Hi Early Girl,
Mary is not available right now. It could be any of them that could prevent it. The only way to know for sure is to disable all of them and see if it will load the game. If it does then you can add one at a time back and try loading the game. That way you can determine which one is causing it not to load.

That means a needed file did not download from the server. The only things I can suggest is try clearing your browser cache and memcache close browser and then reload to see if it will down load ok.

The link for clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

Thanks I had done both earlier but have repeated. Taking ages to load but fingers crossed it will load eventually. Never had trouble with FB before and now a problem daily. Maybe your staff should work for FB as you solve problems quickly LOL

Yes when you clear browser cache it can take a while to open again as it has to download all the graphics for the game.

Did you use the same browser you play the game with for the test links?


It may be then that you encountered an error while playing the game if both Web Gl versions are working ok with those links. Please try clearing your browser cache, close and reopen your farms. Instructions for clearing are in the following link:

What farm are you trying to lay down the ponds? If it is your farm 6 you may have run out of space for more. There is a limit on how many items you can put on a farm.

When you clear the browser cache then it does take longer to load the game because it has to download all the graphics for the game.

Please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again to see if that helps.

The only other thing I can think of then would be you may be trying to lay the small seacoasts on top of each other when you get the message.

Did you also clear the caches/history and check if Hardware acceleration was still enabled in Chrome?
Have you also done your computer updates and checked for video card driver updates?

If you have already checked the above items, and got you this problem after Chrome updated, do you remember if when you were last able to use that browser if you saw the following in the FT Console?:

LOGWarning: Your browser does not support "WebGL 2" Graphics API, switching to "WebGL 1"

If you were previously limited to using WebGL 1.0 that particular LOGWarning will no longer be showing up in the FT console any more and you will have to use a different browser.

There is nothing to unload. Please be sure your browser is up to date and if you have any pending update for Windows.

Then close and restart your computer.

It is from Facebook and their security changes. There is nothing Farm Town can do about this. The only thing I can suggest is to not open too many tabs at one time or post too many times in Facebook such as sharing your posts from the game to multiple groups.

Please close everything and restart your computer.

If that doesnt fix your problem, then be sure your browser is up to date and you dont have any pending updates for Windows or Mac in case you use it.

If nothing works for you, then clear your browser cache, take in mind that the first time you load the game after the clearing it will load very slowly as all graphics have to be loaded again.

Please make sure your browser and computer system are up to date.
You might want to shut down your modem/router for a couple minutes then restart it to clear any problems within it.
This sounds more like an internet problem as the servers are working correctly. Between you and the servers there are many links that your data has to travel through to get to the server and back to you. Any one of those links could be having a problem which would cause you to get disconnected from the server. Unfortunately there is nbothing that can be done to fix this for you. The only thing you can do is wait for it to clear up.

I loaded your farms without problems.

Are you getting WebGL disabled message? Which browser are you using?

Please check if your browser is up to date and also if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac in case you use it.

If you have added any new extension, ad blocker or antivirus program to your browser then please disable it and then check if your game loads.

If you are using Chrome Browser, do you remember if before getting the WebGL disabled error message, chrome switched from WebGL 2.0 to WebGL1.0 ?

We dont email the players, we answer through the forums.

In the first post, first page of this thread there are instructions on how to enable WebGL.

If you are limited to only using WebGL 1.0 and NOT WebGL 2.0 in Chrome browser then you will have to use another browser, like Opera, Firefox, Edge to be able to load the game.

Im sorry but Chrome is no longer suitable for those that have to use WebGL 1.0
If Chrome is showing updated and the setting for Hardware Acceleration is enabled but when you try to load the game WebGL is still showing disabled then you will have to use another browser.

Last time I used Chrome on this computer was August 17 and there was no message. Tried everything so will resign myself to using Microsoft Edge to play.

My Graphic card has no upgrades.
Google couldn't help with WebGL so changed to Edge as my browser and everything is perfect.
Do believe I will get a new graphics card.
Intel Graphics, 48 45 chipsets has no upgrades.

If that is what you are getting when you are loading, then it could be an internet problem. It could be any one of the many links between your computer and the Farm Town servers may be having a slow down or intermitent drop out. Unfortunately we do not have any way to test those or get them corrected.

It’s been a couple of days not working…I rebooted about 30 minutes ago - no change.

As you are using Chrome it might have automatically updated for you.

Do you remember if when you were last able to play using that browser if you saw this in the in the FT Console beneath the game?

If you would like to check if Chrome needs updating:


top right of your Chrome browser window are 3 dots


click on the dots


scroll down and click on Help


Another menu will show. Click on About Google Chrome.


It will then open a new tab for you in the browser.


If it needs updating you should see it automatically start downloading the update.


If it does not need updating it will tell you that it's up to date and the version it is.

