I see an error log under my screen, I see you are aware of my missing Watermill, you have an unidentified error also listed and I noticed the only other thing I see missing is my Flag and flagpole, could that be the unidentified object? Yes you can buy tools in the Store. The only thing is you have to make sure you are buying them in order or it will not purchase it. Also don't purchase one you already own as it does not know the purchase is for coins as a duplicate. You can use the filters to show Owned or unowned.

You can not open the facilities section, but you can search for Bank and see it. I am not sure I would try to buy any until the facilities are available.

Hi Starstruck,
It is not just a translation like Spanish to English. It requires a lot of time to convert the code from one programming language to another.
Only the developers know when each function will be able to be added.

After replanting one farm and advancing to the next farm, the tool that was used on the prior farm is still highlighted which keeps me from seeing what is on the farm I just arrived on. I have to click on the little green man before the crops will show. Also, I am hoping that the time left until irrigation is something that is being worked on.

I moved your post to the subject thread about the migration. For now if you have a problem please post them here.
For the crop tools the only way you would keep the tool in hand when you cahange farms is if you didn't complete the planting on the first farm. You might want to go back to the first farm and then pick up the tool again. That should show you any plots that did not get planted.

Just wanted to point out that although the first message on this thread says this:" we have disabled the fuel consumption for all the tools in the game until we introduce the Facilities." I noticed today that fuel amount was reducing when I farmed. Its not a big worry for me right now as I do have fuel, but I wanted to point that out if it is going to take weeks for the game to get back up to running normally.. I will have to take break from playing before I do run out of fuel.

You can hide trees now. You can trees now. You can either click on a tree and choose hide. There are options to hide one or all.
We don't know how long it will take to but get all the functions working in the game again. I doubt it will be a year.
Even without bait you can still get 1 fish instead of 2. That is more than you have now.

I can go to my neighbor's farms. The market is gone for now until the developers add it back in according to the mods

No you can't go to the market. You can visit your neighbors farms but you can not do anything there.

How are you going to your neighbors farms? If you are using a saved bookmark then yes it may take you to your own farms. If you are going through the neighbor bar then you should be able to visit them but you can not do anything else on their farms.

As you are able to load the game you do not need to report the details in the message above the game.

Please go to the 1st post on page 1 and read the information there so you are up to date with the restricted version of the game. There is a list at the bottom which will give you an idea of what is and is not available until the rest of the features get added back to the game.

Just to add some information to this with facilities not working in the Unity version then Neighborhood Chains Contest, Super Facility, Facility Chains, and both quests will not work in it until facilities and those functions are added back in.

Anuimal buildings are working but you have to select one at a time and select
"Harvest ??? (Type of animal)"
Some may not show as working but if you check back after refreshing or moving to another farm you will see a new time for them

Harvesting animals is not supposed to be done just yet.
Please check and see if you got the correct amount. If you didn't then don't be surprised as it's unlikely the devs will have had time to able to work on those.

That can mean anything from 1 to 52. What is the scheduled timeline for features to be re-implemented? The Flash issue shouldn't come as a shock it's been YEARS since Flash was replaced.

I seem to be able to harvest animals, too, now. I made one round last night and just tried again and the times are correct, i.e., I was able to harvest my dairy sheds again (since it's been more than 8 hours), but none of the others.

I had a different error this morning. I was in full screen when it happened, but the event kicked me out of fullscreen. That made it harder for me to get the last checkpoint, so I just did a ctrl A then copied it all. There was also a dropdown box that said that an embedded page at 11.slashkey.com says that an error occurred running the Unity content on this page. The TypeError: Cannot read property 'push' of null at ... and then gives some Object.write or Object.writeToTargets info. I took a screenshot if you want it but the box was small and I wasn't able to scroll so it doesn't show everything.

I moved your post to the Migration thread.

Fuel is disabled for all of us. When you start working you will see it decreasses but as soon you finish that job, the amount goes back to the one you had .

Take note of your fuel amount before starting working and then check it when you stop and you will see the same amount.

Missing features will be added in a time and after being tested.

I always plant by stored amount so it was pretty clear something wasn't right when crops weren't dropping further down the list after harvesting.

When you harvest it shows the basic amount in storage. After you reload your farms the rest of it shows up in storage.

You can sell from your storage if you are getting too much in your storage with a high percentage. Open the storage, then click on the button in a box that says "Go to market to sell".
SInce you are only getting regular size boxes of flowers, etc, and nothing from youre facilities, then you should not have a problem with the percentage growing.

Fuel is disabled for all of us. When you start working on a farm you will see the fuel amount decreases but when you finish the amount goes back to what you previously had.

Please take note of your fuel amount before start working and you will see it is the same when you are done.

