Have you tried to load their farms with everything hidden in your preferences, the wrench ? Are you working farms full of water items?

Please clear your memcache, link below. A new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farm if it was open in another tab. Then reopen your farms and check it it helped with your supernieghbors farms.

If that doesnt help you, then please clear your browser cache. The first time you try to load the game after the clearing, it will load slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.


Yes I cleared the memcache numerous times. But now it's working well. Maybe the new St. Patrick's Day gifts were being loaded when I was on yesterday morning.

Depends on what fishing tool you are using. Even back in Flash you had to refresh the farm to get all the fish.

Hi Farmers Wife,

Have you checked the Funnel filter in your Facility Manger to make sure it's set to work on all facilities on all farms? If it's not then it won't start/load them all.

If they still won't start or load with it set like that and you have enough products, please look for those facilities you have listed in the Facility Manger and make sure that there is a check mark on the box of the facility and then open the facility and make sure you also have check marks added for every product.

Before the migration I had a lot ....not quite 70.....but enough that it was nice to scroll back if i wanted to look for someone, especially someone from the market who was not a FB friend. It was the only way to contact them since not being on FB with messenger with them.
Is what I have normal .... or a bug .... and will I get more space for messages when the migration is complete?

I moved your post to the subject thread about the messages.
Before the move in Flash we had up to 50 messages stored, not 70. Currently the amount appears to be only 9. We don't know if or when the developers will change that back to a higher number after the rest of the major functions are added back into the game.

Thanks, also, for the quick reply. I understand adding more space for messages is not that important in the big picture of the migration. Nice to have at least 9. I have been very lucky in not having any trouble playing the game since the migration. Just could not understand why these few ppl said they had so many and i had way less space. Sure hope they will add the 50 like we had before.

It is working as usual. The memcache clears your data on the server and forces it to be reloaded, so you get a clean load.

All the multiplanters and Transplanters are working. You need to have everything on the farm showing. Then you need a clear space large enough to set them down.

If you are trying to set trees on top of something else that is layering. We can not allow or provide any instructions about that in the forums.

If you are trying to buy new trees, then you first have to pick up the multiplanter and that will open the store to trees.
Do you have anything hidden when you are trying to plant them? If niot and you can see the green square then they should plant.

Hi EmilyF,
Click on the multiplanter and put it in your storage. All tools need to be in storage and they do not take up spaces in your storage. Then you can open the Toolbox and click on it to pick it up to use. All of your farming tools will work that way.
If nothing is hidden and the trees you chose will not set down on the farm then where you are trying to place them is too close to something else. The area around the trees will turn green when you can set them down.

Hi MOGlen,
The brown gifting machine only increases your Gift Box size. The Green one is what doubles your gifts. One thing to note though is if someone sends multiple gifts you may not get all of them. How many are you getting for 50 gifts?



For the Games activity showing more gifts that are not showing in the MY Requests they may be stuck gifts. You can try accepting some and see if they show in your Gift Box. If they do not show then they are stuck and the only thing you can do is remove them by clicking on the X for each one.


The data for gifts comes from Facebook and sometimes the data doesn't completely transfer. Unfortunately this is random and very difficult for the developers to find the cause. It will usually clear up in a few days.
TAZ -- quick update -- I found One gift that was hung on the FB activity page. If it was in the top 50, none would load. Once I got 50 new ones, it would load 50 but not the next group if it included the bad one.

I was getting an error when trying to IGNORE the gift, but was finally able to clear it using the IGNORE ALL of the FarmTown Gifts. Thanks for all you do!

Thank you Tiger! I did check the funnel, and everything was checked as you recommended. I then checked the facilities for the checkmarks. Every facility had the check mark, but there was one item in each facility that did not have the checkmark. I have since fixed them, and they all load properly now. Thank you!

Is this 1 farm or multiple farms?
If it is 1 farm then you may have accidently layered that farm. The only way to fix this is to delete all the plots on that farm, restart your farms and see if they come back. If they do delete them again and repeat deleting and restarting until none show up again. Then you should be able to replow it.

I figured that I had probably built up a good reserve that went away when we weren't able to work facilities. So I added a few more sugar refineries and let them work for a couple days and checked again. I always made sure to reload to be sure.

For no good reason, the second time, I decided to go ahead and load all and start all. I reloaded and checked again and found that I now had extra sugar. I sorted the facilities by utilization and checked each one that was under 100% and did not find sugar to be lacking in any of them.

