I have not been able to work facilities from the Wall Requests on the website.

I just tried to work neighbors facilities through Wall Requests on new website and it did not work. I clicked on the link that says click here nothing happened. How do we go about clearing memcache on website?

I haven't seen this problem posted anywhere so I don't know if it is just something wrong with me. Using a personal computer with Chrome as my browser, while doing tasks on my farm or harvesting crops of neighbors suddenly the whole site goes down and I get this message "An embedded page at l1.slashkey.com says your browser does not support WebGL." I checked and I have the newest version of WebGL. My Chrome is up to date as well. I hope this is a glitch that you can solve because it is very annoying to have to sign back in and find out where I left off .

You will get that message when you get any error that crashes your game. It is not that your browser doesn't support WebGL 2.0, but just means that has stopped working because of the error.
Make sure your computer is updated too. If you have to do any updates be sure to restart your computer.
When that happens please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

First make sure your browsers and computer system are updated. If you do have to do updates then be sure to restart your computer after you do those.
If that doesn't work please try all the Suggestions in the first post of this thread including those in the link in that post.

I also use chrome as my browser and I do not have any problem and have been playing through the website since several weeks.

Please be sure your browser and your computer operting system are up to date.
After any update it is better to restart your computer.

If the errors are now gone it's likely that what happened was the hardware acceleration disabled for some reason. Try just closing the browser and reopening it if it happens again as that may be all you need to do.

If your computer meets the minimum requirements to play and your farms are not very large and layered that's not likely to be the cause. Heavy farms can be slow to load or work on devices that are only meeting the minimum requirements.

Slow connections or any slowdown in a link between your computer and the route it decides to use at that time, to get to the game servers can also cause a slow down. That's not something any of us can control or pin down exactly where the problem is. If it was that then it requires the company that owns the link with the issue to see it and then fix it.

You might want to try shutting down your computer and then also turning off your router/modem for a few minutes then turn it back on. When the router/modem has finished rebooting, turn your computer back on and try the game again.

The reason we occasionally suggest people try this, is that sometimes routers/modems can hang on to data which can slow things down.

Shutting them down for a few minutes gives it time to clear that out.
It's not something you would need to do at all often. Give that a try and see if that helps with your slowdowns. If it does not and it's not going to cost you any money then you could ask your ISP to check the connection to you and perform whatever tests they want to check everything is fine their end.

What they can not do for you is check every connection possible between your computer and wherever you are going on the web regardless if it's the game or another website as they won't own them all.

Looks like it is general. I have gotten it to open in one tab on Edge but as soon as I try looking at anything outside of the Play tab I get the same result. And it took 5 minutes just to open the one.

Along with everyone else, I'm having the intermittent issueof the game not loading. However, BEFORE THAT, I was having problems getting past the screen down below. It just freezes right there. I have installed the new INTEL graphics driver and I have also an app that notifies me if there is a new one.

Do your farms normally load even with that error? That is not an error message. I misread what it said. It is just telling you that it is working. A LOG entry is not an error.

Your farms are loading fine for me. Have you already done the routine things like computer and browser updates, clearing etc? If not please make sure that you do those.

I have temporarily turned off all your show items (crops trees etc) so you have less to load when you next try. If you can load the game now please also open your preferences and make the following changes before you show things like crops and trees etc......

add a check mark to Freeze animals
remove the check mark for Show animals when not at home
then click the green check mark to save the change


Animals can be a huge drain on resources for some computers if they are out on farms instead of in animal sheds and also moving around. See if that helps.

Since I don't know what usual steps you have done, Please make sure your browser and computer are up to date. If you need to do any updates please be sure you have restarted your computer for those to take affect.

Avast is known to block outside links so it may be that it is blocking those. Try disabling your Avast and see if it will load.

For the last month I have been having loading issues, crashes, "an embedded page at slashkey says WebGL ..." Today I was unable to get on at all. My browser was current, I had just cleaned my memecache. I was using Google Chrome which I had done for years.
On a lark, I decided to try a different browser. Not only was I able to load swiftly, I was able to work all my farms, all my super neighbors farms without any problems and quickly. My suggestion is to ditch Chrome and try a different browser like I did.

The other tabs do not require all that the farms Play tab needs to load.


As you were asked in the reply to your first post about this please update your browser and computer system. After you have done that then restart your computer.

Logout of your farms. Please delete your saved bookmark for the link to the login page. Then use the button at the top of the forums that says Play in Farmtown.com. After you go to that login then you can save a new bookmark and log into your farms. That should take you directly to your farms.
Unfortunately the browsers can change your bookmarks to the last thing you were on for a site you have opened. Be sure you always go back to your own farms before you logout when you are finished for the day.

