I thought that if I had the trader lifeline and could find someone with the necessary product in their trading warehouse, and bought it, it would qualify for the quest. I have a quest for produce hotdog that needs ketchup. I have been checking the trade market every day and today I found someone with ketchup and was able to buy it. But it has not checked off in the quest.

Did I understand wrong? the ketchup is in my storage. I reloaded game and ran memcache but no luck with the quest.

As far as we know, the other farmer needs to sell the product to you instead of you buying it from the trading warehouse.

Let us know if you still have problems after the other farmer sells it to you.

I have harvested a crop, chickpeas, and trees, big pine, for two separate quests and neither has been recorded as done. I have enough time to regrow the chickpeas, and the pine isn't a problem either, but if this continues I will not be able to finish any quest that requires harvesting of flowers, fish, trees, or crops. I checked your data and do not see pine required for either regular quest you have open. For the chickpeas are you harvesting those on your own farm yourself? You can not hire someone to harvest them for you. You do have the employee life line for that quest so you could get hired to harvest on someone else's farms but remember that you would have to harvest at least 10 times the amount you need.

Do we have to BOTH begin and end a quest in the same 7 day period in order for it to count as a completed quest? Sometimes I run out of time in the middle of a quest and I don't know whether it will count towards the next period when I finish it.

It's not when you opened or started the quest, it's counted when it was completed.

A Quest is "Completed" the second the last step is finished, which is when you can collect the coins for it.
A lot of people make a mistake by thinking that not collecting the coins on a completed quest will prevent it counting and it doesn't. All that does it stop you from being able to see it on the numbered chart at the bottom of the Quest window.

Any Quests you have not completed the last step on from the previous week can still count for the following week depending on the time left on the quest before it expires, when you complete the last step on it and then the day and time when you next claim your FC.

Whichever Quest you complete the last step on after claiming is the first one that will drop when that one reaches 7 days since it was completed.

The Show Quests button in the Quest manager will show you how long ago a particular quest was completed. When one reaches 7 days it no longer counts so always keep an eye on those times and which ones they are so you know if they are ones you have already claimed for or ones you have completed since claiming. The first Quest you completed the last step on after claiming is the one you want to keep an eye on.

The clock does not seem to be ticking for my Regular Quest, I planted Soybean this morning about 8 am and watered to because I needed it for Quest it is still just over 4 hrs tilt its ready,,, I have felt for a while now that the Quest Clock seems to be very slow moving and find I haven't been able to get the 2 FC,,, because of things like this,, is it just me ??

Im not sure which is your time zone, but take in mind that soybean is a 12 hours crops so if you irrigated that farm, soybean would be ready in 6 hours. If it is 10 AM for you now (just guessing) then times are correct, 2 hours have past and you still have to wait 4 to harvest soybean.

Just in case, please check that your date and time in your computer are correct.

We always recommend to not complete a quest for the new week just after getting your farm cash.

You can get your cash and then open more quests but not complete them till 1 or 2 days after collecting cash. That way you will have enough time in case you cant enter on time.

Just curious, I thought quests were individually done? I have 2 quests and both are to make Red Ink as an ingredient. Anyway I filled one by myself and I was going to work my friends facilities for the other one has the employee lifeline and it filled that one automatically too.

You dont say how many batches you started for the red ink in one of the quests, if you started 10, 30 or All or you loaded all your facs to post facilities, then red ink will be started in both quests.

Anyway, I think it could be the same as when you have more than 1 quest to harvest the same crop, tree, flower etc. As soon as you harvest for one of the quest, the other one also completes that step.

I have checked and you do not have any cabbage in your storage. You may have used it in something else before starting the last step of the quest. You will need to plant and harvest more cabbage then start the last step for that quest.

The quest is showing Cabbage harvested. I guess I did use it on something else before asking for it for the Ukrainian quest. Showing the quest expires in 6.1 days so will make sure the cabbage gets used on the correct quest. Thx.

It does start for both quests if they both require the same thing and have all preceding steps completed. After you have started or harvested the item, then if you close the quest manager and reopen it then it will show it is started in both as long as it is not something you need other items that have not been done yet. If the preceding steps have not been done then it will not start the second one.

