I can not preselect harvest plow sow with any seeds before i change farms and still have same one , defaults to non ex seeder but can change farms then select it and its fine just don't know if its a bug or just how it works now ? but keep up the good work . farm id 1812298660 farm ix=0 :)

Been almost a month, but the announcement about Flash support ending was over a year ago. Should I keep checking to see if the quests are available again or give up on the game altogether? I feel like such a fool for the money I wasted on this game now for Farm Cash so I could buy facilities to finish quests. I guess I learned a valuable lesson...don't spend real money on Facebook games no matter how tempting it might be.

Here in the first post of this thread on page 1 you can find what is currently available You will also find updates on what is being released when those happen so keep an eye on that post. The developers are working hard on getting the rest of the functions back into the game.

I have read all updates since the game switch from flash to HTLM5.
I have an older MAC and use Safari. I can access the game, it does take sometime to load, but I can get in.
I can access all 42 of my farms my tools work and the graphics are great! Thank you.

What features do you not have that are mentioned in the updates? You can see what is currently available in the game in the first post of this thread. You can also watch that post for any future updates as the developers add more functions.

Only thing I can suggest is try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and when they are at the stage you want to freeze them try again.

EDIT: I don't freeze flowers, but have been told and looked it up that you do have to water them even if frozen. In the Game Guide chapter on flowers it tells you "However flowers will still die if not watered, but they will return to their glory in the first water once they've died. This means you can always bring back dead flowers by simply re-watering them!"

Hi Sharon,
This has nothing to do with the game not being fully back yet.

Next time you go to harvest a crop, check the amount you have in storage before you start. Then harvest it and look again at the amount in your storage. Restart your farms and again check the level. It should go up after you harvest and then again after you restart for the belt bonuses.


If you do not see them rise at that point then please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

The clearing the memcache will not restore anything you were previously missing, but may help in the future harvests.

Are you getting a black screen when you click in Send Gifts tab or when you click in your My Requests tab?

Which browser are you using? Is it updated? Did you clear your browser cache?
When I hit to go to the thread it comes up a black screen with a block on it.It takes it a little bit then it goes off and my page shows up I can get into everything but play .But it finally comes up.I use chrome Cleaned my cache and it is update. Also in the storage I have my things that I sell it I don't have any thing in storage that I can use later

These are farms I never had a problem working before the switch but now am having to restart my browser every 6-8 farms often needing to go into Windows Task Manager to shut down the browser and restore control.
I have tried Opera, Chrome and Firefox all with the same results

You should be able to level up fine. I can see that you haven't levelled up.

Try clearing your FT memcache. To do that Click Here (https://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?do=clear_memcached). A window will open with a list of "unsetting", that is the memcache being cleared. Close that window and FT if you have it open in another window. Then reload and see if that both corrects your level and that you get the FC reward for those levels please.

I had some problems yesterday that others have previously reported but I have not had until this week. I suggest checking your browser(s) for updates. Click the menu and then select either About or if it is listed Update and Recovery to do it. I found all 4 of my browsers needed updating but had stopped deigning to update themselves. :)

I moved your post to the thread about the Game Migration Updates.
Ifthese farms are heavily layered then that may be the problem. Not all of the layering functions have been done, so that may be causing you problems.
Try unchecking everything in the preference Show items that you do not need for the current work before you go to their farms.

Are you using a bookmark or a link from the forums to get to your farms? If so don't do that. Instead go to your farms from your Facebook home page.

The black screen with the cube is only on the farm loading. That does not show on any of the other tabs at the top of the farms.
For your storage set the filter to all and you will see all of the things in your storage.

I have moved your post to the Game Migration Updates thread since you are able to load the game. Please post problems or questions in this thread for any function currently in the game.
For your slow loading, do you have your browser set to automatically clkean it's cache? If you do try turning that off and see if your farms load faster. When the game first loads it has to download all the graphics for your farms. If the cache is being cleared when you close the browser then it has to download those every time. If that is not set then please check the items in the first post of the following link:

Please note that when you harvest you don't get exp points. If you are using a combine you will get exp points for plowing and for the seeds you plant, but not for harvesting.