The map is not working yet. The only marketplace added is to let you sell your products. To sell them, you have to open your storage and click in the Go to Market to sell button in one of your products.

Missing features will be added at a time and after being tested.

Are you talking about animals in your animal sheds or those lose on the farms? They should all eventually come back when the rest of the functions are added.

This sounds more like either a memory problem or internet problem where the information is not getting through both ways in a timely manner.
Please try when you first open your farms, going to the preferences and uncheck the Show items for say all but crops, close your farms and then reopen them and see if you can move from farm to farm.

Check the total number for your experience before you start working and when you stop. You will see it is still adding the points. The leveling up is not added in yet, so you will earn the points and then when the leveling up function is added back in you will jump up to the level you should be at for the amount of experience you have and will get the farm cash for those levels added.
Please note you do not earn experience for harvesting. You only get it for plowing and replanting.

In your toolbar at the bottom of your farms where the toolbox and the map are, do you see anything just to the left of those? Something that looks like a grey icon with a red circle on it containing "++".


As you have turned of the animations for the work then you will not see anything floating up, but the waters should disappear after you have worked them. If they disappear or fade out then they have been done and the fish sent to your storage.

Since we don't know what you are referring to please give us some more details. If you are talking about the animations you see when fishing, please go to your preferences and uncheck the box for Show coins and exerience animations. Then close your farms and reopen them and tey fishing again.


By the way I fish my farms twice a day and have not noticed any problems with it.

We do not have the tool tips for telling how much you have yet. The only thing I can tell you is to harvest your pigstys individually to keep your supply up until we get the tips and more functions added to the game.

I never had this issue on the old version nor do I have this on anything that I play. If I go away from the game like here, the fan stops. I am thinking it has to do with the graphics but I am not sure. Any ideas or am I the only one with this issue. It is a concern and worries me that my MacBook Pro will over heat. I was only on my second farm and the fan was on.

I don't think my manure spreader and my green sprinkler are working properly. Considering that I am not using anything for my facilities, my crops, trees, and flowers should be increasing at a much higher rate than they are.
Also before the switch over, my fish were generating about 10 billion coins a day and now they are only generating about 5.5 billion. Considering that I was almost always out of bait and reserved what I did have for my farm cash waters that is a huge discrepancy

The missing space you've indicated is where the gift box would normally show. You can't change your shortcuts yet. It looks like all your other spaces are used, are you sure the flower harvester was a shortcut?

Try reloading the game after you have finished your work and it should update the amounts.

If you're used to hiring out, could you have forgotten that at that moment because you can't do that that you're not getting the extra bonus for hiring as well?

Has anyone else experienced sluggish performance of the regular SMALLER tools like the 3x3s or 4x4s? I use those to plant and maintain my Quest farm which has NO layering at all. But the farm starts to lag and eventually will not drag so I can continue replanting wasted crops on my Quest farm. The tools often misfire and plant one plot instead of the nine. On the up side, the constant freezing of farms as one is working the EZ tools seems to be gone. Thank you!

I plant and harvest but my count never changes or moves to another level. I can not see my neighbors, as they are just shadow figures. I have been playing this game for the last 15-16 and have put a lot of time and money into this game. WHAT the heck is happening??? Why can't we use Flash any longer? I am going to have to quit. I have moved your post to the thread abiout the migration since you can get into your farms. This is a restricted version so not all the functions have been added yet. Please be patient while the develoers work to get all the functions added in.
The total for your experience is adding, but the leveling up is not added yet. When the levels are added back in then you will jum up the levels for your XP.

Please go to the first post on page one (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650134) to help get yourselves up to date with what is currently available to use in the game. There is a list towards the bottom that will help you.

The quick answers for the question you have all asked:

There is no gift box in the game at this time so you can't use any gifts you accept yet. Send gifts to your friends as as normal and then when the gift box is back you will have a whole bunch ready to be able to accept and use. The gifts you have already accepted are still in your gift box in game, so as long as you don't sell them they should still be there when the gift box is enabled again.

The only shortcuts you will be able to use and see are the ones for the tools that are currently available to use in the game that you had made a shortcut before the move to the new version. You can not change the shortcuts yet. There are some issues where a shortcut may be displaying over a neighbor, that issue is being looked at to fix.

You do not have the ability to go online or offline at this time. There are no avatars yet so you you cant see them to hire or chat so there's no need for that yet.

Layering - as usual, I'm sorry but we are not permitted to give you instructions on how to do them or allow anyone to post them so we do remove any instructions from posts asking about those even if they are not the full instructions. We are aware that many are not able to do this at this time. The game is not back to the normal method of play yet and the developers are very busy working on that, so you'l just have to wait and see what will be possible to do as we get the rest of the features added back to the game.

