My tech guy found out what was wrong today with why I couldn't get the new version. I was using the Revert Site extension. When we disabled it I could load the new version HTML/WebGL fine.

I tried to get a screen shot but this is the link I got, my screen is all black and its goes like that every time I try the HTML5 version, I even went to Mac and downloaded the accelerator that they told me works well with the HTML5, but nothing doing... hope I can try it soon, I'm dying to see what is going to work and the looks of it.. thanks... keep up the good work..

Neighbors have not been added yet and if you need to sell something you have to open your Storage and click in a product to go to sell at market.

Hi miltil :)

You should get all your tools to harvest/plow/plant your farms plus the tools to fish, harvest flowers and trees, chop trees. Multiplanters and bulldozers are available too.

All other tools will be added in a time and after testing them.

Developers are bussy with the migration so dont think we will have upgrades for farm 43 right now.

You are able to load your farms without problems. Please remember that this is a restricted version of the game and all other features will be added in a few weeks and after being tested.

As stated in the first post this is a restricted version. The missing functions will be added over the next few weeks.

something for folks to be aware of Puffin browser on IOS works with flash version of the game until the 12th of Jan. however from then on if you try to use it you will not get into the html5 version of the game the reason for this is Puffin was Blocked from updating the software on ios some time ago and there is no future use for that app on this game.

if however you have an android tablet with Puffin Browser this will load the Html5 version of Farmtown as it has been updated something worth knowing.

i have tried to load the html5 version of farmtown via the chrome ios app and seem to load the black page to the farmtown loading screen at which point it doesn't load so thats something that i wonder if it will work in future.

I am just here to report I have neighbors who have crossed over to the midnight time zone deadline for 1/12/21 flash cut off and they are unable to get into their farms or those of any of their neighbors with any browser, all they get is a grey screen, there is no yellow box at the top of the page with the HTML5 version link for them. They have tried FF, Opera and Chrome and same results.. those neighbors are located in New Zealand and Australia where it is 9:13am on 1/12/21 for them.

I copied the link to the new version and pasted it into FB Messenger for them but haven't heard if they were able to get to their own farms with it.

The cube doesn't spin. I t has a loading line under that moves as things load. Are you seeing the loading move? It does take a while to load when you are first loading it as it has to download all the graphics for the game.

There is nothing much I can do at my farm. I cannot hire anyone to help with the crops. I cannot participate in my started neighborhood quests, etc. My ships are not operating nor my trains. I can no longer use
Flash... note comes up saying no longer using Flash.
This is very frustrating as we were told about this a few months ago and here I am in the middle of things I can no longer finish. I do not like that we cannot go by our game names as I do not really know the names of some other than what they used in the game. This is very frustrating and especially since I spend some of my own money to purchase things for this game. When will you give us what we were doing before?

The end of Flash was not done by the developers. That has been done by Adobe. I am sorry you were in the middle of something and not allowed to finish, but there is nothing that can be done about it.

Just give them the link for testing and the instructions. As it will not load in the current one for playing then they need to run the test one and report the information. The current play one does not log the information the developers need.

1 - Should we empty ALL the Reg Facs??? (I only take what I need to fill up my Client Facs, so at present I have a lot DONE and sitting in Reg Facs)
2 - I am one those players that do 9x9 overlapped fields and also layering... I know you do not recommend this and that we farm at our own risk... But, I was curious so in the HTML5 version I tested multi layers... ... What say you???

The logging information from the tests will have to be looked at by the developers. We (moderators) do not have access to that information nor would we know what to tell you to fix for this. Every computer and browser set up is different for each person and it takes time to try and remotely determine what needs to be fixed where.
As long as you can load it in Chrome you are at least able to play. Yes the only thing we can do right now is to do our own work. Please give them time to work therough this with the loading problems and get the other functions woirking and released to us over the next weeks.

The link where you see the neighbors blue pictures is the test link. That is for the testing to log so the developers can see that. It will probably be released after they do some more work on the neighbors part soon.

No you can not post and some of the tools have not been added yet. The developers will be adding the missing functions over the next weeks as they get them working and can release them.

I have not had a single issue loading anything. I have used, Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, and Opera GX. No Issues.

Even though it appears that Flash is gone at midnight tonight, I really feel that the developers will get us all back to where we were in a very short amount of time.

Check to make sure you do not have any extensions in your browswer for things like keeping Facebook in old layout or an adblocker as those will stop your loading.
Also check to make sure you have cookies and pop ups allowed by the instructions in the following link:

The most you can have is less than 100%. There is no way to tell you how much as it varies depending on what you have in your storage. If you are 72% then you should be ok.

Have you tried the HTML version as that is the only way to play now that you don't have the Flash version. If you need a link for it you can find it in any of the announcements at the top of each forum section.

When loading finishes, the screen changes to a solid Grey stripe from top to bottom to the extents of the page. All content on the page is gone. appears to be the width of the regular FT window. but even the menu at the bottom is replaced by this grey strip ie:

This is not a simple game. The developers have been working on getting it converted for the 3 years since Adobe announced the end of Flash. There are no automatic conversion programs to move all the code over to the new language. They are working as fast as they can to get the game up and running with all the features for everyone who plays.

They were planning to have the entire game converted and working before the end of Flash, but it didn't work out that way. At least they are trying to get it done, which many Flash games on Facebook didn't even try. They just stopped those games.
Please have a little patience while they work on getting the rest of the game working.

I have a question as to why the only item that shows as being harvested is the ponds, but trees and flowers don't pop up saying how much you harvested? I haven't had crops to harvest yet, so I can't say if that will show. Otherwise I am really happy with the new version, it works faster and looks great. I followed the directions, and they led me right back to the previous page about where to go to report problems, again and again! so I am here to report the problems. Neighbors don't show up ... order of alleged neighbors is reverse of what was previous ... no 'star' to move screen up, down, left, right... No buddy list... No ships or trains ... both left columns in the toolbox are greyed out (no quests, etc.) ... No crops showing ... No FT note ability .... that's what I have found so far.

Adobe has already blocked the Flash Player from running on all browsers so we have switched all users to the new HTML5/WebGL version of the game. This version was developed using the Unity game engine.

As there is no facility functionality yet for you to produce fuel, we have disabled the fuel consumption for all the tools in the game until we introduce the Facilities.

As expected, this is a very limited version of the game, we will re-enable all the other features in the coming weeks.

Please report here any issues you may find with this new version, but try not to use this thread to ask about when the rest of the features will be ready, we will have a separate thread for that.

this new and not so improved version, in a word, SUCKS!. For one I can not see my neighbors so I might work their farms...ie super neighbors. I go into my requests to work the farms that have been posted....same ole thing, not working. This is such BS! You all have known for a long time that this day was coming. Now that it's here and not much is working. I,along with many others have put a lot of real cash into this game. In my opinion you have allowed this game to become subpar.

Basically nothing of the features I like is working atm so I just harvested all my fields, and hopefully more functions will be back in a few weeks. Enjoy the game, but the graphic hurts, and without the things I like, I don't see the point in using much time on this. (yes I still want it to work, thats why I've been playing, and using money on it since 2007... )

I am happy that they converted. Most other flash games did not. :( I have full confidence Farmtown will get all the bugs worked out and features enabled.

I hope all goes well in getting the problems worked out for you as this game is my love. I may skip playing it for awhile, but I always come back to it.