Do you normally hire someone to fish? If so then when you do the fishing yourself you will not get as many fish as you would from them doing the work. Also you will not get as many if you run out of bait.


For gifts, if those are multiple gifts from the same person as many do then they may not all show up. If you are not getting any gifts you may have stuck gifts that have already been accepted so can't be again.
If you have stuck gifts in your My Requests tab, then please click on this link and see if those gifts are showing up, take in mind that page can only show you up to 100 at a time: Facebook Games Activity (https://www.facebook.com/games/activity)

You can accept/exchange them one at a time BUT if they are ones you have tried accepting but did not get, that is because they are ones that you have already accepted at a previous time that did not clear from that area. If that's the case you will have to clear them out of that section. To do that go back to that page and click the X instead of Accept to clear them all out. If you have a considerable amount of gifts and clearing the first lot you see does not resolve the problem with My Requests you may have to go back to that page to more or all of them out.

I have a question.....since the migration I have not leveled up and right before the migration I was about to level up and I have been planting and working my farms but I am still stuck at the same level. Will my levels be updated once all the migration is finally done and complete? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Oh and one more thing should I be working all jobs on my farms?

If you are having to water the flowers before harvesting refresh the farm before you try harvesting. If you don't then it will look like they are not getting all the flowers.
Harvest as you normally would and then refresh the farm. You should see that they are all done, but the graphics didn't clear.

When I hovered over a farm in that box, it always showed me if it was watered/irrigated/fertilized. Now it doesn't.

The animal shed problem only of not showing the amounts is only on farm 1 that we know of and the developers are aware of it. If you do no9t see the text you don't need to restart your farms. Just refresh the farm you are on by clicking it in the farm selector, then you can look at the animal sheds to see they have been harvested.
The animations in the game have not been added back in yet. You cansee though that when you click the green check for irrigating or if only doing one farm when you click on that farm with the sprinkler there is a text message that tells you it has been done.

Hi Linda,
This can happen if it is a heavily loaded farm. The only thing I can suggest right now is to uncheck any Show items in your preference you don't need to do the work.

When this happened were your flowers ready to harvest, or they had gone to waste and you had to water them first?

Have some patience please. Farm Towen will be back to full function and is not going away. The developers are working hard to get the rest of the functions added back into the game. It takes time for a complex program as this is to reprogram each function then make sure it is not going to break something alrady available and is going to work correctly.
You are wrong that nothing is happening. It took 11 years for Farm Town to be built to what it was. It can't be rebuilt over night.

Give them a chance they are working hard. We have been getting updates the last update was on the 1st February. And we've been getting updates every Tuesday so far. So if it all goes to plan we could get an update later. Remember farm town is on a different timezone to the rest of the world so we may have a update tomorrow as well. Updates aren't going to be overnight and may take a week or possibly longer. Patience is key here. You can still do your own farms and let Super-neighbours do your farm too and you could also work for your Super-neighbours too if you have been set as one.

I have a question about crops: For the past month, I have been planting all of the crops. I have a good sprinkler so I harvest most of the crops every day & the rest every other day. Am I wasting my time planting & harvesting? I was thinking I would store them up until I could use them in my facilities eventually. If the crops aren't really storing up, then I won't waste the 3 hours a day I spend farming. Thank you!

The problem I've encountered is using the tool harvest/plow/seed. I cannot determine if my clicks are planting. Message shows the name of crop and time but the visual of the "EYE" appears to be partially open when attempting to plant. I remember that feature could display remaining plots that needed planting, etc. Is this not fully functioning?

Hi Donna,
I moved your post to the Bame Migration Updates thread.
The eye is partially open because while it does hide anything else on the farms when working crops it will not hide the crop fields as you plant them so you can see what you have planted and what you are harvesting plowing and planting currently.

We will have to test this and see if we can get that. Have you tried using the neighbors plow just to see if it would continue beyond the first section?

Are you using a saved link/bookmark? If you are then please use the Farm Town link from your Facebook home page in the left column section for shortcuts or click the Play Farmtown button at the top of the forums.
Using a link/bookmark right now is not a good idea as the versions change as the developers add functions and do fixes for the game right now.

