I just checked and both wool sheds, as of 9:30 Central time they still have 6.5 hours until they are ready. Are these new wool sheds you have just added? If so the first time they will not show the correct time but will show ready. You have to wait until the time I listed above has finished and then they will work correctly.

Im sorry but there is nothing the game can do to fix that. We can only suggest you to use other browser like Edge or Chrome.

Hi Sir Matthew. I had the same problem. I closed all icons. I shut my computer down and started up again. I made sure to type in the whole facebook address and added a space afterward. I can now use Firefox again.

It is taking longer to load farms. When I am logged on earlier in the AM, loading farms is almost instant. When it is later in the morning or day it can take up to a minute to load/switch to the next farm. Is this due to load on the system or something else? Just want to know so I can be on at a different time. Thanks for your help and support.

We just had a release yesterday afternoon. The load on the servers is always greater for the first few days as everyone is checking out the new things.

I moved your post to the subject thread about connection problems.

This is not a game server problem, so nothing we can fix. It is usually an internet problem. For your data to get to the server it must go through many links from your computer through your service provider all the way to the Facebook app server, then from there through more links on to the game servers. Any one of those links having a problem can cause you to lose connection to the server.

If you have slow internet this can be specially bad for dropping the server connection. I have this problem when I go on a cruise as their internet is slow and a lot of people are using the same internet connection.

Unfortunately we have no way to check this for you as those links you are going through to get to the server belong to multiple internet company servers and we can't monitor or fix those for you.

If you are talking about the pop up telling you are idle, I never got it while working my farms or other farms. This means while harvesting, plowing, fishing, planting, doing trees and flowers.
If you were doing other things on your farms like going through your neighbors coop quests, the managers etc. then you probably get that pop up.
In case you get the idle time while working farms as I previously listed (farming jobs), then please contact Support.

I have only got the idle pop up from time to time while going through my neighbors coop quests, but not while working on my farms or on others farms.

If you wish you can contact Support and report this issue to let them check on it.

To contact them click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

That's a Facebook blocking that you have and likely to be temporary if it's the first time you have seen it.

We do not know what the reasons were that you got it, we do not have any access to that kind of information. The only thing you can do is wait it out until the blocking is lifted.

Have a think back to what your were doing on Facebook earlier in the day or last night and see if you could have been doing anything like posting the same type of thing to Facebook many times or sharing the same posts to perhaps several groups in a short time.

If you were doing something like that it might be that the automatic spam detection Facebook have set thinks you could have been spamming when you were not. That automation rather than look at the content of the post, will likely detect how many times and how quickly it was done and then set a temporary ban. That's the kind of behavior a spammer would do and Facebook is determined to try to stop those to try to protect it's users.

For example, make sure that if you post bonuses or request ingredients from the game that you only post a maximum of 5 of each to Facebook in the 12 hour period. If you also want to share those, even if it's only one post, to other areas of Facebook, try slowing right down instead of doing trying to them quickly, once the ban is lifted.

If you were doing something too fast like normal farm work while playing the game, the game would have warned you about that in a white notification that disappears and had you ignored it and the game set a ban we would be able to see that in your data and that's not what has happened. You are not going to get that just by using the tools that you bought in the store in the game.

When you try to load your farms and you see other farmer's farm, then you can load your own farms or not?

Sometimes and specially while working friends facilities, a different farm from your friend shows up for a second or two. It says "Visiting Cindie All Big Tools", is that what you see?

If so, then your own farm should load in a few seconds.

We are not sure why some farmers are receiving that message from facebook when they try to do specific actions on the farms but maybe it is due some kind of issue while transfering data from facebook to the game.

You can click in Close button and continue working but surely you will get the same message again, so you will have to close it again.

Sadly there is nothing the developers can do about this, but if you wish, you could contact Facebook using the Report a problem option in your Facebook settings.