For the co-op quests, when you go to load the last step in your own facility it looks to the storage just as it does normally for loading those. The items you get from your neighbors for those quests go into your storage. They are not held separately, so can be used for any facility loading. If you are short of an ingredient then when you load the quest step you may not have enough to do so.

Thank you for explaining the gather/storage process for quests! That helps a lot and I won't growl at the game when that happens again. :D
I also ran a general clean-up program for my computer. It fixed the other issues I was having working the farm in Chrome. I will contact Support for the vanishing harvest issues. Thanks Taz!

I'm sorry but you have not supplied enough information. We do not have access to your super neighbours ids to be able to look at their data and working with a 3rd party often doesn't go well.

Do you mean that they have the employee lifeline but are NOT getting credit for quest steps when working them?

They will need to check the previous steps on that specific quest that has the employee lifeline and see if any are still in progress.

If any steps are in progress (don't have a check mark yet) then they can't use the employee lifeline to get the next step until they have that check mark.


If the previous steps already have a check mark and they need several steps done by working friends facilities they need to work the facilites in the order the the steps are needed.


For example if you had a quest to Load Red Wine Aged 4yr in the Banquet Hall and you already had a check mark for harvesting the grapes, you would need to work the wineries first to get the the check mark on red wine containers then after you got the check mark for those, you then work a Wine Cellar to get the Red Wine Aged 4yr check mark. What you can't do is work the facilities out of order.


If that isn't enough information for you to be able to help your friend please either have them post in the forum themselves with their id and which quest they are having problems with.
Or if they prefer they can contact the support team for help.

For the Apple cider vinegar: does the harvest apples step have a green check mark?

Then if he worked the Winery, does the cider barrel step have a green check mark?

After that, did he worked the Wine cellar to get the Apple cider vinegar?


If all those steps have a green check mark, they he will be able to work the Sauce and Condiments factory to get the Hot Sauce.

He cant work all those facilities at the same time. He has to have all check marks for apple cider vinegar before trying the Hot sauce.

I started the day with 12 and lost one due to age, then completed 2 more to get to 13 and cashed them for my 2 farm cash. I had one pending and that was the chicken coup and this is the one I lost the credit for.

You collected your farm cash for the co-op quests at 8:26 PM eastern time. The quest to Load Chicken Coop completed the last step at 8:15 PM eastern time which is 11 minutes before you collected your farm cash. You can not hold a quest for the next week by not collecting the coins. The only way you can hold a quest over to the next week is to not start the last step.

Did you harvest those flowers in your own farms yourself?

If you hired someone to harvest them or you harvested them in other farmers farm then they will not count.

I keep completing 8, quests, twice now, and the game reduces it to 7 and only gives me 1 farmcash instead of the 2 that I have earned.

According to your data, for this past week, you completed 8 quests of which the first one was completed at 9/5 at 18:43 eastern time. You waited until today 9/12 at 20:41. Each quest is only good for 7 days exactly to the second. That first quest expired 2 hours before you went to collect your farm cash so you only had 7 quests which you got the 1 farm cash for.
For the previous week you did the same thing. The first quest of the 8 was completed 0n 8/29 at 16:07. You didn't collect on 9/5 until 16:42, so again that first quest expired 35 minutes before you collected.


This is why we recommend you to not complete the last step of any quest you want to hold over for the next week until at least the next day after you collect your farm cash.

LOL, I have 1086, haha. still doing them and loving all the extra goods the farm pass gives me when collecting the bonus from work in the Job Market. Its fun doing these daily and seasonal goals..:)

On another issue. I had a daily goal of completing two regular quests. One of the quest ingredients is wheat. Hard to do that in one day as even irrigated wheat takes 19 hours. I tried to use a lifeline. I got the gifting lifeline. I asked for ingredient packages from my friends and I received lettuce (4 hour when irrigated) but no wheat!? Wheat is one of the listed ingredients. How uncool is that?

On another issue. I had a daily goal of completing two regular quests. One of the quest ingredients is wheat. Hard to do that in one day as even irrigated wheat takes 19 hours. I tried to use a lifeline. I got the gifting lifeline. I asked for ingredient packages from my friends and I received lettuce (4 hour when irrigated) but no wheat!? Wheat is one of the listed ingredients. How uncool is that?

