Are you using a saved bookmark to load the game? If so try using the button at the top of the forum. Bookmarks can end up getting changed or not updating with the latest release.


If that doesn't work then please contact Support about this as we can't reproduce it. To contact Support click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

When I am in and looking for gifts, on facebook I show 69 gifts pending. Log in to framtown.com there are only 29. This is happening every day, what is going on?

The gifts you have in Facebook are not shown in the website version nor are the ones in the website shown in Facebook. They are 2 totally different groups of gifts.
You have to accept the ones showing in Facebook from the Facebook version and accept the ones showing in the website from the website version.

Hello there,

So I am not able to send FC gift card to my friend. it says i have reached the limit of 500 FC, but i havent. I have only sent 1x 250 FC gift a few months back. i built up another 250 FC to send it but I can not. Can someone help me on the matter?

I am writing this on behalf of my friend who is unable to send the gift to me.

Ideally the friend with the issue should be posting the request here themselves.

From what I can see of the farm cash gifts you have been sent by different farmers you have not only been sent Farm Cash Gift cards, years prior to that you were also sent Farm Cash tools or facilities. Without you providing the ID for the account with the issue I do not know if it's one of those that has the problem.

Please either provide the USER id for the account that can't send you a Farm Cash gift or if they wish, they can contact the support team themselves to ask. If they would like to contact the support team ask them to load the game in whichever version they are using Facebook or the Website and scroll down past the game screen and the yellow box under it and click on the word support.

Hi Wasoof,

They have sent you far more than they remember.

The majority was done back in 2019 and was a gift card, facilities and a turbo fishing boat. The most recent gift card was sent 20 July this year.

Those all add up to 489 Farm Cash which why they won't be able to send any more until they meet the criteria to send more than 500 FC

I'm using the SK gift manager; and, I sent (yesterday and today) gifts to "All Farmers". But when I went to exchange gifts, the "Send Gift Back" came up. Yesterday I didn't pay too much attention but tonight I noticed that one person (Jenn) came up with a send back to -- She is on my neighbor bar so I'm kind of baffled. I didn't check the other 2 that were still pending. I went back after completing the All Farmers to each individual group but there was no one on any of the lists. Just wondering what happened. Thanks.

Hi Lynntimpeiro,
The all farmers list may not include those that are one way neighbors or buddies. If that is the case and they sent you a gift and you went to return them one then they would show for the Send Gift Back.

Thanks Taz -- just another quick question on same subject. I just figured out that some of the new friends had sent on the FT version. I just cleared all my gifts from there and sent back to mostly new friends. Would that have anything to do with it?? Thanks again.

I have the gifting machine that allows me to send gifts every 2 hours. I sent them over an hour ago, yet my Game Clock still shows I have to wait 2 hours to send again. I have cleared my meme, but it is the same. Is there anything else I should try before I contact Support? This also happened Friday after working correctly plenty of other times. Thanks

Hi Early Girl,
There is nothing support can do to change that. If it has been slightly under an hour since you sent them then it will still show 2 hours. That won't change until after it is less than 1 hour as the Show Times does not show minutes.

Thanks Taz, I understand no minutes. It reads within 2 hours. But I sent them over an hour ago. (I set an alarm when I finish). According to my alarm, in 14 minutes it will have been 2 hours since I sent. But my clock still reads within 2 hours.

Hi Early Girl,
The only thing that can cause those times to be off is your computer's time set. If your computer date and time were not correct at the time that you sent them then it corrected then that can throw those times in the show times off.

Try in 14 minutes to send gifts again.

I was wondering if it works the same as the facility wall - where we have to have an 8hr cool down period before working any facilites again. I exchanged and sent a couple of gifts via the FB page after I finished sending gifts - so it would reset to 2 hours from that point. Even though the couple I sent had not been sent gifts.

If you sent gifts back from Facebook then yes it would have reset at that time. No it does not work like the facilities. You should still be able to send gifts to all except those 2 after the 2 hours since you first sent them from the website.

The posts are still showing, but it isn't enabled as yet, and to send those gifts from the gift manager is very difficult, as you have to note who wants what, then find them in the gifts manager. Also, we used to be able to select who saw posts on the wall, but that is not available on the new version, so that would be a really useful feature to have back!

I moved your post from Suggestions to answer you. That feature was released on July 18th.
EDIT: It does work, but you can't right click on it. Use the left mouse and it sends it. When you send gifts it only sends to them. If you send ingredients or a bonus then you can right click because it changes the page showing how much you send and how much you get.

As the free gift sites are not controlled or own by Farm Town. They have never been incorporated into the game.

I can receive gifts on slashkey - your directions say to send gifts on Farmtown on Facebook but when I go to do that it says Farmtown not found, I have enabled all my cookies, what am I doing wrong? It looks like facebook has taken the game away. Thanks

Please read the Announcement at the top of any section of the forums. Farm Town has been deactivated on Facebook by Facebook. You can only use the website now.

