You do have to have a clear space to set the item down even with the purple hand currently. Hiding everything doesn't help because you can't see where the clear area is.

I don't have the purple hand. I just have the yellow, orange and green hands. I've hardly got anything on my 31st farm so I should be able to place it down but can't

Please do not put your email address in your posts. This is an open forum, so anyone can see it. Also we do not email answers back. They are only posted in the forums.


The developers are working on getting the rest of the functions in the game. Please be patient. You can find what is currently available in the first post of this thread. Any updates of function release will be posted there.

Hi Diana,
Please both of you check the settings for the work you want done. Click on them in Neighbor bar and choose Edit Super-Neighbor. You may need to remove each other as SN and then both restart the farms. Then reset as SN and the settings.


Also, both try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.

I want to commend all the Slashkey staff and moderators for doing such a fantastic job in supporting the roll out of HTML5. I'm up and running as well as expected give the limitations of t he release. My only hiccup is the previously reported freeze(via memory leak) when fishing extremely stacked farms as a SN. Other than that, all is well. I have an observation with respect to the subject title. When checking my preferences as advised, I saw a box that was checked with no description beside it. I was curious as to what was being checked off. See pic below:

That one is for the Ships, but since they are not available yet then it is blank.

Unfortunately the layered/stacked waters will cause a problem at the moment. Hopefully they will be able to help with that later in the migration process.

Yes it isthe same for everyone. The Map is not available yet. You can see what is available in the first post of this thread. Any updates when they add functions will be added there as well, so check that post for those.

There isn't any way for us to check.

Have you done the following?
Please check if there is any update for Windows or Mac, you can type update in the search box and you usually get "search for updates", you have to follow the instructions. Remember to close and restart after updating.

After that then follow the instructions given in this announcement:

You have to try all suggestions under FIRST LOAD OF FARM TOWN.
After trying them all, then restart and check again if your game loads.

There is a list of what is currently available in the game towards the bottom of the post that will help you. We will update that list as the rest of the features are added back.

Another issue to address at some point, no rush, but the scroll bar for choosing what to plant behaves very erratically. Sometimes a click takes the scroll bar all the way to the bottom as if we clicked on the arrow and not the bar. The item choices don't go all the way though?

The functions you are asking about have not beed added yet. We don't know how long it will take the developers to get the rest of the function added back into the game, but I do know they are working at doing so. Please be patient while they work through all the problems getting those added.
You can always find everything available and any new updates in the first post af this thread.

The transplanters are not available yet. You can find what is available in the first post of this thread and any updates of added functions when they become available.

- Activated the Super Neighbour hiring for design
- Activated the 'Edit Farm Name' and other farm options screen when you click the Farm Name at the top
- Added the visitor panel when visiting other users at the bottom left of the screen
- Added the special tooltips for Manure Spreaders and Mobile Sprinklers in the Toolbox showing total manure available and how soon those tools can be used
- Old valentine items. If we have time we will release a few new valentine items, but this is unlikely.

- Bugfix: Gift box always shows the buttons inside an item rectangle even when there is only one item in the gift box
- Bugfix: Miltiplanters allowing to plant trees over the edge of the farm
- Bugfix: Moving items to another place on the farm still showed the item name when mouse over the place it was before the move
- Bugfix: When visiting other farmers, the Farm Name at the top didn't change to reflect the current farm name
- Bugfix: Buldozer not working correctly on farms with trees planted over flowers, if the trees were hidden and you deleted flowers, the hidden trees were deleted as well

Note: Coming next is the Show Facility Details for single facilities on the farm (this is needed before we implement the Facility Manager), Facility Manager and Search Tool.

My storage says the capacity is 73%. I sold a ton of stuff at the market I do mean a ton of stuff and it didn't move down at all. This is showing on the harvest and products side not the items side. That said my items side is about 73% full. I haven't said anything before now thinking FT would fix the issue but now I am wondering what is going on. Is the 73% for the H&P side which can't be right unless they decreased storage by a ton because I sold millions of products and it didn't go down at all, or is this for the items side. If it is for the items side it doesn't need to be showing on the H&P side we need to know how full that side is.

The percentage is for the Harvest & Products side. If you sold parts of items then it will not change the percentage, because you still have all the boxes for the harvests or products.

That percentage will show less when you sell Non-ingredients because that removes the box for those items or if you you have large or gift boxes of items as will as the regular side you can run the Zip to consolodate all 3 boxes to one box with the regular one.
The amount of each type does not play that big a part in the percentage. 73% is low enough you should not have to worry about the percentage at this point.

When you pick up the seeder or the combine to be able to plant the seeds should show up. If the farm you are planting on has a restriction to a certain time length crop you should only see those. Are you not seeing the seeds at all?

