HTML5/WebGL: Game Not loading or frequent crashes

Won’t load, stops at black screen. 4 days ago it worked on Chrome. I could fish, harvest, chop, collect animal sheds. 3 days ago Chrome no longer worked, but Firefox did and I could do all those things. 2 days ago, Chrome still wouldn’t work, Firefox no longer worked. This evening I followed instructions from the link at the top of the game for not loading. I went down the list one by one, and all are ok. Still, neither Chrome nor Firefox works. It freezes at the black screen. This is the stuff from the bottom (on Chrome):

Please try clearing your browser cache for both browsers, then close them, restart your computer, then open your farms and see if they will work.

I moved your post to the HTML5/WebGL version of the Game: Not loading or frequent crashes or game too slow as this is where you need to post if you cannot open the game.
If you are not getting any error message please let it sit and finish loading. The first time you open the game it needs to down load all the graphics. This can take several minutes. The orange bar does not go all the way across, so that isn't an indication that it is stuck.

First click on FT Console below the game and open it if it is not. We need the last Checkpoint number you see in that list.
If it still is not loading check the items in the first post of this thread to see if those show a problem with your computer.

If this is the first time it has happened, try clearing your browser cache, close your browser, then reload your farms.

I was able to get back on last night following your instructions. Worked fine. I was able to get on this AM and it worked fine. When I tried tonight around 8:30pm-9pm I got the same message for the 4th time. Tried clearing my cache again, but it did not help. When I get on Facebook and then it hit the Farm Town logo and then when it starts loading this is when I get the message using Chrome. However if I go on using Foxfire, it loads but then when I collect my gifts, they don't really get collect and whenever I am able to get back on Chrome I have to collect them a second time. That is one of the reason I always try to use Chrome too many issues for me with Foxfire.

I use Firefox exclusively and have no problem accepting and collecting gifts. Whe n you are in Fire fox, please make sure you have cookies and pop ups allowed using the instructions in the following link:

When you clear the browser cache, you need to close the browser for that to finish clearing and then reopen to load your farms. Restarting your computer would not hurt if that doesn't get you back in as well.

Are you only playing Farm Town on an iPad? Is it working fine on your computer?

The concentration at this time is to get the game loaded on computers and laptops first.

All I can tell you about iPads is that you need to do any updates and optimizations it's recommending to you. Those with older iPads and older software are having problems. We do know that those with iOS 10 are able to load Farm Town. Those with the latest iOS versions like 14 don't seem to be having any issues as far as we know.

Have you made any changes to your browser since you were last able to load the new version of the game? If you have you might want to change those back especially if it was an extension you added and enabled to your browser.

Please also check that your browser is up to date, if it's not please do those updates. If you still can't load the game after that please go to the 1st post on page 1 of this thread. Try clearing your browser cache, close your browser and then reload your farms. Hopefully that will get you back in.

Since I bought a newer Mac, I have been given the lamest advice from support, such as clean my internet history (which this laptop had no history when I brought it home), try letting the game boot on its own for 10 or 15 minutes (I sat and watched it do nothing for half an hour then did hour chores for two and a half hours and came back to the same black page)....., and my favorite, which is to post to this thread, where my posts have been moved to no-one knows where and have gotten NO response.
Every dat or two, I pop on and STILL get the same black screen with the Unity logo, and my few good neighbors keep asking when am I going to get back on..., and I have NO answers for them. :(
So I'm trying again. I would like a little help this time. This Mac was recently purchased, it has does not have Flash on it, it was never installed, my internet history is purged on a regular basis.

If you are still having this problem and have not made any changes to your browser please check if the browser needs updating then try just closing the browser and then reopen it and see if the message clears.

Please check which version of iOS you have and if it's not the latest version see if you can update to a newer version. The 1st post on page 1 of this HTML5/WebGL thread (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650270) was updated with more information since you last posted on the forum. It has new information to help those that can not load the game. Please go there and read that post and see if anything listed there is that you have not already tried.

I am copying your post to the relevant closed thread where the developers will be able to see it, but if you have not already tried those items you do need to try them and then if the information you have already supplied changes please post here again to update that information.