I posted on this before but didn't have enough info for you. When I send gifts, I use the default of All Farmers; select the gift; and, send 50 until everyone is sent to. I have one neighbor (been neighbor for awhile now) Vicki and one buddy (newer) Gia who do not show up until I go to exchange and accept gifts. Once I accept gifts, I get the message of wanting to "send gift back". With Vicki, this has happened 5 or 6 times; Gia only this time (it could have been one of the times I didn't think to scroll down). I'm not sure how to correct it so that they are included in when I do the mass sending (btw, I love it). Thanks.

my name is robert hi, i'v been playing this game from this time it started, i'v put alot of time building my farm's and spent alot of money. and with the free gift it help me alot, now the free gift's have been taken away the game is not so appealing. it's not just the free gift's even if i did not use them i new they were there, i bought most of my farm item cause at the start you had to plow one at a time. after a bit i started buying untill i had all. now i wait just for the up date's so my farm wil grow, i have 44 farm's and working on 15 & 16 60 x 60, i will buy the 250 farm cash so i can buy farm curret upgarde 60 x 60 for farm $60, all this leeds up to, are you going to put the free gift's back on as every wher i ture i am blocked from receiveing free gift's, so i am asking for all farm maker are going to help us out, or your not going hlp us at all, sorry for keeplng on it must be asked, ( Slashkey ), wait to here from you, regards robert,

The free gift sites do not belong to nor are controlled by Slashkey. You will need to contact the administrators of those sites about whether or not they are able to continue providing those. They are not part of the game.

If the link shows Facebook instead of Slashkey.com then no those won't work as Facebook has blocked those from opening.

Is there a way to put gift items directly into my storage? The need to place them on a farm before getting them into storage, for later use, is a slow process. Please give some thought to this (my) problem. Thanks for all you people do for Farm Town and keep it up. Thanks again.

I moved your post to the Help & Support thread about gifts to answer you.

What are you wanting to put into storage without putting them on your farms?
You can store ingredients, animals and plants directly from the My Gifts gift box. The blue button at top right has a drop down that allows storing all of those types of items.

Hi Tominator,
I moved your post to the Help & Support thread about gifts.

You are allowed to gift only Farm cash purchased items. If you have just started through the website, then you can only send the value of what you have purchased in farm cash.
You can not purchase and then send them to someone else. You have to use the send button in the store to gift them directly to them.

Hi, I sent gifts over an hour ago (I have the gifting machines). It was down to resend again within 38 minutes. But when I exchange, accept and resend gifts, it resets my clock back to 2 hours. You said that would only apply within FaceBook. So, with the gifting machines, or not, does someone need to NOT do anything with gifts within the allotted time?

I did not say it would only be in Facebook. You had said you sent gifts back in Facebook after you had sent gifts in the website and that would reset the time. You have to wait 2 hours from the last gift you sent or returned.

So I can send and recieve ingredients once every 12 hours or something. so these items are both coming from what i do on the 'My requests tab'? my recieve ingredients is always checked i guess neighbors dont send it enough or im not requesting it enough. theres like a cap on this i guess but its like several times?

You can only send ingredients 1 time in 12 hours to any one person. You do that by clicking on their post for those ingredients in the My Requests/Show Other Wall Requests.

If you want ingredients for a product then you have to request those by clicking the plus sign in a facility for that product. You can do this 5 times in a 12 hour period.

There is a limit in value as to how much you can collect from other's posts and from your posts in a 12 hour period. That limit is a total of both those you send and get half and those you request that are sent to you.

thanks taz i just might need work harder at getting more neighbors to reach my cap on receing ingredients. hope you have some good times. farm towns been much better for me because of these forums.

Hi, I have 140 neighbors and buddies, but when I send gifts, I only have 138 on my All Farmers list. So there are 2 farmers who do not get gifts from me. I haven't yet figured out who those 2 are. Why are they not all showing up in my All Farmers list?

Hi Precious In His Sight :)

According to your data, you have 138 Neighbors and 2 Buddies. There is no way for us to check how many gifts you are sending or whom you are sending those gifts.

Are you sure you are using the All farmers option? Maybe you are using the My neighbors option instead?

Could it be possible that you sent gifts to 2 neighbors or buddies, maybe a specific gift requested in Other wall requests, before you started sending gifts for your farming friends?

If you havent sent gifts to any of them, then when sending gifts, be sure the All Farmers option is set. You could use the Select 50 button.
Having 140 neighbors/buddies, you should click in that button 3 times.
It should show 50 gifts were sent twice for a total of 100 farming friends and the last time, when you click in Select 50 only 40 should show up.

