water to be able to send it. You can not use gifted items when helping in a quest. As far as for your trying to get apples from someone it could very well be they were out or didn't have enough.

I didn't realize you couldn't use gifted items to help in a quest, and I'm sure that's exactly what the issue was!

As for the other things, some of my neighbors don't have very many farms so yes, I suppose it is possible that they really don't have any apples or other common items. It's just frustrating after searching so many people's quests and you finally find what you need but they don't have enough..

My Farmer Squeak farm just got a quest requiring cucumber, ginger and yellowtail. She went to my farm and harvested both crops and did my large sea coast fishing. None of those things showed as being completed in the quest. So I bought her a large sea coast of her own. She fished it dry but the yellowtail still isn't showing on her quest.

I know I need to try clearing my memcache but I always lose that URL. I'll be happy to try that - and a request for those of us who tend to lose things would be to put the memcache link somewhere easily available in the app. :)

Aside from that - any idea why this quest isn't working? In the past, Squeak has been able to harvest crops on my farm and get Quest credit for them.

Did they have the Employee lifeline? If not then harvesting on your farms will not work.
If they did then remember that they only get a percentage of what they harvest, so they have to harvest much more than they need for the quest.

You can find out what you can do with each lifeline in the first post of this thread.

If it is a new seacoast it won't be ready for 8 hours. Depending on what boat she has it may take a while to fish and get what she needs from it.

Her quest is to Make the Yellowtail Sushi. You asked for ingredients to make the yellowtail sushi, so you get yellowtail, cucumber, ginger wasabi. You are not getting the finished product, the yellowtail sushi itself.

If the quest was to Load Yellowtail Sushi, you wouldn't be able to request ingredients that would get you the finished product Yellowtail Sushi as it's not ALSO used to make something else.

It's possible to request ingredients that get you a product that IS used to make something else like Peanut Butter as Peanut Butter is used to make Peanut Butter and J Sandwich.

In this case, if you requested ingredients to make Peanut Butter and J Sandwich you would get peanut butter, bread and strawberry jam BUT you would NOT get the previous ingredients needed to make those finished products like the wheat sugarcane and strawberries.

If the Quest also needed check marks on sugarcane, strawberries, peanuts and wheat you would need check marks on those first, before you could store the ingredients for the Peanut Butter and J Sandwich.


If you open the facility that makes a product click on the question mark and that shows you exactly what you will get when the ingredients are requested.

If you open the facility that makes a product click on the question mark and that shows you exactly what you will get when the ingredients are requested.

Look at it like looking at a recipe in real life. Take something simple like a cheese and ham sandwich. The chances are that you are not going to be making the bread or cheese or ham for it, so you would likely be told the basics you need are bread, cheese, ham.

Here's an example of how the (yellow coloured) Cheese that you can make in the dairy processing can be used to make other meals in FT facilities:

Cheese isn't something you just make and that's all you can do with it. Cheese can then also be used to make a considerable amount of other meals like some pizzas, some sandwiches, Caesar Chicken Salad, Tiramisu and so on.

If you were to request ingredients to make Cheese you only get cow milk as that's the only ingredient needed to make the cheese.

If you were to request ingredients to make Sandwich with Veggies, or Cheese Pizza, as part of the ingredients you get, it would give you cheese as cheese is one of the ingredients in the recipe to make those.

I am sorry no-one was available to answer you sooner. However it wouldn't have made any difference to the 2 Quests that had already dropped by the time you posted on the forum. You had already lost out on earning 2 FC because of being late to claim this week.

Your previous claim for FC was on 2023-10-03 at exactly 15:27:34 EST.

You completed your first Quest for the week that same day at 19:14:55 which means that in order for that first quest not to drop this week, you had to get 8 completed and claim yesterday before that one was 7 days old.

The 2nd one that dropped was already 7 days old today at 11:09:02 EST, so that one had also already dropped before you posted.


To try to help you understand the 7 day timings:

When you have enough quests completed to make a claim of 1 or 2 FC and you click on the Claim FarmCash button, the time counts back exactly 7 days from that second to see what you completed within those 7 days. When any quest is 7 days old down to the second that it was completed it no longer counts.


As it can be difficult to open and complete 8 quests within a 7 day time frame we recommend that you do NOT complete the last step of any Quest for at least one or two days after you claim Farm Cash for Quests. This then gives you more time to get all 8 done and claim before the first quest you completed since you claimed will drop when it's 7 days old. By doing that it can be possible to collect 2 FC regularly assuming that you can get them all done in time.

