Hi Qivis,
All farmers are all of the farmers you have as a neighbor or a buddy. It does not include those who have you as a neighbor or buddy, but you do not have them as the same. If you want to send gifts to those who only have you on their lists then go to the Reverse Neighbor or Reverse Buddy list and send to them from there.

If you want to make a suggestion to change that then post it in the Suggestions section.

In that case I am starting to understand why so many of my friends are announcing they are quitting the game altogether and those who have been away for a while are confused when they have decided to start playing again. The English used is actually quite deceptive and makes no sense whatsoever.

As this term has been used from the beginning of the game for the gift sending and the neighbor/buddy set up has been the same way it is now then I doubt very seriously that it is causing people to quit the game. The only thing that has changed since leaving Facebook is the total number of lists you have available that you didn't have before to show you who had you as a neighbor or buddy that you do not have them as one of them. Before you didn't have any kind of list and no way to send them a gift unless you went to their farm or returning a gift if they sent you one.
As I previously said you can make a suggestion to change that list by posting it in the Suggestions section.

Sometimes when accepting gifts from the gift manager they disappear in between pending gifts and my gifts. They don't go to my storage or to any farm. This happens on both of my games.
Any possible reason?

We do not know why and the developers can't find what is causing it because it is an intermitent problem. Not being consistent means they can not duplicate the problem and we haven't been able to do so either.

Some have said if you leave 1 gift, something you don't want to use like a holiday gift, in your gift box then the others won't disappear. I can not say if this works or not as I have never had the problem and have not tried that.

I think you need them for a goal in the Farm pass feature.

When you need a specific gift, you need the original one sent by your friends, that means you cant exchange a gift in this case for turkey feathers.

But what you can do is the following:

Hi All,
I just wanted to add that, this morning, I had the case of loosing all gifts again, despite the fact that there was a seasonal gift remaining in 'My Gifts' tab.
I exchanged 5 gifts into banana trees and accepted them.
*Poof* they were all gone! There was nothing to collect in the My Gifts tab.
So frustrating!!!
OK it is not a drama to loose 5 banana trees, but the problem still exists.
I don't know if I still have to report this. I did it several times in the past, for my farm and for another account.
But there seems no solution. I know you guys can't help us with this.
I can only indicate that it only happens with the gifts we are asking for.
If neighbours/buddies sent us a gift they choose themself from the gifts list we can collect them all.
The issue is somewhere in the procedure of the 5 gifts we can ask for. There seems to be the problem.



Hi Taz, yes it helps, but we still can loose "a few" gifts.
But this way we can prevent that all accepted gifts disappear.
I had the case many times, then started to keep 1 gift in the 'My Gifts' tab. Occasionally a few gifts still disappear but it is worth doing this "work around".

Hi, it is me again re. the disappearing of gifts.
I did some tests.

The problem occurs when we demand a certain gift. Usually we send out 5 requests of the same item, right? When our neighbours/buddies click on the 5 links we receive them, eventually exchange them and accept them. But then a certain amount can not be collected OR they all disappear completely.

Well, I tested a few things and found a work around:
First thing is to keep a seasonal item in the 'My Gifts' tab. This was suggested by another person and most of the time it helps.
Then, what I tested: In the morning I send out 5 requests for different items (tree,meat,flower,product,crop). Evening, when viewing the Pending Gifts, I exchange them all for that 1 item I need. Et voila ... all pending gifts are collected. Not one is missing.
It might be interesting if other people check this out too.

She did NOT like constantly having the gift box show a counter so the only other option would be to put them on the farm. So now she has 264 extra Clydesdales running around which isn't exactly appealing. I know I can add them to Storage one at a time, but I thought I'd post here to see if there's another solution I'm missing.

There isn't any other way to store animals if you don't own the bulk store.

Yes you would have to put them on the farm first, then use the tower crtane to add them to your storage. They can not be stored directly from the gift box.

Where are the gifts disappearing from?

Is this happening for a specific gift?

Are they sent from your farmers friends or you are getting them from a gift site?