Try closing the tab the game is open in and open it in a new tab.
Check for any browser updates if you haven't already, then even if it doesn't need updating, close the browser for a few minutes and reopen it and that usually resolves it.

Is this only happening in one browser or is it happening in every browser you have tried?
Have you kept up to date with your computer updates and browser updates?
If not please do those and then see if the game will load for you.

If it doesn't it might be that you have an temporary internet issue that will clear itself up. Is there any bad weather in your region? Some countries/areas can have odd issues occur with internet when the weather is bad.

I'm not having any issues loading your farms, they are loading fast for me.

Hi rodkay1,

Some areas in some countries are having problems with bad weather which is a possible cause of slow loading or not being able to load.

I'm not having any problems loading your farms fast.

If there isn't any bad weather in your region or you haven't tried them yet, you could try checking for the routine things like computer updates, browser updates, trying other updates browsers and even shutting down your router for a few minutes then rebooting it and see if it helps you at all.

I played the game yesterday with no problem. This morning I cannot get it to connect online. The box comes up "Reconnect to Mainframe and enter online mode?" If you cleared your browser cache, then the game will load very slowly as all graphics have to be loaded again.

What error message are you getting?


Please check if your browser is up to date and also if you have any pending update for your Mac.

If you have added any new extension, ad blocker or antivirus program to your browser then please disable it and then check if your game loads.

Please check if their are any updates for your Mac operating system as that can also be a cause of this problem. None of us use Macs, so not sure exactly where the problem is.
You can try clearing your browser cache for your Chrome. You can find instructions in the following link:

Please note that it will take longer to load the first time after doing this as it has to download all the graphics for the game again.


Also try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

I got on my farm a little after 8am. I was able to claim coins from quest I started last pm. I harvested then planted for today's quest. all the usual things ...the game slowed to a halt. guess something changed during last update i was away from game a bit. started game a bit different for me but nothing in my game i know of was different. just was re authenicating my facebook profile or something.

It has nothing to do with the update of the game. Sometimes Facebook loses a short cut off your list beause others take it's place. That is not controlled by the game.

Then follow the instructions in the post you quoted. This problem usually happens when your game encounters an error. See if you are always getting the error when you are doing the same thing.

Make sure your Chrome and your computer system are up to date.


If you have already checked the above items, and got this problem after Chrome updated, do you remember if when you were last able to use that browser if you saw the following in the FT Console?:

LOGWarning: Your browser does not support "WebGL 2" Graphics API, switching to "WebGL 1"

If you were previously limited to using WebGL 1.0 that particular LOGWarning will no longer be showing up in the FT console any more and you will have to use a different browser.

I am not sure what to tell you. The problem has to be in your computer. You can contact Support and see if they can figure out what needs to be done.

To contact Support click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

I don't know if this is the right thread but here goes: I just added a couple seas (maybe 4) to my 5th farm and now I can't access that farm. The load bar just freezes. All other farms are accessible. I use Chrome but another user uses edge and that user can't access my 5th farm either. I think I broke my farm. What can I do? Please be sure your browser is up to date and also if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac in case you use it. After an update please restart your computer.

Do you use CCleaner? If so, could you have installed and enabled Kamo? If you have please uninstall Kamo and then reboot your computer as that can cause problems with seeing farmers at market.

Also, some antivirus software are blocking the sites needed for Farm Town. If your Antivirus software is blocking tracking and you are able to temporarily disable that setting you can see if that resolves the problem.

About the fruit stand, you have buildings and decorations unchecked in your preferences, the wrench, just put a check mark to Show Buildings and Show Decorations options and then click in the green check mark to save changes and you should be able to see the fruit stand.

Ya. It appears that the problem fixed itself shortly after I reported it and I was going to delete the post myself but I fell last night and never got to it. Funny to think I started playing Farm Town years ago as a form of physical therapy. Maybe I should start seeing if I can play with my feet instead of waving the mouse around with my hands. :D (Okay. Is this happening when you open the Trading warehouse for the first time to load the the offers?

Or when for example you are at market and try to add more offers?

Is it the same for regular offers and super facilities offers?

Please try clearing your memcache, link below. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farm in all tabs you have the game open. Then reload the game and see if that helps with your problem.

Looks like no one can go into online mode right now. Ran the standard server check for 3 accounts and all of them came up fine with all our chickens in a row, but online mode is simply not working. Of course I am still thankful the developers are safe and well after Ian wiped some parts of Florida off the map....

Are you using a saved bookmark? If so that can change and is not a good idea to use. Instead use the shortcut in the left column of your Facebook home page.

Mine is doing the same thing. It doesn't even show the Farmtown link on my FB feed. The same thing happened to the Angry Bird game. It disappeared too. It was a problem with the FB server. Took awhile, but hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Hi Farmers,

The Farmtown game has been temporarily deactivated by Facebook due to non-compliance with their security policies.