Please go to the first post on page one to familiarize yourself with what's currently available in the game. There is a list towards the bottom to help you. Not everything is available to use in the game yet so some things will still be grayed out.

No, we dont have that information. At this moment if you want to empty your gift box you can go to Market and sell the gifts.

To go to Market, open your Storage and click in Go to Market to Sell button in one of your products.
Once at Market, click in Gifts tab and you can sell them one by one.

Thanks. I know you probably don't know but have the developers given any clue as to when we get the markets/real estate office/inn back (the map)? And also when will we be able to work for neighbors again? When I go to my one playing neighbor's farms all I can do is water for her. Also the icon to send her a message is not available but the envelope for messages is at the top of the game where it should be.

On Monday you were still able to play with the Flash version. The new HTML version does not have the Map or Markets yet. Those functions will be added over time.

It has been nearly a week since Flash was removed and I STILL can only get to farm tools (plow, sower, harvester, waterer, etc), but NOTHING else - no quests, facility managers, ships, trains - it's all grayed out. My neighbors probably think I died, as I cannot send on their ships! There is no point in my even logging in, since I can't DO ANYTHING! I'm sure I have lost all my nearly-completed quests and my ship status. When will I be able to farm again? :mad:

It's possible that you will only be able to get to the farms for those you are a Super Neighbor for, not those you have set as an SN unless you are also SN for them, as that's the one next features that the devs are planning on releasing next.

I have moved your post to the thread about the Game Migration as you can load the game.

Make sure that your browser is up to date and then have a look in your browser settings, there's usually a search bar in there that you can type the word hardware in. If you don't have a search bar you might find this in the advanced settings. Look for Use hardware acceleration when available See if it's enabled, if it's not try enabling it, close and reopen your browser and see if that helps.

Keep an eye on what's in the first post on page one of this thread. There is a list near the bottom to help you know what's available sop far. That post gets updated as we get them.

It is ridiculously difficult to earn farmtown cash as it is, taking many weeks to earn enough to buy an additional tool. The quests are an iota of a help. I use working others farms as a way of trying to speed this up.

It is not easy to migrate a game which is almost 12 years and with monthly releases.

In the first post of this thread you will see which features are available at this time and which ones have not been added yet or are being worked to be added shortly.

You do not earn coins for harvesting. You get the cros added to your storage, then you can sell those if you wish to get coins.

When you work you are consuming fuel, but when you stop and put the tool down the fuel is restored to your total.

This has been a common issue and I am sure that it will show back up when they get the facility function added back into the game. Please be patient while they work on adding the functions in that are not currently available.

If you are trying to use it to layer then it is not working for that yet. You have to have a clean spot to land the items you are buying.

Am I correct in assuming that the new bar that is appearing over the neighbor bar is simply listing the requirements for the game that my computer is far and above? It may be coincidental timing, but I keep getting the dreaded Blue Screen of Death and according to Windows 10 it is a failure of the AMD GPU (5500XT) driver. This did not start happening until the 12th of January when Flash Player began being blocked by Adobe. Other applications are not doing this, but it seems to occur when I finish a group of ready crops and then jump to the next place the green bars start appearing in the watchtower chart. If no one can really answer this I will understand since not everyone has a custom rig....

I don't have an answer for you. If it is telling you ther AMD GPU driver is failing then I would have someonbe look at it and see if the video card has a problem.

We don't know how much of the layer will be available in this version yet, so yes there may be some problems with it. I don't think clearing the memcache is going to solve this for you. Right now we have to wait and see what is avaialbe later.

I've seen a lot of people arguing over the use of the FT Memcache & clearing cache now with HTML5. Some say you shouldn't use the memcache any more, some say you shouldn't clear cache. I take it this is related to why I have had to click multiple times with the extended flower picking tool in a single position on some farms to have them all done as well? :) I would have asked earlier but was assuming it may be unique to my farms.

Regarding flowers staying watered I think I worked out what is happening. The watering level is not being calculated properly (perhaps because the water level bar is not fully functional yet) and is showing fully watered until the watering expires, then it goes directly to unwatered. The watering can/sprinkler is being controlled by the displayed level of water (100% or 0%) and you cannot water again until it goes to 0%.

They didn't let the Flash version end. The was done by Adobe andno9t Farm Town. In fact they kept the Flash version up until Adobe stopped Flash from working. lease be patient as they work on getting the other parts added and getting the many into the game that still can't get in.

Duplicates constantly appear when trying to move buildings or trees to get to my barns, etc. Just letting you know. It's ok, but thought you might need feedback. Firefox works for awhile, then freezes.

I am not sure it would be classified as the first version as we are u to build 34 and they have added some functions as listed in that first post. But that is not going to tell you when the full game function will be done.

We are aware of the duplicate items when moving them around.
