I moved your posts to the thread for New Release as it is here where you can post problems and suggestions about this new feature at least for now.

When you get the 600 points and you have collected all rewards then it is up to you if you continue doing the goals.
Points are not carried on the next season.

In case you want to collect the rewards which are blocked then you have to purchase the farm pass.

Please remember that this is the first month we have this feature and we dont know what could be done or added to it.

I have continued to do the quests because I think it might be useful to the Developers to see what a dedicated person can do. It will give them an idea for how many points should be the ultimate goal. I currently have 764 points.

Your goal is to boost friends Enhanced trains. Did you boost the train from your Train Manager?

If you boosted it from your My Request tab, it will not count for your goal.

If you boosted the train in your My Requests tab it will not count. You have to boost it through your Train Manager, and you have to boost it yourself not a superneighbor with privilages to manage your trains.

It is always better to manage your trains through the Train manager. You can boost your friends trains, Dispatch and unload your own trains and also ask for boosts for them. All in the same place.

I've decided to keep doing them - to let my goal be to see if I can get all 3 each day. That's an internal goal - not as much fun - but better than nothing and allows me to keep playing without feeling grumpy about it. I do find I'm not working as hard for it, though. For example, if there's one I could get but it would take some effort (go to the Marketplace, etc.), I'm letting myself slack on those.

I saw DeniseDJ's suggestion that we keep going to let the developers see how many rewards we NEED. Not a bad idea. Although, frankly, I think we should have rewards to match 100% of the possible points earned. I doubt that ANY of us would surpass that. So I'm not withdrawing my request for more rewards just saying I found a way to manage continuing to enjoy playing the Farm Pass thing.

Farm pass lasts for a month.

When you purchase the Farm pass, then the rewards and privilages you get last all the month.

Newly planted flowers come with the water. You will have to wait until tomorrow. Hover your mouse over them without the water can.

You are correct. If you want to get the privilages you have to purchase the farm pass each month and the privilages last for the whole month.

Yes it is once per month.The rewards for the plus amounts last the entire season (month) after you have claimed them.

Hi Susan,
It means friends who play and that includes neighbors. They do have to be sent from the Send Gifts tab. It will not work if you are sending gifts back through the My Requests.

Please allow hiring at the workplace to include the planting of a crop selected by the farm owner. That way farmers with big farms will be more likely to help farm pass farmers fulfill 27 farm bonuses as an example.

hi just want to put it out there about one of the quests for farm pass. This week a quest is to get hired for a job working at least 39 farms in a single hiring session. Have you any idea how hard it is to get a job doing anything never mind 39 farms in one go. This is just a ridiculous quest with limited chance of completing it. Frustrating to say the least - and as I understand it once you get to 600 points there are no further rewards to collect so what is the point of paying a monthly pass if rewards stop once you get those points. This new part of the game seriously needs looking at. I think it will put people off buying farm pass.

There is no way for us to check which facilities have been worked on your farms.

Yes we start over at zero at the first of the month. Each month (season) is separate. All of the rewards currently are 600 points or less.

The goals are assigned randomly, so you could have gotten this one earlier in the month and not had a problem with it. The goals are not checked for how many days are left in the season. So you could get any of the goals at any time during the season.

By the way, you can load and dispatch a ship every 20 hours not 24. You have 24 hours to load it but the next ship can be started after 20 hours if you get the current one dispatched before that time which most can do.



I am not sure what you mean by prior pass as all seasonal goals if you do not complete them in the week they are assigned they stay there until the end of the season. Since this is the first season (month) the farm pass has been released we have not had a prior season.


Currently you can not see who sent you the FC.

I'm not complaining but to get hired for 31 farms in one go at the market only is a right pig. Not everyone has 31 farms, and not everyone has the tools or big tools. It would be nice to allow players to be hired in the Inn too. Or half of the farms that most of the bigger players have which is 44. Can't the maximum be for the Work Farms farm pass be 22 farms at least that will be manageable in one go.

I have found that some of the goals given to me are unobtainable which annoyed me at first but since I maxed my rewards 9 day early I realize that doesn't bother me so much anymore. What get me, however is that if I were to spend $5 buying cash I could get 55 FC while spending $5 on farm pass I can only max earn 5 FC. For those of us playing on a bit more of a fixed budget I don't see the value in farm pass.