Please note that the game is designed for playing on a laptop or desktop computer and not for playing on mobile devices. Some have been able to play but only if the devices can be upgraded.


As far as we know the new version of the game can be played if you can update your devices software and do any optimization it's recommending to you. Older devices that won't upgrade to the newer OS versions will likely run into problems at some point.

What we have heard about Apple devices is that those with iOS 10 have been able to play using Safari and Chrome. The version of iOS for those that could was iOS 14. How well they perform on those is not known. If you have any friends already playing Farm Town on apple devices you might want to ask them for information.

Sadly non of us use a Chromebook, so we are not sure if the seetings are the same. You could contact their Help center and see if they can help you.

Please be sure that your chromebook is up to date. Also this is the link to one of your farms, see if you can load it.

Are you sure you cleared your browser cache? I had a look at your data and it shows you have cleared your memcache lot of times, but it doesnt work for the problem you describe.

Also check if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac in case you use it.

It seems Facebook has changed the way to see any blocked app.

But you can click in Add to your list of blocked apps link and start typing Farm town. See if you see the Unblock button to the right.

Also, in the Block apps information you have a link for More information.

If nothing helps you, then you will have to contact Facebook and see if they can help you.

What were you doing on your farms prior to getting this problem?

I have had no problems loading your farms.

The error you are seeing in Firefox has been there quite some time and will not be what is causing you a loading problem in Firefox.

Various browsers have had updates recently, have you checked for those yet? If not please do so and also check for any computer updates and do those if showing as well.
Please remember to close your browser then reopen it after updating them.
Then see if you can load your farms.

There is more information in the first post on page one you can also try if you still can't load your farms after that.

I moved your post to the loading issues thread.
That is not a hoax message. It is from Facebook and not from Farm Town. Facebook changed their security settings that is what is causing this. It happens if you are opening a lot of tabs with Farm Town like when working facility posts or going to the free gift sites and doing multiples from there or posting too much from Farm Town on Facebook such as copying your posts to a lot of groups.
There isn't any thing we can do to lift the restriction. The only thing you can do is wait for Facebook to lift it as they usually set the restrictions for a specific number of days.

Do you have Chrome set to automatically clear the browser cache? If so that would be part of why it is slow as it is having to download the graphics for the game each time you load your farms.
The only other thing that can make it that slow would be the internet between you and the servers. I just loaded my farms and it loaded in under a minute, so it is not the servers that are causing this. As there are many links between you and the servers any one of them can be slowing down your loading. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about those.

Have you made sure that you are on line (green plug in the upper right)? If so and with all you have done the only thing I can suggest is to contact Support about this.
To contact Support click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

There are more things for you to do. Make sure your Windows or Mac is updated. What version of Chrome do you have?
Have you added any extensions or plugins to Chrome?
Have you tried a different browser to see if it will load?

We have loaded your farms with no problems. It is not a problem with your farms, but has to be something with your computer or browser that is keeping you from loading the game. Try Opera which is a Chrome based browser and see if it will load with that.
Have you tried all the steps in the first post on the first page of this thread including the ones in the links there?

It may have just been a temporary data transfer problem. You might want to restart your farms again to clear those errors.

If it is taking longer for your farms to load since you only have 3 farms and not near full size or layered then there is an outside problem, not the game. Please try all the suggestions in the first post of this thread including the ones in the link listed there.

I have hidden All options in your preferences, the wrench, to have a faster loading. So after loading your farms you will have to put a check mark to all items hidden (trees, flowers, tools, etc...)

Are your superneighbor's farms fully worked, meaning they have crops x 9 and more items on them, like trees, flowers, water items?

If you are working that type of farms then it is probably memory is completed used and then you have problems.

Is this happening in your own farms too? If so, then it could be an interntet issue.

Please, be sure your browser is up to date and also if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac in case you use it.
If you do an update, then please restart.

Also, reset your router/modem for a minute and see if that helps you.