I moved your post to the HTML thread since you have gotten this error.


It seems to be common when an error happens while farming that the WebGL will disable.Clearing the browser cache and closing the browser and/or restarting the computer does reset it to allow WebGL.



There is new information in the first post of this thread that may help with this. I am also going to copy your post to the closed thread for the developers to see also so maybe they can come up with a solution.

I am unable to load the game for days. Sometimes it goes almost to the end of the white line and just stops, or doesn't even get that far. Are you still trying to play on your mobile? you know that mobile devices are currently not supported, but some may work. It is better to wait and see how the game improves and what developers can offer. Also try different browsers to see if any of them could work for you.

If you play in your computer, then go to the first post, first page of this thread as developers added new information for you to check and try.

You can also try clearing your browser cache, close the browser, then reload your farms and see if that will work. If that doesn't work then try restarting your computer.

What happens when you try to go full screen and have you been able to use Full Screen previously?
Is this happening on your own farm or a friends farm?
What size and kind of farms are you not able to Full Screen on?
Are there any errors showing beneath the game screen when you try? If there are any showing please copy that error and post it in this thread.

I have been using HTML5 since Raul sent an early link to his survey group and even though Opera GX had this issue, today was the first time these 2 browsers also did this. And in the last half hour Facebook has been saying the game goes "against community standards" as if it were trying to load something against the rules or too quickly but allowing the game to open after clicking the blue OK button. I guess maybe it thinks Spectrum shouldn't have doubled the speeds or suddenly Chromium browsers are too fast? :rolleyes: Of course yesterday Facebook was having all sorts of problems even opening. It kept not being recognized by DNS... real fun when that happens

Hi Qivis,
The WebGL disabled is the error message that happens when the game encounters an error. The developers have not isolated what errors are causing this as it is several different situations including the game just sitting and not doing anything. It does disable it for the game and the only ways to get it back are just to close and restart the browser or to clear the browser cache, close the browser and restart the game.
I don't know what Facebook could be saying about it going against community standards as the game is not posting anything in Facebook currently. That may be for something else and not related to the game.

If you still can't get the game to open to show and work things like your crops and trees then please post your updated information, especially if it's different to what you have already previously supplied, along with any errors you are seeing beneath the game screen.

I’m continuing to have problems loading (stops on the black screen.) It appears to have a cycle. I’ve been alternating between Chrome (my preferred browser) and Firefox. I can get on for a two or three days, then it won't load. I go to Firefox and sometimes it will work there for a couple of days, and then it won't load anymore. Then I post on this thread and in a day or two, I can get in thru Chrome again. And the cycle restarts. Today I can't get in thru either Chrome or Firefox.

The developers have looked at this issue and can not determine exactly what is causing it. It does seem to be that Chrome shuts down the WebGL if the game is left idle for a period of time or it is caused by an error encountered when working, but not one they can identify. And it doesn't happen to everyone.

The only ways to correct it, that we know of currently, is either to just close down the browser and reopen your farms, or to clear the browser cache (not the memcache), close the browser, then reopen your farms. You might also try closing down the browser and restarting your computer. Please remember that after clearing the browser cache it will take longer , up to a few minutes for the game to load after that as it has to download all the graphics for the game.


For Firefox for the gifts,you need to make sure cookies and pop ups are allowed by the instructions in the following link:

The time frame is rather strange. If you can try getting on several days in the morning before 12:00 and make sure that works every time. Also see how long you can stay on into the afternoon. Then shut down and try to get back in during the afternoon.
What kind of internet connection are you on?

Is it hardwired (phone line) or a wifi link or satellite into the house?

It could be since there are certain times you can get on and others you can't that there is some reason that you are not getting enough signal speed or level that is preventing it from loading correctly in the afternoon.

It could also be something running on your computer in the background during the afternoon that could be interfering with the loading, such as an anti-virus or anti-malware scan.