Yes any points you have already earned would unlock any rewards up to those points. Keep an eye on the time on the Farm Pass ticket on the left side of your game screen so you know how long is left of the season to be able to claim any instant rewards and make use of any privileges earned.

I had two on the my requests tab recently that didn't show up in the train manager but they boosted when I clicked on them on the my requests tab. I had five that did it this morning. Five more showed up after the two I first mentioned and they showed up in the train manager. Hopefully it's working again. Thanks for responding Tiger. :)

You were hired in the Trade market for that job. You can only be hired in the Job market for it to count. Jobs from the Trade market or Inn do not currently count for the goals.

They are different type of goals. If the goal specify they have to be hired at Job market then that is what they need to do.

For goals that can be completed in your own farms, super neighbors farms or hired by a friend/neighbors then it is not needed to do that from the market.

It will be automatically done. The first one who works your facs and has the trains to allow the mayor do all the farms will get all of your non-workables as well as the rest of your facs at that time. You can't choose who gets them.
It is telling you that it will happen again in 5 days as it is done once a week.

You havent done anything wrong, that privilage will be available once a week during the whole season (month).

Once a week when the first friend works your regular facilities, then they will also work your non workable facilities.

suggestion for pass, a lot of players got the 600 fairly easily even though some task are impossible .... each month have a different goal to keep us challenged, goal can be anywhere from 600 to 1500 ...... i like it now, increases interaction between players, uses all parts of the game

However, today, I checked his farms and found a luxury hotel on his last farm. Most likely it probably was worked.

I moved your post to the News & Announcements thread about the new release where we are keeping all things about the farm pass currently.
For the first one there may not have been any thing left in their luxury hotel by the time you got to it in which case it would not count for your total.
According to your goal you have gotten only 4 of the 37 so there may not have been room to add all of them. You still have time to add more today when there is room in your Sports arena. You do own 3 Sports arenas of which 2 are empty. Try adding the fries to one of them.

I just looked at your data and you did not earn any experience points. You say you were harvested for harvesting and plowing. You do not earn experiece points for harvesting. It does not look like you did any plowing, so doesn't look like that was part of the job.

With the farm pass I will not pay $5 a month for it. You will have to decide how you are going to play the game as usual or change it around. Take freight trains, if 1 is posted on the week okay but daily would be pure luck to get it unless you let them set and not send them on. Only way you could make sure was not send 1 of each engine just keep it

I purchased the farm pass but to be honest I didn't think it was worth it. The rewards were OK it's just that I claimed all the rewards a couple of weeks ago so now there is no point completing any more challenges because there is nothing left to claim.

I think if we are going to pay for the farm pass premium and it's a monthly thing, there should be more rewards to keep us going.

Hi enelyaa,

The devs think is what is causing part of the problem is that you have no room left in your Item Storage and have asked that you try to make room for it before you try this again.

Please open your storage and look in the Item section. Top left you should be able to see your Item Capacity and also your Usage. It will show you that you have more items stored than your current Capacity limit. If you don't want to sell them then the next easiest option could be finding enough clear space on a farm to set enough of them down to get the Usage under the Capacity Limit.

You are talking about 2 different type of goals.

When a goal tells you to go to market to hire or being hired, then you have to do that, the goal will not be completed if you are not hired at market by a stranger.

The other goal is when you can do the job on your own farms, your super neighbors farms or hired by a neighbor. There was a glitch and the goal was not completed if a neighbor hired you so that was the fix.

To be clear, if you need to let say, harvest xxxx cotton and you dont have any on your farms, then you can harvest cotton from a superneighbor's farm or being hired by a neighbor to work their farms with cotton ready to harvest.

I'm wondering if there is an opt out of the Farm Pass portion of the game or a disable for this portion of the game like we have for ships etc. If not, Slashkey, please consider giving us this option. To get rid of the pop up reminders, I've accepted some of the rewards but I'm not at all interested in participating and the pop ups are driving me nuts too. Thanks for many years of a great game, but this is ruining it for me.

