The developers did a fix for the javascript (js itemsin the list you provided) problem a couple days ago. So clearing the browser cache may fix that.

If you are not having loading issues and you can enter and work your farms, then it is not necessary to post all that information from the console.

I love the animated UFO Halloween decorations and have them on many of my farms. They used to be highly defined and now they are only little blobs of light. Do you think that they will return in their old form? Other than that I am happy to see how much faster it seems now that the short cuts were restored.

The console list under the farms should not be grey when your game part crashes. It is not the last line they want, but is the last Checkpoint number.

..........I've reloaded several times and get the same thing.

*****Until yesterday, I could logon to Farmtown , although I'd have to occasionally reload the farm page to get in.

The above message was copied from someone else's message.

This was happening to me every intermittently. What I did was go into the Chrome://flags
and remove my WebGL 2.0 Compute and relaunch.
Then go back in and enable the WebGL 2.0 Compute and relaunch.

It would then reload.

I don't know if this helps but it worked for me.

Your previous post was moved to the Migration thread as you are able to play.
The information under your farm is test information for the developers. Since you can play you can ignore that. We do not know when the map will be available. Only the developers know that.

If you mean things like quests and facilities, then it is loading correctly. Some functions are not available yet. You can find what is available in the first post of this thread and the first post of the Migration thread. The rest will be added over time as the developers get those ready.

Please list what size tool are you using that causes the highlight issue. Is it only when you use the Harvest-Plant combine or does it do it with the Harvest-Plow as well? Is it planting them correctly despite the highlighting not behaving?

Everytime when I go to a layered fishing farm, I get rebooted (without even fishing yet) and get an error msg with a white screen and sad face.
Error Message:- WebGL Supported, but DISABLED ------------------- ERROR!
When I clear memcache I get a black screen which does not load at all. I have to go out of F/T completely and go in again. It loads perfectly, but I have to skip the layered fishing farms.
Other than that, I can h/p/p, trees, flowers and fishing (if not layered) with no problems.

Hi Terri,

After doing the Chrome updates, did you close and reopen Chrome before tying to load the game?

Could you please also check the following in Chrome:

Have you disabled any extensions in Chrome browser that would change Facebook to the old classic look and also the FT Flash Enabler extension? If you have added any of those to Chrome, please make sure that they are disabled.

Then please type the following into Chromes address bar chrome://settings/?search=hardware

Look for Use hardware acceleration when available See if the button to the right is blue or gray. If it's not blue, please click on it to enable that setting. If you don't see that setting please let us know.

If you've had to change any of those, please make sure that you close and reopen Chrome to make sure those changes are saved. Then try loading Farm Town again and see if anything changed.

If you've already done those in Chrome please type the following into the browser address bar chrome://gpu
In the very top section for Graphics Feature Status please list what it now shows for OpenGL and both the WebGLs.

JavaScript is used for the game. There were some issues with that were being fixed. Thanks for letting us know your issue is resolved.

As you are a Mac user, please makes sure that you have done any updates on your device that it's recommending to you.

Hi Snookie Sue,

Please list what size tool are you using that causes the highlight issue. Is it only when you use the Harvest-Plant combine or does it do it with the Harvest-Plow as well? Is it planting them correctly despite the highlighting not behaving?

I use the purple harvest- plant combine mostly but the faint (sort of flashy) yellow guidelines come up when I use any of my harvest-plant tools. Things do get planted correctly for the most part but I have been making more errors that I did with the old version. When I do mushrooms it is pure educated guess work though. I never just harvest-plow.

You can ignore the console entries since you are in the game. That information is for the developers.

The fuel is showing used as you work, but as soon as you stop and put the tool down the fuel is restored.

I have tried to clear the memcache multiple times and my ext H/P tool is not clearing all the fields on some farms. Sometimes I can use the single harvest tool to clear parts of the un-harvested fields. Also when I try to fish using the purple boat, i have to click on the same pond or sea coast multiple times before I can go to the next pond/ sea coast. My user ID # is : 100000749801650. I am using Chrome for my browser.

It is not necessary to repeatedly post this. The developers are looking into all these problems trying to come up with solutions.
Only thing I can suggest is to clear your browser cache and see if that gets you back in. You might want to try the suggestions in the announcement at the top of each section of the forums about not being able to load. Here is a link to that:

No it does not have anything with Flash being installed or not.



You might also try another browser to see if it will load with that. If you do you will need to set u the cookies and pop ups for that browser before you try to load it.

Are the browsers up to date on that computer? It can also be a matter of the hardware in the computer and whether it supports WebGL 2.0. Older computers will not have that as it wasn't available at that time.

Are the browsers up to date on that computer? It can also be a matter of the hardware in the computer and whether it supports WebGL 2.0. Older computers will not have that as it wasn't available at that time.

Have you made any changes to Chrome or added any extension to that browser since you last loaded the game? Have you tried another browser and are you getting the same problem there as well?

You say you loaded the farm but you cant go from farm to farm, so are you getting a gray screen or you can see your farms?

Please try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps.

Morning! Some feedback on the new version: Settings: Display of all items turned off in the top section of the options.
An easy way to see your progress when planting a field that is plowed but not planted, is to turn off the display of crops. In the Flash version, the plots planted would disappear when planted allowing the operator to see what was not planted. In the HTML version, the planted plots do not disappear until you click the eye or select a new tool.
Also, in the Flash version, on layered farms (with the non-EX tools at least) you could click anywhere on the plot to harvest/plow/plant. Once that layer of the plot was done, the entire area of the underlaying plot allowed the tool to work. In the HTML version, only the portion of the plot exposed is clickable. it's a tiny portion of the plot and harder to hit. My work-around is to do as much as possible and then click the eye to hide the processed plots. This allows clicking on the entire portion of the underlying plot. You all are doing a great job converting this... I know it's a HUGE job! Keep up the great work!!! and THANK YOU.

