In the seaside town of Newcastle, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated by everyone. Take the path past the Thornton farm and continue up the horseshoe path, past the Emerald pond. Shh, try not to notice the leprechauns and their treasure. Cross the stone bridge and admire the statue of St. Patrick on the cliff above the Irish sea. Go down the hill to the stone path and cross the river in time for mass at the village church. Oh, Sister Margaret is running late. Go on into town and visit Kelly's Inn and Pub, Kathleen and Michael will provide some beautiful Irish music. Shop for provisions and St. Patrick's day treasures. Snap some pictures of the holiday parade and finish up with a pint at Rafferty's Pub. Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