There is just one vulnerability pending to be resolved and we estimate it should be completed sometime today.

After that, we have to appeal to Facebook to activate the app again, which according to them can take up to 48 hours but hopefully sooner than that.

We have been working on this for weeks now but it has been challenging to complete so many changes without affecting the game, hopefully we are at the end of this journey now.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

security issues, FB need to sort their own, a few months back someone from another country was making ads in my name FB then took the $$$ out of my paypal, took me 3 months to sort it out, then they would not let me use my paypal to buy FC, then after another 2 months they finally let me use my paypal again, within 3 days another add was made and they took the $$$ from my paypal again, this time they did not respond to my messages, also since April last year i've not been able to send out boost requsts for my trains or send gifts from my gift page, they have not fixed that issue (I know it also affects a lot of people as well) I have sent many messages about it to FB not one reply or a fix in 19 months.

Farm Town can not move out of Facebook unless you want to play with no neighbors. The company only has the 1 game and this would require setting up their own social network the be able to play. Much bigger companies have tried this, but to have the interaction between players it just is not feasible nor cost effective.

AS someone who does spend regularly for farm cash in this game, I am concerned. I've played this game since 2009, and it is my favorite, so this whole thing seems crazy. I am certain Facebook is partially, if not fully, at fault, and since my payments go thru Facebook pay, I wonder if Facebook gets a cut of these $$$. Why did they have to wipe Farmtown clean off Facebook?? Especially if they do get a cut when we buy farmcash!

Farm Town was not the only game effected by Facebooks decision to deactivate games that had not completed or did not have all of the requested security updates working. There were several games that were deactivated. As soon as they approve the corrections then Farm Town will be back on and available through Facebook.

As far as Farm Town they had already made the security changes Facebook wanted without disrupting your game play, but one did not do what Facebook wanted. They have corrected that now and we are waiting on Facebook to approve it tomorrow.

This is what I asked you to read and did not say click onb my farm link as you can not get there currently:


The Farmtown game has been temporarily deactivated by Facebook due to non-compliance with their security policies.

There is just one vulnerability pending to be resolved and we estimate it should be completed sometime today.

After that, we have to appeal to Facebook to activate the app again, which according to them can take up to 48 hours but hopefully sooner than that.

We have been working on this for weeks now but it has been challenging to complete so many changes without affecting the game, hopefully we are at the end of this journey now.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Farm Cash is purchased through Facebook. The purchase of farm cash has nothing to do with your problem with Facebook and Paypal over purchase of the farm cash nort do the security updates have anything to do with that. You will need to work with Facebook and Paypal for any problems you have with that purchase.

If you had your farms open and have not closed them since the deactivation then they are still working though limited because you can't access others. You did not have to be off-line as all that does is disable the connection to the chat server.

You folks have always been good to your fans. We thank you for that. It is a shame that FB was so harsh with you. I miss my farmer friends. but we are able to communicate through the Messenger app.

At first, I was outraged by FB's stance, but I guess they have been under their own stress to make their apps safe. It is unfortunate that the times we live in causes this much stress.

If you happened to have your farms open at the time Facebook deactivated the game and did not close your farms since then, you could still work your farms in a limited capacity as long as you kept them open. My farms have been open since Facebook took the game down.

There isn't a link to get into the game. The only ones who can still play are those who had their farms open when Facebook took the game down and left them open. If they close their farms then they will not be able to get back in.
The issues with Facebook will be resolved and the game will reopen in Facebook. There are no plans to go independent.

I am sorry, but we have no further update. They are still waiting for Facebook to approve the changes they made to satisfy the security requirements of Facebook.

Anything you previously bought via the game will still be there when you can next load it.

Some farmers are likely to have wasted crops, that has happened in the past when the game has been down for a length of time, so we are not expecting that to change.

That's all the information we can give you at this time.

You still have to wait until Facebook reactivates the game. We can not give you any accurate time for when this will happen.

The information remains the same, Facebook will reinstate the game when they have had enough time to review and approve of the changes done by the devs to meet their security requirements and then it could take up to 48 hours before you will be able to load it.

When it's reinstated the Facebook bookmark will be back and you will be able to use any of the regular methods to load the game.

We need more definitive updates. Yesterday it felt like an inconvenience, today it feels like total despair. Many, many (I suspect) of us are handicapped and use the game to pass the time and bring some to us much some much needed comfort and purpose. Can't believe I am weeping like an orphaned child. Don't know what to do with myself. At the very least we need some kind of timeline.
I have a whole lot of money tied up with the game and need some reassurance.

Mine did likewise, and I was able to work until I had to shut down for the night. WE don't leave our computers on overnite, especially after my power supply sparked up and fried out a month ago. Fortunately we were able to get a replacement part. But I digress!