When you are on those farms try to only show the items you need to work and not all the items on the farms.

If those farms are heavily latyered with trees, flowers and/or buildings over the crops then that can cause the problem you are having. I suggest that before you go to work their farms you should turn off all of the show items except the first one you are going to work. Then when you finish that if there are other jobs you do switch the Show item to that and do that job.

Is this error preventing you to continue working or to load the game?

Please reload the game and see if it is fixed for you, if not please restart.

If the problem continues then check if your browser is up to date and also if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac in case you use it. Also check if your graphics card needs to be updated.

If you do any updates, then restart your computer.

It was ok this morning, just, but if I tried to harvest my neighbours farms and move from one to another it just hung there. Now I can't even get the game to load at all. Chrome is up to date, but I can't load with Edge either. Any thoughts oh powerful ones ?

This happened to me 2 days ago and to some of my friends in Spain last week.

I think it could be facebook doing something in the server we were on, as it lasted for some hours and then all went back to normal. If it is not that, then any of the several links we have to go through could have heavy traffic or some kind of issue.

I did nothing to solve this as it corrected itself after several hours, but if you wish, you can try all suggestions given in the first post, first page of this thread, including the ones in the links.

We have not done anything either. It could have been an internet problem somewhere along the path between you and the servers or maybe something going on with thwe Facebook app server which is between you and the Farm Town servers.

I have been using Vivaldi browser for quite some time and have never had a problem loading Farmtown. Suddenly this morning. I get a pop up telling me it does not support WebGL.

Marymarcel is not available at the moment.
I am not having any problems loading any of your farms..

We can see that you like to overlap crops etc and like to overlap quite a few waters on your farms. Those types of farms will be harder to load for some. The more you add to a farm the harder your computer has to work to load those.

I have turned off some of the items in your preferences to show things like crops, trees, buildings etc so that you have less items to load when you next try.

Please click on this link which will take you to your smallest farm.

If you can load that farm do not show anything at all to see what is on the farm until you have done the following:

What we would like you to do is try enabling the 'Compressed Graphics' option in the Preferences screen.
The graphics will have a bit less quality but this might help you to load your farms.

I have moved your post to the thread about loading issues.

What type of farms were you working at the time this happened, could they have been large and have a lot of items on them?
Was this your farms or working for someone else?
Was it a specific job job you were doing when this happened? If so please describe the job and the type of farm.

Please check Vivaldi for any updates, do any that are showing, then close the browser for a few minutes, reopen it and WebGL should be enabled again.
If you continue to have problems with that browser try other updated browsers and see if you can find one that performs better for you.

Since you have not been able to play did you add any more fields or items to your farms?

Could you have made any changes to your browsers or added any extensions to them and enabled them?
In a previous post you mention checking for flash updates. Flash is no longer required to play Farm Town if you enabled the old FarmTown Flash enabler extension please disable it. You can remove that extension from your browser if you have it.

Please also disable any other extensions you added to your browser since you've not been able to play while you try to load the game to see if any of them might be causing a problem.

If it's not those either, when you checked for computer updates was there any update showing for graphics? Did you also check if all the computer updates showing had been completed and remember to reboot your computer afterwards if it did not tell you to do that?

I am not sure what you mean by this "maybe no wat we can conect with any dest" if you are asking us to remote connect to your computer I am sorry but we do not do that.

No do not delete the game, that can cause more problems and is a very old idea people used to think would correct problems they were having.

That is a Facebook message, not from the game. There is nothing we can do about how Facebook set their security rules.

When you post fast to many groups or with many tabs open to post faster, then Facebook could think you are a spammers as that is how they work to spread their messages to the most possible places or sites.

If you continue posting that way, then Facebook will block you again.

Why can't you work on your co-op quests? You can still click on your neighbors in the neighbor bar and show their quests. You can also click on the links in the forum thread for the quests there.