The exception to that recommendation would be IF you had any Quests to complete that take a long time to complete, like the Aged Wine and Champagne which can take days to complete. You would also need to consider the timings on any quests that have previous steps that may take a long time to complete and make sure that you could get those done before the first one you complete for the week is too old or the time expires to complete a specific Quest.


The Show Quests button is what helps you know how long ago a Quest was completed. When the time on any Quest you have completed reaches 7 days it will no longer count.

Always remember to collect your coins on any Quest you complete so that you can see that time or you will not be able to see it. Not collecting the coins does not stop the 7 day timer on any Quest. The timer on each quest starts the second the last step is completed.

There are 2 types of quests. The one you are talking about is the co-op quests that you get help from your neighbors for and is the lavender colored die.
The other are the regular quests where you have to grow or make the inredients in your own farms aand facilities. For those quests you need to complete 3 (for $1FC) or 8 (for $2FC) in 7 days. The icon for those is the brown coloered die.

Hi Sandy,
I have checked your account data and according to it for this quest you have not completed any steps. To start the turpentine for this quest you have to first complete the crude oil step, then complete the Petrochemical step, before you can start the turpentine.
For the latex have you harvested it on your own farms? If you harvest it on a neighbor's farm then you would have to harvest 10 to get 1 as you only get 10%.

Now I see 6 of 12 steps completed. For the turpentine if the petrochemical plant on the lowest number farm (which is the one selected when you click the open for a step) is already at 100% pending for the turpentine and you try to start another batch when you click it in the facility it tells you that you can not start another batch. When you go back to the quest it will show as started, but then when you close and reopen the quests it will show it is not started.
You have 4 petrochemical plants, so try the other ones through the facility manager and see if one of them can start a batch. If not then you will have to wait until one has finished a batch so you can start one for the quest.

No there isn't any way until it gets under the 1 day. At that time it will change to telling you how many hours and minutes. Please note that quests run on a regular "day" not a Farm Town day.

No you can't get Acai as a gift as it is not a gift in the list. Nor can you buy (procure) the acai in the trading warehouse as that would require the trading lifeline.
You can however, get that by request ingredients for a product in a facility you own that uses the Acai. You do that by clicking on the plus sign in the box for the product that uses that as an ingredient.

I'm sorry, but it is a glitch the developers have not fixed yet.

As it is an intermitent problem then it makes hard to figure out what is going on. Unfortunately we can't change the time for you so you will have to wait the time out.

I'm sorry but quests are randomly assigned, the system/game doesnt know if you have the facilities or not or if you have farmcash to buy them.

No as those quests would have expire. That is 7 days from the time the quest is complete. You can see how long they have been completed by clicking on the Show Quests and it will list your completed quests and a time length from the time it was completed.

The start date/time is 7 days exactly after the last time you collected. If you are going to wait until the next morning to collect this time, then the next one will be 7 days later at the same time in the morning as you collect this week.

Please read the Game Guide chapter I gave you the link to. Much of this is already in that chapter.
You have 2 quests that will be good until the 20th as they were completed on the 13th. You have a 3rd quest that was completed today that you need to collect the coins for. You will not have any problem collecting until the 20th when those 2 will drop off at different times during the day. The button to collect farm cash will stay blue as long as you have at least 3 quests still on the completed list.

Have you read the Quest chapter as Taz asked you?

For quests you have 2 times to consider: the date you get your farm cash, and the date you complete the first quest for the week.

. When you collect your farm cash, next week at exactly the same time the button to collect again will turn blue and it will stay blue for some time depending on how many quests are still available.

Examples (not your times): You collected farm cash on Monday at 9:00 am then next Monday at 9:00 am the button for collecting farm cash will turn blue.

Continuing with the example: if you only completed 3 quests and the first one was completed on that Monday at 10:00 am, next Monday you will only have 1 hour to be able to get your cash. If you enter the game at 10:01 am that first quest for the week dropped off the chart and you will only have 2 quests available so you will not get any cash.

Same if you had 8 and 1 dropped off the chart, then you will only get 1 cash instead of 2


If you completed the first quest for that week on Tuesday at 10:00 am. then no matter if you cant enter the game on Monday, that first quest will not drop off the chart till Tuesday so you will have almost 24 hours to be able to get your cash.