Just now, I again stored all and checked ingredients. It listed 11108 sugar needed for remaining capacity and that I needed 278 more in my storage. I closed Facility Manager and reloaded the game, checked again, and the numbers were the same.

So I went ahead and Started and Loaded all, and found that again, no facilities were short on sugar. As I look at the ingredients list right now, 8 sugar units are needed for remaining capacity and I have 3124 extra.

Is this odd? It's not really a problem for me, as it seems I do have enough sugar.

This is normal when you are short on an item. When you fill your facilities the first thing it does is fill with what you have available in your storage. Then the bonus batches from the belts and dans are added replacing some of what was used from your storage. The ones replaced by the bonus batches are returned to your storage. This make s the numbers in your storage change as you are filling.

I have tried the blue buttons for harvesting animals individually and also to start/load facilities and they are working correctly for me.
I have tried clicking in different parts of the blue buttons and all worked fine.

Is the problem happening as soon as you start clicking the buttons or after clicking in many of them?

If the problem starts after clicking in many of the blue buttons, then you could reload the game and see if that helps you.

I am not working my facilities anymore because I am trying to get all my crops up to at least 200,000. I am planting them by harvest time and am working on the 12 hour ones now but getting nowhere. Some of the 8 hour ones I've had to replant even though they said 200,000 or more. Please help me Ruth Evans

Hi Ruth,
After you harvest if you will restart your farms then your yield will go up. Only part of what you get from harvesting is updated until you have restarted your farms. This is to keep from spending a lot of your play time with the updating and slowing down your farming.

I have moved your post to the News & Announcements thread about the Game Migration Updates.
If you haven't realized it we have a new version of Farm Town as Flash support by Adobe ended at the end of this past December. Because of that Farm Town had to be migrated to a new programming language. This migration is still in process, so there are some parts of the game which are not available yet.
You can see what is available in the first post on the first page of this thread.
What is scrolling below the game is information for the developers to be able to see how the game is loading and working. It is for the developers and as long as you can get into the game and play doesn't need to concern the player. You can click on the Toggle FT Console and close that up so you won't see it. You camn also click on the X in the memory line and stop that from showing.

The map feature is not available at this time. Please go to the 1st post on page 1 of this thread (http://r1.slashkey.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650134) and read what is there so you are all caught up with what is currently available in the game. Missing features are being added back gradually but each of them has to be tested before everyone gets them. There is a list towards the bottom of the post that will help you. We will update that list as the rest of the features are added back.

Are you seeing those items listed in non-ingredients when you go to the market to sell or just when you open your storage and set it to the non-ingredients filter? I am not sure what is going on with the storage as when I opened mine and set it to non-ingredients (for me) it was still showing everything rather than filtering correctly. But when I went to the market from there to sell non-ingredients it corrected to the right items.

If you need to ask for ingredients, the pop up when you get short of items is not working.

The developers are aware of this. Please if you need ask for ingredients, open the facility, and click in the + sing to the right of the item.

re #2695 - I restarted my farms and the yield did go up. However, I want to explain that I have averaged each field out to an approx. amount they should yield - of course, realizing some crops are bigger than others. When I planted my Peanuts they showed 107,467 at the start. After finishing planting 8 fields, I should have shown a yield of approx. 213,157 but it shows 175,046 - a difference of 38,011- it can't be that much off. These figures have been quite accurate before this update. I'm spending all my time planting the same crops over and over and over. Please help me. My Soybean crop is also way off. I love this game but not being able to do anything but plant the same crops over and over sucks. frmrfbi

When I planted my Peanuts they showed 107,467 at the start. After finishing planting 8 fields, I should have shown a yield of approx. 213,157 but it shows 175,046 - a difference of 38,011- it can't be that much off. These figures have been quite accurate before this update. I'm spending all my time planting the same crops over and over and over. Please help me. My Soybean crop is also way off. I love this game but not being able to do anything but plant the same crops over and over sucks. frmrfbi

I tested this and can't duplicate it. Maybe your estimate is off. You should be only estimating 2 boxes per field (if they are fertilized) and then the bonus from the belts, but that is a variable amount.

It is 200 million that is the cut off, not 200,000. This is not a bug as it is purposely cut off at that point. There is a limit to how much of any item you can have and that is 200 million. That does not mean you can have 200 million of every item as that would go over the total storage space.

What jobs are you doing? If it is harvesting you don't get coins for that.

We don't have the data for when you are working as a super neighbor. From your last transaction I can see in the data which is a cash out of services to current I can only see an increase in coins, not any reduction.