When you get the message about WebGL, it usually happens when your browser encounters an error and "thinks" WebGL is disabled. Most of the times you get this error after working heavily worked farms, specially with water items or if you have the game open during lot of time.


Try closing your browser for a few minutes and then reopen it. If that doesnt fix the problem, then restart your computer.

If nothing works for you, then clear your browser cache. The first time you load the game after the clearing, it will load slowly as all graphics have to be loaded again.

well if i actually get loaded in game, if i get hired and try to go to work, farm never loads, or starts to load and freezes. it will also do that when i am trying to go to my farms. also my wifi connection will be very good and the game icon will show green for connected and it will continuelly go red back to green then red and so on. the whole time my wifi showing all the bars on my screen. when i have trouble with loading farms after about the 5th time restarting game i just turn it off and quit. this has been happening for the past 3 days. i clicked a box someone wrote about that is suppose to help farms load but it didnt help

Please try all the suggestions in the first post of this thread including the ones in the link in that post. Also please check the minimum requirements that are listed in the first post of the following link to make sure you meet those:

I have loaded your farms without any problems staying on line, so it is not a problem with your farms.


Even if your wifi is strong that is only 1 link in getting to your farms. There are many links that your data has to go through to get to the Facebook app server and many more that it has to go through to get to the Farm Town servers. Any one of those links could be having a problem that can slow down or interupt your data getting to the servers or back to your computer. Unfortunately we have no way of checking those or getting them fixed. If this is the case then you will just have to wait until the owners of those fix the problem.

I cleared my memcache, then my computer's cache (again) and rebooted my computer. And THEN I was able to get in. I just got the error again now. Same exact error.

If Facebook think you are posting too fast and several times on your own profile and to many groups, then they can temporaly block you as that is the way spammers post.

There is nothing we can do about how facebook decide to set their security rules. You only need to slow down while posting or they could block you again and for more time everytime.

Unfortunately we can't do anything about how Facebook sets their security rules. It may be that once they have picked up on you posting too often or having too many tabs open at once then they watch a little closer. Maybe if you slow down and try 2 tabs at once for facility posts for a while then they will back off some. It is not just the number of tabs, but also is how much posting you do. We had a huge amount of belts/dans added this last release which has caused some to get blocked due to repeatedly posting those on their profile as well as reposting them in groups.

Is Microsoft Edge updated? please let us know which version you have. If you need to update it, then close and restart your computer.

Please copy and paste the first 10 lines from the FT Console below your farms to a post here when you try to open your farms in Edge so we can check it.
If it works from Explorer then it should work from Edge unless you have any add-ins or plug-ins added to Edge that may be stopping you from using it for Farm Town.

Are you sure those are the exact words they used?

We've not heard of that particular one, they usual one says something like:

"You're Temporarily Blocked. It looks like you have been missusing this feature by going too fast. You've been blocked."

Could it have been that one?

If it is, then that can happen if you post too many posts to Facebook too quickly, sharing them too quickly to several groups, perhaps collecting gifts too fast form a gift site. Posting /sharing very quickly are things that spammers would do so Facebook will be trying to prevent that with their automated security settings to detect spammers. I am sorry, but we have no say at all in whatever criteria they set for those.

Unfortunately you will have to wait for Facebook to lift the block. If it's only just happened that may only be a small amount of time.

Have you tried Chrome for Farm Town? You do have the current version of Edge. Do you have any addins or plugins enabled in Edge? Some of those can prevent you from loading the game.

Ok,

For Edge:

Click in the 3 dots in the upper right corner.
Then click in Settings.
On the new page, on the left, click in About Microsoft Edge.

If Edge is updated it will tell you.
If not, then Edge will update and will ask you to restart.

For Chrome:

Click in the 3 dots in the upper right corner
Hover your mouse on Help from the menu
You will see a new menu on the left
Click in About Google Chrome.

If Chrome is uptades it will tell you.
If not, then Chrome will update and will ask you to restart.