I moved your post to the thread about Quests.

That message shows up when you completed a quest in the previous week but you didnt collected the coins thinking the quest would count for the next week.

Every quest is added to the day and week when it was completed. Completed means when the quest gets the green tick for the last step. If you dont collect the coins at that time, and you collect after getting the farm cash for that week then you will get that message to let you know that quest will not count for the new week.

Example: If a quest is completed on Monday, you get farm cash on Tuesday and you collecte the coins after that, then you will receive the message as the complete date is when the quest gets the green tick for the last step not when you collect the coins.

As you claimed FC for co-operative Quests today, we are looking at those for you.

Last week you claimed at 21/09/2022 00:11:03

You then completed 2 quests that day.

This week you were much later claiming, you claimed at 2022-09-28 11:28:24 today.

That is over 11 hours later than last week.

The quests that you completed between 11:03 and 11:28 last week is what had expired as it was over 7 days old.

To give yourself more time to claim the following week so that this is less likely to happen, we recommend that after you claim your Farm Cash you do not complete the final step of any quest until at least the following day.

For example:

If you claim 11am Thursday
Then do not complete the last step of any quest until the day after, at Friday 11am
Even though the Claim Farm Cash button could be blue on Thursday at 11 am
(assuming you had enough quests to claim)

Because you didn't complete that quest until Friday 11 am it won't expire until Friday 10:59 am.
The second it reaches 11 am it expires as it's then been 7 days since the last step was completed on it.

Did you check that the previous steps needed to make the turpentine all had a green check mark?

If it's not that, when you opened the Petrochemical Plant to start the batch of turpentine, was there only a blue start batch button or were there also other blue buttons like +1 +10 +30 and All showing?

If there was only a Start Batch button and not at least a blue+1 showing then the facility was already full so with quests it will show it started the step but then reverts to not done when you reopen the quest.

What you can try are:


have a look in your other petrochemical plants and see if any of those have at least a +1 blue button showing on the turpentine and start a batch in one of those.


If there aren't any, then you will need to wait for a batch of turpentine to complete so the +1 or more is also showing up as well as start batch before you can try starting another batch.

Do the previous steps have a green check mark?

If they dont allow you to start a batch then the factory is full. You could post your facilities to let your friends work them and then try to load only a batch. Do not use the All button for the product. Just start a batch.

Close the quest manager and then reopen it and see if the step is working.

Your goal for ingredients pack is to click in a link from a friend who is asking for ingredients. In your case you have to send 3 ingredients requests to different friends.


The best way for you to find ingredients requests, is to click in your My Requests tab and then click in Other Wall Requests. If you work in another tab sending the ingredients requests,then please reload the game to see if they counted.

What I see when I click on the Claim FarmCash button is the following.
"Less than 7 days have passed, check again in 2 days" That tells you it will be at least 2 more days before you can collect.


It may be that you are to the point to collect, but the button hasn't turned blue. This happens if you are looking exactly at the time you can collect. Try closing your farms and reopening them then check again. If that doesn't work try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

I have just looked at your account data and both of your quest types were collected way over 7 days ago. The problem is you do not have enough quests completed to be able to collect. When you complete enough quests then the buttons will turn blue. It is not telling you how many days because you don't need time before you can collect, you need quests.

For the regular quests you only have 2 quests completed. You need 3 before you can collect any Farm Cash.
For your co-op quests you have 1 completed and another complete that you have not collected the coins for that will be on the chart as soon as you do that. You need 4 completed before the button will turn blue.

The Claim FarmCash button turns blue 7 days after you last claimed Farm Cash regardless of whether or not you have done enough quests to claim FC. All it's indicting is that it's been 7 days since you last claimed any FC for them.

The requirement to be able claim any Farm Cash remains the same:

For the regular quests you still need to complete a minimum of 3 quests and within a 7 day time period, to be able to claim 1FC. (8 completed with 7 days for 2 FC). You currently have 3 completed.