As Taz told you, and it is also explained in the Quest chapter, you can see when you completed that first quest and all the other quest for the week by clicking in Show quests button in your Quest manager.

Are you seeing the Open button on the last step? If not then there has to be a step not completed. According to your account data then only 22 of the 29 steps for that quest are completed. So you have missed something. There are nearly 3 pages of steps for that quest.

I checked your storage and it shows you have 10 of the guards. You should be able to load the service with those. The only thing I can suggest is to restart your farms and see if you can load it after that.

If you do not have enough Farmtown Stamp Roll to load into the Post Office (you need 50), then see if you have more done in the Shipping Supplies Factory.

If you have, then store them and try to load the Post office again.

If you do not have any done in the Shipping Supplies Factory then start some, one batch will take 1 hour to be done. Then when they are done, store them and try to load the Post Office.

With Regular Quests the semi trailer products will always take one hour for the step to complete. What happens when you also own the ordering trailer, which would normally shorten that time, is that you first see the step will take 30 mins to complete, but if you close and reopen the Quest the display will correct back to one hour.

Are you still having problems with this Quest?

The ink & pigments produces the blue ink, it doesn't load it.
If you were unable to start a batch of blue ink or when you did start one the step reverted to not done when you looked again, it usually means that the facility was already producing the maximum amount, so you would need to wait for a batch to complete before you could start another one and then it would count for the quest step.

The pictures are tiny so it's hard to make out but what looks like is happening is that your friend is seeing BUY on the step that you want help with in which case they won't see the help note.

The Quest can't show them both a BUY button AND a help note at the same time.

We have no way to check this. However, they may have had the dot because they had an active quest and it has since been completed and your neighbor bar just has not updated to remove the dot. Try restarting your farms and see if it goes away.

Have you asked them if they have a quest open?

I am sorry but we have no way to check his account as we have no way to search by avatar name. He could have one that is completed but they have not collected the coins or an expired one that they have not cleared. It is possible they have not opened the game in a while, so it has not updated that they have no quests open. There is nothing you can do for thatblue dot still showing up.



When you hover the pointer over the icon on the left for quests does it show a number for regular or co-op quests for completed or expired? You have 1 regular quest that looks like it completed except for you collecting the coins.

When it says 2 days before you can collect it is telling you it is less than 3 days but more than 2 days as in 2 days + hours until you can collect. The same when it says 1 day. It is then 1 day + additional hours. Until it gets down to less than a day they do not show the hours.

Youu do not have to use the fishing pole for the farm pass goals. You can use any of the boats.

I do not see any farm pass goals for fishing in your farms that are linked to your email address here. If this is on another set of farms then you need to provide the ID for it so we can check.


Are you talking about goals for farm pass or quests? If you mean the two quests, no quest says you have to use the fishing pole and you do not have any goals for fish in your farm pass.


You can not use the fishing pole for overlapped waters.

No the fishing pole and most of the smaller boats will not work on your layered seacoasts. Only the larger turbo boats that do an entire water will work on those.

I moved your post to the thread about quests. To make the Red Wine Aged 3 years that you need for that quest you need 6 red wine containers. There are only 2 containers in each batch so you have to make 3 batches to complete that step. Look in the bottom of the box for the red wine containers and see the number there. it will be 2/6 or 4/6 or 6/6. It is morst likely that you did not start all 3 batches at the same time which is why the time is showing a different time of 7 hours and not 6 hours.

Please explain to me why the automatic sending things to factories or facilities. I don't understand this at all. This is not fair to any of the players.

If you ask for ingredients and then you start or load your facilities and services this could happen.

Also, as ingredients have to be asked in order, as soon as you receive the first ones, if you start fsctories the next step using those ingredients is started.

You have the gift lifeline. Buying items from your neighbors does not work with this life line. You can see all the rules for each life line in the first post on the first page of this thread.

You can not buy from them but you can get the soy by asking for ingredients. For instance in this canse you can ask for ingredients by clicking on the + plus sign in the box for the red ink. That request goes to the Other Wall Requests for your neighbors or buddies to click on. That would get you beets and soybeans. That is how you procure ingredients for the gifts life line.

We are not aware of a generic lifeline in regular quests. We know we can get a generic silhouette for a coop quest as a goal for Farm Pass.