Seasonal gift would be best but we do not have any right now and won't until October. Then make sure you don't store that single gift. Several who have had this problem have done this and it does seem to work. When you get that in your gift box then you should be able to accept and store and store the rest of those you accept.

I moved your post to the thread about Gifts.

When you receive the ingredients you posted, they show up in your Gift manager under your My Gifts tab.

The gifts sent to you, are showing up in the Gift manager under Pending Gifts tab till you accept them. Then they will show up under your My Gifts tab to be stored or used.

See if you can leave a gift in your gift box and do not store it. Let say a hen. Then see if other gifts are showing up.

Your data is showing 2155 gifts pending by the time I checked. Are you seeing that in Pending tab in your Gift Manager?

Are you loading the game through a saved link in your computer?

If so, please do not use it and instead, click in the following link and type your credentials:

If your problems are then fixed, then the saved link was corrupted.

As it is not a gift in that section you would have to do an ingredient request for a product that uses bay leaves as an ingredient.

Well i am still losing gifts after accepting them usually just one or two but today they all disappeared again it only happens about once a month but losing one or two can be daily. After leaving a gift in the gift box i thought that had cured it but it doesn't work. I put up with losing one or two but it is annoying and disheartening when they all disappear. I just thought i would leave you this update on the situation from when i last posted about it.

Since the game is not written for any specific browser then any differences would have to be the browser itself and not something the developers programmed or can fix.
As I said you need to contact Support on this as there is nothing we can do to help through the forums.

I have checked your account data for the farms you have linked here by your email address and do not see anything in your gift box. Please try restarting your farms a nd see if the gifts are now gone.
If this is about a different set of farms please provide the ID number for that set. You can find it at the bottom of your farms page.

You are not saying which amount of gifts is showing up in Pending.

If you are near to 5000 gifts pending, then please try to accept them and see if new gifts go through.

Finally (!!!) thought to Clear Memcache this morning and it looks like I'm receiving gifts again. :-)

Edited: Well, it worked and then it didn't. Stuck at 4490 now.

According to the message you are getting a connection error.

Please close your farms and everything in your computer and then restart your computer. See if that helps you.

If not, then reset your router/modem for a minute and then reconnect.

Let us know how it goes.

EDITED TO ADD: I just tried to send gifts and got the same problem.

Im contacting the developers to let them know.

We are aware of the problem when trying to send gifts/send gifts back from the Gift Manager and send specific gifts using the Other Wall requests.

An error message shows up in the Console and also we get a pop up in the game screen.

We have emailed the developers to let them know.

Finally (!!!) thought to Clear Memcache this morning and it looks like I'm receiving gifts again. :-)

Edited: Well, it worked and then it didn't. Stuck at 4490 now.

I'm still having trouble with my gifts. It will go up -- yesterday I was in the 4800 range, then it went to 4600 and now -- after clearing memcache -- it's at 4,515. I haven't accepted any in a week.

When you use the More option, then you can post asking for a particular gift 5 times.

Your friends will be able to send you those 5 gifts using their Other Wall requests where they will see your request. Please notice that the Yellow gifting machines, doess't allow to send gifts every 2 hours.

If your friends do not own the gifting machines, then they will be able to send those gifts to you every 8 hours.

If they have the Grey gifting machine, they will be able to send those gifts to you every 4 hours.

If they have the Red gifting machine, they will be able to send those gifts to you every 3 hours.

If they have the Orange gifting machine, they will be able to send those gifts to you every 2 hours.

Please take in mind that not all farmers are lot of hours in the game, so no matter they own the gifting machines, they will not be able to send gifts every time allowed.

To be clear, if you use More, then your friends will be able to send you gifts according to the gifting machines they own not the onew you own.

The answer to that is in the tools chapter:
Gifting Machine (Yellow) gives you 4 gifts for every 1 that you accept.


*NOTE* For the tools that multiply gifts This ONLY applies to crops, trees, flowers, animals that can be harvested (horses, cows, hens, turkeys, goats, geese), freshwater bait, seawater bait and production ingredients.