When you say yes to all of that, then when clicking in Select 50 button, you send to 50 farmers twice and the last time it says 40?

If that is correct, then you are sending to 140 not 138

The number you see in the neighbors bar below the game screen says 139 as you have 138 neighbors but you are included so it is 139 in total.

Please after sending gifts, then select a new gifts and see if any farming friends are showing up in the other different options.

As I said before, if you sent 2 gifts before you start sending to the rest of farming friends, then that is why it shows only 138 and not 140.

That email will have your ticket number and a link for you to check the status of your ticket, so please do not delete that email. If you do not see the email then check your spam folder as sometimes those emails get classified as spam.

Then maybe you are using the My neighbors setting and not All Farmers setting and explains why you are only sending to 138 which is your amount of neighbors.

Or you are using Recently sent to which only lists your neighbors as those are the ones you sent to.

Ok, try clearing your memcache, link below. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and logout of the website.
Then reopen the website.

Open your gift manager and click in the Send gifts tab. Select a gift.
When you get the page with All farmers, scroll down the page to the botton.

The All farmers option, shows alll your neighbors first (138 and blue background), then your buddies (2 and green background) and then your facebook friends if you have any in the list (white background).

If you still only send to 138 neighbors, then please report that to Support.

Hi peekachoo,

Over 1600 Pending and you will start running into problems with no more gifts being added. If you get to over 1000 then the safest thing to do is start accepting them.

There are a few things to keep in mind if you are not accepting gifts daily or get a considerable mount of them daily:


The amount of Neighbours and Buddies that you have, that could be sending you gifts either daily or multiple times a day. Some farmers will have the gifting machines that allow them to send every 2 hours so some will be sending more gifts daily than other will be able to.


Pending gifts that are not accepted in a 60 day time frame will be removed automatically.

Telling us his name is not going to help. We do not see your list of neighbors in the data we have. We do not get any data on the gifts you have sent or to who.
If he is a neighbor then he should be showing in the My Neighbors list. If he is not showing in that list then it may be you are his neighbor but he is not your neighbor.

I am sorry but we have no way to check this.

Please have your neighbour check in 2 places if they can see their avatar name as a missing avatar name can cause a problem with names showing up on lists:


please ask them to check and see if their avatar name showing up underneath their avatar when they load the game.


in the Account tab, Profile section the Avatar name should not be blank. If it's blank then thy can add one there and then click on change to save that change. They will then need to reload the game to check the change has been saved and to see if their avatar name is showing up underneath their own avatar.

You would then also need to reload the game after they make those changes, before you check if they are showing up on lists.

Hi Precious In His Sight :)

Then please send them a message and tell them that if they dont see a name in their avatar in the farm, then click in Account tab above the game screen.

Under Profile Section they will be able to type a name for their avatar. Then they have to click in Change button to save changes.

They have to reload their farms to see the changes in their avatars.

when farmtown was in facebook we had the option of ignoring gifts or we could receive them - now that farmtown is its own website i dont see the option anywhere to ignore gifts (meaning that we have to accept them) - am i missing the option of ignoring gifts? i am one of those people that doesnt accept gifts very much and would like to ignore gifts if i want to

I can't say I have ever heard of gifts being delayed except when you have not refreshed your game at any point by clicking play or closing it and reopening. The game does not update those except when you reload.
We have never had any reports of this, but we will try researching this.

We will research this, but as I said we have never heard of gifts being delayed. Since the gifts are completely within the game now there should be no delay as was possible through Facebook.

Hi Rodkay,
You can not yet remove them from the Facebook friends list. That list cannot be updated by the game since we have left Facebook, so even though you have removed them as friends on Facebook they are not removed from that list.

Since they still show as farmers then they will still show in the all farmers list until that function is available.

I moved your post to the Help & Support thread about gifts. Please do not post questions in the Suggestion section, but instead post them in the Help & Support section in the appropriate thread.
You ask for a specific gift the same way you have before except they do not post on Facebook. The request does post in the Other Wall Requests part of My Requests that all your neighbors & buddies can see.
You do this by having the gift you want in your gift box. When you hover over that gift then you will see a button for More. Click on that and then post the request

Slashkey and Farm Town do not own or operate the free gift sites. They are not part of the game. You will have to contact the administrators/owners of those sites about anything in relationship to those sites.

Invariably there will be anywhere from 2 - 6 or more that will pop-up with "Send Gift to" meaning that even tho they are listed under neighbor or buddy, they were not included in the original gifting. I did a little checking and, even tho theses ppl have had an avatar name for a long time (as long as I've had them as friends/neighbors) it is removed and all that shows is "(Jeanne)". Today I had 9 that the avatar name was removed and all that showed was their name in parentheses. I clear the memcache before starting to play each day - should I be doing it before I do gifts? Thanks.