Are you being switched back to the larger EX tool on the same farm or is it when you change to another farm? If it is to another farm then that is working correctly as it automatically selects your largest tool when you arrive at a new farm.
You can if using the EX tool set it to highlight mode if the farms you are working on are not layered with staggered fields.

We know that most players use the Facility Manager to interact with facilities but this option was necessary to implement the Facility Manager.

I understand what you are saying, but developers have to get the facilities working before they can work on the Facility Manager.

This is a complex 12 years old game with monthly releases, so they have to add some features to be able to work and release more of them after being tested.

We are all in the same boat. Yes, if you want to work your facilities you need to click in each of them to start all/load all or store all/cash out

All facilities have to be working correctly before the developers start working in the Facility Manager which is what they are doing right now according to the Note in the uptdate. :)

I don't see any boats in your storage or on your farms. Are you fishing just with the fishing pole, one at a time?

What happens when you try to fish?

When I try to fish nothing shows up the balance just stays the same. I don't have any boats. Just a pole. I usually hire people from the market to fish and that's how I always fish using someone elses boat. When this first started I was able to catch fish but not now.

I just tried the fishing pole, while you are fishing the number showing up the amount of fish available doesnt change, but if you stop fishing,move the pole to not stay on the water and then hover the pole on that piece of water again, it updates to a new amount.

It is hard to fish using only the pole, when you see the amount doesnt change then refresh the farm and try again.

If you had a superneighbor with boat it would be very useful :)

Try turning off in the preferences all the show items except what you are currently working on. Then switch what you have turned on to do the next job. That may help keep you from freezing up.

Have some patience please. Farm Town will be back to full function and is not going away. The developers are working hard to get the rest of the functions added back into the game. It takes time for a complex program as this is to reprogram each function then make sure it is not going to break something already available and is going to work correctly.
You are wrong that nothing is happening. It took 11 years for Farm Town to be built to what it was. It can't be rebuilt over night.

Your comments are so very on point.
If this was an easy job, all games would have been converted instead of being dropped.
I am sure the finished product will be better in the future than when we switched over.
At least I am willing to give the developers a chance.
We have enjoyed every upgrade that has been made over the 11 years
and we will be waiting for the finished product.

It's me again with another Semi-Trailer Truck problem: I have Semi-Trailer Trucks on most of my farms. I don’t usually have all products in my Semi checked. Today I noticed that certain items I needed were not checked so I added check marks, then clicked the ORDER ALL button. I noticed that as I scrolled down the list of products the check marks seemed to be “moving/changing” too. Items that I would always have checked (leather, for example) were unchecked. After manually adjusting semis on several farms, I decided to clear my cache & run the FT memcache. I refreshed my farm but found the same results. After going through a few more farms (to find I had to check or uncheck products) I decided it would be easier to just check all products. I had to do this on all my semi farms.

Then I noticed that the ORDER ALL button doesn’t seem to work for ALL products. I found that I had to manually order ALL for certain products when I realized their IN TRANSIT was 0. (“In Transit” = 0: Leather Roll, Carbonated Water, some others, too)

You do not have to go to each truck as changes you make in one truck set it for all trucks. That said you are right the settings for the truck products looks like they are reverting to what they were prior to the change over from Flash. In my case all items are checked. If I uncheck several and close the ruck they revert to all checked.
For now I can only say try checking the ones you want then Order All and see if they appear in the Pending. If they do then you will need to do that in each truck until this can be fixed.

That means that facilities had to be added back to the game before the Facility Manager.

Developers are working to add the Facility Manager in a time so we all can work facilities through it.

The watermill missing is a known issue by the developers and they will get it fixed.


For the mineral mine this is also known about the check boxes. The developers are aware of this one too and will have to fix it. In the mean time you will have to continue starting those separately in each mine.

The markets are not available yet for anyone. We would first need the avatars added back into the game so you can see each other. Then the markets have to be added back in. The developers are working on getting the rest of the functions back into the game.

It took me 45 mins to do 336 facilities on one farm. You have facs showing, click on one, start all products then hide the fac, do the next one, and just repeat til all are done and hidden..