Are you sending the gifts by the Send gifts tab or by returning gifts from the MY Requests? If it is the My Requests and you are not getting the gifts when you accept them then you could have stuck gifts. If that is the case then any return gifts may not go through either.
Please click in the following link and see if you have gifts there:

That is the Facebook Activity games page and if you see gifts there, but not in your My Requests, then there was a problem with gifts not going through facebook to the game.

If your gifts are showing up in Activity for Facebook, try to accept 2 or 3 and check if they go to your gift box. If they show up in your gift box, then you can continue accepting them 1 by 1.

If they dont go into your gift box, then those gifts were previously accepted using your My Requests tab and it is better to ignore them 1x1 by clicking in the X

Sometimes after accepting or ignoring gifts through Activity they show up again in My Request without problems but other times you have to wait a few days to get your gifts in your My Requests correctly.

I will give you the link from our Game Guide where it is explained how to use the Activity in Facebook.

If you connection contiunues to be ok in the morning and bad in the afternoon I would contact your ISP and have them check to see if they can find a problem. I had a problem with mine that I would get a huge drop in data transfer in and out during certain hours of the evening. They finally found a break in the lines that was causing this.

Which is the loading issue you are getting?

If your are a Mac user, then we have this information:

Mac users we are aware that some of you are having difficulty loading using Safari or Chrome. It appears to be those with older versions of iOS that are having difficulties so please do any updates to your computer that are showing needing done and make sure you have updated to the highest version of iOS that it will allow. Those with the latest versions, for example iOS 14 do not seem to be having any issues. If you have a older version of iOS please try Opera and see if that will work for you.
If you have problems doing the updates, then you can try contacting Apple Help Center or check the following:

Hi derfischmac,

Are you still using your iPad to play the game or are you using a computer when this happens? The concentration at this time is to get the game loaded on computers and laptops first. All I can tell you about iPads is that you need to do any updates and optimizations it's recommending to you. We do know that those with iOS 10 are able to load Farm Town on iPads. Those with the latest iOS versions like 14 don't seem to be having any issues as far as we know.

If you are using a computer please do any updates showing on it and check if Firefox is up to date. If it's a Mac please see what iOS version you have. If it's an older version please try Opera browser.

Have you tried enabling the Compressed graphics setting in your game preferences? if you're not sure where that is please go to the 1st post on page 1 of this HTML5/WebGL thread. (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650270)
There is more information and help for you there, the option for Compressed Graphics is explained at the bottom of the post. If you decide to try another browser please also refer to that post for any issues you find listed there.

Did Apple say if the IOS could be updated? You have version 11.2 and they are up to version 14. I am not sure that 11.2 will work.

You can try the items in the announcement at the top of any of the forum sections and there are steps you can check in the first post of this thread to try also.

I am sorry, but there isn't anything we can do to fix this. You can still play on the older computer as it apparently is at least able to do the HTML/WebGL.

Did you try the Opera browser on your Mac to see if that browser would work?

What do you get to in the loading on your Mac? What is the last Checkpoint number you see in the FT Console?

I have been reading with interest the negative comments already posted on different sites,
seriously folks, quit the complaining and have a bit of patience.
the developers have been working long hours on this transition and so what if we have to go back to basics for a while - I see the problem is some players are so dam spoilt by the great job that has been done in developing farmtown to the game it is, that some expectations are way too extreme.
Farmtown in a game - a game folks, not real life - your future is not dependant on 'getting to work your farms each day'

Please check if your browser is updted and if you have any update for Windows. Remember to close and restart after any update.

If the game still doesnt load, then clear your browser cache. Take in mind that after the clearing, it will load slowler, it could last till 5 minutes as all graphics have to be loaded again.

What were you doing when it crashed? Have you been able to get back into the game since the crash?

Slashkey.com has known for the previous six months that flash would be disabled. Why was the work not done prior to the shut down so that playing the game would not be disrupted? Furthermore, we are told to include in this message, numbers and other info from the bottom of the screen. Sorry folks, by the time my computer has frozen and my play has halted, there is nothing to show, much less try to remember a random list of numbers. I cannot imagine pouring any more real dollars into this game until it is up and fully functioning! Since there are many tools that I have paid for and am not able to use, we players need to be given cash dollars as reimbursement for the losses we have had due to the unnecessary delayed transition.

