How do i Opt out of doing the Ships?
If you do not wish to participate in the ships and do not want any ships coming to your port you can do this with the
Enable Ships Preference.
Top right of your game screen, click on the icon that looks like a wrench/spanner. When you move your mouse pointer over the icon it will show Preferences.
To stop seeing Ships on your own farms or when visiting others, remove the check mark for Show Ships.
To close your Port, scroll down to the bottom of the list and remove the check mark for Enable Ships.
When you remove the check mark for Enable Ships you will be asked to confirm.
To Confirm closing your Port click on the green check mark then ALSO click on the green check mark at the bottom of your preference window to save your changes.
When your have disabled/closed your Port you will no longer show up in as an option to use for a farmers Logbook.
It will take time for ships to stop arriving at your port as some may not be checking their Logbooks to see your port is close and some farmers Ships will have already been dispatched so could already be on the way to you.
Those that check their Logbooks will be able to see your Port has a PINK background and if they mouseover your Port they will also see the tooltip that says that your Port is out of Service. If they have not dispatched their ship yet they can swap you for a different Neighbour who is participating in the Ships.