For your co-op quests you still need to complete a minimum of 4 quests within a 7 day time period, to claim 1 FC. (13 completed within 7 days for 2FC). You currently have 4 completed so you need another 3 completed before your Load Elderberry Mead Quest reaches 7 days old in order to claim 1 FC.


The Show Quests button in each type of Quests, when clicked on, will show you your completed Quests, that you also claimed the coins for, along with a time for how long ago each quest was completed.

Keep an eye on the time on both the first Regular Quest you completed and also the first Co-Operative Quest you completed after the game was back online. When the time on a completed Quest reaches 7 days old they will no longer count if you haven't claimed your FC by then.
If you were aiming to earn 2FC those times help you to know if you have enough time to get more quests open, completed and your FC claimed BEFORE before the first one you completed reaches 7 days old.

You have as long as the quest says at the top to complete all the quest's steps including the last step. Then when that has been complete and you have collected the coins the quest is good on the chart for 7 days exactly or when you collect the farm cash which ever comes first.

I am sorry, but the quests are assigned randomly, so you could just as easily get one the only takes a couple hours or one that takes a day or two to complete because of long steps. All of the steps in the quests take ezactly the amount of time listed in the facilities. Your neighbors can not speed up the times for quests by working your facilities.

In the show quests it will show you days only until they get to the last day where it will say 6 days and so many hours. From that you can roughly calculate when it will expire. There isn't any way to specifically tell exactly what time.

I have the same problem with a quest today. The additional production percentage is because of the additional amounts you can get from the Farm Pass rewards. Unfortunately we both will have to wait to start those steps until the percentage drops below the 100% to be able to start any more.

Second shows the Things to Produce, and as you can see, there are no batches available to start for Copper Sheet (or anything else but in the shot you can only see the Copper Sheet item).

If it's only set as a Quest farm, then yes they can work them, as that only prevents you from harvesting any animal sheds on the Quest farm when using the Harvest All at the top of the Facility Manager.

It's when a farm is set as Private that some may not be able to work them. Those that don't own the trains that qualify for the mayor helping with the facility work or those that do own them but are not dispatched would not be able to.

I had to purchase a specialty bread store for a a quest. I purchased it as it was the last step in the quest, low and behold it will not show anything I accomplished in the quest and will not load anything. $50, not to mention the time to accomplish the quest was wasted. There has to be at least one step you haven't completed to get the spiced clarified butter. If you hover your mouse over it then it will highlight the step still not completed in green.

The Po Boy Sandwich has many steps to be completed, some of them using many other facilities and products.

It has 22 steps to complete and you have already completed 15 by the time I checked.
Please scroll down the page for that quest as it is probably one step is missing among all things you have to complete.

For both types of quests, regular and cooperative, you have to collect the coins when the quests are completed and then when 7 days have past you will be able to collect farm cash. So yes, you have to click to get coins and farm cash.

I moved your post to the thread about quests as this has nothing to do with the Farm Pass.
The only thing you can do is to start over doing the quest just as the rest of us have to do. Quests once they expire are gone as there isn't any way we can change that.

I moved your post to the thread about quests. You have as long as your quests don't expire to collect after the button turns blue. You do not have to collect immediately. Mine turned blue last night about 10:00 PM. I did not collect for the co-op quests until this morning and my regular quest not until this afternoon.

For the co-op quests I always have enough as I do 2 a day. For the regular quests I uncheck the box for the last step for any that I am holding over and do not start them until at least 1 day after I have collected.

Your regular quest to Load Dog Muzzle is showing us that not all of the previous steps are completed yet. We can't see exactly which steps those are so you will need to look again. Please reload the game and see if there are green check marks on all of the steps before the final Load step.

Your co-operative quest to Make Dog Muzzle looks ok. They quests are assigned randomly. It does not look to see what facilities you own or what level you are, so you may get quests that you can not complete. It has been that way since the beginning of the quests. It is your choice if you want to purchase the facility and complete the quest or not.
If you want to make a suggestion about this then please post it in the suggestion section.

Hi Zany Clover,

You would have needed the trading lifeline for buying from another farmer to work. As you have the employee lifeline, this is why it hasn't worked.

The employee lifeline lets you work for other farmers on their farms and facilities to get quests steps completed that are not the last step.