Those features are not available yet, The new version for the moment is a restricted version as explained above the game, so some features are still missing. We realize this is frustrating to have missing features, but rest assured, they will all be added back to the game over the next few weeks. Please be patient.

Thank you for all the progress you have made on the game, all my farms are working like they should, all my tools are good. I see the purple hand is back and is working great I just try it with the big pond and it stack them great. The only thing I had to do was turn off show coins and XP animation plus show feed back when farming in the preferences. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Try to clear your browser cache and see if that helps you. The first time you load the game after the clearing, it will load a little slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.

I was able to access my farm on ipad but now it stops loading at U56 crashes and tries again and again.
on my Macbook i started using Chrome instead of safari and did manage to access for a few days, but now it says webGL not supported.

Hi Susan,

It's sounding like you're using an older version of browser if ti's not supporting WebGL2. Which OS are you using and which browsers are you using. Are they all updated? If you're not sure please check on that.

I'm wondering if you're also running out of memory trying to run all 3 accounts, so at some point one won't load.

When this happens have a look under the Toggle FT console and see what it's showing to you, if it's showing any errors or saying out of memory anywhere.

Try to clear your browser cache and see if that helps you. The first time you load the game after the clearing, it will load a little slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.

The developers have not worked on those yet. We have had a couple say theirs has worked, but you can't use a previous saved page. You need to log into Facebook and then go from the link there to the game.

If after doing the previous items, your game still doesnt load, then continue with the 3 steps listed under PERSISTENT LOADING ISSUES.

When you get the info for those 3 steps, then go back to this thread and post the results. Thank you

Michael, I also have that problem with farm 1, but the animals are getting harvested even though there is no notification.. I wrote down my totals before doing farm 1, then after I did harvest, reloaded the game and checked storage.. totals had all increased.. I then proceeded and did all the other farms..

Please click on the following link, scroll down that post to First Load of Farm Town and see if you have already done what is listed there for your Chrome
and Safari browsers.

Mac users that are having difficulty with using Chrome and Opera have had success with Opera, so if you have not tried Opera yet please do so. If it's not one you already have please also make sure that it's allowing cookies and pops in it.

There has been a new version released to everyone overnight. Please check if you can if you are still having issues with moving things around when there is plenty of clear space on your farm to move them to. Make sure you're giving the game a little more time to save what you have done in case there is a delay to save what you are doing. If you are still having problems with that please supply details of what you were trying to move and if you were replanting your flowers using the multiple option, which size and options were you using.

The animal shed that wouldn't harvest, is it on a farm that you have previously set as a quest farm or a private farm? Which animal buildings could you not harvest on that farm. See if you can figure out what may be different on that farm compared to the ones where you can harvest those.

Have you done the updates showing on your computer? If not please do those. If you're not sure how to do those you can ask that question in which ever browser you are using. Most of them have a search box you can type in or you can type the question in the browser address bar.

Windows users need to look for links that show support.microsoft.com in the link.
Mac users would need to look for links with support.apple.com in the link.


Then please click on this link, it will take you to the Announcement in the forum. Scroll down to First Load of Farm Town and make sure that you have done what's listed there:

Arent you able to harvest trees and flowers?

Please clear your browser cache and see if that helps you. First time you load the game after the clearing it will load a little slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.

Yes the saga continues. I have nothing in FT at all.. after loading up to U75 it just grays out including the toggle console so no errors to go by except what I have already mentioned. Have you done the updates showing on your computer? If not please do those. If you're not sure how to do those you can ask that question in which ever browser you are using. Most of them have a search box you can type in or you can type the question in the browser address bar.

Windows users need to look for links that show support.microsoft.com in the link.
Mac users would need to look for links with support.apple.com in the link.

As I understand you have changed some flags in your settings. That is not recommended as it can cause more problems. I suggest you set those back to what they were.

After you cleared the cache did you close the browser so that would complete? If not try clearing and then close the browser and reload again. If that does not work try it again, but also restart your computer befoe reloading game.

Have you tried another browser? If you do make sure you have cookies and pop ups allowed in that browser.

i can't use another browser as I am using a Chromebook. However, I have discovered I can play using my tablet (Samsung) and the Edge browser.

After the initial change over, my farms were loading and I was able to do some planting/harvesting, fishing etc. But now my farm does not load at all, it freezes at the black screen (see attached image). I have left it to load for over an hour and nothing changes.

I have tested for WebGL and it says my browser supports WebGL.
Any help is appreciated.

Hello Taz thanks for your help :) So in exploring for video card drivers I did update that.. tweaked a couple items but then reset to defaults because nothing really helped. As of now I am leaning to RAM issue. after that if I still have issues I will follow up. I did find (through a google search ) a tool.. I downloaded it.. I let it do a scan.. but it wanted money but I cancelled it LOL.. but as it scanned I saw that my RAM is an issue at 3.5 GB but optimal would be at very least 4 - through 8GB lol so at this point I feel a stick of RAM would be the thing to do and after that see what happens. I would link to the tool I found but I fear to post a link that might not be appreciated heheh ;)

Also my windows updates are current. I am not sure what flags in my settings you were referring to though. Settings for which exactly?

The functions in the map are not ready yet, so if they allowed the map to open you still wouldnot get the functions in it. lease be patient while they get the rest of the functions working.