Have you been using an autoclicker? If so then you have had it up a too high a click rate.

One thing I noticed, is you have many animals outside their buildings in some of your farms. Those can affect how your farms load.
You can read about that in the following thread:

Also, you can only have 1 animal building of the same type on a farm. For example in your farm 17 you have 7 Dairy shed but only 1 works, the other 6 are only decoration.
You can move them to other farms where you dont have that type of animal building and then place into them the animals you have running free in your farms.

Hi leighton,
First the memcache does not clear your browser cache as that is not the same and does not clear your passwords. The memcache clears the server data and allows your farm data to be reloaded.
I am sorry, but we can not go back to Facebook as they are the ones that have deactivated the game through there.
If you have had 7 dairy sheds on one farm then you have been wasting the space for 6 of those as they are not holding any animals. You can only have 1 working dairy shed on a farm. The rest do not store any animals nor can they be harvested.
Even though you have had animals running loose on your farms before and didn't have problems, it has always been a problem that can and apparently is causing extreme slowdowns. You need to move the extra dairy sheds to other farms, one on each, and add the animals in those shed if you want to be able to speed up your play.

You have not told us if you checked updates for your computer and your browser or if you followed the instructions given in the first post of this thread.

I hid all Show.... in your preferences, the wrench, to make it easier to load your farms.

See if that helps you, but also check the updates and also try to load your farms in other updated browser.

Try disabling everything that you are not working on at that time.

If at the time of this post you are not able to load your farms at all, we can turn off most of what you have set to show so that you have less to load the next time you try if you wish.

What have you already tried?

Please go to the 1st post on page 1 (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=352666) there are several things listed there that you can try.

For example we can see you have quite a few loose animals on your first and 2nd farms which can be a huge drain on resources especially when you also allow them to roam. Ideally animals should be stored in their animal sheds.

You might also want to try the compressed graphics setting if this issue with loading is happening quite often.

Re the laptop - it is a GAMING computer ( Erazer X7851 with all necessary
requirements - and then some ).. all other pages open without any issues
and I only play the one game (and have done so since 2008)

The browser is Microsoft Edge (I've tried Google chrome as well)

some times of the day are preferable - but I noticed today that
a horse and a Clydesdale gifted to me, ghosted on ALL farms (even my neighbours? )

This can't all be MY fault can it??

It seems a lot of us are experiencing problems?

Re the laptop - it is a GAMING computer ( Erazer X7851 with all necessary
requirements - and then some ).. all other pages open without any issues
and I only play the one game (and have done so since 2008)

The browser is Microsoft Edge (I've tried Google chrome as well)

Did you accept a gift of horse and Clydesdale and place them on your farm or in a building and now you seeing a horse no matter whose farm you go to?

I am not getting any of those errors when loading your farms on Edge.
Have you cleared Edge recently, checked for updates, have you added any extensions to the browser since you started getting this issue. Are cookies still enabled on Edge?

I have checked and you and other 2 users who had problems are located in UK, so maybe there was some kind of issue with internet, heavy traffic or a link was down and you all were affected.

As of Thursday 24th August 2023, the game loads perfectly well in the morning but fails to load (or takes around 30 minutes to load when its successful) in the afternoon/evening. First thing to check if your browser is up to data and also if you have any pending update for your computer system.
After any update it is better to restart your computer.

Your internet may be fine between you and your service provider, but there are many links in the internet between you and the servers, that are located in Dallas Texas in the US. Any one of those links having heavy traffic or problems at those times can cause parts of the game to not load. We do not have any way to monitor or control those links. You do not have a direct link from your service provider to the servers.


Because it is specific times for you that this happens tells me that somewhere between you and the servers there is a link or links that are getting very heavy traffic or a problem with their network that is preventing all data files from completing the download to your computer.


I assure you this is not a server problem as we would have many complaints here at the same time showing here and we do not have those. Also the server tests in the suggestions in the first post show us they are all up and working fine. I am sorry, but there is nothing wrong with the servers and nothing we can do to help with this. The only thing I can tell you is to be patient and hope that the issues with the internet between you and the servers is cleared up soon.

I just loaded your farms with no problems. If there was a problem downloading your CDN data then I would not be able to complete loading your farms. There is not a problem with the server. If there was a problem with the server and that file then we would have many complaining about not bewing to load the game.

If there is a long delay in the transfer of the data through a link then the file will time out and not complete the download.

Yes, this is exactly the problem, the transfer fails, but not because of my connection speed ( 200 Mbps ), or my computer. The transfer fails because there is something wrong on the server side.

If there was a problem with the server and that file then we would have many complaining about not bewing to load the game.

If that file does not download then the game will not open and your farms will not load. As I said I was able to load and open your farms. That file is not a permanent file on your computer as none of the game files stay on your computer after you close the game.