Not sure where to put this. I tried going to where this was first reported by me but could not add anything. I am missing animal buildings and one FC semi-truck. It is not on my Farm 39. I have them on 4,8,16 and 20-43 with the exception of the one missing on Farm 39. My SN looked as well and did not see the semi on Farm 39. Please replace my 22 FC for this semi.

I am missing the following animal buildings:
-Farms 29 and 31 do not have ANY animal building - Dairy, hen, wool, rabbit and I am not sure of anything else on these 2 farms.
-Farm 23 - no wool, dairy, or hen - I have a rabbit with 3 rabbits in it. so missing all animals in each of these as well as the buildings.
-Farm 14 no dairy or hen.
- Farm 20 has 2 dairy and 2 hen - scared to put anything in storage but will as long as you all know the issues.

When I harvest the first square's worth of harvest (when I harvest it) doesn't disappear so that I can then plow & plant unless I go to another farm and come back. The rest of the farm is fine but that first square does this. (On every farm that I've got fields).

Cannot harvest Animal Buildings: 'Coming Soon' message.

Happens on two different PC's (Windows 7 & 10) and three different browsers.

"Enabled harvest of animals inside a single Animal Building, this is now working for all farms. You have to click the animal building in your farm and select the 'Harvest Animals' option. Once harvested, if you mouse over the animal building, the time to harvest info will be updated."

That option or moving them to storage are not available yet. You will have to leave them in the gift box until it is or you can sell them in the market which you have to get to through the storage.

The developers had no choice to switch to the HTML version when they did as Adobe disabled Flash on the 12th of January. So either they switched or Farm Town would not open for you at all.
It is your option whether you want to do your facilities one at a time or wait until the Facility Manager is finished and added. The facilities had to be added first and working before the facility manager can be done.
Any products you store will be going into your storage and you can also load your services and then cash out from them when completed. The non-ingredient products for those that do not have a further use can be sold in the market through your storage.

When you say you are going back, do you mean that you harvest them move to another farm and then when you return to the farm with flowers on there are some not harvested? If so how many is it, are there just scattered amounts or entire blocks of flowers not harvested?

A png file would first need to be somewhere public for us to be able to see it. So for example if you uploaded it to Facebook and made the post public, you could then you can copy the link and paste it here so we can go look.
There is another way to do it, but that takes longer and more explaining which you don't need if you're willing to put the picture somewhere public.

That link is a very basic link only to see if it would load the WebGL. It won't have the updates.
Please try clearing your browser cache, close your browser, then reload the game from the Facebook link. It can take several minutes to load as it has to download all the graphics for the game. Leave it sit for a bit and see if it will finish loading. The black screen is where it is downloading all those graphics.


If it still does not load, please check if there is any update for Windows, you can type update in the search box and you usually get "search for updates", you have to follow the instructions. Remember to close and restart after updating.


After that then follow the instructions given in this announcement:

After trying them all, then restart and check again if your game loads.

The ones on Farm 1 will not show the amounts. This is known and will be fixed. The animal sheds on that farm are being harvested, but you can't see how much. Refresh the farm after you harvest them and you will see they now show a time until they can be harvested again.

Are you seeing that those are ready to harvest when hovering mouse over the building that are not being harvested? Or seeing a time for them to be ready?


If they are ready and you click on it to harvest what are you seeing when it doesn't harvest? Try refreshing the farm and see if it changed to a time until ready again?


I have gone through all my farms and harvested every one of mine with no problem.

Hi Sharon,
I just checked and you do not have any Roasted Eggplant Dip in your storage. The Taste of facilities are service facilities. They do not make the products. They only load the products made in regular facilities. In this case those products are made in the Egyptian Restaurant.

The watermill on farm #1 has disappeared, I thought perhaps I had deleted it by accident so I got a watermill from another farm to place in the now empty spot on farm #1 but it will not allow me to so it seems that the original watermill is still there, just hidden. I'm not stressing it, I'm sure it will return when all the kinks are worked out, I just thought the devs should be aware of it.