Hi Hannah,
It sounds like you have accidentally layered those farms. The only way to correct this is to delete all the plots on those farms, restart your farms and see if any come back. If you see more plots after you restart delete those and repeat the delete and restart until they are all gone and don't show up again. Then you can replow and plant.

You can cash out and store all from the Facility manager now. You do not have to go to each farm for this.

Leave your tools in your storage. You can pick up to use the tools by just clicking on them in the Toolbox. You do not have to place them on the farm you are working on. They do not take in space in your Item storage total.

There are many things that can cause it to be slower or faster at different times of the day. Your internet can be at different speeds depending on how many are using the servers at your service provider and through the many links your data goes to get to the Facebook app servers, how many are on those app servers and then on to the Farm Town servers. It could also be how many are on the Farm Town servers at the time as well.
There isn't anything you or we can do to change this.

If you cant see it and you have Show crops checked in your preferences, the wrench, then please clear your browser cache.

First time you load the game after the clearing, the game will load a little slower as all graphics have to be loaded again.

When you are not short of ingredients, own all the facility and those are in storage. Open your Facility Manager and make sure it is set like this. Remember to click the green check mark to save the changes and then try the Start All again again and see if those facilities start:

If it's already set like that and those don't start. Look for those facilities in the Facility Manager and make sure there is a check mark in the box on that facility.

If there is a check mark there, open the facility and make sure that there are also check marks on every product that facility makes.

Please run memcache and see it that helps you. Click in the link below, a new window will open with a short list of unsettings. Close that window and your farm if it was open in another tab. Then reopen your farms.

Tiger is not available at this moment.

Please open your facility manager and then click in the little notebook which is the Ingredient Planner.

Once it is open, set the first box to All Facilities, the next one to 15 Days, that means a full run, to fill your facilities to 100%, the last box to By Missing.

You can also put a check mark for Include Disable products. Then click in the blue Update button.

If you see items with red numbers into brackets then that means you are short of that items.
The amount in black is what you need to fill all facs to 100%, the amount in red into brackets is how more products you need to add to get the black amount.

The developers are aware of this. It is the watermills that were purchased a long time ago and only in the one orientation that do not show up.
If you can see it is your facility manager you can still fill and have it worked.
If you can't see it there then the only thing I can suggest is buy another (coins facility) and place it on another farm until they decide wht to do about the ones you can't see.

- Send all type of hire requests except hire for design
- Send online private chat messages

- Visit farms

Note: Map icon and Marketplaces will be enabled in the next few days.

Added clipboard support to all areas where you can enter text: WebGL provides very limited support for copy and paste so we had to implement it from scratch. Hi Lara and barbaraelwart,

With the ability to hire others from your farms back, online and offline ability's are also back so it is normal when you have more than one tab open to the the game for the others to go offline. This is the same behavior and same pop messages as it was in flash, with unity you maybe finding the other tabs may go offline quicker than they used to.

If you want to stay online, only have one tab open to the game. You should be able to work friends facilities offline. If when you open another tab to the game, the disconnect message is already showing, you will need to click those popups to be able to get the the message about working facilities to start working them.

You can ignore that error. It should not be causing a problem.

All it is showing is that your game is offline in that tab. If you haven't seen the disconnect message, you should be able to tell if you are offline by looking at the plug icon top right of your game screen, it will be red instead of green.

That error will show in the console when you are offline in the game and navigate to another persons farm or go back to your own from someone elses' farm while you are offline.

The same for me. The game keeps asking me to click the green tick to reconnect to the server, but it doesn't work. I have to click the red X instead, to remain in offline mode. This is immediately upon opening the game.

Update: I clicked the green tick 22 times (failed), until it finally worked and the green light appeared (showing server online).

It's up to you how you wish to communicate with your friends either in the game via messaging, any buddies in the game via the in game buddy system, or via the various methods that Facebook has to see if any of them would like your farm work.

You would then need to meet up with them on either your farm or theirs to hire them as you can't just go to the market to meet up with a stranger at this time.

To meet up on the same farm one of you will have to provide a farm link so that you can both meet up at the same farm.

I've been going through all my facilities as Mary Marcel suggested yesterday to select 15 days, my problem is that the facilities/services keep reverting by default to the original 'remaining capacity' - little bit frustrating going through 1000s of these only to find they are reverting back - any suggestions please? There is nothing wrong with my internet connection but my farm will not connect. Keeps saying offline.

The same for me. The game keeps asking me to click the green tick to reconnect to the server, but it doesn't work. I have to click the red X instead, to remain in offline mode. This is immediately upon opening the game.