For example you could be hired to harvest black pepper and that will count for the black pepper crop. You would need to harvest a minimum of 20 black pepper to get that step a green check mark as you only receive 20% of what you harvest for others.

Once you have the green check mark for the black pepper crop, you could then work friends facilities to get the green check mark for the ground black pepper as long as you had not already started that step yourself in you own spice factory.

What has happened is that shortly after claiming your FC last week at 01:44 EST , you then completed the 1st Quest of your new week within 5 minutes of claiming your FC at 01:49 EST.

That meant that your window of opportunity to claim this week and also have that first quest count before it was 7 days old, was very short. For the quest that expired to count, you would have needed to have claimed after 01:44 EST when you could next claim, and BEFORE the time reached 01:49 EST when the quest reached 7 days old since the last step was completed.

You claimed at 02:44 EST.
As you were unable to claim before the time on the quest reached 01:49 EST, that quest no longer counted towards the 8 needed for 2FC.

We recommend that you never start the last step of any quests shortly after claiming FC for the previous week. As long as the time to get a quest completed allows it, we usually recommend that you don't complete any quests until at least the following day. The exception on when to delay starting that last step would be any quests that take a long time to complete, like some of the aged wine and champagne quests which can take days for the last step to complete.

When you leave a much longer time between when you claim your FC and complete the last step on a quest for the new week, that then gives you more time the following week to claim before any quests would expire for reaching 7 days old since they were completed.

To help you with timings, in your Quest window, the Show Quests button when clicked on, will show you all of your completed Quests that you also claimed the coins for, along with a time for how long ago each quest was completed. When you complete the last step on any quest you must always collect the coins for the quest so you can see them in that section and see how much time is left on each completed quest. Not collecting the coins does not prevent that 7 day timer starting, the timer starts the second the last step is completed.

When you are aiming to earn 2FC those times can help you to know if you have enough time to get more quests completed, and your FC claimed, BEFORE before any quests you completed in the new week reach 7 days old since completion and will then no longer count.

This can happen if your facility is already at 100% or higher for the item. Use the quest manager to try opening the facility and check if the item you need only shows the Start Batch button or if it also shows a +1 button. If it is only a Start Batch button trhen the facility is full for that item.
If you had the Farm Pass reward for the additional percentage of products then those facilities from last month then those facilities can be over 100% which means you will not be able to start anything in those facilities until they drop to less than 100%.

Are you loading the item needed through the quest manager or the facility manager?
Make sure you are not out of required ingredient and that you have all the previous boxes needed for making the item.
If when you try to start an item in a facility, that it has both a Start Batch anf +1 buttons. If it doesn't then you can't start a batch.

I was able to go through the quest manager and start the turpentine for the quest. I find it strange that the other regular quests were started through the facility manager.

Only thing I can suggest is try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

See if that helps. I tried as you said and had no problems. The turpentine is a 6 hour product so you may not have had any available to start at the time. As I said it is best to start a single batch for the quest steps in case it doesn't start right, so you can go back and try again.

If it is a regular quest you make the grain alcohol in the distillery and get the lard in the semi-trailer truck. You own both of those facilities.
If it is a co-op quest then you will need to get those from a neighbor's co-op quest or with help notes.

I've looked at what you have been sold today and none of the crops you were sold are wheat.

Perhaps more than one farmer was trying to sell to you and the sale you accepted wasn't the right one or they sent the wrong sale by mistake.

I've tested selling wheat between farmers both on a farm and at market and what is listed in the sales and the data for those users are showing that the correct item was sold and received.

The only thing I can suggest if you still need the wheat, have ability to buy and want to try being sold wheat again, is that you double check the sale offer and make sure that it is wheat that is being offered before you complete the sale. Perhaps ask them to sell you the smallest amount in case you need to try again.

That farm says it is irrigated and needs 12.5 hours until ready. If you tried to harvest an iris from it tonight then that would not be possible as they were all harvested at least 20 hours ago and irrigated. You will need to wait until they are ready in 12.5 hours from now. I suggest that you only harvest a small amount of those then check your quest to make sure the 1 counted.
We do not have any way to change your quest.