Are your superneighbors tools in storage? If not, she has to put them in her storage.

Are you able to see your own tools when trying to work her farms?

Is this happening in all her farms? She should check if she has set her farms to Disable Superneighbor Farming option. She can check this by clicking in her farms name above the game screen. If that option is checked, she has to uncheck it and then click in the green check mark to save changes.

It tells me so many animals are ready to harvest, but when I try to process them it does nothing. Also I can't increase my farms sizes. It is not fun to not interact with the other farms. Is this happening in other farms ??? This is my 2nd post about this but I never got an answer.

You were answered after your other post about this. The game is still restricted. You can see what is available to do in the first post of this thread.
As you are starting over and only have 1 farm then when you harvest your animal sheds you will not see a message float up, but they will harvest and put the products into your storage. This is a known glitch and the developers have not fixed it yet.
Farm expansions are not available yet.

I found that refreshing the game worked but just thought it was worth mentioning what was happening
I have an SN whom i help, she has her farms set to plant ertain crops for me to do
When i click on the combine the seed screen is blank. When i refresh the game it is ok then this never used to happen
I know you are very busy and this is more of a minor irritant than a major problem at the moment i do know that the same is happening to my SN when she visits my farms and her other sn

Is this happening every time you go to their farm or was this just the first time you went to to each of them? I've just tried this and I'm getting the correct options of what to plant show up immediately. It's sounding like the game was still trying to load their data so there was a delay.

If you are still getting this problem when you next need to plant for them, please run the FTmemcache and then try clearing your browser caches/history to make sure you have all the latest updates don to the game recently. Remember once you clear browser caches, 1st load of your farms and theirs will be slower, then should improve when you next reload the game.

To clear your FT memcache Click Here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached). A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then reload.

I have moved your post to the thread about the game migration. We are all playing a restricted version of the game. The rest of the features will be added back as soon as they can be done.

Not seeing your avatar should not be preventing you from doing your farm work. You should be able to use your own tools as normal from the toolbox to do your farm work.

There is a list towards the bottom of the post that will help you. We update that list as the rest of the features are added back.

If your crops trees etc are not loading so that you can see them to work them please go to this thread in the forum, and see if there is anything there that you have not already tried. Please post in that thread if after trying those, you still can not load your farm work to be able work those items:

I'm sorry but you have to enter the game to be able to store your gifts from your gift box and then be able to accept new ones.

You can send gifts to your friends as usual but you cant accept more until you store the ones in your gift box.

There are now more things you can try to help you load the game, some of those you will be able to do yourself without an IT guy. However if your spam filter is still blocking Farm Town you may still need to wait for him to sort that out.

There are also links for some of them that will show you videos that you can watch. You might find those easier to follow to be able to check those yourself. Even if you can't it's worth showing your IT guy that thread so he has an idea of what he needs to check on your computer. He should be able to check all those for you easily.

They are working hard at trying to get the rest of the functions back in the game. We do not know the timeline as it depends on how many problems they run into when converting the program code. None of us are getting any younger. Please be patient and use what is avilable for now. More coming soon we hope.

If you have room in the animal sheds (must be on current farm with those) you can add them to those if they are not filled.


To sell them, click on your Storage, then in any product listed there click on the Go to Market to Sell button. That will get you to the market for selling.
Click on Gifts at the top next to Storage. That will allow you to sell those animals.

To sell them, click on your Storage, then in any product listed there click on the Go to Market to Sell button. That will get you to the market for selling.
Click on Gifts at the top next to Storage. That will allow you to sell those animals.

You do not need to move them from the gift box to storage. You enter the market from your storage. Then click on the tab at the top for Gifts. That will let you sell them.

Clearing the memcache finally let me see something in my gift box to sell. 20 or so failed attempts :o & cleaning memcache did the trick.

We are aware of those errors for the mills.

About your animal sheds on farm 1: those sheds are indeed harvested, but you dont see the floating information telling you how much you got.

If you reload the game and hover your mouse on those sheds, you will see they show the time you have to wait to harvest them again.

Your Log truck w/chainsaw 12x8 is on one of your farms. You have to search for it and place it in your storage.
Click in your preferences, the wrench. Uncheck everything saying Show... but put a check mark for Show Tools option, so it will be easier for you to find it.

We know that users are purchasing farmcash but if you want to do that to send tools to a friend, that is still not working.
You can purchase farmcash and purchese tools for you.

We are aware of the issue with animal sheds placed on farm 1. They are indeed harvested anyway but you dont get the floating information about how many products were sent to storage.

For the flowers, could it be they are unintentionaly layered? Which flower harvester are you using?

Please try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps. First time you load the game again, it will load slower, it could last 5 minutes, as all graphics have to be loaded again.