Update: I clicked the green tick 22 times (failed), until it finally worked and the green light appeared (showing server online).

I have moved your post to the game migration thread.
Avatars have just been added to the game. They won't be exactly the same as they were in flash , but should be similar. The changes will take time to get used to them and you may find some skin colours may not show up as well depending on what ground cover you have or what it's standing in front of.

If you know your avatar was wearing a business suit those may be showing a different colour depending on which way around your avatar is standing, if that's the case please let us know. Ideally a picture of it would be great if you know how to do one or if you know which clothes it was you chose for your avatar like one of the Farm Cash outfits, please describe it.

You can not alter your avatar appearance at the moment, so you will have to wait for that to be added.

I have an issue with missing XP points.

If your neighbors are sending you mutiple gifts at the same time then some of those may not actually go through. There is nothing that we can do to help that as it is not the way the game is supposed to work.

If you are opening multiple tabs then they will go offline. We didn't have the plug before this release so you did not see this message.
If you have only 1 tab open then it may just be the number of people on currently checking out hte new release.

You can do your farm work when you are off line. The only need for being on-line is to see and connect with other farmers. You were not seeing this before because this release added the avatars and thus the online/offline. Before this we were always offline.
The amount of players being on at the same time can be the reason you are going offline.

We have sent the off line/on line problem to the developers. We will have to wait for them to look at it and see what the problem is. You would not have had this before because it was only added with this release.

Even if you get the error in the FT Console you should still be able to work on your farms off line. Only thing I can suggest is to click the save when you have finished working a frm.

We are aware of this and the developers have been advised. The avatars were just released and that means we now have the off line/on line plug.
You can still do the work on your farms in off line.
You may want to try restarting your farms and see if you can get it to stay online.

You dont have to go through all your facilities to set every facility to 15 days.

Open your Facility Manager and click in the little notebook showing up at the top of the Facility Manager and to the left of magnifying glass.

You mean the plug doesnt turn to green and only stays in red?

If so, we are aware of that problem and sent an email to the developers.

When you get to your farms, if the plug is red, just wait without doing anything and the plug will turn green in less than a minute.

We are aware of the issue with some watermills, they are on your farm but you cant see them due to the orientation of that item.
If you can see it in your facility manager then you can fill and send to storage from it.

The developers are aware of that problem but we dont know when they will work on it.

If you want to buy another Watermill (it is a coin item) you need to place it in another farm.

About your avatar appearence, you cannot change it yet and developers are still working on them.

The options you choose should stay the way you set them the last time.

Try to set them the way you want and click in Update button. Then click in it again with the same settings to see if they stay for the next time.

I am not sure what information you are trying to copy. There are somethings you can not copy and paste because it is limited in Unity. If you are trying to do it by right clicking to copy and paste and it doen't work try using the control C and Control V for the copy and paste. If that doesn't work then it is that Unity can't do it.

Animals outside the barns should be harvested.

They will return when developers add them back to the game. You cant buy animals as you will not see them on your farms and the option is disabled in the Store.

according to your data they are all there. I went to each of those farms and they do show and ready to harvest. If you have the funnel filter set as i asked then they should show in the facility manager.
If they still are not showing in the facility manager, try going to each farm that they are missing from, open the facility manager, and set that filter to the current farm. See if they show up then. You will have to go to each of the farms and do this.
If they still do not show in the facility manager, then try harvesting each of them from the farm.
i tried doing what you suggested but there was no change. The facilities are still there just the animals are gone. I have alst lost all of my flour mills.

Taz is not available at this moment.

I visited your farms and some of your animal sheds shows a time to be harvested, so it says to me they have already been harvested.

Other animal buildings show Ready to harvest. Have you tried to go to the farms and harvest them one by one and then see if they show up in the Facility Manager?

To be able to see your Animal buildings in the Facility Manager, you have to open it, click in the funnel and set it to:

Facility Status > All facilities

Facility Location> All farms

AND you have to put a check mark for

Animal Buildings
Regular Facilities (All)
Service Facilities (All)

Then click in the green check mark to save changes.

About your Red windmills, I found 2, one on your farm 8 and another on your farm 24

Try turning off all except the waters in the show items in your preferences and then restart your farms. And see if that speeds up the fishing. You can also try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.

I am sorry but the developers dont tell us in advance what or when they are going to add more features.

If you cant add more animal buildings to your farms to store the gift animals, then your only option is to go to Market to sell them.