I visited your farm 41 where you have the flowers planted and by the time I visited all flowers, including iris, showed 4.7 hours to be ready.

The only thing I can think about is that the flowers were gone to waste and you watered or irrigated them and they gave you the false impression they were ready.

Please try to harvest only one or two iris after the time has passed and see if they apply to your quest.

What quest are you having the problem with? We do not have any way to go into a quest to see the times or how many have been started for each step.


EDIT: Is this the quest for Make Bellini? If so then the problem you have is you need 10 champagne barrels in order to produce Champagne aged 5yrs and then produce Bellini for your quest.

The winery produce 2 champagne barrels every 6 hours, so if you have 5 Winery you can start a batch in every facility and you will get 10 champagne barrels in 6 hours. If you don't then you will need a total of 30 hours to produce all the champagne barrels you need. The winery is a coin facility.

The thing with the quests that require wines is most of the aged wines need more than 1 batch of the basic wine. So you either have to start enough batches in 1 winery and wait for the total time for them all to complete or use multiple wineries to start a batch in each so the all run simultaneous and all complete in the same shorter time.

One other problem as in your second part about making petrochemical barrels is to pay attention when you go to the facility. If the only button showing at the bottom of the product you need is the Start Batch without a +1 button then the facility is full and you can not start a batch at that time in that facility. It will show that one has started when you return to the quest, but when you close the manager and reopen it will show as not started.

In case you are not reading the previous responses:

When you get a quest to produce items in the winery it is always better to have more than 1 winery.

In your case, you need 10 champagne barrels but the winery only produce 2 barrels in 6 hours.
If you place 5 winery in different farms and start only 1 batch in each winery then you will have 10 champagne barrels in 6 hours.
Please remember that the winery is a coin facility.

If you were trying to load the service facility then you dont have enough Court stams stored.

You have 194 in storage and you need 200 to load a batch.

Your Courthouse facility and service facilities are loaded at 100% and some products will be ready in a few minutes.

How did you harvest the pine cones? The pine cones only come from the small pine trees and are not chopped. They are havested by the tree shaker or the sickle.

Hi Chris,
I answered you in the PM. You do not own the Big Seacoast which is the only one you can get the cod from. That is why you have not gotten one for your quest. The cod you have in your storage must be from working someone else's big seacoasts. Those will not count.

Also..how is a player suppose to complete a quest when some of us do not have the cash means to purchase a semi or train car! I will copy the part you are suggesting coins for farm cash items back to the Suggestions. Please do not post questions or problems in the suggestions section as that is only for making suggestion to change the game.
You must own a semi in order to purchase the meat in it for a quest. If you do then you click on the open button for the meat in the quest. There are many ways to earn farm cash as well as buying it to purchase items which helps support the game.

You can get notice about someone helped you with a coop quests when you buy from them the item you need.


I just take a look to your cooperative quest for Bath mat and it the step for Bamboo log pile is completes and it has 1 help note placed for buying bath mat.

Which kind of quest are you talking about? Regular quests (brown dice) or the Farm Pass feature?

Please remember that to be able to complete a regular quest step by working other farms or working other facilities you need to have the Employee lifeline.

For the Farm pass: you need to be hired at market by a stranger and get the bonus chest in each farm you work to get the Farm pass goal completed.

You can open the Polish restaurant and click in the + icon for Perogies and that way you will requests ingredients.
Take in mind that the Gift lifeline allows you to get gifts and also ask for ingredients.

They will go to your gift box and you have to store them.

Thank you. Yes, I was harvesting on my farm (I have a farm dedicated to Quest crops). I was unaware of going through a restaurant and requesting an ingredient that way. I just looked at the Gift guide and no onions were listed. I will try that! Edit: I just tried it and it worked!! Thank you!!!

Im not sure why the onions were not registered for your quest when harvesting them.

Onions are not giftable, but the Gift lifeline allows you to ask for ingredients or gifts.