The red dot on your own pic when visiting superneighbors has not been added yet.
When you are on your own farms, click in a pic in your neighbor bar below the game screen and then click in Order by Superneighbors option from the menu. That way you will see a red dot for all who are your superneighbors.

The change colors for your superneighbor's farm is not added yet. You can click in the Show Names in the grid and then in Show work info button to know which farms have jobs to do.

You have may trees in your storage but it doesnt show as full in your data. Try clearing the memcache and see if that helps you.

Which stuff are you selling? do you get the coins?

Stored amount always showed the lowest amount at the top and the highgest at the button. That way you can inmediately see which items you have the smallest amount.

I moved your post to the Game Migration Updates thread since you can now load your farms. What sort order do you have the neighbor bar set for?

If it is Order by Online Status, then you will be in Position 1. When it opens you are not shown. If you click on the green arrow to the left then it will move so you can see your own box.
If you use the other sort orders it will move you around in the list according to what list you are using.

This is because the animals have not been added yet, so they still point to the Flash graphic for them which you can not see either.

Theres a bug not sure if you know about it or not. When harvesting flowers, there are certain flowers and areas where it takes 2 to 4 clicks to clear all the flowers. Its not on all farms or the whole area of flowers. Its in certain spots. Thank you, you are doing a great job! ( 1384127481 )

We are aware of the problem with animal sheds on farm 1. But the sheds are indeed harvested and the products are added to your storage. The only problem is you do not get the floating message telling you how many products were added to your storage.

If you reload the game and hover your mouse on the sheds you will see the time you have to wait till you can harvest them again.
Also take note of the stored products before harvesting those sheds, and then check again AFTER reloading your game.

This has been noted. Instead of going back, try refreshing the farm and see if they have been actually harvested, before you try to harvest them again.
The rain drops are not there yet, but you do get a message float up about how many farms you have irrigated. The tooltip in the farm selector to show the irrigation has not been added yet either.

I had a look at your data and everything looks correct. Please take in mind that you are only getting xp for plowing and planting your own farms. A few days ago the work for Superneighbor was added so you can also work for your superneighbors if you have them.

We dont know how big are your neighbor's farms, how they are plowed, or which crops they are planting so we cant compare that with your farms.

Please clear your memcache, link below, a new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farm if it is open in another tab. Then reopen your farms and check if the pics are back.

It it a particular gift that you can not send or is it all of them?

Have you made any changes to your browser?
Please make sure that your browser is up to date and that 3rd party cookies and popups still allowed in your browser then please try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached). A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then try sending gifts again.

Hi Tiger, thank you for such a fast response. No changes have been made to my browser since the change from Flash and my browser is up to date. Memcache has been cleared. I can now get to the part where you choose how to find friends you want to send to. I click on the link Farmer Lists. It appears the link has worked but nothing happens.
When I accept gifts I can return, however I am only receiving 50 a day and before the change I was receiving well over 100. I've checked with friends and neighbours and they do not have this issue

According to your data no farmcash sheds are missing. We do not have data for the coins sheds.

Take in mind if your animal sheds are hidden below other facilities, then you cant see them as not all the options to Show regular facilities, service facilities and animal buildings were added to the preferences yet.
We cant check using the magnifying glass yet.


Please wait till facilities are added and animals are back and then you will be able to check again.
You know if you have problems at that time, you can post here again and we will try to help.

Your Log truck w/chainsaw 12x8 is on one of your farms. You have to search for it and place it in your storage.
Click in your preferences, the wrench. Uncheck everything saying Show... but put a check mark for Show Tools option, so it will be easier for you to find it.

We know that users are purchasing farmcash but if you want to do that to send tools to a friend, that is still not working.
You can purchase farmcash and purchese tools for you.

From what I see on your farms is your farms are stacked 3x and not 3 layers.


Pick a farm,check your storage amount for that crop, harvest them, check again the amount, then reload your farms and check the amount again.



I think your only problem is that you are not seeing the entire amount being stored after you have harvested. The updating of that information is not being doing completely instantly after harvesting and storing.

When you have the combine Harvest/Plow/Plant in your hands, click in the Eye in the bottom right corner to get it only half open.

That way all other items showing on the farm will go hidden while you are working.

What's preventing you from adding more super neighbours? Please descibe what is happening when you try to make a neighbour a super neighbour.

If you are able to see your mobile lookout tower in your item storage, when is the game telling you that you don't have one?

This is a known issue that the developers will have to fix at some time in the migration.
Instead of changing farms and back just click on the farm you are on to refresh it and that will do the same thing.

If you want to go to market to sell products to Tom instead of other farmers, you can do that through your storage. Just click on the button at the bottom of any product to Go to the market to sell.