I have found that some of the goals given to me are unobtainable which annoyed me at first but since I maxed my rewards 9 day early I realize that doesn't bother me so much anymore. What get me, however is that if I were to spend $5 buying cash I could get 55 FC while spending $5 on farm pass I can only max earn 5 FC. For those of us playing on a bit more of a fixed budget I don't see the value in farm pass.

Goals to work on specific items does mean that only that item in the goal will count.
As as we have 3 pine trees you could get any of the 3 goals for either harvesting small pine trees, chopping pine trees or chopping big pine trees.
The mouseover tooltip should help with that as it will show the exact name of the tree.

Thanks Tiger, it was the gray train, if my memory serves me right... but yes, was able to achieve the goal and not overly worried as it was worth only 6 pts and I had already gone past 600 in pts...1,212 as of today before new month commences... :)

Each to his own MNWildOne. The only ingredients I actually have trouble with are animal products (cow milk, hen egg, sheep wool & rabbit fleece) Even with the privileges I still have shortages. I guess I like the challenges. Cheers! and happy farming!

Your goal is a season goal so you have the rest of season to complete it not just 6 days.

The time in the season goals section is telling you when the next lot of season goals will be added. Any season goals you don't complete this week are not replaced with new ones like the daily goals are so you have much more time to get that one done.

It is possible to get goals like that done within 6 days but that does reply on both yourself and those loading your ship to be able to get it back quicker to unload and dispatch it again.

Im not sure why you cant post at the same times you always did, but the only way to be back to those times is to wait and start again at 1 AM.

From that, be sure to check the Show times to see if they show 12 hours to post ingredients again.

We are allowed to post 5 ingredients requests and 5 bonuses every 12 hours, if you manage to post more than that then we can't help you.

If it is a time sync problem thn it would have to be your computer's time set as the game uses your computer's date/time for any timings.
It could just be the way you are doing those requests that allows you to get to 6, but then you run the risk of Facebook blocking you for a time. I recommend you stop at 5 regardless of whether it is allowing you to do 6.

About your question about flowers, I think you are talking about Farm pass goals and not Quests.

As we do not know what the developers are dealing with behind the scenes then we are not sure when they will get the next release out. They do not tell us what they are working on or when we will get a new release, but I am sure it will be soon. They do try to release once a month, but some things like hurricanes or changing requirements do sometimes get in the way and delay releases.

It depends on where you live, for example I live in South Australia and we are now on daylight saving time so each new day for the Farm Pass starts at 2.30pm .. this means I have all the afternoon and evening and tomorrow morning to do the current goals and know that the new ones will arrive at 2.30pm that day..

When you next open Farm Pass, look in the Goals section. There are 2 times showing. One is for Daily Goals, the other is for Season Goals.

Under Daily Goals the time counting down indicates how long you have left to complete those. When the time runs out the daily goals are replaced with new daily goals. It's sounding like you are starting work on the daily goals not long before they are replaced.

The time counting down in the Season Goals section indicates when you will get more season goals, those you have more time to complete as those don't get replaced until the next season starts.

We can see that you have been credited for watering 15 of the 20 chrysanthemums needed.

Before you try do the last 5 to complete the goal, to be certain that you can water them, mouseover those specific flowers and check that only 3 of the 5 drops are blue.

We have the option to put a check mark for Disable Super Neighbor farming option.
You find it by clicking in the farm name, if you put a check mark to that option then they will not be able to do anything on that specific farm. You have to do that in every farm you dont want your superneighbor work and remember to click in the green check mark to save changes.

Other than that you can only remove some permissions for your superneighbor or remove that person as a superneighbor or talk to her and ask her to ask you before doing any job or make some farms as private farms.

Remember that if she also has the privilage to manage your trains, then anything she does with your trains, will help her to complete her trains goals not yours.

As we do not know what the developers are dealing with behind the scenes then we are not sure when they will get the next release out. They do not tell us what they are working on or when we will get a new release, but I am sure it will be soon. They do try to release once a month, but some things like hurricanes or changing requirements do sometimes get in the way and delay releases.

As you say, we do not know what is going on behind the scenes.
I guess having access to Farm Town is much more important than a new release.

Hopefully it will be less than 48 hours, i'm still waiting for them to fix the problem of not been able to send out boost requests for my trains and i've not been able to send out gifts from my gift page 17 months and counting

I do not recommend that you try this now as you still have access to the game, but when the game is reactivated and it is possible to reload it without losing access to it, you may find that reloading the game will be all that would be required.