I recently had a quest requiring 1 soybean. As I didn't have any soybean ready, I clicked the lifeline and got Employee. So I went to a farm where I am SN (using the web version of the game) and harvested five soybeans. Quest showed 0 done. So I went back and harvested nine soybean. Quest still showed 0 done. Reloaded the game, still 0 soybean done.
I then loaded the facebook version of FT, went to the same farm, harvested five soybean and that step then showed as completed in my quest.
Perhaps there is a problem with the employee lifeline when working as SN in the web version of FT?

You can't open the facility in the final step until you have green check marks on all the previous steps. The mouseover is telling you that you need to complete the steps highlighted in green first.

For crops you get 10% of what you harvest, so for one soybean you would need to harvest 10 of them as a super neighbour.

If crops are fertilised you can get the step completed by harvesting less than 10 as you would get more crops when they are fertilised than you would if they were not.

When you have a quest with multiple products made in the same facility you can only open it when one of those products has all the check marks needed to make it and that step has not been started yet.

For example if you had ONLY got green check marks on soybean and blueberries, you would be able to open the ink and pigments factory using the open button on Produce blue ink which would then allow you to request ingredients for anything that facility makes.

The only thing I can think of that would not always get you the correct amount when items are also fertilised, is if there was any kind of layering on the farm or it ever had layering in the past. That can corrupt the data on a farm which can mean it takes more attempts than usual to get enough to complete the step.

If it couldn't be that either, you've not noticed any slowdown or hiccups when harvesting that might indicate a temporary data transfer issue and you have been keeping up with the routine clearing, browser/computer updates etc then we can keep an eye on that same issue happening to ourselves or for others. What we can't do is give ourselves a particular quest or lifeline to be able to test it. If you do get this problem again please let us know.

I meant I have all my primary ingredients, but as I have the gift lifeline, it should also allow me to click on the 'open' tab on the facility from inside the quest (I've done it before) and then allow me to get the rest of my ingredients. I suggested he try another farm where he is SN, using FT via facebook. He harvested a small number of soybean, and the quest step showed as completed.
If I see this happen with another crop/tree/flower/facility production, I will let you know.

Are you using a saved bookmark in your browser to use the website? It may be worth you both running memcache then logging out of the website, closing the browser, reopening it and then using the Play in FarmTown.com button at the top of the forum to log back into the website to make sure you're both in the current version.

If that doesn't help either then it's time to contact support and let them look into it as we can't test this easily.

You can only open one regular quest every 20 hours so it was too soon for you to be able to open one. Wait whatever time it is showing you now and then you will be able to open the next regular quest.

First of all remember that you can only request 5 ingredients every 12 hours, so make sure which ones you are going to ask for.

To ask in order means that if you do not have blueberries ready to make blue ink, then you need to get them first.
You can open the Ink and Pigments factory and ask for ingredients for Blue ink.
Ingredients (blueberries and soybean) sent, will be in the red gift box, then you have to store them to count for the quest.
When you have that steps done, then you can start production for blue ink which you need for the Quilt.

About your other account. It is not allowed to have more than one forum account.
So if there is a problem with that account, you need to post it using this account but with a link or the user id number for the second account.

You can open the Ink and Pigments factory and ask for ingredients for Blue ink.
Ingredients (blueberries and soybean) sent, will be in the red gift box, then you have to store them to count for the quest.
When you have that steps done, then you can start production for blue ink which you need for the Quilt.

About your other account. It is not allowed to have more than one forum account.
So if there is a problem with that account, you need to post it using this account but with a link or the user id number for the second account.

You can send a request for llama wool if you wish and if you dont have any llamas ready in their buildings.

You only need to be sure what you will ask as you can only post 5 ingredients requests every 12 hours.

I moved your post to the thread about Quests.

Quests are only available for 7 days to the second, then they drop off the chart. Also, they are completed when they get the green check mark for the last step not when you collect the coins for them.
The blue button to collect farmcash will turn blue to let you collect the next week, exactly the same day and same time.

Last week you collected 1 farmcash on June 6th at 20:33 eastern time. Inmediately after that you completed 2 quests, one at 21:34 and other at 22:33 eastern time.

Those 2 quests, dropped off the chart yesterday June 13th exactly at those times as 7 days have past for them.

That is why you only got 1 farmcash today June 14th, when you collected your cash at 06:23 eastern time.