Your link to your internet provider is only 1 link between you and the servers. You do not connect directly to the servers from your computer or service provider. There are many internet links that your data and files have to go through between you and the servers. Those links are not controlled or monitored by your service provider or by Slashkey. Any 1 of those links having problems can cause the loss of data in the transfer.


The posts you are quoting have nothing to do with your problem and past individual problems that have aready been solved. You can find plenty of posts who have had problems at one time or another over the years loading the game. They do not relate at all to your problem today.



I downloaded the file you are questioning and it is 11.432 MB. There isn't a problem with the file size. The problem is you are not getting a complete download of the file when you open your farms.

I have updated chrome and checked the the computer is up to date.
Farmtown opens in firefox just fine. I checked all the other suggestions on page 1, but I could not find anything to resolve this issue.

i get pop up every 10 seconds or so that i'm disconnected but i can still play i want to figure out if it's something between me and farmtown or is it farmtown. it's getting annoying to have to check that popup every 10 seconds or so. i recently installed a vpn not sure thats whats causing it. might tell me best location to route vpn if thats a pausible cause.

If it opens in Firefox then it is working and not a game issue. Did you restart the computer after updating Chrome?

Make sure the cookies & Pop ups are allowed in Chrome according to the information in the following link:

It shouldn't because it just redirects your ip address. Unless they have software to block things like cookies and pop ups or redirections.

If they do then you may need to add exceptions for the various servers the game may need to connect to as well as allowing cookies and pop ups through.

What was the message? It is not spam. They are messages to help with troubleshooting if you have a loading problem to help the developers find the problem if there is one. Only the game program can information in the FT Console.

If you have something else to add when you are posting there is an Edit button you can use to add more information.

It has nothing to do with your VPN program. All that does is isguise your IP address.

It is telling you that you have been disconnected from the servers.Try disabling the VPN, but I don't think that is it. It may be an internet problem somewhere in the many links between you and the Farm Town servers. If that is the case then the only thing you can do is wait until the owners of that link get it fixed.

Just try disabling the vpn and see if that stops disconnecting you from the servers. However, this sounds like you have a problem in the internet links between you and the servers. If that is the case there is nothing you can do except wait for whoever owns that link that is having the problem to fix it.

We dont have an specific time to get this issue fixed, but hopefully in a few hours.

About your other problems, you have to report those users when they are sending you nasty messages or while you are at market. If you do not report them at that same moment, nothing can be done. And please just report them, do not respond to them.

While playing earlier this evening, the game suddenly went offline and, despite many attempts, switching browsers, logging off and back on, the game remains in offline mode and I get a popup telling me to 'click the green checkmark' to go online. That doesn't work and I have not been able to get the game online all evening. I have full access to the web and have had no problem getting to the site (or any other site) and logging in to Slashkey, just can't get the game out of offline mode.

We are all havinng ths problem as one of the servers is down. There is nothing you or we can do until the developers can fix the issue.

I have tried loading my Farmtown game but a pop up keeps coming up to click on the green circle. This has been happening for about a week but I was able to keep playing just by clicking on the green dot. Today, I cannot get on at all since the notice keeps coming up in spite of clicking on the green dot. I have tried another browser, Firefox, and it has done the same thing. I am now using Chrome. Apparently it is in my computer somewhere but I have absolutely no idea how to fix this. My ID is 1078040666. Thank you for your help.

It is still up working. You may be having a connection problem but it is not the server. Possibly an internet link some where between you and the servers.

Looks like the usual 10 minutes of inactivity before being disconnected has been shortened to about 30 seconds for me. It does not appear to be happening to other accounts which I have {or a friend's account I have kept going since she has not logged in for years but trusted me with her login back when the game still did not have a vacation mode / Super Neighbors.} I had assumed the Windscribe VPN had something to do with it until I noticed this was not happening to other accounts on the same PC with the same VPN engaged or disengaged. It is odd, weird, strange, off the wall (check your thesaurus.) :D

Try clearing the memcache on that account. I don't think it would be anything on the server shortening that time.

If it is only one account doing this then it may just be an internet link somewhere between you and that account causing you to drop connection.

Make sure your computer and browser are both updated. If you have to update either please be sure to restart your computer for those updates to take effect.
Please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

The game was just taken offline for maintenance. Please if you see this do not bother the Forum Moderators about it since it most likely effects us all. We will just have to be patient and wait until it comes back since often the moderators will not know when it is expected to come back. We are aware the servers are down right now.

The developers were doing some server optimizations and it did not work correctly. This was not planned to be a down time for the game.

Estimate for correcting this is an hour but may take longer.

Please be patient while the developers work to get this corrected and the game back on line for us.