According to your data you do have 23 of them on your farms. Try unchecking all of the Show items in your preferences except for Animal buildings and then look for them. You may have them under decorations or non-facility buildings.

I move your post to the Game Migration Updates thread since you can play.
It sounds like you have your zoom set too large in the farms and maybe the zoom level for your browser too small.

Make sure your browser zoom when you have the game open is at least 100%.
Then use th scroll wheel of your mouse or the + & - buttons under the full screen button to adjust the farm size to where you can work on it.

Hi charlie saunders,

If you were using a combine, rather than just harvesting crops, then what you will have been charged for is the plowing part. Plowing always cost you coins.

Your coins will not go up even if you were only harvesting. You get coins for those if you were to sell them rather than use them to make products in facilities.

We are aware that not all methods of various layering tricks are working. I am sorry but as usual we can't allow which ones may or may not be working to be posted.

There is still a considerable amount of work to be done before this game is back to normal game play without all the tricks that people like to do, so I can't give you any idea of what will or won't work now or later. All you can do is try them every now and again and see what happens.

Your tools must be in your storage for them to work from your toolbox. If they are in your storage and still not working then take them out onto a farm, click the save button, restart your farms and then put them back into your storage. Then try them again from the toolbox.

When you harvest you get the crops but you dont lose coins.

But if you use a Combine harvest/plow then your coins decrease due to plowing as it always had a cost.

Did your farm 30 open even with the error? Could just be something that didn't load right.


Please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and try again.

Did you just water those flowers? This has been known for a long time that just after you water them they show ready. Refresh the farm and they will then show correctly.

I just checked on mine and not seeing this problem. What zoom level do you have your browser set at?

Were you in full screen when you tried to look and then went to normal screen because it wouldn't open in full screen? That is the only way I can get only a partial pop up. The help information will not show in full screen, but if you go back to normal screen it shows off to the right.

When you harvest, chop, fish your farms yourself, you do not receive coins, you receive the harvests which go to your storage.

To get coins you have to go to marketplace to sell them or a % of them. Please remember that most of those harvests are used in your facilities, so pay attention to what you sell.

You can safely sell the Non Ingredients and Non Ingredients (for me).

That happens when you get an error in the game. Could be something not loading or sometimes happens if trying to work on layered farms if they are heavily covered.
Try closing and restarting your browser and farms. If that doesn't bring your farms back try clearing your browser cache, close the browswer and then reopen your farms.

It could just be a slowdown with internet, so the updating is getting delayed.
Nothing we can do about that. The entire US is currently in the grips of artic cold and winter storms with a lot of power outages.

So since I still have 5 of them uncleared the total will be 1139 x5 x300 = 1,708,500 already by my calculation when it is available to upload to my farms' tanks to be used. My calculations are as follows:

Farm's gas status as showing today: 9,273,709
Total of my 5 refinerries : 1,708,500 (1139 x 5 x 300)

Total gas tanks EXCLUDING the Refill Station
where I can retrieve from the MAP: ` 10,982,209

The total does not reflect what is already stored in the Refill tanks, so the total could be more.

My question is:

Will that spot that shows my farm's present gas status in my farms show another digit more when my gas status shows more than 11 million tanks? If not, will it go back to just show 1 million or more gas status? I know sometimes when the system does not hold another digit allowed to be on that spot, it will automatically deduct one digit off, which will then make my gas total be read as 1 million instead of 10 million. So, please ensure to allow one more digit to show the gas status in my farm so I WILL NOT be losing more than 10 million gas tanks which I would have accumulated when the MAP is functioning for me to go to my Refill Station to retrieve my gas.

There isn't any problem with you adding them to your storage or adding them to your gas amount through the refill station. You are not going to lose them. I have 1.591 billion in my gas, so you will have no problem going up from 9 million to 10 million.

The markets and inn are not available yet. This is a restricted version of the game as not all functions have been added into it yet. The developers ar4e working hard to get the rest of the functions added back into the game.

You do not earn or lose coins when harvesting. Istead you get the crops which you can sell or use.

However when you plow and replant then it costs you coins, so if you are using a combine then you will see coins going down for the plowing and to but the seeds to replant.