I moved your post to the HTML5 thread as you are having problems getting the game frozen.

It is impossible to migrate the whole game at once as they wouldnt be able to find and fix the issues. This is a 12 years complex game and every feature has to be tested before releasing.

If you are not able to load the game please check if there is any update for Windows, you can type update in the search box and you usually get "search for updates", you have to follow the instructions. Remember to close and restart after updating.


After that then follow the instructions given in this announcement:

The map and all within it are not available yet. Has nothing to do with security. The developers have not completed those functions yet in the conversion of the game and that is why they are not available yet.

The developers are concetrating on getting the game working in computers for now and not working on anything for tablets or phones.
It will work on IPads if it is an up to date version. I have a version 4 and it will not update so won't work. I have a newer one and it does open in it with Safari.

I like everyone else has been so frustrated with the performance of FT. But I will say this I have discovered that Microsoft Edge was 95% of the problem. I switched to Chrome. It isn't my fav but it eliminated so many of my loading problems....... this may not be the thread for this comment but if it helps one soul that was about to quit FT try any browser except Edge

Have you all done any updates for your computer that may be showing? If you have not please do them so that you know your computer is as up to date as it can be.

With windows computers, you can usually check for those by just typing the word update in the search box bottom left of your screen. You should then see something like search for updates which you can click on and then follow the instructions.

Please also make sure that the browser you are using is up to date, go to the 1st post on page 1 of this thread. (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650270) There is more information and help for you there, so please try those if you still can't load after doing your updates. If you make any changes to your browser please remember to close and reopen the browser before you try to load the game.

If after trying those you still can not load Farm Town at all, please supply your USER ID that is in the message above the game screen and the information showing below the game screen as well as any errors if you see them there.

Hi Mlcaver,
You don't need puffin now for playing on your tablet because you don't need Flash. As long as you have an up to date operating system on the tablet and up to date browsers then it should work on your tablet.

That said the developers are concentrating on getting the game back to working fully on regular computers and laptops. After that then they may be able to work on any tablet/phone issues with it.

Hi Sunnyray,
The problem is none of us have Mac computers, so we don't know what needs to be done for you to get into Farm Town. You may have to switch browsers to try to find one that will work. Many Mac users have been able to use Opera, where Safari and Chrome didn't work.
Your post was copied to a closed thread for the developers to look into this, but there is a lot going on with them trying to get the rest of the game restored. I wish we had a list to tell you exactly what you need to do or something the developers could do to make it so you can get in, but unfortunately we don't.

There are instructions for many browsers on how to clear the browser cache in the following link:

You can find the extensions by clicking on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of your browser and then choose Add-ons there. If you or someone hasn't added any for you like one to keep Facebook using the old layout, then there is nothing for you to do there.


If you still can't load the game at all and do your own farm work, you need to list 3 things in your post:


Your USER ID - It is the long number you see in the message above your game. It also shows right at the bottom of the page underneath the game screen. Do not copy the USER ID in the picture in this post, you need your own USER ID.
What stage the game got stuck at loading - black, grey, white or green screen.
The LAST Checkpoint in the log beneath the game. If you can't see the log click on Toggle FT Console. That will open and close the log.

I moved your post to the subject thread about HTML/WebGL loading issues.
If this was the first time you tried to load up the HTML/WebGL version then you probabliy didn't wait long enogh. The first time you load this version it has to download all the graphics for the game. It can take a several minutes to download all of those. At least you have gotten it open and working.

Hi Clohar :)

I visited your farms and loaded your farm 14 with everything showing in preferences, it lasted about 1 minute to load but it finally did.

You have many facilities, decorations and trains on that farm, maybe you could uncheck all but facilities and see if that helps you.

You can also try memcache, link below, to clear your game memory. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings, close that window and your farm if it is open in another tab. Then reopen your farms.

I was working at my farms when it crashed. I am able to get back in, but can only work for a minute and the screen goes black. When I refreshed it will show the unity logo and say WEBGL is not supported, however it is enabled.