I saw that another player had posted about information being faded out and just had the same thing happen to me. It wasn't totally faded, just five of the farms. I couldn't click on them and be taken to the farm.

I tried doing the clear memcache. My farm wasn't open on any tab at the time. I did the clear and then went to the farm and it was the same.

It's not a problem for me, because the information is still there, just a bit faded, and the information is correct. I can still get to the faded out farms the old fashioned way. I did take a screen shot, but I'm hoping you don't need one.

I tried doing the clear memcache. My farm wasn't open on any tab at the time. I did the clear and then went to the farm and it was the same.

It's not a problem for me, because the information is still there, just a bit faded, and the information is correct. I can still get to the faded out farms the old fashioned way. I did take a screen shot, but I'm hoping you don't need one.

If you see the wrong things in the list try opening a different one and then back to the one you want. Non-ingredients and Non-ingredients for me will have the same items in them. The Noningredients (for me) will show more if there are facilities that you do not own.
We know about the Sell All not showing if you already are in the Non-ingredients (for me ) filter. It is better to go to the market with the filter set to All and then change it when you get there at least for the time being.


EDIT: Stocks and bonds are non-ingredients. They are made in the Bank, but are not used in the Federal Reserve.

I just tried your farm 4 in full screen and it loaded fine for me. It was very slow loading as it is full of facilities.


Is it possible you have a lot of loose animals on that farm? I can see up to 1500 of nearly every animal being on that farm in your data. I know we can't see the animals currently, but they are still there.

The developers are aware of this. Apparently watermills bought a long time back and setting in one particular rotation are not showing up.
Do you see it in the Facility Manager? If so you can continue working it from there.
You can buy another (coin facility) if you want, but you will have to place it on a different farm.

Sorry, but no there isn't any way to access the previous version. The developers are aware of this problem and will see if they can fix it.

I am having the same problem that Tom reported. The Copy/Paste was working in the INGREDIENT PLANNER during the new migration until the latest update March 20th, 12:50AM. A lot of farmers use this mehod to make spreadsheets for the game to keep track of what they need to produce for facilities.
I hope the team can find the problem soon.

Those popups are not new, the behavior is exactly the same as they were in the flash version when you try to open up multiple tabs to the game for example when working several facility work requests. We're just not used to seeing them as we haven't had them for quite a long time but now offline and online is back to be able to hire others those have come back as well. They were not popular before so it's not surprising that they are not now either. The disconnect ones may appear to show up faster as the new platform is faster than flash was.

When working facilities in several tabs, If you have the 2 trains dispatched that help with facility work and you are quick enough and don't open too many at once so you can get to each one before the disconnect popup shows You should be able to start the facility work then go the the next tab and repeat that. You'll have to see how many you can do before the disconnect popup shows up to know how many tabs to open at one time before opening any more. Then you don't have to click on the popups when the facility work is complete, you can just close the tab. When you have finished with all of the facility work, you should not be having any problems going on line again in just one tab if that's what you want to do.

The devs are aware that those disconnect popups are still not popular when working facilities in multiple tabs. We will have to wait and see if they can do anything about those for that purpose.

However, the idle one will likely remain as there's no need for you to be online if you're not doing anything in game. There's nothing worse than seeing someone online in the game and trying to interact with them but getting no response. This will be more apparent when we get things like selling and trading back as you won't want to waste your time contacting someone who is showing online but may not always be looking in the tab with the game open to see any offers that get sent to be able to respond quickly to accept or reject them. That frustrates both users as the farmer sending ends up having to wait longer for a response and then sends the same offer to someone else and the the one who originally got the offer but didn't respond then gets the message the products are no longer available.

Are your watermills showing on the farms?
This could be for the missing one that the developers are aware of. Watermills bought early in the game and facing one of the orientations do not show on the farm even though they are there and can be worked from the facility manager.

Are those farms layered? If so be sure to uncheck all the show items that you do not need for the work before you go to those farms. Layering has not been worked on by the developers yet, so there may be errors for those.

Please check to make sure the Super Neighbor settings for them are still correct. One of mine just finished working some of mine with no problem.

If that doesn't help then you may need to remove the SN settings, restart your farms and then reset them back and restart again.

You can't hide things and expect to move a facility on top of anything else just because they are hidden. You still have to have a space with nothing in it to set the facility down. Even with the green or purple hand you still have to have a space where there is nothing to set the facility down at least the size of a tree spot.

Please restart your farms and the rest of it will be added to your storage. The game does not do all of the updating instantly after you do the work. If it did then it would slow the game down.