....I recently purchased the red gift machine which should multiply my gifts by 4 however I am only receiving times 3...... I am having the same problem. I paid the full amount to get 4 gifts instead of one each time. It will sometimes short me one or two which it did today. Also, if I have for instance, 50 trees for gifts. I am sorry but we have no way to recitfy this for you. It is an intermitent problem that happens sometimes that some of the older gifts do not work.

Several times in the past few weeks I go to accept my gifts. The first 100 are fine. I accept them. They are in my gift box for me to add to storage. When I go to accept the next 100 gifts, I accept them, but then they disappear. They are not in my gift box or have they been added to my storage. You need to contact Support about this as it is not easy to find out what is happening as it doesnt happen everytime you accept your gifts.

I just tried this and we can not duplicate it. As it is intermitent there is no way to find the problem if it can not be duplicated.

I have found the problem

if after clicking accept all if the gifts fill the gift box in 1 click the send gift back to all button wont appear

i purchased the gifting tools to increase storage from 1000 gifts to 4000 and it has fixed the problem

the instant filling will be caused by rewards being acheived in farm pass 1 and 2 increasing gift multiplyer above the standard gift box capacity

maybe something the devs need to look at

I received 38 gifts today, a couple of which I exchanged. Upon accepting the gifts , I also sent gifts. When I went to my gift box they were not there. They were mostly olive trees and cocoa trees. This is the second time this has happened.

I just checked and all I see in your gift box is an autumn shrub. We do not get data on your accepting or sending gifts nor do we have any way to replace them.



Please try clearing your memcache. You can find a link for that at the bottom of your farms page. This will not return those gifts to you, but may prevent the loss of more in the future.

If you send gifts from the gift box icon to all your neihghbors/buddies before you go to the Other Wall Requests then any gift requests in there will be in pink meanng you can't send them. If you go to the Other Wall Requests first then they will all be in white and you can send up to 5 gift requests to anyone who posts 5.

I just checked data tied to this account and the last farm cash gift received was in October 2024 and it was not a tool.

I just checked and your dad sent 3 gift tools to a different account avatar's name is caitlin. The only thing wrong with that is that account has not been active since Jan 2016.
I suggest your dad report this to Support and see if they will refund his farm cash so he can send those to the right account.

If I have over 50 gifts to accept and I hit change all, it changes them and I can accept the gifts (up to the point of how many we can accept at one time) but the game doesn't give me the option to send gifts back to all like it did before. If I have under 50 gifts then I can accept all and it gives me the option to return gifts to the senders. Please help. This is a glitch, I've been playing the game from the start and I know how to gift. Thank you.

I moved your post to the thread about Gifting.

How long have you been having this problem?
Asking this as yesterday there were issues with the game and one of them was gifting.
If you have not tried this yet, please run memcache, you have the link below the game screen where it says Clear Memcache.
You will see a list of unsettings, close that and restart the game.
Then try to accept and send back gifts when you have more than 50 in Pending tab.

Also remember that if you sent gifts using the Other wall requests, where you can see your friends requests for gifts up to 5 times, then those friends will not be available to send gifts back if you inmediately accept their gifts in the Gift manager.

Chech your times clock tool in your toolbox after you have sent gifts and see how much time it shows until you can resend gifts. It should say 2 hours.

Thank you, Taz. I'd swear it wasn't working, that I'd kept trying to send gifts, and it wouldn't let me until the 8 hour mark. But it did let me send them now at the 2 hour mark and the toolbox clock does mark it as 2 hours. So maybe just a weird glitch, but its working now .

Not all of the gifts do you get the 4 gifts forall gifts. They only apply to crops, trees, flowers, animals and production ingredients. So depending on what you are accepting determines how many you will get.

You can send gifts every 8 hours to the same farmers.

Now if you have the following tools, that time is reduced:

Gifting Machine (Grey in colour) lets you send gifts every 4 hours.
Gifting Machine (Red) lets you send gifts every 3 hours.
Gifting Machine (Orange) lets you send gifts every 2 hours.