Hi Dan.Joan,
Unfortunately that is usually what happens when your game crashed. There are not any other indicators or error messages yet. If your farms are heavily layered that does cause problems and may crash or freeze. When you get back in it might help if you turn off anything you do not need, to do the work you are trying to do, in your preferences.

To clear the WebGL not enabled you may need to either close and reopen your browser or you may need to clear your browser, close it , then reopn and reload your farms.


Please try the steps in the Announcement at the top of each section of the forums and also those in the first post of this thread.

Yes, please check the suggestions we have for Macs, also check that any browser you are using is updated and if Chrome is not working correctly you could try Opera browser.

Hi Taz. I just now found this post and reply. I still crash constantly, and doing a simple task like removing a facility from storage taking several minutes per facility seems a bit extreme. After hours, and I mean LOTS OF HOURS of putting facilities back on a farm, it tells me there are too many there. Now trying to move them, and it's impossible. I crash almost everytime I work someones facilities, and after having to hard reboot my computer, which is an Imac with TONS of Ram and memory, I am afraid to keep doing that. Do you have any idea when issues like these will be addressed or resolved? It is beyond frustrating to try to do much of anything. Maybe time to throw in the towel? I had asked about Mac being able to use your new platform, and you said yes, but it seems that Mac, chrome, opera and all the other browsers still have the same problem with the game. I do not have any issues using any of my other software or browsing the internet. I hope you can help.

I am sorry, but I am not sure what MAC advice you are talking about or from whom. Unfortunately none of us have Mac computers, so we are not able to duplicate any of the problems or find solutions.

Have you made any changes to your browser since you were last able to load the game?
Is your browser up to date? If you're not sure please check.

Also close and restart and see if that fix the problem.

If not, then clear your browser cache. The first time you try to load the game after the clearing, it will load a little slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.

I like all the things you have done but find it very odd that you considered doing all this work on Microsoft only. Mac computers are highly used and that should have been considered when working on the change over. Us Mac users never had these problems with Adobe. The crashing is very common now. It never used to happen. I have plently of memory and have the Gl 2 and I still get crashes on every browser out there and I have never used Safari. So it isn't that. Why were us Mac users just discarded. I have been playing since 2009 and have invested a lot in the game which I really love but when so many of us have issues, it is really a shame that not one could get a Mac and try and figure it out. Please consider that people like myself have invested money and 11 years in this game only to be told none of you use a MAC.

If you have not already done so, please check that you have done all your updates on your computer and that your browsers you're using is up to date. If you have added any extensions to your browser that are enabled, please disable all of them while you try to load the game, so that you can eliminate those as causing any issues.

Then if you have not checked the 1st post on page one (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650270) of this thread recently please go have a look at it. There is information and help for you there about computer requirements for optimal game play and what to try if your slow loading is caused by a slow internet connection or perhaps due to the amount of items on your farms.

If after doing those you still can not load the game today, please list the following items in your post:


Your USER ID

What stage the game got stuck at loading - black, grey, white or green screen.

The first 10 lines of what is showing in the FT Console log underneath the game and also the LAST Checkpoint in the log beneath the game.

What kind of computer you are using, Windows or Mac.

If you are not sure how to get to another of your farms please try clicking on this link, it will take you to your smallest farm, farm 43:

Without you listing what you have already tried to resolve this, I may suggest something you have already done. As you are saying Chrome is a little slow as well as your issue with Firefox, I will just list what to try for both of them.

Please check that you have done:

all your software and driver updates on your computer

What type of computer do you have and what browsers are you using?



Without you listing what you have already tried to resolve this, I may suggest something you have already done.

Please check that you have done:

all your software and driver updates on your computer
make sure that Chrome and Firefox are up to date and that hardware acceleration when available is enabled in the browsers
any extensions on the browsers that added, are disabled while you try to load the game.

I moved your post to the subject thread about the HTML version loading problems. The game has been playable since early January.