If you can contact those farmers, please let them know they have to add an avatar name.
They have to click in the Account tab above their game screen and type the avatar name under Profile button.
Then they need to click in Change button to save changes.

Or maybe Carol noticed there was no name for her avatar and added it again.
We have had some complains about not getting gifts or train boost requests and when we checked no avatar name were showing up.

Once they added it, all went back to normal.

You need to send the gifts after purchasing the Gifting machines so the new time will show up.

if they are, can someone provide some directions for an old fellow, who isn't exactly 'computer literate'? (i used to log on to facebook, open a new tab and go to the 'free gift' site of choice, and the gifts i 'accepted' would be in my gift box when i opened the game - but i'm not sure that would work if i have the game running already)

If you need information, you have to contact the sites owners or administrators.

I play on my phone so I am limited to what I can do... I am losing gifts. I send out about 150 gifts almost every day. Usually I get approx 70 gifts back. The last few days I have only been getting about 10 gifts back and then they disappear. Help pls. Here is the link to my farm if needed. And before it's asked yes I cleared my memcache. Like I said tho Iamplaying on my phone not a computer.

What I see in your gift box is only 2 hazelnut trees, so it is not that your gift box is full though I would suggest that you move those to your storage or your farm.

The problem of the disappearing gifts may be that you are playing on your phone since that is not supported by the developers.

However, I have been receiving very few gifts. There has been a drastic change in the amount of gifts showing up in my gift box, which I check several times a day. I have also spoken to a couple of my FT neighbors, and they are experiencing the same drastic change in the number of gifts they receive. I also noticed today that there are fewer names showing up when I go to send gifts, AND I have ALL FARMERS checked when I send gifts. I usually send the first 50, then go back in and send the second 50, and then go back in to send the last dozen or so. Today, there were fewer names showing up in my SEND GIFTS section. Is there a current issue with this part of the game? Thanks in advance!!

We are not aware of a problem with sending/receiving gifts at the moment.

I sent gifts as usual this morning and again after lunch and I had no problems, I saw the same farmers in my lists.

Please remember that if you sent gifts from the Other wall requests due some of your farmer friends were asking for specific gifts, and then go to the Gift manager to continue sending, then your list will be shorter as you have already sent gifts to some of those farmers.

Open your tool box and click in the show times icon, the clock. Then under Gamewide check how much time you have to wait to Resend gifts option.
Be sure you have a green check mark for that option before sending gifts.

When you have the green check mark, then open your Gift manager and see if your list is the same you usually get.

We are not able to see how many gifts you usually received and how many you are receiving now.

Let us know if you still have problems getting a shorter list :)

Hi Conjetta,

If you have friends that normally gift daily or multiple times a day it may be worth you asking a few of them if they still are sending them. As we have just had a new release with land upgrades, valentines gifts as well as the usual facs it may be that they are just busy with modifying farms and have forgotten about sending gifts.

As long as you are accepting pending gifts regularly you should not run into any issues with the oldest gifts being removed once they are 60 days old or for having over 5000 gifts pending.

Im sorry but I was not able to reproduce your issue.

By the time you accepted the trees, the My gift tab was empty or it already had other gifts you had previously accepted?

Asking this in case you received the message that the My gifts tab was full and then a problem happened.

As you know there is no way for us to give you those trees back, but you could contact Support to let them check further in your problem.

To contact them click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Please include all details about your problem so you can get help faster. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

Im sorry but I was not able to reproduce your issue.

By the time you accepted the trees, the My gift tab was empty or it already had other gifts you had previously accepted?

Asking this in case you received the message that the My gifts tab was full and then a problem happened.

As you know there is no way for us to give you those trees back, but you could contact Support to let them check further in your problem.

When you request a specific item on the FT other requests wall, a farmer can post a request 5 times, and it appears on the other requests wall 5 times. My question is if I click on all 5 requests does the farmer get 5 of that particular item or just 1. Thank you :)

When you send gifts back to those whose gifts you have accepted you will not overload their gift box as those all go to pending gifts.
The send gifts back is not in the Gift box. It should be showing in the pending gifts when you accept them. So when you accept each batch of 50 gifts then you send back at that time.

Hi, in the last week I noticed several times a problem while accepting gifts.
This evening, again, gifts "disappeared" somewhere between accepting them and going to the "My Gifts" tab to store them. This time it happened with Glads. On the "Pending Gifts" tab there were 74 pending gifts. I exchanged them all for Glads (5x) and accepted. I went to the "My Gifts" tab and there were 360 Glads. As far as I know the original 74 gifts x 5 should give me 370 Glads. So I lost 10 items somewhere on the road.
This is not the first time I noticed this. It happened before with trees too.
Did other people noticed this too?
What should I do about it? Call helpdesk?