If they are listed already in your My Neighbors tab, then all you need to do is click the Add a s a neighbor button in their box.
If they are not listed in the separate boxes are you friends with them in Facebook and theny don't play Farm Town? When you send those to non-players you will not get acknowledgement in the area above until after they start playing.

As long as I am posting I was wondering why improvements and added features keep coming and going.

EXAMPLES:

the list of neighbors was working and then went away
the message center worked and then stopped
the check work on farms feature worked and then went away
messages when working on water items went away and then returned.
(the messages cause my computer to get slow and finally run out of memory)

You have been asked several times now, to check the amount you have in your storage before you start harvesting, then check the amount after you have harvested and then restart your farms and check the amounts you have. I think you will find thgat after restarting you are getting the full amount. Currently the total amount is not added until after you restart the farms.

Hi Jan Edwards, farm 2 or farm 1? There is a known glitch that the sheds on farm 1 do not show the text of how much you have harvested. They do harvest and the amounts are put into your storage. You can check by refreshing the farm and then hover the mouse over then and they will show the length of time until the next harvest.

Hi Chris,
INstead of clearing the memcache, clear your browser cache, close the browser and then reload your farms. It will be slower when you do after this as it has to download the graphics again.

Not all the graphics have been added back into the game. That is why you are getting the error, but it doesn't stop the loading of the game.

There is a list towards the bottom of the post that will help you. We will update that list as the rest of the features are added back.

Everyone is playing a restricted version of the game at this time which is why some are features not usable. Please go to the 1st post on page 1 of this thread (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650134) and read what is there so you are all caught up with what is currently available in the game. There is a list towards the bottom of the post that will help you.

Check that post from time to time, as that's where the latest updates will be as the developers have time to finish working on sections of the game and add features back. We update that list as we get more features added back.

The animal animation is not there in gifts as the graphics for those have not been added. All you should see in those boxes is a blank space. They are not trying to load.

You are able to sell products at market and also you can use the ZIP button to convert large boxes into regular ones, then get the coins for the difference and reduce the percentage.

To go to market to sell, open your storage and click in the Go to Market to Sell button in any of the products. Once at market you can select what you want to sell.

We cant check which was your previous percentage but the one you posted is according to what your data shows up.

Hi John :)

Please check your preferences, the wrench, and see if you have a check mark for Show coins and XP animations and/or Show Feedback while farming options.

If so, please uncheck those options and then click in the green check mark to save changes.

Also, if you are working on a farm with heavily layered waters, then try to only show the water items.

You can clear your browser cache and see if that helps before starting fishing.

It would not be anything the developers have done. They are not working on the live version build you are playing on. Even with that we would have many posts with this problem and we are not getting those.
Have you tried a different browser to see if the same thing happens in it?

That is normal as it does have to load your farms when you click Play.

I moved your post to the News & Announcements thread about the Game Migration Updates.
You can collect from your animal sheds. You just have to do them individually until the facility manager is added back in.
You can find out what is available currently in the game and find any updates when they add more of the functions in the first post of this thread.
Yes they are working on getting the rest of the functions back into the game and you will be able to do all of them when they get done. This is not a simple game and is very complex as they have had many years to add all these functions under Flash. Converting all of them to a new language is not an easy task. Please be patient while they work to get the game back to what it was.

I'm sorry but we can not give you any specific dates. Those are beig tested at the moment. We're all in the same boat. The only thing I can really suggest is that you may want to build up the stock of anything you know you usually plant a lot of or quite frequently so you're fully ready for when they are back. You might want to make sure you're not showing anything particularly low on stock if you're not sure of everything. If you think you've got enough perhaps plant something that earns you either xp more often or perhaps more coins if you need those for any farm expansions. The rest of Farm 43 is yet to come.

I know I have everything i need and don't need either coins or xp , so if I had the time I would get stuck into redesigning a farm myself. Up to you what you want to do with what's currently possible at this time :)

Please make sure that your browser is up to date and that 3rd party cookies and popups still allowed in your browser then please try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached). A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then try sending gifts again.

I can see you have gifts in your gift box, have to tried storing what's in there?

Along with running memcache did you also check if cookies and pops were allowed in Firefox? Just in case you need the instructions for that, here's the link: http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=625118

You might also want to check that Firefox is up to date and that you don't have any extensions added and enabled in Firefox that may cause a problem.

Before the change when you moused over your farms it told you what was fertilized (and yes I know you can see that now) and what was watered and irrigated. Will this fetaure return? I hope so as it was very useful.

We think they will be added again but we dont know when. You can check the information by clicking in Show Names and then in Show Extra Farm Info button. It is not the same by can help you in the meanwhile :)

I am not sure exactly what it is either except it is wanting something from the server which is not available. Most likely is for a graphic that is not available yet. As long as you can still go on I wouldn't worry about it as that will get corrected as functions are added back in the game.