If you have any pending update for Windows, you will see a yellow dot when you try to close your computer.
It is better to Update and Restart.

You have posted this error a few times and the last time we asked you to contact Support, did you do that?

Which browser and OS are you using?
Are they up to date?

If not please do all the updates and then close and restart your computer.

Also, I have hidden all Show.... items in your preferences, the wrench. So when you can load the farm again, you have to put a tick in all of them again.

You do not have a check mark for Compressed Graphics option in your preferences, so I suggest you to get it checked.

I am sorry this is happening to you. If you can play with Edge then there is something wrong in your Chrome that is preventing you from loading the farms. Have you added any plugins or addons to your Chrome? Please make sure none of those are enabled as those can cause loading problems. That includes any added by your Antivirus program as that can cause a blocking.

I moved your post to the thread about loading issues.
First make sure your browser and computer system are up to date.


This happens when your game has encountered an error.
Try first just restarting your browser and see if that will fix it.
If that doesn't then clear your browser cache and restart it. Instructions on how to do this are in the following link:

This does happen with Facebook form time to time and they will usually correct it, but we don't know how quick they will be to do that.

If you find it easier you can save this generic link for the game as a bookmark in your browser and use that to load the game while waiting for them to fix it: https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play

Make sure that you know your are logging out of Facbook every day so that when they do fix the problem you get the current version of Facebook.

Hi Pencil,

Are your computer updates also done? If not please do those as well.

Then try closing your browser for a few minutes and reopen it and see if WebGL will automatically enable. If it doesn't what you need to do is check that hardware acceleration is still set to be enabled in your browser settings.

To check hardware acceleration is enabled in Chrome:


top right of your chrome browser window are 3 dots

click on the dots

scroll down and click on settings

when the window opens in the search bar type the word hardware in it

you should then see the hardware acceleration option. There should be a slide button to the right of that, it needs to be blue, if it's grey, click on it to turn it blue to enable hardware acceleration in Chrome.
If the browser then asks you to relaunch it (close and reopen the browser) please do so, then check if the game will load for you in Chrome

Which browser are you using? Did you check if your browser is up to date? Which version does your browser have?

Also check if you have pending updates for Windows or Mac in case you use it.

If you cleared your browser cache, then the game will load very slowly as all graphics have to be loaded again.

I hide everything in your prefences, the wrench, to let you load the game easily.

I moved your post to the thread about Cannot Load the game.

Please be sure Chrome is up to date, I got an update yesterday. Also check if you have any pending update for Windows or Mac in case you use it.
After any update it is better to restart.

If the previous suggestions are ok, then close everything and restart your computer. Check if you can then load the game.

If not, check if the hardware acceleration is still enabled in Chrome. To check this:


Click in the 3 dots in the upper right corner of your browser page
Click in Settings from the menu
On the left, click in System
A new page will show up, check if Hardware acceleration option has a blue button to the right. If the button is grey then click in it to turn it blue.
If you are asked to relaunch the browser, please do it and then try to load the game again.



Last thing for you to do if nothing helped, is to clear your browser cache. You have instructions in the following link:

When Chrome was last working for you, do you recall seeing a notification that you were being switched from WebGL2 to WebGL1? If you do and are no longer seeing that notification then you may not be able to use Chrome at this time. We do not know if this issue will be fixed by Chrome.

If you don't remember seeing a notification like that then the other thing you can check for is if you have added and enabled any extensions to your Chrome browser. If you have, disable all of them while you try to load the game in Chrome to see if any of those are causing a problem.

If it's not that either then I'm afraid what you will need to do is find another updated browser that works best for you and use that instead. Opera is similar to Chrome so you might want to try that, but only you will be able to know which browser performs better for the device you are using. If you use a browser that you have not used before please remember that along with checking that it is updated you will need to have hardware acceleration enabled in it and cookies and popups allowed in the browser settings as well.