There is a limit as to how many items can be in the Gift box at one time. If you exceed that limit then those gifts that exceed it will disappear. For things like flowers and trees I would only collect 50 then store them that way you don't lose any.

Sorry to step in and answer you as well but it is sounding to me like you feel somewhat responsible or pressured by others into to doing some of this and may be part of the reason for some difficulties with your current method. I apologise if I am mistaken about that.

As other members will be able to read this and may still not know the maximum the gift box will hold is 5000, I am also listing another reason when gifts will be removed.

What happens when farmers reach the maximum is that the oldest gifts are are automatically removed and if it's been quite some time since they accepted any, the Pending gifts that are not accepted in a 60 day time frame will be also be removed automatically.

Other famers not accepting gifts is not your problem when they choose not to accept them and then end up with a full gift box and/or lose them due to amount and time. That is their choice.

What you want to do yourself is always your choice, so I am only suggesting some options you may not be aware of or may not have tried yet.


To address the Return to ALL issue when you choose not to accept gifts often:

When you are not accepting gifts often what happens is you can end up with multiple gifts from the same farmer. When you first use the Return to All you won't have already sent a gift to any farmer that day so then that button will show up.

BUT when you Accept more gifts if a farmer gift is at the top and you cant send one to them due to having already sent one then the Return to All won't show and that's why when you scroll the list you would have to send back one by one or use a different method to send them.

Having said that, it is possible to still get the Return to All show up despite that. It will be up to you to see if the method I will show you would be one you want to try or use and it if it works every single time when your gift box is full as well. Mine is not full, I like to accept & return often, so I can't be 100% sure.


On a new day OR when your time is up to be able to send gifts to everyone.

Accept and return to All the first page of gifts.

DON'T click on Load More Gifts to see more gifts.


Instead, go to MY gifts first and Store what you just accepted.


THEN go back to Pending Gifts and when you accept the next lot of gifts even if a farmer is at the top who you already sent a gift to, the Return to ALL button should be showing up when you Accept them.




Sending Gifts if you do not want to do or try the above method:

Using the Send Gift section you do not have to only use the Select 50 at the bottom of that window.

When you pick a gift to send, you can use the filters at the top to change the list to show various farmers like like Recently Sent to, Farmers Helping me. There are quite a few so you will need to look and see if any of those would better than your current method of just sending to all 50 farmers that show up without using those filters.

That could also be quicker than using the search box to type in specific farmers names so that you only see those farmers then you can use the button at the bottom to send to just those farmers.

This is not something we can try for you as you may want to do different things at different times or different days, you may have more farmers to send back to than at other times, but it's worth you having a look.


If those methods are not suitable for you, you can always post in the suggestions areas (https://r1.slashkey.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2) and request and additional filter in the Farmers Lists to use which we don't have at this time. In your case it sounds like you would like one that was along the lines of "Sent me a Gift Today". The developers will look there and it will be up to them to determine if it's possible to do and they want to add it.


The only thing I can recommend to prevent your gift box being full all the time is that you do exchange and accept at least a couple of pages when it is full so you don't lose them.

It's always also possible that if not all your farming friends are getting a gift from you daily they may also choose to do the same thing as you are, and not send you any as they have not received one.

Remember that some farmers can send gifts every 2 hours if they want to and those that don't own the gifting machines can only send every 8 hours.

You could at times be missing that some have actually sent you a gift recently but it's not immediately in view when you are only accepting one page of gifts so it's possible that you could get stuck in a loop with some farmers and that neither of you happy that you are not getting a gift when the time comes that you or they really need them.

I am sorry but the gifts sites is not owned or affiliated with Farm Town. We do not have anything to do with them, so I can not tell you how or why you can not get to the site. There isn't anything we can do to help with this.

Please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

Yesterday I accepted many gifts including many Zinnias and Gerber daisies. When I went to my gift box to start planting them, and the trees I received, all the flowers and other gifts I accepted were gone. They never went in my gift box apparently, even tho I stored my ingredients before acceting.Now I noticed this morning Gerber daisies and Zinnias are gone from the gifts. I haven't noticed if other items are also gone but it looks like some trees may be missing as well. I hope this is just a temporary glitch.

It is possible that it was a temporary glitch because the release was done last night. Those flowers were move to only the store. You may have also tried to over fill the gift box which does end with losing gifts because they can't fit even if you have accepted them.

This morning I had 247 pending gifts. I exchanged the first 100 to potatoes and accepted. I am pretty sure I accepted because I had no potatoes in storage. I sent a gift back. Went to the "My Gifts" page and there was nothing. Again. I cleared memcache and all other things one can clear on his pc and restarted the game. But the 100 gifts I accepted were lost in the void.
Then I continued accepting the 147 pending gifts and that went normal. Wow, lucky me lol
Something is wrong in the procedure of accepting gifts.
Can someone please shove this "bug" under the eyes of the developers?
I already reported it a few weeks ago, but the bug comes back, and not just for me apparently.