The number of neighbors is controlled by the database file that stores the neighbors' ID numbers and it is a fixed length. That is why you can only have the number of neighbors we have depending on the id numbers of each neighbor.
If you want to make a suggestion please post it in the Suggestions section in English please.

On many of my farms, the Semi-Trailor Trucks are missing. I have cleared my cache and they are still not there. I do a search, and it says there are 0 on the farm and 0 in storage. My ID is 1607748320. There are other animal buildings missing on some farms as well.

According to your data you have 43 semi-trailer trucks and all are on farms so 1 per farm and none are missing. If you spelled it the way you did in your post then you would not find them. If that is the case do your search agaig and just search for "semi".
For the animal buildings you will need to be specific as to what is missing so we can check.


EDIT: I have gone through all 43 of your farms and see semi-trailer trucks on every farm. Try unchecking all the Show items in your preferences except for Show Tools and Show Animal Buildings. Then go from farm to farm to see them all there. You have 2 Dairy Sheds on your farm 2. Only one works per farm.

Please supply more information on your issue.

what direction is the farm moving in when you click on a section to fish, do you have the farm zoomed out so that you can see the entire farm to work, are you using regular screen or full screen to fish.
what size boat you are using, using it in highlight or extent mode
type of farms this is happening on, like overlapped waters, waters off the edges of farms, if it's wall to wall fishing, size of farm
is this happening fishing your own farms or when fishing as a super neighbour.



If these farms are very large with a considerable amount of fishing or other items on them, have you tried enabling the Compressed Graphics option in your game preferences to work them?

Are you guys aware of the problem of planting crops and the appearance of all blocks filled and then a day later or a few hours later, there are plowed fields with no crops. I've had it happen a few times this morning. It's aggravating. I found one farm with one blank plot so I figured maybe I missed it somehow. Then I found another farm that showed about 10 or 15 blank spots. It's a 2 day crop with 14 hours left so I'm sure that it hasn't been like that all along.

Which tool were you using?

Are the not seeded plots randomly appearing or are them the ones for you first click to plant?

After a number of years away from FT, I recently started a new game and am currently on level 22. The axe is the one thing that doesn't work properly. When I chop trees using the axe, they appear to chop fine, but I don't get any logs. And if I refresh the farm, the 'chopped' trees are back to saying that they are ready to harvest. From what I can see, other people seem to be able to chop trees without any issues, so I'm guessing that it is specifically the axe that doesn't work properly.

Also, I see that facilities have been enabled again, but since I started over, I haven't been able to purchase any. Has the ability to purchase facilities not been enabled yet? Is that a separate programming function from being able to use facilities?

Try reloading your farms and see if they show in your storage. I just tried and mine did not show until I reloaded my farms.
Yes the facilities are not able to be bought currently. It is a seperate function.

My user Id is (1297551737 ) when I attempted to put train tracks back on my farm from my item storage it told me that I wasn't able to do it and I should try again later. However if I went and purchased those same items from the store it allowed me to place those same items on the farm in the exact same spot. The farm in question is farm 15.

To place something from the storage currently on the farm requires a clear are larger than the item you are placing. It is not recognizing if you have a clear spot the size of a tree, but is wanting the whole area clear.

When is this going to be fixed? My transplanter is missing. I can not use the tools I bought with farmtown cash for quick filling and emptying my factories and harvesting my animals. You knew this was coming. Get my things back.. I want my transplanter back and the ability to harvest.

The transplanters and facility manager is not available yet. Hopefully they will be soon.
This is not a simple game to convert from one language to another. It is very complex and they have been adding to it for 12 years. Please be patient as they work on getting the rest of the functions back into the game. They are working hard trying to get them working and tested before they release them to everyone.
You don't say what tools you can not use besides the transplanters, but if those tools are not in your storage the toolbox can not see them. Put any tools you have in your storage.

Not sure that my original post mentioned that I was using the Purple Hand designer, but I did find the ability to find a few spots on the extreme sides (the size of a tree) on the farm to place the train track items. From there I was able to move them to where they originally existed. Is the ability to take a farm offline (icon which looks like a plug) coming back any time soon?