Ask your sister to run memcache and see if she gets the correct lifeline.

I'm probably going to get told (again) I'm doing someting "wrong". Doing the Strawberry Vodka quest. I've already harvested once all the ingredients (Mint, strawberries, corn) it requires yet the game insists I haven't I have NOT started any products in my facilities that require strawberries, corn or mint since accepting the quest. Why is the game continually doing this? Also, the game insists I produce "grain alcohol" yet the quest screen shows it finished (green check).

The only step you needed the corn for is making the grain alcohol. If you have a check in that box and the one for the corn then you don't need more corn.

The problem is you have no grain alcohol in your storage. You need to go to the distillery and store the grain alcohol you have finished there. The quests do not automatically store anything you produce in a facility for a quest. If you do not have any of the product in storage then you can't use it in the next facility to produce the next item.

You may have harvested corn, but you do not have any in your storage. If there is no corn in your storage then you can not produce more grain alcohol. Also I don't see any mint in your storage. Without the mint in your storage you are not going to be able to make the mint extract. So you will need to plant more mint and harvest it for that.


Look in the Pending tab of your distillery and see if you have any grain alcohol there that is done. If there is some, then click on the Store button for that product. Then you can go to the food flavoring factory to produce the strawberry asnd mint extracts.

You only started this quest a couple days ago. You should still have time to finish it.

Taz is not available at this time.

Looking at your 2nd picture of the distillery it looks like you have used up all the grain alcohol you previously stored to make other products in the distillery which is why you had none left for your quest steps. It's also possible that you could also have used it by making other products that need the grain alcohol to make them.

If you are still having problems and still need and want to try to complete both of the Mint and Strawberry Extract steps.....

Before you try the following please check that you have some grain alcohol to store BUT do NOT start ANY products in any of your facilities:

Close the facility.


Click on Open on the Strawberry Extract and ONLY click on Start Batch on Strawberry Extract. Do not use the other blue buttons.

Then you should see times showing on those steps for the Mint and Strawberry Extract.

Looking at your 2nd picture of the distillery it looks like you have used up all the grain alcohol you previously stored to make other products in the distillery which is why you had none left for your quest steps. It's also possible that you could also have used it by making other products that need the grain alcohol to make them.

If you are still having problems and still need and want to try to complete both of the Mint and Strawberry Extract steps.....

Before you try the following please check that you have some grain alcohol to store BUT do NOT start ANY products in any of your facilities:

Did you plant and harvest yourself the sugarcane on the farms that you have this quest on? If you did this on other farms you have then you would only get 1 for every 10 you harvested.
Your neighbors can not send you the sugarcane as it is not a gift item. However you can do an ingredient request for Sugar from the Sugar Refinery to get the sugarcane. When you get the sugarcane this way then you need to store it and then start the Sugar in the Sugar Refinery.
It looks like you have most of the steps (10 of 13) done for this quest, so hopefully it wont take long once you get the sugarcane boxes.

Harvest is a generic term. How you harvest anything depends on what tool is needed for harvesting them. In the case of cedar you need to use the axe or a log truck with chain saw.

Did you chop those trees on your own farm yourself as that is required?

That depends on the use you will give to your quest farm.

Most people use the Plower 5x5 so you have 25 spots of each crops.


If you like to allow some of your friends to get crops if they have the Employee lifeline, then take in mind they need 10 spots to complete a quest steps asking for 1 crop spot.

My only suggestion is to place the Ink and Pigment factory in storage and then reload the game.
Then place the factory on a different farm and check if the Red ink can be started.

I visited your farms, and the red ink is in production but nothing is done yet.

If you cant start a batch for it, then post the facility so your friends can work it and you can start a batch for the quest or just wait about 20 minutes and you will be able to start a batch.

Remember to only start a batch, do not use +10 or +30 buttons.

The items you get the green check marks for in a quest are not held separately in your storage. So if you have started a different product in a facility that required one or more of those items they would be used. If those were all you had of that ingredient in your storage then you now have none for your quest.

You do not have any vanilla extract in your storage which is why you can not produce the flan. You need to make and store some vanilla extract to proceed.

If you dont have any cherry tree ready to harvest in your own farm, then you got the Trading lifeline.

Ask one of your neighbors or buddies to sell you the smallest amount of cherries, or you can go to market and ask for the same thing. Remember that both of you have to be on line.