If you are having trouble loading Farm Town, please check if there is any update for Windows or Mac, you can type update in the search box and you usually get "search for updates", you have to follow the instructions. Remember to close and restart after updating.

Also make sure your browser is updated as sometimes they do not automatically update.

After that then follow the instructions given in this announcement:

You have to try all suggestions under FIRST LOAD OF FARM TOWN.
After trying them all, then restart and check again if your game loads.

If your game doesnt load, then you have to provide the information under PERSISTENT LOADING ISSUES.
Please notice that for point 3, developers are asking for the last Checkpoint information.

If you dont see the information below your game screen, then click in Toggle FT console and scroll down the page using the bar on the right till you find the last Checkpoint information.

I have it on my Android phone, but too small to do anything. The developers are concentrating on getting the game finished for desktop/laptop computers and not doing anything for tablets/phones right now. We don't know if they will work on those later or not.

But the new message indicates that access to my account (except for returning gifts and unable to return lots of them.) is not located in a database.

I've checked the loading and working of WEB/GL and it works perfectly in 3d. I'm still having a problem...:(

AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.20 GHz processor
4 GB RAM, 3.75 GB usable
64-bit operating system
Windows 7, Home Premium (CANNOT upgrade to Windows 10!)

Windows 7 is as upgraded as it's going to get, they're not offering anymore updates to it.

For your Loading issue:

If you have not already done so, please check that you have done all your updates on your computer and that your browsers you're using is up to date. If you have added any extensions to your browser that are enabled, please disable all of them while you try to load the game, so that you can eliminate those as causing any issues.

Then if you have not checked the 1st post on page one (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650270) of this thread recently please go have a look at it. There is information and help for you there about computer requirements for optimal game play and what to try if your slow loading is caused by a slow internet connection or perhaps due to the amount of items on your farms.

If after doing those you still can not load the game, please list the following items in your post:


Your USER ID

What browser you are using and stage the game got stuck at loading - black, grey, white or green screen.

What is showing in the FT Console log underneath the game for WebGL and GPU renderer and also the LAST Checkpoint in the log beneath the game.

What kind of computer you are using, Windows or Mac and the version of operating software eg windows 10, macOS 11.

Your SN may not have found the registration email sent to them when they registered, without that and following the instructions in that email to verify, then they will see a message saying that they don't have permission to post in an area open for posting. Please ask them to check the spam/junk folder of their emails as it sometimes ends up there, they will need to look for it within 24 hours of registering. If they still can't find it then please let us know the user name they used to register with so we can take a look at the account.

In the meantime please ask have them check that they have done all updates on their computer and also checked for browser updates, then go to the 1st post on page 1 of this thread (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650270) so they can compare what their computer has to what would provide optimum game play and see if there is anything listed there that they have not tried yet.

Once they are registered if they still need to post, then they can provide the information themselves.

I have moved your post to the thread about issues with loading the game.

You do not have any previous posts about this on the forum, so I'm assuming that you have been working with support about this, you need to reply to their emails to you to to continue working with them as we do not know what they have asked you to do so could suggest the same things to try.

You may want to check you have also done the following before you reply to support in case you have not already done these:

If this has only happened recently, could you have made any changes to your browser? If you have not already done so, please check that all your updates are done on your computer, that your browser is up to date and any extensions added and enabled on it are disabled while you try to load the game.

Do you get the same problem and error if you use another browser? Which browsers are you using?

I am not having any problems loading your default farm with everything showing. I also tried several other heavy farms and no problems with those either or any error messages.

We can not see enough information about the error you are seeing from your pictures. You should be able to copy the information in the console beneath your game about memory, webGL and also the error and paste it into your post or your reply to support rather than sending a picture. If support want to see your pictures they will let you know how to send them to you.

I moved your post to the subject thread about HTML loading problems.
U75 is the last step of the loading.
As you have never said what you have tried please Please check if there is any update for Windows or Mac, you can type update in the search box and you usually get "search for updates", you have to follow the instructions. Remember to close and restart after updating.

Also make sure your browser is updated as sometimes they do not automatically update.

