By chance, are you using a browser extension that forces Facebook into displaying Facebook in the old classic look? If so, please disable this as it prevents the HTML5 version of the game from working.

how do I do my quests and co-ops. this new version is so confusing all I know how to do is my crops cant figure out anything else I liked the old way at least I could do everything now all I can do is my crops I dont like it and if it doesnt change to the way it used to be I will quit playing

a massive thankyou to all the wonderful devs and moderators having to deal with the repeated questions from people who obviously have not been regular visitors to the forum nor read the previous posts. The new game has progressed from the build 17 where it started and improves each day for me... can access it on all my computers and browsers with no problems whatsoever... going from farm to farm is way faster... faster harvest, plow, planting, able to sell off any excess by utilising the "Go to Market to Sell" and am just planting Chia and then selling off to get even more coins... keeping an eye on the percentage showing so it stays around 80%. I can harvest animal barns if I visit each farm and do them individually, just not the super barns yet but thats not a problem.. storage has tons in it already... once again, THANKS ALL... :)

You can access the market selling screen by clicking on your storage icon and then click on the blue button 'Sell at Market' While this does not actually take you to the market itself, it does bring up the selling windows which will allow you to sell your items/crops etc.

I hope all goes well in getting the problems worked out for you as this game is my love. I may skip playing it for awhile, but I always come back to it. Unfortunately, we do not have a timeframe as to when features will be added back. Things like quests will most likely expire. The developers are working as hard as they possibly can to get things added back as soon as humanly possible. But this takes time to do as Farmtown is a very big game. every little addition has to be tested before it is released.

I have had several instances where my computer is freezing when I try and load another farm. My computer never freezes and I keep it cleaned out all the time. Is this a common thing that is happening right now and will be worked out soon.

With HTML, clearing your browser cache should only be done if you are unable to load the game at all. When you clear your browser cache, you force the game to download the entire game and graphics all over again. This will slow your game down. once you have loaded the game, the next time you play will run much faster as it will not need to download it again. So please avoid clearing your browser cache unless you really need to.

It will look like it is using fuel, but if you notice when you stop working, that fuel is added back to your total. effectively, none is actually used.

The is a banner message above your game screen that will tell you what to do. That message also contains your own ID number. If you can see that message above the game, make sure that you are using the Facebook book mark on the left side of Facebook to load the game rather than Facebooks Gameroom and please disable any extent ions for your browser that may alter anything you would normally see on Facebook like adverts or for changing Facebook to the old classic look as those can cause problems.

I have followed everything you have posted over and over. It does not change anything. It simply will not load on my iMac. It does load on Chrome but for the time being I can only do those thing I can do myself. There's no way to hire anyone. Now I totally understand you are working diligently on this and am not complaining, just explaining where I am with Farm town on Chrome and, alas, no longer on Safari. I will continue to check back on Chrome as to the progress being made. Good luck and I do hope it can one day soon be back to what we once experienced via Flash.

I got a message saying that I advanced to 973 and rec'd the farm cash, but the scroll bar at the top never switched to 973, and the XP numbers are frozen. Also, my gasoline is not frozen, the numbers are still dropping. On the good side, Great job on the work done on this monumental task of taking this huge game and switching it over! I am looking forward to the full functionality of the game!

Have you tried reloading the game to see if your level bar corrects? If not please try that.

The new version Fuel will start counting down as you work, but will correct back to the original amount again. Make a note of the fuel before you start using a large tool, do some work, stop and see if the amount corrects when the work is completed. If it does not please report back here.

I thought that at first too, but if you reload, your fuel will all be back (what I've seen in my game, the fuel will go down, but if I stop using it, it will climb back up to the original value.)

I am able to get in to the game and H/P my own farms and it is a little slow. The issue that I have noticed is that my CPU usage has jumped dramatically with the HTML version. I am running on a laptop and heard the fan running hard, so looked at task manager and closed/reopened FT and saw a 38% increase in CPU use that was not there in the flash version ( never had my fan run that hard) .

Fuel is used as you work, but when you stop and release the tool then all that fuel is added back in to your total. Watch as you release the tool and you will see the number jump back up.

Check your preferences and make sure the Show items are checked. Then click the farm in the farm selector to refresh that farm and see if they are back.

I moved your post to the subject thread about the HTML version. You can not get the old version back as Adobe has disabled Flash for everyone. Thereisn't any way to get it back. You will have to use the HTML version even though it is currently limited as to what you can do.

It is impossible to move all the game to the new version at once. This game has been running for 12 years with monthly releases.

If developers move the game at once it would be impossible to know where the issues/bugs are and how to fix them.