We don't know who told you what back then.The only thing I can think of would be these may be some who have you as a neighbor or buddy that you don't have as one of those. So 1 way connection. If it will let you send them back one then do so.

I collect a page of gifts and then send back but when I go to collect nothing appears and if I click Load more gifts it doesn't load but gives me the same ones I previously accepted except for that I never collect so they keep reappearing.

It tells me I have 53 pending gifts...which is normal. But when I click on it to retrieve them, it says there are none! Why can't I get my gifts out of there?

Also, I have tried all week to take gifts in my storage and place them into a farm. I can get new ones from the store with no problem but not stored ones! What do you suggest?

For the first problem, there is a banner above the game screen explaining that:

Hello Farmers, accepting new gifts is currently disabled due to a bug, will be enabled again tomorrow. Thank You.

For your second problem, you need an empty space to be able to put them on a farm. You have to show everything in your farm to be sure you are not trying to place them on top of other item.

If you are using the Purple hand, then you need at least an empty space the size of a pine tree to be able to place the stored item.

The game is a US game, so obviously would be US time. Exactly when they will have it fixed and release the fix only the developers know so no we do not know exactly the time they will release it.

I know there was an update about the gifts having a bug. I just checked and I noticed I was able to receive my gifts but when I went to look at them the weren't there.. Is the bug still getting fixed? And will I get my 100+ gifts??:confused:

these are not working right. if I exchange or accept individually I get the gift in the gift box. but if I use exchange all tab, then accept all. none of the gifts go into my gift box.

I just did what you described and all gifts exchanged and then accepted where in the gifts tab.

Are you using the Exchange all button or the Last Exchange button?

What gifts did you exchange all?

Please accept the gifts you have in the My gifts tab.

Then run memcache, link below. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farms in all tabs you have it open. Then reopen your farms.

After that, use the Exchange all button and Accept all and see if the gifts show up in your My Gifts tab.

I moved your post to the thread about Gifting.

Which button is greyed out? "Exchange all" button or "Last Exchange All" button?

If it is "Last Exchange All" button, then it is that way till you have more than 100 gifts in Pending tab and you Exchange all 100 gifts first.

After accepting those, then the Last Exchange All button will be available for you.

I've unchecked the 'Seasonal Gifts' checkbox' so as not to see the seasonal gifts but they won't disappear even though the box remains unchecked. I have restarted the game but have not memcached because I havent' found a way to do that since we went on-line. How do I keep from always seeing them. Thanks

I would suggest you bookmark it after you run it the first time.
You need to uncheck the box for the Seasonal gifts for them to not show.

I close the Gifts Manager 'window' and the icon at the bottom of the game has a white on red "1" indicating I have one type with any quantity in my 'my gifts' section, but when I open it back up, still empty, reload the game and still empty and that "1" is then gone... I've witnessed this on other players' accounts, doing the same thing, so, it appears to be a game-wide thing, just happens fairly randomly/not every time.... seems to have started about 1-2 months ago...

I checked your storage and you only have 6 mulberry trees there, so they didn't go into your storage. I can't tell you where they went. If that number is still there then I highly suggest you clear the memcache as what that does is force the server to reload your account data and cleans up any stray wrong data. I would run that and then exchange for the mulberry tree again but only accept a few of them and see if they get through to the gift box.

re. the disappearing gifts, I have that too!
I already reported this several times to the helpdesk, for myself and for another account I have.
It happened again today, changing all the pending gifts for tomatoes, accepting them and when I wanted to collect them ... poof ... they are all gone.
It doesn't make any difference if you clear memcache or not.
They are gone! Lost in the void.
As I said, I reported this already at the helpdesk.
Until now there is no solution. I do hope this bug will be fixed soon.

Non of us, mods, were able to duplicate this, so if it is intermitent I think it would not be easy to fix taking in mind that you can only report it after it happened and it is not constantly.

No I have no way to check this for you, but you can. Go to your toolbox andopen the clock icon (Show Times) to the Gamewide tab. Find the Resend Gifts in the left column. That will tell you when you can next send gifts.

Im not sure why you got an unsecure platform when clicking the link, but the automatic response is mostly to let you know that they received your ticket.

After checking your problem, Support will respond you by mail, but you have to wait as they have tickets before yours. Please be patient while they get back to you.

I have claimed 10 so far from friends but it says 8 and one (1) of those I had to get (by exchange) to ask for the goose in the first place .. so I claimed 10, I only got credit for 7 .. so how many do I have to get from neighbors to have the 17 that I need.. 30? lol PLEASE FIX IT SOONER THAN LATER.. Im not sure to completely understand.

You should get 1 goose from each friend who sent it to you.

