As mentioned, have a good time. I'm done with it. With people now having 6 farms, good luck getting any workers, LOL! Every time I go to the market to sell I'm bombarded with requests. So much for the good old days.
Simple solution mentioned many times now in this forum. When you go to the markets to sell, simply click the red power tab and go 'off line'. Then the only people in the markets will be you and Tom. Problem of being bombarded with hire requests SOLVED !!!

Also at this point please raise the number of experience points needed per level. Once you have gotten to level 100 or more, with 5 farms, a lot of neighbors to help and numerous facilities it is just too easy to get 10,000 or more per day. I think it should be 25,000 to 50,000 per level at this point.
I don't mind jumping from top level to top level! Reason being, I ALREADY worked for the XP! The challenge has already been done and the new challenge is to collect XP to make it to the next top level when the AMAZING dev's add more. I don't understand why people don't see it that way.

I do agree with you on the 50 levels, that would be nice!

I think players would find that 25,000 or 50,000 XP to get to the next level will be too much. It will make players lose interest. I'm all about business, marketing, and market research. I can almost guarantee if that was in a poll it will be the LEAST chosen option.

Sunny I would think that there are very few people here that think you are an idiot. We all speak (or type) things before we remember that we know where to find the answers sometimes. Many, many people speak (or type) before they bother to think at all, so......

But, these items take a lot of time - a flower has to be painted in six stages.
I did write to Raul three times asking if they were going to use my two designs. They paid FC for the first one, but not the second as promised.

I wish I knew what happened, but give up. This is no way to treat a paying customer - I do buy FC. Not anymore, for this game anyway.

Ya'll enjoy the new designs. I do hope the artists got their fake money for them.

Farm Town Newbie~ I am sorry your experience was not the one you had hoped for. I will say that all things in life effect us much by our own expectations. You did mention being compensated for one of your submissions, so you were not totally ignored? That being just my point of view. You made mention you do this for a living, KUDOS to you, I think that is awesome. I wish I were able to do such a thing. I just love to play in my paint program and enjoy having the opportunity to actually do something that maybe someone could use. You are so right it takes many hours of time. Maybe you feel more disrespected by this because you do make a living at it. Your expectations may have been a bit higher. My expectations on the other hand were little to none and I do it for fun.I can say, of course in an ideal world assuming people have a lot of extra time, and weren't swamped with tons of stuff from many people, more of a reply might be nice. I can only speak of my own experience and would like to say that I felt like Raul treated me very well and spent a lot of time and patience with me in getting things "just right" and compatable with farmtown. I took initative and made up many different flowers in all stages, certainly with no promise of use. I did so based only on his expression of the possibility of them working. So I chose to take the chance and put the time in on them, fully knowing he owed me nothing. There were times over the few months I would not hear back from him for a long time. I had to assume he was busy or decided not to use my submissions, either way I felt happy to have had the opportunity and left it at that. I in no way felt he owed me anything based on the fact that he indicated he could use them. In fact I did not even expect compensation until they were launched. I was thrilled come the time they were ready to be launch. I was, in Raul's defense also more than thrilled with his compensation to me, so in answer I did recieve all and more than expected. Had it gone nowhere, I would have certainly in no way judged or had bad feelings either. I know we all want explaination for things that don't turn out the way we want, but this was not like they were recruiting for a contract job. They were just again offering the chance for people here to be more involved if they had something that could be used. I would say you could look at it in the way of you may have actually got more than many others did. I do just a little bit wonder, if this was something you felt strong about and felt you needed to warn others, why you only bring it up now, after someone else's things are being used? I also am not sure I understand the warning? From what I see you submitted a flower and were paid for it, meaning in FC, which you now seem to mention with distain, although that is all that was ever offered. You then submitted a second flower that he may have asked for, but decided for some reason not to use. You think you would have felt better about that if he wrote you back and said he couldn't use it? Or would that have opened another can of worms? I must be missing something for real here, because I still do not understand what he did or owed you to make you this angry, and why you waited til now to mention it? Please do not misunderstand me, you do have every right to feel what you feel, noone can tell us how we should feel. I just hope a different perspective will maybe make you not feel so slighted or even if you do feel slighted except that and maybe not be so harsh in judging others. I really do believe ALL people do the very best they can at any one moment in life, thats lol not to say they wouldn't do it different one moment later. I am truely however sorry that you gave up on it and have bad feelings. I think it is wonderful for all players to have things special on their farms that they had visioned, and nice to share it. even if they cant draw it to provide pictures in hopes that someone else can.

Maybe we should start an area under suggestions for pictures to be posted of items we would like to see on farms?

Sincerely, Debbie

I agree that I certainly don't mind going from where I am right to top level again. I know I have already put the time in. I see the levels more as a marker or status as to your committment to the game LOL.
I do however agree with a different XP structure as you get to higher levels. I agree with that because as you go up in levels your ability to gain XP points greatly increases. That to me then almost makes it less of a challenge. It was far more difficult for me to gain 10,000 XP at level 20 lets say than at leve 45 etc... once you reach higher levels and have 5 plus farms (coming soon) yeah!! 10,000 in XP is NOTHING! We have to remember that when the current plan was put into place you had only 1 farm and only 34 levels! LOL Okay so that is just my opinion on it, but I am easy lol I just love the game.

Hi! I see your point, that if you have 5+ farms, XP is easily gained. However, you have to remember that even if you are on the top level, there is a neighbor restraint of 30 to get the 3rd farm. Personally, that's not my problem, I have over 60 neighbors. However, many of my neighbors only have 15 or 20 neighbors and they refuse to add people they don't know. Due to the restraint they can't get the 3rd farm without paying farm cash for ALL the upgrades, nor can they get farm 4, 5, or the soon to be 6th farm (I can't wait for it!).

The devs have to put that into consideration if they are to change the XP structure. If they were to take the neighbor constraint off, than it wouldn't be a problem.

I guess I should have stated that in my original post as to why a change in the XP structure would cause users to lose interest.

At least you can hide so you don't hire them again!
OMG what an absolute pain in the backside. This is a perfect example of why I would also like to be able to fire people. I think the primary reason for me though it that I want ot be able to get rid of people that once hired, just come to my farm and just stand around or if they do work they make a big fat mess and never get everything. I usually only hire one person at a time because I prefer to work alone and because I believe that if they are willing to work hard they should be given the chance to advance themselves as much as they are willing to work for. However, it never fails that I have to hire anywhere from 2-5 people one, right after the other, to get the job done because people have gotten so darn picky about what they are willing to harvest and what they won't. This upsets me as much as the other crazy things people do because it seems to me that we should all be grateful if someone is willing to hire us to work for them. After all, they are doing us a favor, not the other way around (my opinion)!

sometimes you get lucky and find a good worker, but not too often.
Does it really matter what crop it is? I mean we need raspberries for our production so it seems to me that anyone willing to go to market and work should be happy to harvest whatever crop the farmer has ready. Besides that coins are coins. 6 or 600 we still get paid to just click the mouse button and every single coin increases the amount we have to put towards crops, farm size increases, purchasing new farms, and hundreds of other things that we need to be able to play the game to its fullest.