If it is quests, even if they show the picture for a turbo you can produce the item in either. If these are farm pass goals I will move your posts to the Farm Pass thread later.

If this is for the Examination Table you may still need one of the items required to make that roll. Make sure you haven't missed one of those. You need plastizer, salt and petrochemical barrel. Those all need to have green check marks. And that your petrochemical plants are not full for the vinyl roll.

What I see in your data is that you only have 13 of 20 steps completed for the Examination Table. You can only see 12 of the steps without scrolling, so maybe you haven't looked at the ones at the bottom.

If it shows one started, then disappears that means that facility is already full for that product and you can not start any more in it. If you have more than one of those facilities go to your facility manager and try starting one in a different one. Try only starting one of the vinyl rolls, and pay attention to the text that pops up as that will tell you if the facility is full for that product.

As these are co-op quests then you either have to find the item in one of your neighbor's co-op quests or put a help note on them for your neighbors to be able to sell them to you if you have any help notes left. If you are out of help notes on those 3 quests then you will have to find those items in someone's co-op quests to be able to buy them.

I am sorry, but quests only stay on the chart for 7 days exactly to the second. This is why we say to not start the last step of any quests the first day after you have collected your farm cash.

A new 7 days does not start until you collect the farm cash. If you don't collect until the morning then your next one will start at that time, not late at night, but you do not have to collect as soon as the button turns blue.

Lifelines are randomly assigned and not all of them will help you with the step you need.

In this case the Trade lifeline cant help you as you can't buy manufactured products from other farmers, you can only buy primary products like crops, harvested animal products, tree logs, tree fruits, fish and flowers.

You can not buy products made in facilities from another farmer but he exception to this rule is if the product you need is made in a Super Facility.

You can use this lifeline to buy from another farmer that has a Super Facility making the product you need. Example: If you needed FarmTown Beer and someone has the Brewery as a Super Facility, they can sell that product to you and it will count for your Quest.

If you had that farm open waiting for the crop to be ready to harvest, then the stats could show them as ready, but you need to refresh the farm to get them ready to harvest.

Why on most of my quests it says 2 hrs to complete and when I go back to check on it, it's not done and says 2.4 hrs to complete. It's frustrating when it takes 4 hrs for a 2-hour completion. It hurts when you try to complete quests for the week. And yes, my computer is fast enough to hold the load.

If you will hover your mouse pointer over the step you are waiting to complete it will show you the time with the tenths. The large circle with the hours can only show the whole hours.

They can not fit the extra digits on the black circle. The 2.4 is less than 3 and more than 2 so they will show the nearest whole number. That is why to see the accurate amount you must hover over the part that is working.

You have been explained this before.

There is no way to show the tenth in the circle. It only shows the hours.

When you hover your mouse on the step then you will see the hour and tenth.

Again, the black circle cant show the tenth, only the hours.

If the time to complete a quest is for example, 2.8 hours, then the circle will show 3 hours as 2.8 is nearer to 3
If the time to complete a quest is for example, 2,3 hours, then the circle will show 2 hours as 2.3 is nearer to 2

I'm sorry but there is nothing you or us can do about that.

We don't know why but there are a few quests that have that problem, meaning that they show a higher time for an item produced in them.

Developers have been trying to test and fix this, but it is not common and they have not been able to find out what happens.

You need to wait that time for the quest be completed.

Anyway, if you wish, you can report this problem to Support. To contact them click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Please include all details about your problem so you can get help faster. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

You first need to chop Oak trees which you can buy in the store and plant in your farm.

Whenever I get a quest that requires flowers, that section of the quest remains blank showing nothing harvested even though I have done. I have all the required flowers to harvest. The section is often a picture of something unrelated also. The quest will eventually run out of time and dissappear.
All other quests not involving flowers seem to run fine.
Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong here?

As far as we know, there are no problems harvesting flowers for quests.

Do you actually have a quest asking you to harvest flowers? If not, then it is not possible for us to check.
Next time you have a quest to harvest flowers and you get problems, then come to the forum so we can work with you.

If you are talking about Farm Pass feature, I saw that you have 2 seasonal goals involving flowers.
Are those the flowers you are having problems with?

One of the goals is to harvest pink tulips but I was not able to find them in your data.
The other is to water Forget me not with the watering can, you have those flowers on your farms so you can complet it.