Please remember that you cant exchange another gift for a goose, so your friends have to send the original gift.

What you can do, is to exchange one of your gifts for goose (take in mind that gift will not count for farm pass) and accept it.

Once you have the goose in your gifts, then click in More button. You can ask 5 times for that gift.
Then your friends will find your request in their Other wall requests and will be able to send 5 gifts to you.

and your game shows I have only accepted 12 original gifts goose so far..

I guess I am gaining.. but this is a problem.. please fix it.

As you said there are only 13 geese in your gift box, 1 for ask and the other 12 original gifts.

We cant see how many goose gifts were showing up in Pending before you accepted them, we can only see what you have in your gift box and how many counted for farm pass.

The problem Sundos reports above is the same problem I have for a long time. I have reported this several times already at the helpdesk. It happens on my own farm and on a second account I have.
So far there is no solution.
Gifts are often "vanishing" somewhere between accepting them and claiming them to put on your farms or in storage . This happens with trees, animals and crops from the gifting page. And very often when you ask for them.
It looks like some gifts are not coming through. Even if the sender has clicked on your request.
Sundos, please, report this at the helpdesk. The more people report this problem 'maybe' the faster it is solved.

I had 500 gifts to accept from my gift box. I clicked on exchanged all for Clysdale horse. I should have had 400 Clysdale horses. I went into my gifts and moved them into my storage. It only showed 3. I need those horses. Thank you.

I have found a 'trick' to resolve the disappearing gifts I have inquired about numerous times as well as others that have had similar or the same issues...
I've 'added' a single 'sacrificial' gift that isn't an animal/crop/ingredient/tree/flower, such as a seasonal item, to the "My Gifts" 'box' so it's always in there. Ever since I stuck that in there, new gifts from "Pending Gifts" have been showing up as expected and not invisible in the My Gifts box.. So long as I leave 'something' in there, or have more than one item in there, it seems that they aren't getting lost any more.
Hopefully this helps the rest of 'us' that are having issues that aren't being addressed simply because they can't be duplicated.

I have found a 'trick' to resolve the disappearing gifts I have inquired about numerous times as well as others that have had similar or the same issues...
I've 'added' a single 'sacrificial' gift that isn't an animal/crop/ingredient/tree/flower, such as a seasonal item, to the "My Gifts" 'box' so it's always in there. Ever since I stuck that in there, new gifts from "Pending Gifts" have been showing up as expected and not invisible in the My Gifts box.. So long as I leave 'something' in there, or have more than one item in there, it seems that they aren't getting lost any more.
Hopefully this helps the rest of 'us' that are having issues that aren't being addressed simply because they can't be duplicated.

I am receiving fuel tanks as gifts. I accept them & send gifts back.

When I go to the My Gifts tab to store them all or most of them aren't there.

I've been shorted as many as 30 fuel tank gifts.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Good morning! I've noticed an issue with receiving gifts. Today I had 30 gifts to receive and I exchanged them all for the Goose. I should have had 60 Goose as I completed the Farm Pass requirements for 2 gifts for 1. I had 56 Goose. This happens a lot. I've gone through and accepted them one at a time and it will still do it randomly. It's very frustrating as I'm trying to fill my Chicken Sheds. Thank you!

Sometimes some of the gifts do not come through so you do not get the full amount. It is intermitent and nearly impossible for the deverlopers to locate why as they can not duplicate this.

I do not have gifting tools. Every time I collect my pending gifts, I lose a few up to 100. Every time. I also manage my husband's game's, including farmtown, on the same computer. It doesn't matter how many gifts are backlogged.

The ingredients you get go into your storage with all the rest. No they are not saved for any specific product and neither are the ones you collect for quests.

Paradise Poppy Pots are not a gift. So the only thing you could have done to get those would be to request ingredients for that and you will not get the completed item. You would get the pots, bird of paradise flowers and the poppy flowers.

HI Taz, I see that more people have this problem.
In my case it always occur when requesting gifts. Neighbours and buddies click on the links on their wall and on my side I always loose gifts.
The other day I had >100 gifts. When I exchanged the first 100 for almond trees and accepted there was nothing in 'My Gifts' tab, nothing, 100 trees lost in the void, poof, all gone.:mad::confused:
This is very frustrating and apparently there is no solution. I really don't understand why the developers never have this bug. A lot of us have!

It looks like Facebook is blocking the game from posting ingredient requests to it at the moment. A smaller square with greyed out writing and a blue button that says "refresh page" appears and then if it is clicked the broken page message.

I just posted my facilities and asked for ingredientes without problems and they are showing correctly in Facebook. Im using Chrome browser.

Be sure your cookies and pop ups are allowed in your browser.