After that then follow the instructions given in this announcement:

You have to try all suggestions under FIRST LOAD OF FARM TOWN.
After trying them all, then restart and check again if your game loads.

Are you getting WebGL supported but Disabled ?

Try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps you. First time you load the game after the clearing, it will load slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.

When I am working multiple farms the farms and the browser becomes unstable and freezes up after about 4-8 farms and has to be shutdown and restarted. It is worse when there is a lot of fishing.
Before the switch over I would go offline to work and that would help to speed things up and reduce the chances of locking up

If those farms are heavily layered try unchecking all the show items you do not need for the work, before going to their farms.

I have moved your post to the current thread for loading issues. I have also removed your email address from your post for safety, please try to remember not to include it in your posts here as this is a public forum.

I am a little confused by what it is you are saying, you mention both black screen and white screen when you try to load the game. Which browsers is it you are using now, Firefox or Chrome, are they both a problem and both stuck at lower U levels?

Have you made any changes to your browser other than updating it since you last were able to load the game? Are cookies and popups still allowed in your browser, please check that those have not been disabled and also check that your browser is still up to date and that any extensions added to it are disabled while you try to load the game.

I have turned off all the show settings in your preferences that would show what is on your farms for you so that you are not trying to load those as well when you first try to load the game. Close all other open tabs in your browser so that you are only trying to load Farm Town in your browser. If you can load that farm, don't try to show anything in preferences, just try going farm to farm and see if you can load them all with nothing showing. If you can, try showing just one item like show crops and see how you get on with that before you try to show any more. As you like to heavily layer waters on your farms I would leave those until last to try. When you are doing your SN work please try only showing the items you need to work on so you have less to load.

Hi Terri0421,

If you have previously been able to load all your farms and work them and you have not added to your farms which would make loading them slower than before or changed anything in your browsers then it sounds like you have a slow connection somewhere which you may have to wait out for whoever owns the connection to see the problem, find and fix it. There's no way to pin exactly where that problem connection is.

There's no need for you to clear memcache again today as you've already done it several times.

It's sounding like you are having problems when trying to work heavy farms so as you show more items the problem gets worse. If it is a slowdown somewhere and you can't work the items by showing just one type, working it, hiding it and then showing the next one either then you'll have to wait that out and see if it improves.

If you haven't you tried the following already it might be worth doing it to make sure nothing in your routers memory is hanging up the game either:

shutting down the computer
turning off your modem/router for a few minutes
then reboot


Then try the game again and see if it's hanging up when going to a specific farm, if it does let us know which of your farms it's doing it on and we will try loading it to see if we get any problems with it as well. Also when it hangs up, look in the console beneath the game and see if it's showing you any errors or webGL going disabled.

When it tells you that your browser (Chrome) doesn't support WebGL it is becaus e an error has occurred. To fix it you need to clear your browser, close the browser and then reload your farms. The first time after doing the clearing it will take a few minutes for it to download all the graphics again. You can find instructions on how to clear your browser cache in the following link:

For the shortcut on your Facebook, that is not something Farm Town has control over. That is Facebook. You can access the Game by clicking the Play FarmTown button at the top of the forums to get to your farms.

> Check if your browser is updated

> Clear your browser cache.

The first time after the clearing, the game will load a little slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.

Hi Country Girl,
I moved your post to the subject thread about HTML errors.
Please make sure your browser is up to date. Both Chrome and Firefox have had recent updates.
Some do get errors when trying to work on layered farms. The developers have not worked on anything for that as yet, since they are working on getting the other functions back into the farms. We do not know what they will do for the layering or if they can.
As long as you are able to get back into your farms then there isn't anything to do about this for now.
I will copy your post to the closed thread for the developers to look at that might help them find and fix the problem.

Thank You. You have no idea how hard it is for me to figure things out on here. Never know where to post so thanks for helping me and moving it to where it should be.

Everything is up to date on may computer. Browser cache and memcache done as well. I use Safari and at times Chrome. Usually it has been happening on Safari and I just reboot the game. But it will be a problem when we are hired at the market in the future if the feature to get us back to the employer who hired us is not working.