We always recommend to not complete any quest or coop quest, inmediately after collecting your farmcash.
Just try to complete the first quest for the new week the next day after collecting your cash.
That way you will have more time in case you have a problem and cant enter the game to collect your cash in time.

According to your data you collected last week on June 20th at 8:01 PM Eastern time. You will have to wait until 8:01 PM eastern time tonight before you can collect for this week. You can only collect every 7 days to the second.

Tonight my quest had a part that was supposed to finish at midnight. I checked it about 10 til and it said 10 minutes. I checked it five minutes later and it said it would finish in 29 minutes. If it wasn't for the fact that I have waited up to do this, it wouldn't make me upset. I need it to finish a quest before it expires in the morning. Why does the clock reset like that? It's very annoying and it's not the first time. I truly appreciate the fact that the game is continuing on, but this also happened prior to the switch-over. Thanks.

I have moved your post from suggestions to help and support for quests as a regular quest is the only one we can see in progress at this time.
When you need help please make sure you come the Help and Support Section then post in the thread with a title most related to your issue.
When the problem is to do with a quest, you also need to tell us which quest it was and which step has the problem.

Let us know if it's always the same product that does this, and what it is.
After you start a step that tends to do that, reload the game after starting it and see if the time changes on reload.

If you have been playing with multiple tabs open, make sure that you always reload the game after closing the rest.

Also check that your date and time are still showing correct on your computer when you first boot up your computer for the day and if you have not already done so make sure you are also regularly checking and doing computer updates, browser updates and clearing.

I currently have a quest that requires harvesting 5 sheep wool to the subsequently make a sheep wool textile roll. I have a Wool Shed with 37 sheep. I harvested it after the quest was live, but it didn't acknowledge that 37 sheep were harvested; the step is still unfulfilled in the quest.

What did I do wrong? How do I do it correctly? According to what I found, this is the only way to harvest sheep.

I had a look at your data for that quest (Constution Replica) which was opened today, July 23rd at 10:33 AM eastern time.

Your wool shed on your farm 3 is showing 18 hours to be harvested again, so there were not sheep ready when you try to harvest it after opening your quest.
Please take in mind that the wool shed can be harvested every 1.6 days.

You need to wait 18 hours or you can try a life line for that quest and see if that could help you :)

According to the data in your account the parking pass is still not completed. Therefore you only had 12 quests completed. If it was not showing in the quest manager as being started then it will not count. Sorry, but the evidence is not on your side.

I am sorry, but the game and we of course, can only go by the number of quests completed in the quest manager and showing in the data. You say it was completed in the facility, but that is not valid. If your facility was full then you would have to wait until someone worked your facilities or until one batch completed normal time and start another.
It is not a glitch in the factory if it was already full. You can not start another batch until at least one is completed if it is already full. You do have 2 of the Transport Supplies Factory. Did you try in each of them?

You have a second Transport Supplies Factory on your farm 21 that you can start a batch in.
I have looked at your farms and neither one of your Transport Supplies facilities on Farm 4 and 21 are full for the parking pass. Are you sure you are not trying to load it in the Parking Garage? If so you are loading in the wrong facility.

You could try the following: instead of using the start all for that product, just start a batch.
For quests it is always better to use Start a batch as if it doesnt work you can have the opportunity to try again.

Please provide more details on this. From what I see in the account that is linked to your registration in the forums does not show you have tried to collect any farm cash for quests since November of last year.
Please supply your farms ID so we can check on this on the correct account. You can find that number at the bottom of your farms page. Also provide the name of the quest you did not get credit for.

I am not understanding. You have collected the coins for all quests that have been completed.

As far as I can see you have not collected any farm cash for your quests by clicking the blue Claim Farmcash button on the bottom right of the quest manager. Have you tried to collect it?

It is telling you that you do not have enough of that product in your storage. If you have the facility for making those then you need to store what you have completed in the facility, so you can load them in the service.

Please could yu make the wait for a new quest less long. I find this wait makes it almost impossible to finish 8 quests in time. I may be living in the wrong hemisphere as I find trying to start my quests at the correct time is difficult as often they are ready to start in the early hours of the morning. Hope you can help.

Is it completed but you didnt collect the coins?