This has been happening a lot with my gifts so figure it's time to ask. I always exchange for one of the baits. I will do this twice to the 200 mark, open my gifts and store them. The amount of bait is 80,000 when it gets to 200 IF it is done correctly. Of late, I'm getting weird amounts such as 76,200 (just not to the 80,000). This is not at the end, it can be anywhere in the exchanges. I know at the end I always have a lesser amount due to the number of gifts. I just don't understand how it can come up with a figure like 76,200 when I've redeemed 200 gifts. Thank you for any insight you can give me.

Why this happens we can't tell you. Gifts that don't come through are intermitent and that being so the developers can not determine as they can't duplicate this.

I have moved your post to the thread about gifts.

Have you checked the Show Times clock in your toolbox to see what time is showing there until you can next send gifts? If not, please do so. To do that:

https://r1.slashkey.com/images/gameguide/toolbox/show times.png Please reload your game then open your tool box and click on the Show Times icon (clock).

Look in the Gamewide section for Resend Gifts.

If you have a green check mark next to that you should be able to send gifts. If there is a time showing instead of a green check mark, that is how long you have to wait until you can send them again.
If there is a time showing for you, it should be 8 hours or less.

Check the left filter and see what you have it set to. That is probably why you are getting a smaller number of people to send to.

Hi Gallaherjesse,
Please check the Show Times tool in your Toolbox. There is a line in theat for Resend Gifts. That will tell you how long you have to wait before you can send again.
If you have clicked on any of the "Send" items in the Other Wall Requests to send them what they want then that resets the time in the Show Times tool.

Taz is not available at this moment.

If you sent gifts this morning and then before 2 hours have past you sent a gift using the Other wall requests, a post in facebook or maybe using your ingame messages, then the time resets.

Please wait 2 hours without sending gifts using any way and then check your times again. As soon as you get a green check mark to resend gifts, see if you are able to do that.

I checked your data and there arent any gifting machines missing.

You have 3 gifting machines in your storage. No others are missing or in your farms.

If you are talking about another set of farms, then please provide the user id number for them.

all the ones i listed are between red all the way down and before you buy one you have to buy the one before it and i have had it for years to send every 2 hrs. so what it is doing is i he the 3 but between them some are missing and not allowing me to use the red one

If you open your Store and look for the Gifting machines you will see that the first one only cuts the time in half, so you can send gifts every 4 hours.

Then if you purchase the red gifting machines, you can send gifts every 3 hours.

The orange one, allows you to send gifts every 2 hours.

You have those 3 gifting machines in your storage so there is no problem with them.

The green, pink, yellow, purple and brown are not to cut times, they are used to increase your Gift box capacity.

You do not have any of them.

While you have your store open, hover your mouse on the gifting machines you say are missing, and see if they say Buy or Duplicate.

Hi Gallaherjesse,
You don't own and according to your account data have never purchased any additional ones beyond the orange one. The orange one is the one that allows you to send gifts every 2 hours. The rest of them increase how many gifts you get for 1 gift in the pending gifts and increase the size of your gift box and have nothing to do with the sending of gifts. The first 3 gift machines you purchase are the ones that lower the amount of time between sending gifts.


What is the time it says in the Show Times tools for Resend Gifts?

A couple (as in married people) of my friends have not be receiving ANY of the gifts I have been sending them. And I also have been able to send gifts back to people who have sent me gifts when I have already have supposedly sent to everyone already. I have written to Julie and her husband to let them know that for some reason the gifts simply are not arriving in their gift boxes, but I cannot blame them from being upset that they have not been getting gifts from me for weeks. They already have tried clearing the FT memcache and I have the link bookmarked in my Edge browser because I use it a lot, but I wrote to ask if they received any of the 3 gifts I sent when the gift box tools allowed me to do so today. Not even 1 was received. And they can check because they do not have the thousands of buddies and neighbors they I and many other farmers do. Finding a particular name is easy for them.

I just found out that selecting All Farmers when selecting who to send to is not in fact listing everyone. There were names listed when I went through the individual categories when they all should have been blank after I had clicked through them all. The couple I mentioned have me as their neighbors but I do not have them as mine. :eek: This might be why they have not been getting anything.

Remember that the options you last used to send gifts and trains is remembered when you try to send them again. This was an improvement in the last release for July, 2024

b) Remember the user selection dropdown state when sending gifts and train boosts

If they are not your neighbors, you can choose any of the other options at the top left of the screen when you select a gift to send.
Just be sure to send the gifts to those farmers before you choose another option to continue sending.

Hi Qivis,
All farmers are all of the farmers you have as a neighbor or a buddy. It does not include those who have you as a neighbor or buddy, but you do not have them as the same. If you want to send gifts to those who only have you on their lists then go to the Reverse Neighbor or Reverse Buddy list and send to them from there.

If you want to make a suggestion to change that then post it in the Suggestions section.