You also have goals to water flowers where you only see the watering can. If you hover your mouse on any of the goals, you will get the information about them.

When I went to claim my FarmCash, it only gave me credit for 7 quests (Monday was reset to 0 as it started the new week). That meant I only got 1 FC instead of the 2 I earned (for 8 quests). This needs to be fixed. It is already hard enough to get that many done in a week, especially if you skip the ones requiring you to buy FC items to complete (as I'm saving for bigger harvesting tools).

++I suggested the option to cash in at 8 quests instead of at "any time" otherwise people could get 2 FarmCash for only doing 6 quests instead of 8 if they were allowed to cash in once they get to 3 quests completed.

There is nothing to change here, there are rules to get the cash.

Every quest only is good for 7 days to the second, then it drops off the chart.

The blue button to get cash also turns blue after 7 days to the second but that doesnt mean you have to collect your cash at that moment.

All times I will provide to you are eastern times.

Last week you collected farm cash on July 22 at 04:17 eastern time.

Then that same day, you completed your first quest for the week at 08:02 eastern time, (4 hours later after collecting farm cash).

Today, July 29 you collected your cash at 13:10 eastern time. At that moment, your first quest for the week had already dropped off the chart as for it, 7 days have already past.

To avoid this happening, you do not have to complete the first quest for the new week inmediately after collecting your farm cash.

You can continue opening quests but do not complete the last step till about 2 or 3 days after getting the cash.

That way if you have a problem and you cant enter the game just in time to collect cash, you can wait being sure that first quest will not drop off.

Have had this happen before when was asked to harvest something and wouldn't do it. Turns out was because of an update where the facility wasn't yet released so I didn't own it. I know own it and all working ok again.

I posted out for the red ink (soybean and beet), the carbon steel (graphite and iron), and the tool box (carbon steel). When I got on here tonight, I took gifts out for the ink, the steel and the tool box. I should have been able to then put this into production. WRONG. Somehow some 7+ hours ago (there is now 15 minutes left) something automatically put the graphite into production. I sure didn't because I had already posted out for the carbon steel and I wasn't on here 7 hours ago. I noticed the other day on several quests that I was holding back on things to put either into production or load that just because I had everything, it automatically went into the last step. The developers really should be made aware of this because it throws everything off.

I am not sure what you mean by something put the graphite into production? As long as you have the check mark in the quest for the graphite you should still be able to make the carbon steel. according to the data it shows 4 steps completed which should be the soybean, beets, graphite, & iron ore. Things like the graphite and iron ore I am sure you have those facilities to produce them so if you started your non-workables at some point after opening the quest then they would have already started.

Do you uncheck the last step so on quests so they can not be made when you fill your facilities or services until you are ready to complete them? That is the only way to prevent those from being completed.
The quests can't go into production unless you fill your facilities if you do not uncheck the last step. No one else can start any of those except you or someone logged in as you if you have given out your login information. Super neighbors can not do your facilities.

You did collect your 1 FC this morning for the quests you had completed at 10:14 eastern time today.
The message you saw for the minion quest was telling you it was completed before that time so would not be added to the new chart for this week, not that you would not get your FC. A quest is completed when the last step is completed, not when you collect the coins. That quest completed at 1:33 eastern time well before you collected your FC this morning.

If you do not own the Fish Farming Plant or the Turbo version and you cant purchase it then there isnt much you can do.

Lifelines are randomly assigned same as quests and the game doesnt look what you own or do not own.

The only thing you could do is to ask your farmer friends if any of them got the Fish farming plant as their Super facility for this week.
If you find someone, then that person could sell your the crowfish.

When this lifeline is added back it will allow you to complete Quest Steps by trading goods with other farmers in the Market. This will help if you need a Primary product ( crops, harvested animal products, tree logs, tree fruits, fish and flowers) that can be bought from another farmer . You would need to meet up with them somewhere in the game and both be on line, then they would click on you to sell you what you need.

You can not buy products made in facilities from another farmer. The exception to this rule is if the product you need is made in a Super Facility. You can use this lifeline to buy from another farmer that has a Super Facility making the product you need. Example: If you needed FarmTown Beer and someone has the Brewery as a Super Facility, they can sell that product to you and it will count for your Quest.

The regular/primary products you buy in your Trading Warehouse do NOT count toward your Quest Trade Lifeline.