If you had the game open by the time it was deactived then that is why you are still on it.
We do not know what will happen to the functions for the ones with the game still open when the game is reactived so you can only wait and see.

I feel your pain. I have a MacBook Pro 2015 so even if I had FT open when FB deactivated by now I would have to have rebooted, so I would have lost my connection. FB freezes up for me every 3 to 4 days.

I have Macbook pro 2018, Mac OS Monterey, processor 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7. I have no problem leaving the game open in Firefox, chrome or Opera. I lost it in Firefox because I did no realize the game was deactivated and tried to send gifts. I had Chrome and Opera running all week. I lost Chrome yesterday when I tried to x out of a pop up notification and it when to another page. Opera is still running.

Please players, have some compassion for the Farm Town developers. Yes, we are all missing our game and may have lost a little real money but the developers didn't do this to us. Face Book has done this to the developers. We have lost a game that we love to play but the developers have lost their business, their livelihood. Think of the hours and money the developers have spent since 2009 keeping this game going for us, what they have gone through to transition the game to the new platform after flashplayer was ended. I believe they are a small company with just this one game so if Farm Town doesn't come back, they have lost everything.

I have just tested it and it isn't giving me any errors.

If you haven't done any recent checks for browser updates and cleared the browser please make sure that you have done those.

If those are already done, also try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached). A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then reload and see if that clears the problem up for you.

Wow quite a few updates to catch up on! I know windows has been flying them out pretty often recently, browsers are also updating more often than they used to. I'm sure quite a lot of people are trying to save energy with the current state of energy prices and are hoping that they will come back down ats some point.

There isn't any way for them to do that as it is set to a monthly season, so all of the rewards and the farm pass have to restart at the first of the month.

I checked and you are right it did not register. Did you maybe unload the trains before you opened the Farm Pass to get the new daily goals? If so then that would be why it didn't take it. Before you do anything else in the morning open your Farm Pass to get the new goals for the day. That way anything you do after that will register.

Your goal is to receive ingredients requests. To be able to receive ingredients, you first need to ask for them.

You can use a regular factory and then click in the + icon for one of the products. You will be able to post to facebook asking for ingredients.

When your friends click in the link or go to Other Wall requests and click in Send Ingredients, then you will be able to complete your goal.

It does, but since sending/receiving gifts is sometimes a farm pass goal, I immediately hit the play button so it takes me to my farm. Then I check Farm Pass and Quests. Then I go back and send gifts.

Friends requesting bonuses will show up in the Other Wall Requests tab as well as on Facebook.

The easiest way to know if you have already sent a bonus to a farmer is to use the Other Wall Requests page. You can get to Other Wall Requests by clicking on My Requests then on Other Wall Requests.

To send a bonus using that section, look for a request that says Get Bonus that does NOT have a pink background, then click on Get Bonus to send them.
A pink background on any request means you have already sent that farmer a bonus.
You can send one Bonus request per farmer.

When you claim that reward, there is no list to choose the neighbor who will be able to work your non workable facilities, just the first neighbor entering to work your regular facilities will also work your non workable facilities.

The only way for them to know they are working the non workable facilities is if they notice that maybe more farms are showing up in the grid to be worked.

Couldn't find where to put this so my apologies. I am almost certain I am meeting daily and seasonal goals, but not getting any of the associated rewards. For example I have watered my flowers multiple times and it does not show I have completed the goal or received the associated reward. There are several others. Am I doing something or interpreting them wrong? Thanks.

I moved your post to the reease thread where we are keeping all the farm pass posts until we get a new release.

The flower watering for the farm pass has to be done with the watering can not the sprinklers.

Another account which I worked has receiving inflatable pumpkins as a gift as one of his seasonal goals for the Farm Pass, but we cannot send them this year! 5 regular pumpkins are listed to send as are Farmtown Halloween Signs that include pumpkins as part of their motif but there are NO inflatable pumpkins in the Send Gifts tab.

I placed some that were in storage from previous years on my farms and they are listed as if they were a store item when using their pull down menu. At the bottom "buy multiple" is listed - making them not a gift at all.
